  2. Tiamat maintained eye contact with the other Erik for a moment, letting go of his shoulder without really leaving his personal space. "Assume less," she advised, crossing her arms. "To hit that much space like that would take...an incredible number of Grue," mused Gaian Knight, scratching the back of his head. He was looking upward, trying to remember how many planets and colonies they knew about - on this world, at least - and quickly gave up trying to do the math. "At least here, their tradition against stronger foes is more infiltration than outright invasion until they've already amassed power and can seize control. Do you know how or were they got the raw force to hit that much territory that quickly?"
  3. "With your consent," Natalia added, slowly, "we could probably find someone who could...help." She wanted to lean against the doorframe. The doorframe was probably filthy. She did not lean against the doorframe. "Someone who might know what you are better than we do, without wanting to kick you out. It wouldn't hurt for someone to know you're here in case you need assistance. It's a thought, anyway." "Better a quality expert than...I don't even know." She traced a dismissive finger through the air at shoulder height. "Idiots with little boxes of dubious ghost-hunting science, or old men with incense and twenty pages of spirit-be-gone apocrypha."

  6. Minor math: I think the "medium" grapple there would be 19 (9+5+5), not 18, though I don't expect it would come up much. In the top sheet, I'm afraid I count 82pp of powers, not 81pp. The Powers line is missing the cost on Slow Fall, I believe, as well.
  7. Gaian Knight let out a sigh of relief, and with immediate crises well in hand he let the arch behind him collapse back into the earth - directly into the earth, even, falling through the grass itself as if it had never existed. He did catch Patriot's look, though, and glanced back to Tiamat as well. "Gently, please...?" he muttered. It only took her a few strides to move over and clap a hand down onto Dark Star's shoulder. "We should give her space to work," she said, slowly and firmly and worryingly pleasantly. Her grip was not gentle. Had her teeth been that pointy a moment ago? Boy that was a lot of teeth. "You should step back over here, and not bother her." "...and tell us more about the problem you're facing," interjected the Knight, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Of course we're happy to help if we can, but we can't promise anything without knowing more."
  8. "Mm-hm," said Gaian Knight; he'd already shifted slightly, digging his feet into the ground as he felt out what he had to work with. Not that the rock and soil under Freedom Hall should be changing all that much, but in this city you never knew.... "Hopefully Fleur got an alert from the alarm they tripped; if not, Patriot - ah, our Patriot," he corrected, gesturing off-hand at their liaison, "may be able to reach her on comms." Even as he'd talked bits of earth and stone had started leaking upwards around the perimeter of the Hall's grounds, and at a gesture they flowed en masse, surrounding the lawn with a castle wall - complete with a gate at the main entrance, just in case. "Otherwise," he said, drawing a smooth stone operating table up near their patient, "I can make a gate and someone can go see if she's on Sanctuary and available." Not that he was going to wait on that; a stone archway was already forming behind the group - though, notably, on the League side of the group, and he didn't seem inclined to light it up until Tiamat had broken her glare at Dark Star long enough to go stand guard.
  9. "Well, you certainly made an entrance." Gaian Knight and Tiamat had been closest to the door, which even on the former's reflexes made them first outside - or, at least, first of those who needed to actually use the door. Other options were a luxury neither of them could indulge without property damage. "Not meaning harm is a pretty good plan," he added, taking stock of their visitors. The woman in the Centurion's colors got more of a glance than most, though he didn't do more than frown briefly in surprise. "If you did mean otherwise, you'd have picked one heck of a day for it. What can we do for you?"

  11. Minor math thing: with a +6 Melee attack bonus, the Grapple would be +12, not +14. The extra +Accurate on the claws sadly doesn't apply here. Tracking grapple bonuses is one of the worst things about the system - on behalf of the designers, you have my apologies for having to deal with it. As a minor typo: your "Feats" line says you've bought 21pp of feats, rather than 20. The total down at the bottom of the sheet looks like it's correct, though. Additional Limbs 1 with one feat would cost 2pp, not 1pp. That said, you've already bought Improved Grapple up in the Feats section, so you don't need to buy it again. You're over-paying for the super-senses, I think; breaking it down per feature, and assuming you're buying Acute for the full olfactory/hearing sense types (Accute is cheaper if you buy it for a single sense, rather than the entire category): Super-Sense 15 (Feline Senses; Acute Scent [2], Acute Hearing [2], Darkvision [2], Extended Scent 1 [1], Extended Hearing 1 [1], Low-light Vision [1], Scent [1], Tracking (Scent) 1 [1], Ultra Hearing [1], Ultravision [1]) [15PP] That's 13pp out of a 15pp budget, so you can throw some extra senses in there or spend the point elsewhere. I think you're short-changing yourself on that Telepathy since it's effectively double-flawed; I would build it as: Telepathy (Feline Communication; Flaws: Limited to Emotions, Limited to Felines) This would get you 2 ranks per 1pp spent - not a huge difference, but you never know when that extra rank will come in handy.

As a special holiday treat for everyone, all your November posts got counted whether you put them up in thread counting or not - though for those of you who did get them up on time, it was very much appreciated, as it makes counting far, far easier. There's a reason we request it of you! As always, if you believe something went awry in your counts, please reach out. "Heck yeah! Go Team Danger!" cheered Liz, grinning from ear to ear. She'd changed suspiciously quickly, ducking into her little pod for only a moment, but the clothes were probably mundane - old denim and a worn-out t-shirt, perfect for maintenance and getting dirty if she had to. Not that it was too likely - she wasn't much of a mechanic, and was perfectly happy to deliver tools and help move parts. But every pair of hands was a help, and she didn't think she could get away with a clone surrounded by all the other participants. Speaking of... "Probably best to be subtle," she said to a tailpipe, on the assumption that the tail she'd seen disappearing into there was what she thought it was. "No sense spoiling the show, you know? And we wouldn't want to be accused of cheating or anything."

