Not a lot of fluff here, but I give it a pass strictly on the pun in 'Vohl-Turr'. Because where else do bird-villains come from? Abilities: The pp doesn't match the scores purchased - looks like you bumped Vulture's Con up from 16 to 18 and the math got lost. (I do this so, so much myself....) Powers: Visual Dazzle costs 2pp/rank; plus the Area, it'd be 30pp, not 20pp. Did you intend to flaw this down to touch-range?

Combat: Protection modifies your knockback, like any other Toughness bonus; this character would have Knocback: -2/-1. Feats: I count 18pp of feats, unless I'm missing something. Powers: Damage 1 with a +1/rank extra and one feat costs 4pp, not 8pp.

Indira seemed to watch Daphne's stunt with near-professional interest, eyes voiding out to black again to watch her arm stretch its way out. "I have not seen many of your kind shapeshift in person. I am a bit...what is the word, envious?" she admitted, cocking her head. Her left hand tightened its grip on her long cloth while the right snaked out, extending toward Avro to grace him with a second dose of spot-satisfying attention. The hand remained human, certainly, as did the arm still near her body...but everything else had become clean silver metal, like someone had pulled her limb in twain and installed mercury in-between, smearing the colors where the two met. "I can obtain the length, of course, but I am limited by my caste. I have always wondered what it might be like to control color so well - it seems like it would be very useful."

Indira made an odd and amused - if entirely malice-less - humming noise, and took a moment to openly size Kimo up. "I did not mean to imply that I could not be taught," she clarified, politely, "and I did not mean to claim that you are not good enough at teaching. My concern was more practical. A...how did you say it, 'big moke'?...like you can surf very well, and I do not claim to be an expert in physics, but I believe I outweigh you by at least one hundred pounds." She shrugged, smiling as if it was entirely normal for less than six feet of athletic young woman to weigh almost a fifth of a ton, and as if this was an entirely normal thing to talk about. "I do very much look forward to watching everyone surf, however. I may join others in the water if they go; I do not get many chances to swim. And, no food for me," she quickly added, holding up a hand. "I am not vegetarian, but my diet is unusual; I believe Kimber brought something I can eat if I do get hungry. Do let Aquaria and I know if you require fish, though; I do not know what is in the area, but if it is here we can catch it." She glanced over at Aquaria as she spoke, just in time to catch her applying fish oil, and made a slightly embarrassed face. "....I do promise that any fish we bring you for eating will have been handled with care."

Combat: A +10 initiative bonus is listed, but I can't suss out the source - +4 from Dex, and +6 from where? Likewise with the grapple; +8 base attack, but a +9 grapple. A phantom +1 from a previous iteration of the sheet, maybe? Powers: You can probably get some points back on the Quickness by limiting it to one task (a -2 flaw, Limited: Hacking), unless you also intended it to apply to things like Craft or Disable Device, in which case...a character can train themselves to manipulate objects at 500x speed? -
APPROVED!

Fluff: Some minor typo/formatting notes: “Superâ€, the nest stage of human evolution, The Red Rats powers. Powers: For the purposes of review, break the Adaptation power down for me? The actual Adaptation power in Ultimate Power is a 6pp/rank full-action ability, which makes the Action 2 flaw odd; if you're using the base Variable Power, it isn't clear what you've bought it at since it only goes up to 8pp/rank and you've apparently bought 10pp/rank before applying flaws and drawbacks. Final Tally: While you do have 200pp of things purchased, the final tally would actually add up to 202, as you've listed 54pp of Combat abilities rather than 52. This appears to hold across both the normal!Rat and smart!Rat sheets.

"We tend to keep it on the...'down low' as well," Indira assured the young man, turning to smile out at the social antics of the others. She blinked, twice, a sort of unconscious reflex...but in the space between the blinks her eyes were solid black voids, bereft of even the reflection of the remaining light. "It is easier for some than others, I think, but that is why events like these are so wonderful. One can relax, meet new friends, and know that everyone has something in common, even if everyone is so very different." Her smile widened a bit as she turned back, good-natured amusement colored by a tiny hint of friendly self-depreciation. "I think I will have to pass on the surfing lessons, however. A swim is tempting, once it is darker, but I am afraid surfing is not a skill I would be able to learn."

