Wraith "I am not," said Indira, with the polite-but-firm tone of someone who'd been subjected to a very rude accusation. "Daphne is a good friend, we share a...unique perspective, and I value that very much, but I am something else." She smiled, but her eyes were solid black - overlarge and reflecting no light. "We have a lot in common." The young woman blinked and her eyes were normal again, pleasant and human and certainly not space-monstrous. "As a word of caution," she added, leaning in with voice low, "I would advise against suggesting that people are Grue. Individual Grue are good or bad, and we like Daphne very much, but to most they're better-known as violent tyrants and it is, at best, impolite." She pulled back, still smiling. "But! It is a party. We were Claremont students, yes! Just a few years ago, in fact, though it seems both longer and shorter somehow...to me, at least." She laughed, lightly, turning to cock her head at Mali. "I cannot speak for all. Does it seem so recent, Mali?"

"I'm pretty sure she said your dad was wrong," said an Elizabeth, concern in her voice. She knew a button to push when she saw one. "Do you normally date people who think your dad gives bad advice?" said the other, who, unsurprisingly, also knew a button to push when she saw one. "That seems super rude. And I don't think you do like us?" Elizabeth Left was still on guard, crook staff held ready but business-end-down, but the other was leaning on hers, hanging from one hand while she wagged a thoughtful finger with the other. "You're mean to basically everyone you meet because you think they're going to steal Micah, who's, you know, cute, but he doesn't have five whole girls hanging off him. No offense, Micah!" She did seem genuinely apologetic as the other picked up where she'd left off. "We've been nice to you, and only really got rough when you did the thing with the spooky eyes and spooky voice because that's some mind control weirdness, and if you really liked him you wouldn't need that."
-
Wraith "I do not know Pan," noted Indira, politely apologetic. "He smells slightly odd, but I cannot place it. Perhaps my new friends will know more; if you are asking, it must be important." She smiled too, lips pulling back across a mouth that was quickly less 'teeth' and more 'bear trap'. "Important questions deserve good answers," she advised, eyes black and featureless. "I will leave you to answer them carefully." "Hmm." Indira hadn't been there a moment ago, and it would have been difficult to see her arrive, but arrive she had - all but popping out of nowhere near Mali and Davyd. She'd chosen her approach carefully, blind spots notwithstanding; she didn't want the teen to feel like he was cornered, but she didn't want him to feel like he wasn't cornered "You must be Davyd," she concluded. She cocked her head, hands clasped behind her as she openly studied him. "We've heard about you. I...do recommend staying more true to your age at this party, just in case, though Daphne might be glad to hear you've been practicing."

Just realized that it may not have been clear - I edited Wraith's action into her most recent IC post back on the 28th.

Wraith "I think it looks very nice," assured Indira. She hadn't been hovering, necessarily, but she'd made it her business to make sure all their guests were settling in well enough, and she'd made sure to stay where she could track as many people as possible...including young women who looked nervous going into bathrooms. She was dressed casually, slate slacks under a white button-up shirt with its top buttons undone - a dark purple tie hung loose as well, implying that she hadn't been long home from work before managing guests. It was a small but continuing blessing that she didn't need sleep. She smiled, cocking her head to the side to get a better look at Mia's hair. "It is very modern," she said, nodding. "Very...fierce? I do not think it would draw negative attention from anyone whose opinion mattered."

Moving to the archive; this sheet has been replaced by a new version.

Nah, s'fine. If anyone should be able to grapple, it should be the octopode. APPROVED!

"I didn't tell her," defended an Elizabeth, looking as offended as possible for someone caught saying things she shouldn't oughta. "I may have made an...insinuation." "Implied," agreed the other. "It wasn't my fault! I had some bad intel. Maybe read too much, you know? Mostly I was hoping to knock some sense into Micah." The first Elizabeth shook her head, frowning back toward Micah himself. "You've known her for a day, Micah. One day! What kind of new friend would immediately try to turn you against other friends? That's...not a healthy start to a relationship. Isn't social isolation one of those warning signs they talked about when we had the Very Special Class about staying safe in relationships?"
-
Yes, good catch; my fault for calculating it as a power and not as a combination of base effects. APPROVED!

Just some minor math things, here: Skills I count 88 ranks of skills, rather than 84. Powers Disintegration is normally a standard action, so moving it to a full-action attack is only an Action 1 flaw, not Action 2, which also puts this power over-budget for its array. Costs Your costs as-listed only add up to 149/150pp, but given the skills cost, above, that may end up evening out.

Wraith (maxed) Hydra the Queen (4) Masque Cosmic Love (10) Every Choice We Make (3) Ref point to Masque, please. Split the 4 Wraith posts, 1 each to Eclipse, Grim, and Gremlin. The fourth post is buffer in case I miscounted.

