  1. Reflex Save vs. AoE, DC20 (1d20 + 8=25) Woo! Toughness Save vs. Area Attack, DC20 (1d20 + 9=12) D'oh. Going to go ahead and reroll, which she can't possibly fail. For lack of a better target, Wraith's going to go mind-stab Argo. Melee Attack vs. Argo (Psionic Blade) (1d20 + 12=26) I...don't actually know whether or not that hits! DC23 Will, if it does.
  2. Initiative Roll (1d20 + 7 =14)
  3. Tagging this thread so that I don't forget about it later.....
  4. The Math: Base defense 2 means a Flat-Footed defense of +1, not +0. You have 56 ranks of skills, not 64, though the pp cost is correct. Corrosion is a Standard action - flawing it to Full-Action is a -1 flaw, not a -2. The pp cost is correct, however. The Fluff: I like the concept overall! I have some very grave concerns with the 'Bred to kill' complication, however - there are countless examples in the superhero genre of heroes who are potentially dangerous to others in the wrong circumstances (say, an atomic-powered hero whose suit gets breached), but being an explicitly, ravenously lethal threat to everyone around you under a reasonably broad set of circumstances (including, possibly, being knocked out - what happens to the swarm when its leader is unconscious and can't direct them?) isn't very heroic. Other refs may want to weigh in there in case I'm just being too cautious, but I'm not sure the barely-restrained threat of directed lethal damage sits right with me.
  5. Mara muttered dark things about some federal agencies being too stupid to know the meaning of 'blast radius', but she was largely happy to have let Erin do the talking - just because she'd gotten better at dealing with people over the last couple of years didn't mean she enjoyed it. Besides, wasn't having other people around to do the unpleasant things one of the perks of having employees? With Steve on the street and Erin upstairs, Mara stayed on the ground floor to help direct people outside...and to make sure that nobody was trying to sneak their way downstairs. With a possibly unstable chemical weapon and at least two layers of lies, she wasn't inclined to take any chances.
  6. I count 21 ranks of skills, and the Knowledge (Life Sciences) bonus is a little off. Otherwise, though, good sheet!
  7. Mara was the last one downstairs - being the boss had its perks, but it also meant having to make sure people knew she was going to be gone, making sure Tress could pick up the slack on her personal projects, a quick check to make sure her...private lab was still secure, and at least one instance of getting caught in the elevator with someone who had some question or another. Chemical weapons were starting to look pretty good, really. "Okay." Her hair had escaped again, and she unconsciously brushed it back with one hand. "Let's go. Before some idiot gets there first."
  8. Mara made a groaning sound like her brain was dying, having put her head in both hands as soon as Andretti had started talking. what "Covered up existence of exotic chemical weapon with stories of Grue warhead?? Not going to make villain activity less likely. Might cover up your own liability. Imagine that." She took a deep breath, pulling herself back upright and dragging some hair back behind one ear. "Yes. Okay. Will clean up after your mess, for their sake, not yours. Going to need to leave...hours ago, probably...mmh. Erin, Steve - get anything you need. Have to collect some things, and will meet you downstairs. You," she added, pointing at Andretti, "can go downstairs too. Receptionist will give you paperwork."
  9. :approved: Note that per the house rules, you aren't compelled to specify circumstances that keep you from resurrecting - all Resurrection purchases are assumed to have +True Resurrection. If you want it for flavor, though, we're fine with that; just something to keep in mind!
  10. Double-check your math on the Abilities pp cost - I count 28pp, not 32. Looks like the math was correct at the very bottom of the sheet, just not up in the abilities summary itself. Please note his base grapple, in addition to the enhanced strength version. The Tactile sense comes with +Acute built-in - no need to have it on the Detect Radiation power if that detect is tied to the Tactile sense. Taking Acute out will get you 1pp to do something fun with.
  11. This sheet is being archived as a newly-submitted character rebuild was approved; the rebuilt Willow can be found here.
  12. :approved:
  13. Re-check your grapple bonus - should be (Attack 8 + Str +4 + S-Str 2 =) +14, or +22 when using the Enhanced Strength/Super-Strength array setting. +2 Base Defense and +4 Dodge Focus means a Flat-Footed defense of +1. The math on saving throws is right, but Will should be listed as "Will: +6 (+1 Wis, +5)". Alternatively, if you wanted Will +7, you'll need to scrounge a point from somewhere. I've updated the format on your powers a bit to make it easier to read. You do not need an extra to stack Space Travel 8 onto Space Travel 1. This stacking happens automatically when activating that slot of the array. Similarly, Super-Strength 4 automatically stacks onto Super-Strength 2 when activated, granting you an effective Super-Strength 6; this plus the enhanced strength would be a heavy load of 24 tons, if I'm doing my math correctly. Super-Strength 2 gives the character an effective strength of 28, heavy load 1,200 lb. Please list the pp costs of your powers alongside those powers, in addition to the tally at the top of the powers section. The range of a rank 8 Blast effect is not 80 feet, but rather ten 80-foot range increments - maximum range 800 feet, at a cumulative attack penalty for each range increment. Or you could just list 'Ranged' for the power's range in your DC Block.