Oh, for gods' sakes...you don't have the best luck, do you? Or I'm just an idiot. I'm going to operate under the assumption that I'm an idiot. Lord Steam's sheet did get edited...the old, archived sheet, because the link I used to get to it was old. I'll get edits on the new sheet post haste, and correct the reward tracker link. Again, my sincere apologies, Supercape!

"Something like that, perhaps," supplied a final arrival, the last to cross the dune - though it didn't appear to be entirely her fault. She was hardly struggling, but even sticking to somewhat rockier areas her bare feet seemed to slip into the sand a bit deeper than they should have, as if bearing slightly too great a weight for the granular surface to easily support. It was entirely too slow for the creature she carried, certainly: the little russet manticore was too enamored with the sights and sounds of the sea to remain held, issuing brassy protests and petulant struggles until set free from the dusky-skinned woman's grasp to run free across the beach. Indira's swimsuit was perhaps slightly more conservative than Kimber's or Eve's - to say nothing of Aquaria's - but the simple, broad two-piece in her signature purple complimented her athletic frame well, letting her body speak for itself with a minimum of silver-trimmed fuss and nicely complimented by a floral-printed sarong that she'd tied at her hip to sweep down toward the opposite knee. She completed the look with a wide and translucent lilac cloth wrapped loosely around her back and upper arms, nearly diaphanous in the wind - which was odd, for those who knew her, as it almost certainly meant the item was made of actual honest-to-goodness fabric. "I did not mean to overhear," she smiled, a pleasantly-accented and impeccably friendly apology that none the less implied she tended to accidentally overhear a lot. "Everyone is alien to someone, I think; it is simply a matter of getting to know them."

Flintlock and Doctor Warp have been corrected; unsure what happened there. It's correct in my notes but I apparently can't do math. My sincere apologies - the awards post and appropriate sheets/tracker have been updated. I've double-checked my notes for the other totals, and I believe they should be correct - I think you were my last counts for that batch, Supercape. So sorry. If anyone else notices any errors, please do bring them up. As for Starshot, I disagree! Vignettes of 1000+ words get 2 points, not 1. Even discarding the title, I count that vignette at just shy of 1200 words.

