Tiamat nearly snarled as Fleur de Joie came under fire, and for a moment her teeth were a lot pointer than anyone's teeth had any right being. "I get what you're going for, GK, but don't you really think you coulda saved that for when there were less of them around? Hey! You lot!" She cracked her knuckles, striding into the group of mind-controlled cops with apparent disregard for their weaponry and training and laying down some punishment, rapidly and efficiently taking each man out...sometimes with the man next to them. "You people had your heads messed with, and I'm real sorry about that," she growled, looking for all the world like she really wanted to enjoy the brawl and just couldn't, "but you can't go shooting at people who are trying to help."
-
Teagan's going to take a move action to surround herself with squishy humans, and then start punching. She'll use Power Attack -2/+2, and take 10 for an attack 'roll' of 17 (10 +9 unarmed -2 power attack). DC24 Toughness until somebody makes a save or she runs out of folks to punch.
-
"Nice," Gaian Knight complimented - apparently to both women's accomplishments - as the rest of the cops advanced. He was pretty sure he could take out the people who were still standing...but that wouldn't be likely to leave anyone to talk to, and it wouldn't hurt to at least try to neutralize someone without knocking them out. Well, unless they shot him. That would probably hurt, but at least it wouldn't be the first time. The earth mover's hands glowed with a soft golden light, and the ground under the sheriff twisted upward like it had come alive, reaching and flowing across his legs. "Not to point out the obvious, but if the milk's doing this to people we have a whole town full of trouble back there."
-
GK could probably mop up the rest of the cops, but that doesn't sound very fun. Or useful! GK snares the Sheriff (or ties, anyway): Ranged Attack Roll vs. Sheriff (snare) (1d20 + 12=26) DC22 Reflex. GK's trying to anchor the Sheriff at the very least - if the Sheriff really bombs the save, he'll go for the full Obscure Senses.
-
"Bomb is disarmed," Mara called back. She'd de-armored before going back outside, as 'Dragonfly' wasn't really supposed to be there - no sense in inviting any more trouble than they'd already found. "Already transported remains to HAX for proper disposal." close enough to true - might as well be there - relatively speaking no further from there than here "Should be okay to let people back into their homes, do any necessary final sweeps of building. Would not let anyone into crawlspace before proper chemical team performs checks, though. Just in case."

"Let's just discuss things before anybody does anything regrettable," Gaian Knight insisted in as diplomatic a tone as he was capable, holding up his hands and addressing the building and the police both. "We've already lost one person, let's not lose any more." He rubbed the back of his neck, sizing up the building and silently wishing there were fewer guns about. "I remembered Benjy, but a contest and some...ah, anti-establishment leanings seem a little too-" "Lots of people hate the law and folks with power," Tiamat supplied, frowning. She'd put her untouched milkshake down - if the strangeness of frozen drinkables hadn't been odd enough, the sour milk nearby certainly put her off consuming it. "And lots of people are 'on edge'. Most of them don't start killing. When people start killing people, something has to set them off." "Right, that. I'm with Vector, I think - Cedric, what's wrong with the milk?"
-
"It's nice to meet you, Vector. Hopefully four of us will be overkill for whatever's going on, but I'm not one to turn down help, and hopefully we can find your friend while we're at it. As for the car...." He frowned, mulling the memory over. "...I dunno. It's probably nothing, just something seemed off about it." The hero broke the platform apart as soon as everyone was off it; most of the remains just sank into the earth but a small group of stone shards floated up to hang, suspended, behind him. Tiamat's hand was resting on her mace as soon as she saw the body, but she didn't comment. "So...catch us up," Gaian Knight requested, glancing to the sheriff. He was pretty sure any of the three of them - four, if Vector hadn't been exaggerating - could get into that office, but information rarely hurt. "We're just here to help - 'sovereign citizen crap', and a contest?"
-
"Hmm? Ah, yes." Gaian Knight's attention was off on the crowd, frowning at the family that had just showed up. Fleur mentioning gunshots shook him out of it, though, and loose rocks and dirt from the surrounding area started spinning together into a simple platform big enough for two. Catherine got an appraising look before he nodded, expanding his platform out for four. "Right, well, then. All aboard - you too, Tiamat. Not really enough room on the dias for you and you know it." When three people and a (reluctant) people-shaped dragon were all ready he took them into the air, waving an apology to the rest of the town as they made their way toward the gunshots. "So," he said, carefully, "how many big rural families - from out of town - do you suppose own sports cars?"

pour energy into - what? Dragonfly wasn't entirely sure whether she was supposed to be insulted or complimented, and hesitated a moment before deciding she should probably err toward the latter. [bg=#555555]"Mmh - spatial manipulation. Bend and twist space to do...things. Lots of science. Fun to build. Wings were difficult. In theory could dump energy until 'stuff happened', but would probably tear a hole in reality. Not really an improvement on idiots with swords. Probably not good for newborns."[/bg] She glanced back at the somewhat singed lawn, and visibly cringed. [bg=#555555]"Not...as good without the suit. Had to improvise. ....owe Gina a new pressure cooker. Pretty sure I can repair the inside of the stove, though."[/bg]

I echo AA's fluff assessment - brr! But befitting a creepy mind-remolding demon. Just make sure he's played carefully. 33pp of skills is 132R - not a big deal since it's an NPC, but you have two more ranks you could throw in if you wanted (language, maybe, if nothing else - what does it speak when its Communication power is shut off, if anything? Any weird little skills you feel like giving it?). If Flight has an AP, please note the Alternate Power feat in Flight itself. Looks like you have the cost correct up in the Powers summary, but it taks a minute to see what you're doing with that array. Also note that your Super-Movement power pair is cheaper than you have written - the first power costs 3pp (2pp base + 1pp/rank extra), and the second costs 5pp (2pp base + 2pp/rank extras + 1pp feat, assuming you meant Progression [Portal, 10'] and not Progression 10 [portal]), total 8pp. What, thematically, is Detect Memories representing? Reading memories seems more like the Mind Probe application of Mind Reading, though other refs may want to weigh in on whether or not they think Detect can be used like that. Per the house-ruled descriptor frequency list, 'Holy' is an Uncommon descriptor, rather than a Common one, for the sake of this character's Drawbacks.