  14. [bg=#555555]"Mmh. Will help."[/bg] Dragonfly unceremoniously walked up to grab one of the unconscious swordmen by the ankle, dragging them closer to the rest and all but tossing the unfortunate sod onto the pile. [bg=#555555]"You,"[/bg] she added, pointing an accusing finger at Jack, [bg=#555555]"are about have a baby. Or, she is. Whatever. Go do...father things. Tell them we're okay. See your baby born. Will probably be in to join you once we clean up and make sure we aren't bleeding or leaking radiation or something."[/bg]
  15. Mara kept her peace as Agent Andretti spoke, unusually respectful but predictably dour as he went over the history of the problem at hand. idiots - "how do we make this chemical deadlier" - "pump full of cosmic radiation!" - wonder there's still a country "Mmh. Exotic weapon disposal is...an unadvertised service," Mara pointed out, tilting her head at the barrels and mentally disassembling them. "Something we do, but not often. Assuming you know the ground rules, but going to repeat them - no misunderstandings." The young inventor tapped a finger on the table, turning her gaze back on the would-be client. "Will clean up after your mess, but it will be gone. You don't get samples, parts, salvage. You get data on disposal methods only after - if - we review and decide data can't be reverse-engineered to make better weapons. Not negotiable."
  16. I've moved this question to its own thread. 'Supernatural Creatures' might be a little too broad if it includes things such as vampires and ghosts, yes. Other refs may want to weigh in here, but note that the examples of suitable enemies make a distinction between, say, undead and demons. These are both supernatural creatures, but they're considered their own distinct categories.
  17. Now that she had a moment to breathe - and wasn't a terribly squishy human nearly toe-to-toe with superhuman fencers - Dragonfly took quick stock before turning her grim face plate back on the mage. Nearly everybody seemed to benefit from having power back in one form or another, and she wasn't awfully inclined to be stuck in a powered-down suit of metal plates.... She deployed her wings, the four immaterial, blade-like constructs pulling her back to a safeer distance; even as she moved, though, twisted space wrapped around an outstretched arm to fly toward the mage, lest she feel abandoned. If she could just keep the caster off her toes so that she didn't bring that spell back up....!
  18. Dragonfly spends a hero point to waive her fatigue, and backs off from the fight a little (though she stays close to the ground, just in case she loses power again!). Ranged Attack Roll vs. Hexcrafter (blast; Power Attack -2/+2, All-Out Attack +2/-2) (1d20 + 11 - 2 + 2=13) ...hm. No. Ranged Attack REROLL vs. Hexcrafter (blast; Power Attack -2/+2, All-Out Attack +2/-2) (1d20 + 11 - 2 + 2=17) Better. +10 for the reroll is 27, which should do. DC28 toughness for the Hexcrafter. That's -2 HP, and Mara's at -2 defense until the start of her next turn.
  19. "" Indira admitted as they made their way toward the bus - she and her double were both making a rather obviously deliberate, careful effort to maintain a couple feet of space at all times. They were back to speaking that weird, liquid language again; if nothing else they both seemed more comfortable speaking it. "" "" Indivar replied - or hummed, it was hard to tell for some words - looking a little surprised. "" They stood in silence for a moment, two sets of black eyes sizing up this world's somewhat less odorous bus. "<...if we are able to touch without killing each other, we must spar.>" ""
  20. Initiative Roll (1d20 + 7=9) Stupid human body.
  21. Indira's counterpart wasn't hard to pick out, being the only tall, handsome Indian boy in the room; if there was ever any doubt it was dispelled the moment they spotted each other. In almost perfect unison they both blinked twice, their eyes becoming pure, featureless black for just an instant. "Hello," the Prime variant greeted, bowing a bit with her hands together. She had to wonder: did her counterpart consider his world 'Prime'? Her gender-swapped version did the same, following with a quick...something in a fluid language that was clearly not English. Indira blinked again, smiling and replying with more of the same - whatever it was sounded a lot like a formal or traditional greeting. "Ah - I am Indivar Singh," the teenager finally said to the other newcomers, repeating the greeting gesture - if not the definitely-not-English bit. "Welcome."
  22. APPROVED
  23. Grapple bonus should be +11, not +12. The Terrasuit is over-budget; 4+1+6+1= 12pp, in a 10pp device. You're paying for four APs in your Lunar Vampirism Array, and you only have three listed. Given the math on Concealment, I'm guessing it's All Visual Senses, Normal Auditory, All Mental Senses? Probably want to make the Auditory part explicit. You also appear to have an 'Insidious' hanging off the end - if that's the descriptive name of the array setting, rather than the actual power extra, it's missing a ). Typo on 'trackless'. Don't forget to flesh out your DC block - Unarmed should be the damage you do when just punching fools, and it's missing the Paralyze.
  24. Hmm. Toughness lists +4 Con, +6 Protection, +10 Impervious, but Powers list +10 Protection, no Impervious. Where's the Impervious coming from? Might be worth re-calculating Knockback, when you get that sorted, too.
