  1. Elizabeth laughed; it was a pleasant sound, her whole upper body moving to the beat of it. "Not everything, just, you know, enough. It makes for a wonderful challenge, doesn't it? Gets you into a lot of trouble, though!" She grinned, catching up to the dancing she'd lost while laughing. "You and Eira aren't fooling anybody and it's adorable, it really is," she said, sincerely. "You two really need to figure it out, though, or the gossipers are going to scream. Or take dire measures?" The girl thought on that one for a moment, looking up at the ceiling as they danced. She did spare a glance to the spider, then, a blink as it shuffled off into hiding. "....I'm not sure which would be more fun to watch. Probably the dire bit, but I don't think Eira would like it much and I'm supposed to be a good friend. Maybe she just needs a push?"
  2. It may be worth noting the attack bonus for attacks you'll use most of the time, up in the combat section, so that you don't have to recalculate them a bunch. Something like, "Attack: +8 Base, +10 Blast" or the like. Each rank of Accurate gives you a +2 attack bonus; with a base attack bonus of +8, that Blast power would be +12 attack and +10 damage, which breaks combat caps. I recommend dropping one of the Accurate ranks and either not spending that point, or spend it on something else. The snare is under-capped meanwhile, at +8 attack / +10 'damage'. I'm not going to make you bring it up to caps, since you have other attacks that do fine, but it's worth keeping in mind that it'll be hard to hit with it.
  3. "Ooh, confidence! That is attractive." Elizabeth flashed a playful smile, heading out onto the dance floor with ease and good cheer. "It makes for a great showman - or a good mark! Just make sure you're stealing the cheese and not dropping it from your tree." Elizabeth was not a well-practiced dancer - she'd never had the stamina for it as a child - but she learned fast, she was reasonably well-coordinated, and she had the controlled enthusiasm of someone determined to enjoy herself as much as possible. For the rest, she was happy to let Pan lead. "Obviously they don't see everything, we're very good and they can't be everywhere at once." She grinned a grin of a couple years' mischief, a bit of white hair falling in front of one of her eyes. "But assuming they see nothing is a good way to make the bad kind of trouble. I'm not saying don't, just, you know, not directly in the middle of a prom dance where a bunch of boring adults who already know what we can do are actively watching us for things they're too boring to let us get away with. I bet they'll put up with pranks, but I bet they'd come down hard on anything really fun, so you probably want privacy if you're going to...." She paused, a frown flickering across her face. "....I was going to make some kind of computer pun, but that seems rude. You know what I mean."
  4. "Oh yes, very ironic!" Liz seemed genuinely enthused, eyebrows up in...support? "Ironic dates, ironic dancing, ironic kisses...." Her grin had entirely too many teeth. "You'd better stop at ironic kisses, though! There are too many students who can turn invisible, I bet the staff can see right through it." She paused, ticking a finger back and forth as she ran that one back through her head. "....well. You know what I mean. I'd love a dance!" She flashed a bright smile, setting her punch cup down on the table and holding a hand out Pan's way. "Since you're very attracted to him and also only here ironically, you can enjoy some ironic jealousy, and I'll enjoy myself in the meantime."
  5. Knockback looks good now. I might be missing some application of Indirect, but no, I don't think it does much for you. I'm happy to be corrected if someone knows something I don't, though!
  6. Solid sheet overall! A few things, feedback-wise: Combat Double-check the math on the Knockback Resistance. The low-end is correct (+1 Con, /2 = -0 knockback), but the high end is affected by the Force Field; with +5 Impervious Toughness and +5 Non-Impervious Toughness, Blackstaff would have (5 + 0.5*5 = 5 + 2 = ) a -7 knockback modifier at his sturdiest. Saves Please note how much of the character's toughness Impervious, here; it's very useful for quick reference and will save you and your GMs a lot of time. Feats I count 15pp of feats, rather than the listed 9; this also puts the character over-budget. Powers You're over-paying for that Magic Awareness; 'magic' is a very common descriptor, and per our house rules on powers Awareness of a very common descriptor is 3pp. Acute, Radius, and Ranged are 1 rank (1pp) each when applied to a single sense, so that'd be Super-Senses 6, costing 6pp. Looks like the formatting on the Pentacle went a little wonky; should read 'Flaw: Range', rather than just 'Range'. I'm not sure what Indirect will do for you on Move Object; Move Object isn't really a directed power (that is, it can already do things like move objects toward you or in odd directions). I may be missing some application though?
  7. Elizabeth followed Kam's gaze with open curiosity, taking another sip of her drink. "What, the fake one you were talking to just before I showed up for punch?" She had an eyebrow up in genuine surprise, as if she hadn't considered that other people might have thought he was a real person. She'd been practicing that eyebrow; she was pretty good at it now. She had not been practicing remembering that other people did not always have her super powers, like knowing when something wasn't real. "It wasn't a real Leroy. It wasn't magic, though, so I don't quite know whose fake Leroy it was? I try not to ruin other peoples' acts if no one asks, and I don't really keep track of the non-magic tricky types." That gave her pause, and she tapped a finger against her chin in thought. "I probably should keep track of the non-magic tricky types," she observed. She'd make a list later. "But for now, I mean, take your pick. And we're in the Doom Room, so your pick is basically anyone if it wasn't a more first-party thing."