Gaian Knight laughed. "It's not so much the bursting I'm afraid of, Fleur," he replied, putting his hands on the front of his armor in protest. "If I fill up too much, samples and contest and all, I'll have to get a whole new breastplate made! Though maybe it'll help keep my poor stomach from bursting in the first place; if it can keep bullets out, maybe it can keep my poor belly in." "Freedom City University is a good school," he noted - a bit more seriously and with clear approval. "I'm sure they'll treat you well. Do you have a major picked out, or are you just getting your feet wet?"
-
"See, that's another reason why you can't have one," Gaian Knight quietly joked Tiamat's way, and earning himself a good-natured snort in return. She was still giving the milkshake a thorough visual inspection, and apparently didn't have time to lecture him on why well-trained food was still food. "I guess the out-of-towners will just have to stick together a bit," the hero offered, smiling and turning his attention back to Catherine as she and Fleur made their way up to the dias. "I get the feeling it'll be pretty easy to get overwhelmed around here - if we're not careful, we'll get stuffed so full of cheese and milk they'll have to roll us back out."
-
"That's very friendly, thank you," Gaian Knight complimented, carefully taking a milkshake from the tray and pulling his face cloth down to take a sip. He leaned to the side as he did so, though, to get a better view of the young woman getting mobbed. "Er, perhaps a little too friendly," he chuckled. "You folks swarm that poor young lady any more and she won't have room to breathe." "They did the same to us when we came in," Tiamat pointed out - she took a shake of her own, but rather than drinking she held it up and dubiously peered at it. "You take your diary very seriously, I think. It should make for a good festival."
-
"'Tiamat' when the mask's on," the woman confirmed, giving Fleur a strong and surprisingly respectful handshake, what with the grief Gaian Knight had just been getting. "Not that I have a whole lot to protect, but it's the spirit of the thing, I guess. Sorry I haven't flown by to talk - I've been busy getting up to speed. Phones, computers..." "The fact that cars aren't dangerous, people-eating monsters," Gaian Knight interjected. "That happened once," Tiamat countered, sniffing like she'd been stabbed right in the dignity. "It was a perfectly reasonable mistake. Anyway, we should sit down sometime - I want to know how I can help. I don't like the idea that I'm...'freeloading'."
-
"Aw, come on. Just one." "No." "They'd never miss it." "Yes they would." "Give me three good reasons." "The cows aren't yours, you'd spook the locals, and you don't actually want one - you're just trying to get a rise out of me because you're bored." Teagan Delphyne didn't dignify that with a response - mostly because she didn't have one. Rather than admit her friend was right, the tall redheaded woman just snorted and stretched her arms over her head as they made their way through town. "We could have flown you know," she pointed out, the red eyes behind her domino mask taking in the area. She actually kind of liked it - it was nice and rural, and reminded her a little of home. "It would have been a much better entrance than walking." Tarrant McLeod - Gaian Knight - chuckled and shook his head, sticking his hands in the pockets of his coat. "I don't think having you swoop over a little town in all your scaled glory is really the impression we want to make. Maybe next time. Hey, Fleur!" One of the hands came out of his coat to give his teammate a wave as he made his way onto the dias. "I see you brought a little guest - or are you throwing a mystery judge into the contest?"

Tagging this before I forget it (because I'm me and that's a thing I do).

Fixed up the math a little (no powers changed, but it looks like the final pp total line was out of date), moved Subtle up into the array structure itself so that the array powers are 20pp (which is all the array can give them). :approved:
-
I've tweaked a couple notation things - none of the powers themselves changed: - Deflect has been updated to clarify that you're deflecting all physical ranged attacks, not all ranged. - Immunity has been updated to clarify that you have environmental immunity to, say, heat, not immunity to all heat-based powers (which is possible, but would cost a lot more!). Your character is currently under-budget (and the summary line at the bottom and your Powers: line are off). You have: Abilities (34) + Combat (26) + Saving Throws (17) + Skills (5) + Feats (8) + Powers (57) - Drawbacks (0) = 147/150 Power Points ...which gives you 3pp left to spend. I recommend at least a rank of Luck (hero points are delicious things, especially when you're starting out), and/or a boost to that Fort save (unless there's a strong thematic reason you're keeping it low). Up to you, though - the points are yours to play with!

Solar Sentinel (PL 8) - Thunder King (Silver)

Defining carrying capacity with that level of detail is fine! Just very unusual. Looks like everything else checks out now. :approved: -
Character un-archived at player request. Welcome back, Magic.

That's...interesting. The JVM running out of memory could just be a memory issue or setting. The BSOD and sudden shutdowns are a little more concerning, as is the fuzziness. Was your system overheating?