Character Name: Alice Ishikawa Power Level: 8 (8.5 w/ Sneak Attack) (180/180PP) Trade-Offs: +4 Attack / -4 Damage, +2 Defense / -2 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 0 In Brief: Young sneak-thief without a sense of purpose. Residence: Bedlam. Alternate Identity: The Gremlin (pejorative) Identity: Secret-ish. Birthplace: USA Occupation: Thief. Affiliations: The Fix, assorted Bedlam criminal groups Family: Estranged (mother, father, brother). Description: Age: 21 Apparent Age: 21 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Japanese Height: 5'1" Weight: 110lb Eyes: Brown Hair: Black/Brown When she was a child, she dreamed of being the tall, classy cat burglar - elegant, curvy, and devastating. It wasn't in the cards. Alice Ishikawa is a lot of mischief packed into just over five feet of body (five feet one, she'd insist), and she manages to leverage a surprising amount of strength and stamina out of such a slight frame. A lifetime of good training and diligent attention to her health (in service to her profession) has rendered her fit, acrobatic, and flexible. As second-story work is not typically a daytime activity, her skin tends to be on the fair side, though she's somehow managed to get this far without earning many obvious permanent marks or blemishes. She keeps her dark hair short, largely for practical purposes, not coincidentally framing her delicately-featured face and complimenting a pair of equally-dark eyes that manage to be as sharp as they are playful. Her personal fashion demonstrates a fondness for old t-shirts (often of bands she's never heard play), odd accessories (apparently on pure whim), and reliable footwear (even if she could scale a building in sandals or heels)...unless she's working, in which case her clothing is close-fitting, durable, disposable, unmarked, and darkly-colored, with as much skin covered as possible and any sleeves or pant legs tied down with wrappings or tucked away where they can't interfere. History: Alice's life has been nothing if not defined by theft, even from birth. When a lab accident at Mr. and Mrs. Ishikawa's research station threatened the latter's late-term pregnancy, the over-funded and under-supervised military group in charge were only too happy to provide medical care. When their new child presented otherwise-inexplicable abilities, said group was entirely willing to take the child to a remote facility for testing...and somewhat less willing to give her back. She wasn't going to change the world, but with proper training perhaps she could have been molded into quite the asset. It was a sentiment that the criminals of Bedlam shared. When a cargo ship pushed its luck too far and fell out of local protection, its raiders expected valuables, drugs...but not a young metahuman on ice ("secured for transport", as decreased funding had called for the consolidation of various off-the-books facilities). At first she was a novelty, but once they realized what she was capable of she was a tool. Need something stolen? Send the kid to do it, worst case is she gets killed or captured...and while the former never happened, the latter became something of a game between the leaderships of the various Bedlam powers. Who's got the little gremlin now? What's she after, and what can we use her for if we catch her? Even she lost track of how many times she changed hands, but while she liked some "employers" more than others her age and upbringing left her feeling that she was without better options. Teenagers, however, are notoriously harder to control...and stealthy, teleporting teenagers doubly so. Eventually she tired of games and being ordered around and stole herself, vanishing into the city as soon as she could do so without angering anyone she couldn't handle. Since then, bereft of other purpose and knowing little else, Alice has worked freelance: if you need something stolen, if you need a sneak-thief or second-story artist, put the word out. Maybe the gremlin's bored. Personality & Motivation: Alice has few problems taking orders and frankly enjoys her work, but operating at the behest of a long series of handlers and thugs (not to mention being a constant outsider and red-headed stepchild) has left the young woman somewhat ill-equipped to pursue her own passions, if she even knew what those passions were...outside of her craft, which she continues to hold to a high (and proud) standard. She can take care of herself, but doesn't know where she fits in with the world at large. Her obedience should not be mistaken for blind servitude. She expects a certain level of disrespect and discrimination but blatant disregard for her person or autonomy will be met with sass and equal disregard for the interests of her would-be employer. Even on the job she is playful, mischievous, and impolite. Powers & Tactics: Alice is of the opinion that if fighting has started, something has gone very, very wrong and her best option is to get out of dodge. She's a reasonably-skilled hand-to-hand fighter and carries a collapsible staff for utility and personal protection, but both are weapons of last resort when working; get in, go unnoticed, and get back out - no getting caught on cameras, no getting seen by guards. If truly necessary she'll allow for the latter if it's a half-second of pre-unconscious panic as she descends on one she can't circumvent, but one of her hard rules is never, ever any killing - it invites more trouble than it's worth. Surprisingly few know about her teleportation, considering; she uses it sparingly and at some point she just became "the weirdly effective thief asset" instead of "that weird metahuman girl", especially among the lesser powers of the city. Alice prefers it that way: the fewer who know her secrets, the better they are at getting her out of trouble when she needs them the most. Power Descriptions: Alice's one and only super power opens temporary windows in space: these perfect but short-lived ellipses allow her to jump to another nearby location she can see. Complications: Family: Alice's parents don't know what came of her, but they're still out there, somewhere, and could be used as leverage. Missing Asset: It was a while ago now, but Alice was, theoretically, a military project - and likely not the only one. Records are scarce (curiously, acquiring and training children is not popular with many higher-ups who get wind of such things) but somewhere out there may exist a group or groups who'd love to reclaim their investment. Reputation: She never held membership with any of them, but many gangs and organized powers in the city at least know of 'that little gremlin', and very likely used her on a job at some point, somewhere. Opinions may vary, depending on performance and whether she was used for or against them, but among those in charge she's a known factor and her teleportation is unlikely to be a surprise to anyone very highly-placed. Sticky Fingers: Alice just...really likes taking things. She really likes taking things. Presented with the opportunity during a job, she's hard-pressed to not acquire goodies on the side if she thinks she can get away with it and it won't harm anyone she doesn't think has it coming. Teleportal: Alice's teleport is, in fact, a teleportal: she creates a window in space and either moves through it, or moves it around her. This makes it useless for getting out of grapples or bindings, as she can't be selective about what does and does not get teleported. Huzzah! Very sneaky, very slippery. The Sneak Attack on offense does weird things to her caps, but she's still within bounds for her slot, and it's appropriately thematic. Otherwise the sheet mostly speaks for itself; she's kind of freakishly competent, but I guess that's her thing? The knife is strictly for utility, really; it's useful to someone who's dealing with a lot of ropes and theft and whatnot, but I don't expect her to ever use it in a fight unless she's desperate. Unsure if I'll keep the picture on the final sheet submission. I found it pretty much randomly, when trying to sort out hairstyles, and liked it - the internet says it's Aya Ueto, a Japanese actress. I'm not a huge fan of using real-life pictures on my own sheets (I always feel like I'm appropriating someone else's face....), but it seems to suit the character pretty well....

