Like I said, Midnight II would be a good fit for Objective 2, as well. He and 'Hawk can stand around having red-eyed masks and black costumes together.

Knocking Colt's hand away with an impish grin, Jack's irreverent shrug was interrupted as he turned to glare at Dynamo irritably. "For the last time, I'm not-- oh, you meant Grim, right. Well. Never mind, then." Lacing his fingers together behind his head, the fencer raised an eyebrow. "How about some of those little security bots you've got at Archetech, Doc? Wouldn't mind them shooting someone else."

We seriously need a better battlecry than that. But yeah, The Interceptors would be all over the 'desperate last stand holding action' deal for Objective 3. Not to mention that, given that she's preparing to enter pre-med, a certain sibling could very well be volunteering at said hospital. Midnight II would probably fit best with either 1 or 2. I suspect his Intimidation would be more effective on panicking civilians, but the prison breakout sounds pretty darn cool.

[Interceptors] Zombie Powder is a Helluva Drug [IC]
Gizmo replied to Dr Archeville's topic in West End
"Hmph, speak for yourself," Jack replied dryly. "We're not all weathered by long hours spent on the open plains, or whatever you did back home." Although his expression was still sour, the swordsman's overall disposition seemed to have improved noticeably now that they were actually out and working toward their goal, and the jibe carried an undercurrent of camaraderie, although bringing up Colt's home dimension was pointedly callous. As usual, the temperamental masked man was bouncing back from his outburst of anger more quickly than his more moderate teammates. He looked over at Grim. "No point in distracting them with my boyish good looks, though. Have at it." The sweeping gesture indicated the youth center and managed to convey a subtle sarcasm. -
Man, that woulda been a lot less embarrassing a lapse if I hadn't immediately been pulled away from the site for a few days... Alright! Jack going to toss Sprig a DC 33 Feint then Power Attack 5 (1d20+13=15) Oh, yuck. Do I need to reroll that, Darius? He's also turning on either his Detect Energy or Detect Magic, whichever his Awareness tells him is appropriate.
-
Power Attack 5. (1d20+5=13) Woof. Too used to fighting with caps shifted the other way. Even flat-footed, that misses Dynamo, doesn't it, Geez?

"Intimidating?" Even with his habitual lack of expressiveness, Trevor's tone conveyed mild surprise. The dark haired teen's brow furrowed slightly as he considered. "Hadn't noticed." He supposed Summers was imposing in his own way, but he'd honestly found the headmaster reasonably welcoming.

Frank huffed, his barrel of a chest stretching his suspenders as it rose and fell. "Absolutely even the villains. Just because you were robbing a bank or building a giant freeze ray didn't mean you couldn't have class." The tailor shook his head in disgust. "Not like now, with these punks with powers just looking to do as much damage as they can, getting into fights for the sake of it." A faint smile pulled at the corner of Trevor's mouth. "Rose tinted glasses?" he suggested mildly, suspecting nostalgia was playing a part in Frank's assessment. The elderly man opened his mouth to deny it, but ended up sighing instead. "Maybe so, maybe so. Still."

"Ah, I have... family in France as well," Trevor noted as he walked smoothly next to Eve, his longer stride allowing him to keep a languid pace. He considered the diminutive telepath with a sidelong glance. "Your first time Stateside, then." His soft tones made it sound more like a statement than a question, but a subtly lifted eyebrow encouraged the new arrival to speak more about herself.

Jack snorted as he rolled his eyes ceiling-ward to address Archeville. "'Social club'? Like you didn't send Avenger over just so you'd have an excuse to visit Mo'." He looked around the room and shrugged. "What? I would have. Or are we pretending not to know you two are, y'know, wink wink, nudge nudge." The swashbuckler waggled his eyebrows and prepared to fend off a swipe from the statuesque paragon. The slightly mad doctor knew perfectly well how intense Jack's training regimen was; frankly the fencer felt as though he were being lectured by an absentee landlord.

Although his expression remained impassive, the look in Trevor's domino mask covered eyes softened subtly at Mark's confusion and ultimate resolve. The minor irritations of the days were put into stark perspective next to the Lucas scion's trauma. The soft spoken youth, having his own reasons for wanting the world returned to its proper condition, placed a hand solidly on Mark's shoulder with a brief nod before silently turning to make his way down the stairs.