Liz nodded as she disembarked the truck, but didn't respond immediately; instead she stood still for a moment, stretched, and bent her back in a way that probably should have hurt. "Mmhh," she said. "Sorry. I don't know about you, but I kept hitting little bumps and I think my spine's about an inch shorter now. I don't have a lot of inches to lose!" She flashed a grin, turning her attention back to the tents and a worrying expression on Davyd that she wasn't going to think about for too long. "Camping in style!" she said, turning back to the truck long enough to pull out her personal bag and lock up. "Lemme stash my stuff and I'll help out wherever I can."
  17. "Jenny," Natalia greeted, in about as respectful a tone as most had ever heard her use; she was still standing on the wall, though the siren song of pizza was enough to get her to start walking her way back down to ground level. "No beer, no wine. How very law-abiding. Though, probably for the best - if Ryder ever drinks I want a recording for blackmail, and blackmail's only good if only I have it." Going too near the floor would mean bringing her face too near the floor, and that was clearly unacceptable; she hopped off instead, drifting the rest of the way to the ground. "As for music," she deadpanned, "we'll have to be careful, since our supply of music is clearly limited and we only get one shot at this." She held the flat expression long enough to grab a slice of pizza, then paused. "Or," she said, looking up with an entirely artificial sense of discovery, "we could just start playing random samples of music and ask the ghost what they like, since this is all supposedly for their benefit." She leaned slightly toward Jenny. "There's a ghost," she said, biting into her pizza as if the rest was self-explanatory.
  18. "Gross! Super gross," said Masque, following the others through the door and circling around to one side of the room. She didn't want to be the direct center of attention in this fight...but then, who did? "Your pets? Super gross. And, if I'm honest, I think we're feeling positively outnumbered. So here's a trick!" She snapped her fingers, plucking a top hat out of thin air and placing it, tilted, on her head. "Straight from the streets, an old favorite," she said, twirling her staff; the mask was all grin, eyes aglow with mischief. "Keep your eye on the queen!" Everyone in the room - every ally not invisible, anyway - flickered and split, surrounded by a copy or two of themselves that kept moving just out of sync with the original.
  19. Purely for the bookkeeping, Masque's stunting an area concealment (mirror images): Concealment 10 (all senses; Extras: Affects Others, Area (General Burst); Flaws: Mirror Images (cannot go unnoticed); Feats: Selective) [31/44pp] Not sure how big that combat space is, but if needed she'll use the remaining points to extend the area.

"Aw." Liz feigned a pout, turning partway toward the others as she gently swung around a bit of rock. "I want to be big and fast. A semi would be too big, but a truck like this? With the extra wheels and the big booty. Lots of storage space for stuff." She flashed another grin, turning her full attention back to the road as she evened their course back out. "Though some people do have some pretty fancy motorcycles. Do you think they let people borrow them? Not for long, you know. Just for a bit." She pondered that for a moment, extending a finger out in thought. She didn't sound too serious, but... "...do you think they'd mind as long as they got it back in one piece? You know, like, really mind. Do you think there would be trouble."
  21. "Hmmmmm." Masque was leaning on her staff, a series of uneven question marks scrawled across her face. "If you can banish her, then maybe that seems like our best shot? Anyone who can help you do it can help you do it, Invisigirl can keep you ought of sight, and everyone else can just...do whatever possible to mislead her or lay into her while you work. Sleight of hand, you know?" She had a queen of hearts in one hand, which she'd pulled from goodness-knows-where; she twirled it around her fingers and it disappeared, reappearing with a small flourish in the hand that held her staff. "Keep her eyes on the hand that isn't doing the tricks until you can finish up the show."

Elizabeth really wanted to hit the gas and peel out as quickly as the truck would go, but she probably wasn't allowed to and it seemed very disrespectful to drown the competition in a cloud of dust, so she only did it a little bit. A little bit of dirt. Not her fault, right? They'd have to catch her to stop her, anyway, and she was pretty sure she hadn't actually gotten anybody, which meant she had a clean conscience and an ear-to-ear grin as she swung the truck around toward their destination and set as fast a pace as she thought she safely could. "I need to drive more big trucks," she said, still grinning. "I could keep all my magic stuff in a truck like this. How fast do they let you go on Freedom City streets? How fast can you safely go?" She paused. "How fast can you not safely go?" she added, still grinning.
  23. "It would make sense." Natalia had kept calm pace with the spirit as it fled through the pictures, with a posture somewhere uncomfortably between 'studying' and 'stalking'; when it fled upward, she simply turned and walked straight up the wall, stepping where she wouldn't disturb anything worth preserving and stopping a healthy distance from the roof. "Ryder did notice it because of the music." "If it is part of the church, I suppose collective song would be...filling? Magic is not my area," she added, waving one hand in a dismissive gesture, "but that sounds appropriately mystical. If it isn't actually a part of the church, but it feeds on song or prayer or whatever, a church isn't a bad place to live. It would be one of my picks." A beat, and then, "Not my top pick, of course," she said, as if admonishing the spirit. "I don't know who would pick a church over a concert hall, but I suppose you go where you need to."
  24. APPROVED!
  25. Natalia stopped her 'sweeping' as soon as she saw Ryder's head cock; it really was very retriever-like, and just like a retriever it was important to know if he'd noticed something shiny, or if he was going to try to make friends with something that stung or bit. And so she made a fist, crushing the her pile of trash into another compact ball as she strode over to get a better look. "Cricket, what-" She could immediately feel a headache coming on. "A painting," she said, incredulous. "Cricket. We've been here, what, less than an hour and you've made friends with a painting."