  8. An unusual application of Variable Power - that would normally be an array - but it'll squeak by as long as it isn't abused somehow. APPROVED.
  9. 'Robo-American', I like it. Combat It's worth noting the attack bonus on the Blast power here, since I assume you intend to use it a lot. Powers Please adjust the formatting on the arrays; the Character Sheet Template has examples. Right now it's a bit hard to parse. What is the limit being applied to the Positronic Brain immunity? Half effect? I'm a bit curious about what the variable power here represents. Is the character actively rearranging her own brain?
  10. "Hmmm!" Elizabeth tracked Judy's exit with arched eyebrows, taking a sip of her punch. "That's going to be trouble," she said with the grin of someone who was looking forward to trouble. "Fun trouble? Bad trouble? Oooh, prom trouble...." It took her a moment to return to the here and now. "Oh! I'm a junior," she answered, belatedly, flashing a mildly embarrassed smile. "I, um, had a lot of homeschooling before Claremont, for some...health reasons. You know how it is. My parents did their best but I was behind in a couple areas so I'm maybe a half a year back from where I should be? It's not too bad; I'm in no hurry to leave. I love your dress too! I cheated with mine," she admitted, conspiratorially, a transparent illusory thread spiraling through the air around her upturned finger, "but I always respect people who can find the real thing that looks so good on them."
  11. Shogun should probably note the imperviousness of his toughness in the Toughness line, lest it be forgotten in the heat of battle. I count 34pp of feats, not 33, but it's a long list so please do double-check and keep me honest. Shogun's paying 8pp for 10 ranks of Impervious Toughness.
  12. Combat With a base defense of 7, Kensei would have a flat-footed defense of +4, not +5. Feats Monkey Climber seems fine by me, though it's not on our formal approval list; I'm checking with the rest of the ref team.
  13. "I can confirm that it's genuinely not very good," said Elizabeth from behind Kam & Robin, eyebrows raised over a grin as she wiggled an empty cup. She was wearing a flapper dress, to nobody's surprise - sleeveless and blue, with pleasing art deco designs down the full length of it in sparkling silver, and ending above the knees in a fringe that swished as she walked. (She liked the swish; she was figuring out how to make it swish more.) Her makeup was subtle but flattering, with silver eyeshadow to match the outfit. She'd come stag, to some personal disappointment; her practice of fun dates and no long-term relationships apparently had its downsides, but she was determined to enjoy herself, and enjoying herself started with swishing and drinking punch. "I think I might have been disappointed if it had been too good," she mused thoughtfully, refilling her cup. "I feel like it should be part of the experience, you know? And you're Robin! Hello! You two are the cutest couple here," she added, in a conspiratorial stage whisper, "but don't tell the others I said so."
  14. Well, March was a fun month, wasn't it? Stay healthy, stay safe, and let's see 2020 through. Maybe, if we're lucky, someone out there will finish that game of Jumanji.... As ever, if you have questions or concerns with post counts please don't hesitate to post them here or reach out to the ref team via forum PM or Discord. alderwitch Janus Danger: 3 posts = 1pp Bombshell: 3 posts = 1pp Nighthawk: 0 posts = 0pp + 2 (vignette) = 2pp angrydurf Ace Danger: 0 posts + 1 (GM) = 1 post = 1pp + 1 (ref) = 2pp Empyrean: 8 posts + 2 (GM) = 10 posts = 2pp Kanunu: 9 posts + 1 (GM) = 10 posts = 2pp Red Lynx: 10 posts = 2pp + 2 (vignette) = 4pp Sagrado Corazon: 2 posts = 1pp The Unbreakable Kronk: 2 posts = 1pp GM: 2 posts *2 = 4 Ari Parhelion: 28 posts = 3pp Squire B'Ka: 4 posts = 1pp Mag-Might: 1 post = 1pp Salmon: 0 posts + 12 (GM) = 12 posts = 2pp + 1 (guide) = 3pp GM: 6 posts *2 = 12 Avenger Assembled Angelic: 54 posts = 4pp Watchdog: 14 posts + 12 (GM) = 26 posts = 3pp Sea Devil: 0 posts = 0pp + 1 (ref) = 1pp GM: 6 posts *2 = 12 Azuth65 Gauss: 2 posts = 1pp Hazmat: 2 posts = 1pp Bourbon Thorn: 4 posts * 2 (new player bonus!) = 8 posts = 1pp Cubismo Ms. Thursday: 14 posts + 2 (GM) = 16 posts = 2pp GM: 1 post *2 = 2 Dr Archeville Artificer: 7 posts + 3 (rollover) = 10 posts = 2pp + 1 (20Q) = 3pp Horrorshow: 24 posts + 2 = 26 posts = 3pp Protectron: 1pp + 1 (guidebook) + 1 (ref) = 3pp Doktor Archeville: 5 posts = 1pp EternalPhoenix Terrifica: 1 post = 1pp + 1 (ref) = 2pp Waverider: 6 posts = 1pp Exaccus Venomax: 3 posts = 1pp Facsimile: 2 posts = 1pp The Jovian: 1 post + 4 (guest star rollover) = 5 posts = 1pp Dreadnought: 4 posts (guest star) Fox Eclipse: 0 posts = 0pp + 1 (ref) = 1pp Masque: 5 posts + 5 (rollover) = 10 posts = 2pp Wraith: 5 posts = 1pp Grumblefloof Dirge: 5 posts = 1pp Mister Strix: 6 posts = 1pp Octoman: 22 posts = 2pp Persephone: 3 posts = 1pp + 1 (guide point) = 2pp Santa Muerte: 4 posts = 1pp + 1 (reputation) = 2pp Heritage Crystal-Gazer: 22 posts = 2pp Miracle Girl: 3 posts = 1pp HGM Shock and Awe: 1 post = 1pp Argonaut: 9 posts + 1 (rollover) = 10 posts = 2pp Dalir the Dashing: 6 posts + 6 (rollover) = 12 posts = 2pp Foreshadow II: 20 posts = 2pp Glamazon: 0 posts + 10 (rollover) = 10 posts = 2pp + 2 (vignette) + 2 (vignette rollover) = 6pp Roulette: 0 posts + 1 (rollover) = 1 post = 1pp Hellhound: 0 posts + 2 (rollover) = 2 post = 1pp Kaede Kimura Shadowborne: 29 posts * 2 (new player bonus!) = 58 posts = 4pp + 1 (vignette) + 2 (HellQ) = 7pp KnightDisciple Raven III: 2 posts = 1pp + 1 (guide) = 2pp Thunderbird: 19 posts = 2pp RocketLord Archer II: 2 posts = 1pp Cheval: 2 posts = 1pp Forever Boy: 23 posts + 77 (GM) = 100 posts = 5pp + 1 (guide) + 2 (vignette) = 8pp Justice: 11 posts = 2pp Little Mermaid II: 0 posts + 3 (GM) = 3 posts = 1pp Rebellion: 2 posts = 1pp Spaceman: 1 post = 1pp GM: 40 posts *2 = 80 secondling Legatus: 8 posts = 1pp Spacefurry Paper: 4 posts * 2 (new player bonus!) = 8 posts = 1pp Tarrakhash Chromium: 6 posts = 1pp Delta: 2 posts = 1pp Thevshi Paradigm: 5 posts = 1pp Synapse: 34 posts = 3pp + 1 (vignette) = 4pp Tsunami: 1 post = 1pp Veronica Danger: 21 posts + 24 (GM) + 5 (rollover) = 50 posts = 4pp Squire Kath’lana: 1 post + 35 (rollover) = 36 posts = 3pp + 1 (ref) + 1 (vignette rollover) = 5pp GM: 12 posts *2 = 24 Tiffany Korta Emerald Spider: 10 posts = 2pp Madame Raven: 6 posts + 4 (rollover) = 10 posts = 2pp Ms Bright: 2 posts = 1pp The Immutable Betsy Brooks: 2 posts = 1pp The Traveller: 1 post = 1pp + 2 (guidebook) = 3pp Valkyrja: 5 posts + 2 (GM) + 2 (rollover) = 9 posts = 1pp White Lioness: 6 posts + 4 (rollover) = 10 posts = 2pp Zhenshchina-voin: 10 posts = 2pp Miss Grue: 3 posts = 1pp Revenant: 6 posts = 1pp Triakosia: 1 post = 1pp GM: 1 post *2 = 2 Torpedo Lass Levity: 4 posts = 1pp Wyverntamer Knight of Earth: 6 posts * 2 (new player bonus!) = 12 posts = 2pp Zeitgeist Blue Salvo: 5 posts + 12 (GM) = 17 posts = 2pp GM: 6 posts *2 = 12
  15. This sheet has been replaced with a new version; this copy is being archived.
  16. Wraith (maxed) Phone a Friend (5) Masque Cosmic Love (5) Assuming my counts are correct, please roll Wraith's posts over to Masque to bring her up to 10 posts / 2pp. If they are not correct, please split them evenly between Eclipse, Grim, & Gremlin so that they each get 1 post / 1pp. Ref point to Eclipse, please.
  17. Looks like Bear's super-senses still need the note that they're normal-only; otherwise APPROVED! since I trust you to fix it and you can get a head start on the next ref review.