Realized the I hadn't actually put these up here, so: House of L Edition! We've got the Kid Midnight costume, plus the outfit Trevor actually ends up wearing in-story, along with Hell-Ion, the handsomest prince of space! And, hey, since people asked: Midnighters group shot. Played around with the sizing a bit; Atlas should be even bigger, really, but the resolution just didn't support it. Maybe he's hunching. Also: tiny Phantom is tiny. Avenger's got more than a foot on her!

It's Dark Star and Fleur de Joie! Guess which one was harder! G'wan, guess!
-
What he said! Jack's up for it, and Ellie can always make an appearance as appropriate.
-
Oh, sorry, I thought Fleur was up. It's on my list.
-
It panned out! With the rest of the Midnighters for extra credit.

Frank gave Erin a look a mixed amusement and wry self-deprecation. "Just how old do you think I am?" he asked around an easy smile, adjusting his suspenders with mock vanity. "I've been at this, oh, sixty some years now, but I was only starting out around the time those bloody ingrates started hunting down the heroes instead of the real crooks." The tailor's eyes unfocused as he thought back, a trace of remembered frustration passing over his face. "Had the so-called law knocking on my door more than once. 'Are you now or have you ever been,' etcetera, etcetera. Pheh." Listening silently nearby, Trevor's countenance clouded over subtly. The original Midnight had been perhaps the most prominent hero who continued operating well into the fifties in defiance of the government crackdown on vigilantism. The witch hunt was still a sore topic in the Hunter household, and his grandfather's conduct a point of family pride. The idea of family friends being persecuted as well, obviously didn't sit well with him. Shaking his head, Frank came back to the present. "My father, though, Frank Senior, he was around back in the heyday." Making his way to the counter at the back of the shop, he sat down and folded his hands over his substantial girth. "Back then, folks'd take a minute to take off their hat and jacket before a fight, even the super types. Gentlemen's agreement, see?" He gave the two teenagers a level gaze over the top of his pez nez, nodding sagely.

Hey, Jack doesn't have a full five ranks of Inspire for nothing! It's not his fault that the team's been in like three on-screen fights total since forming.
-
Heh, thanks guys! Had to get those out of my system last night; they were knocking around my head all day at work, and I couldn't sleep once I got home. I could probably be persuaded, Doc! I actually just got a neat idea for 'Head, so I'll play around a bit and see if it pans out.

Trevor coughed, covering an aborted chuckle. That certainly summed up what he'd casually observed of Faith and Mark's relationship. "She can be... focused," he agreed, phrasing his response politely, although the corner of his mouth twitched subtly, and his surface thoughts conveyed faint amusement. "Mark tends to leave an impression, regardless. How do you know Faith?"

Jack glanced between the manic speedster and the white haired girl, only privy to one side of the conversation. "Telepath...? Pfft, careful not to get lost up there," he advised off-handedly with a glance toward Dynamo's head. Moving the stand next to Dead Head, he tilted his head as Avenger's sparring partner introduced himself. He gave the zombie a gesture noting that his question had been answered. The swashbuckler's expression settled into a mild smirk as he observed the varied group, trying to get a read on each of them in turn.

Jill gave Lynn a flat look, craning her neck backward to regard the diminutive shapeshifter down the length of her nose. "Uh, ohmigod, yes?" she replied emphatically. Much of the teenager's good cheer was restored; her naturally dry demeanor was simply overcome by her excitement at being in a superhero team's headquarters, getting a guided tour. He bounced up and down slightly on the ball of her feet, displaying a tendency to stay in motion at all times which apparently ran in the family.

Trevor gave the laser cutter a look, brow furrowed slightly, before wordlessly replacing it in his belt. Frankly he'd been hoping to have the door open by the time the rest of their small group arrived, and the fact that asking nicely had been very nearly as expedient as his more stealthy entry was one more annoyance on a growing pile of irritations. He gave Chris a flat glance when 'The Raven' reiterated the very course of action he'd suggested while on the orbiting spaceship, but again remained silent. Maintain his stoic demeanor was one of the few acts of defiance this altered reality allowed him, and he was not about to relinquish it so easily. Returning to the various pouches on his best, he produced a handful of small glass spheres filled with corrosive acid, along with a short serrated blade which began vibrating at high speed when he thumbed a button on its clock-emblazoned handle. Turning back to the physics defying door, the white lenses of his domino mask narrowed as he prepared to renew his careful dismantling.