Elizabeth looked at Micah. Elizabeth looked at Ashley. Elizabeth looked at Ashley's gun. Elizabeth looked at Alice. Elizabeth looked at Judy. Elizabeth looked at Alice's eyes. Elizabeth had a lot of questions. She reached behind her back and pulled out a long crook staff that could not have possibly been hidden there, taking a half-step to the left; she also took a half-step to the right, and the Elizabeths gripped the cloth wrapping at the center of their staffs tightly as they eyed both Alice and the gun. "Please don't fight in here," said left-Elizabeth, very slowly and carefully. "It's so nice," agreed right-Elizabeth. "Maybe we can do this peacefully, without what's probably brainwashing or mind control?"
-
Wraith will....not do much! She'll play escort, and she'll interpose for any attacks that get aimed the Atlantean prisoners' way.
-
Well, this had gotten tense pretty quickly. Elizabeth stepped slightly to the side, and couldn't stop one hand from dropping to her hip where an innocuous mask token was hanging off her belt. "So, you know, speaking of newness," she said, keeping a careful eye on Alice, "I was really hoping it was nothing but I found them in the first place because a beam of light came down from the sky? And there's a little burning crater in the roof up there. I figured, maybe a new kid's showing off, and maybe that could be some fun trouble, or they'd just really gotten into each other and someone had literally sparked something, which could also be fun. But then I went up there and found, um...." She gestured at Micah and Alice a if that explained a lot, which in fairness, it sort of did. Her off hand never left the surface of her mask. "My dates cancelled on me and I was really hoping it was just that lovely blush of new love, but Micah, she has you acting kind of spooky."

This is an interesting and inventive descriptor; I like it. General As-written, this character can break caps by stacking Space Control's BP (Strength +20) with Space Movement's AP (Strength +4). Active powers with different extras/etc. normally don't stack especially well, but passive powers that primarily modify attributes probably would; there would be some deeply odd partial extra applications, but more on that in the Powers section. Saves Toughness and Fortitude are listed as +5 Con, +5 Enhanced Con, but this character has +1/+10, not +5/+10. Powers How does the 'forgettable appearance' feature work? What in the physiology mutation causes that effect? Enhanced Strength with the Area extra would not attack everything in range, it would give Enhanced Strength to everything in range (though without Affects Others, only the power's user would ever be a valid target in that area). If you want a power that does damage to things, you'll need to buy a Damage effect.

Wraith stared at Octoman for a moment, and then her three black eyes slid across her face to look at Miss Grue. "I am almost certain that is English," she said, hesitating. "But if you are here to help and can aid us in getting these people to safety, we would be grateful." Her form flowed and warped, once more becoming larger and more crustacean - thin, spike-footed legs and extra tendrils and all. Drawing in the water to do help offset her mass continued to be uncomfortable, but if it would help her shield their escapees, so be it - she would owe herself a thorough scrubbing once they were home. "Come," she said, gesturing at the Atlanteans with a great clawed hand, then toward the exit. "The longer we wait, the more danger we are in. Let us leave while we still can." As they left the temple, she took quick stock and immediately put herself between their Atlantean wards and the ongoing chaos. Aquaria had that under control. ....right? "Please move faster," she said, ushering the Atlantean's onward. The longer they were out, the more likely they were to be noticed or hurt.

"Sure!" Elizabeth flashed a smile, looking up from a gentle inspection of one of the flowers. "You know me, always happy to lend a pair of hands, or two. I've never done much gardening - it might be an adventure!" She stood back up straight, glancing to Alice for a half-second, still beaming that smile. "And if any of you need anything, any help, you'll know where to find me. Please don't hesitate if anything comes up."
-
"This is Alice," said Elizabeth from behind the new lovebirds; she was smiling, but the air above her briefly lit up with three neon interrobangs while Alice's attention was elsewhere. "She's new, apparently! Just showed up, so we're showing her around and maybe having her meet new people." Who could help Elizabeth figure out if she was crazy. "We thought the gardens would be a good place to start!" Pre-occupied or not, she did at least stop to peer around at the garden, stepping around to cast grey eyes across the pair's hard work. "And we were right!" she said, suddenly distracted. "You've done some nice work!"
-
Elizabeth held her hands up, as if warding Alice off. She was smiling, still, and she even laughed a little for all that she took a half-step back. "Relax!" she said. "It's okay. I'm not trying to attack you or anything. But everyone wants more friends, right? Even the people who say they don't want more friends, want more friends. If you're new to the school, then the more people you know the better-off you'll be, I say." She flashed that grin again, wagging a finger in the air. "Besides. Even if you are good enough for Micah, it can only be better if his friends know it too, right?" Or they could help Elizabeth figure out if the new girl was crazy. "No girl talk here, it's not like I have a stake to defend. I think the gardens sound lovely, though - I think you'll like them, Alice. Shall we?"
-
Inside, Elizabeth was screaming. A flash of light and second later Micah's dreamy-eyes at some strange girl nobody had ever heard of. That was normal, and fine, and almost certainly not some kind of crazy magic or mind control or...people making weird smitten choices on Valentine's Day. Would she have done better if a cute pilot had appeared out of nowhere and ran their fingers through her hair? Was that a chance worth taking with all the weird stuff they all saw all the time? Was it...pranks? She probably shouldn't interfere in fun pranks. She definitely shouldn't interfere in new love. She definitely should interfere for danger. She...could interfere if this pilot girl was a troublemaker, and maybe get back in the staff's good graces after the thing with the spaghetti? "There is some pretty great stuff on campus," she confirmed, grinning and sticking her hands in her pockets. She wore the shameless expression of someone who was inviting themselves to a party. "Do you know anyone else here? They could put in a good word for you with Micah!"