The dogs seemed to find something extraordinarily amusing about Winifred's phrasing, but it only got a confused glance from Matt, who glanced up at the nearest one with a well-articulated "...whuh?" They shared a look for a moment, some unseen communication running between them before the boy blinked and barely suppressed a groan. "That's..uh. Right. Okay," he said, running a hand back through his hair as he turned back to the dual-natured scientist. "You should know that "experimenting" with someone is....it doesn't mean what you think it means. Or it implies something else, I guess; a thing you didn't really mean. So, there's that. But, music, though, I've got...." He held up his selections, a fan of surface-scratched disks in only-mostly-labeled jewel cases. "So, found the classical. Worth a listen. Got some OceanLab, they're trance...kinda good chill-out music, a taste of electronic. This one's just a cheap mix of classic rock - one of those "best hits" things, which are kind of crap but it might help you catch up a little. Figured I'd start you on Nightwish for metal - they've got a lot of symphony and opera stuff mixed in, and they've got power without being rough on the ears. The last two are...the labels fell off," he admitted, holding a case up to peer through its mostly-transparent surface as if it would give him answers. "One of 'em's some punk pop, kinda trash but I like it, gets the blood moving. The other one's....I dunno. Swing, I guess? Might've been Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Ain't really my style but I figure you gotta listen to as much as you can to find what you like."

"Naw, it's fine," Matt assured her, shrugging. "Promised the dogs I'd take 'em out by Lantern Hill later tonight, but I'm pretty much just chilling 'til then. Besides, it sounds fun - can't promise it'll help you talk to people, but music is good for the soul. Where's, ah...." He put his guitar aside, casting around for something - but one of his dogs had gotten there first, dragging an oblong wooden box out from under the bed by one worn leather handle. "Aha, thank you, Fang," the creature's master said, giving the (barely distinguishable from the others, but perhaps Matt simply knew them better?) beast a friendly ear-rub. "So." He pulled the scuffed container up onto his lap, unlatching the lid to reveal several rows of hand-labeled plastic cases, each containing a disc - presumably, his music collection. Like the rest of his few worldly possessions, it was old, second-hand, out-of-date, and well-loved. "Any idea what kind of thing you're looking for? Stuff you'd like to avoid? Relaxing music is always good. Something with some power and noise to it would probably be...whatsit...." "Cathartic," supplied a dog. Matt had his head down, distracted as he thumbed through the disks - a few already set aside - but he recognized the creature's contribution with one pointed finger. "Right, sure. But I've only got a real basic understanding of your, uh, 'metamorphosis' thing, and if you want to avoid stuff that gets your blood going I get it. Might be nice, though. "

"Eh, he's your friend too. The dogs need some sense talked into them sometimes - even they'd admit it." He grinned, giving the dog at his foot another poke; this time it did get his foot in its fangs, but the growl was playful. "As for music...eh. I dunno, I guess it depends? I listen to a lot of stuff. Bunch'a rock, some electronic stuff. Metal, sometimes, but it's not always my thing. The dogs like country, 'cos they've got no taste, and....and you have no idea what any of these are." Matt ran a hand back through his hair, brushing bangs out of his eyes as he tried to remember what his guest would and wouldn't know. He wished he at least knew music history better. "Rock's...uh, high-energy, mostly, loud. Electronic's pretty....broad, but it's all computer instruments and sounds you couldn't make without 'em. I guess. It can be really for dancing or for chilling out, depending. Country's slower, sometimes just a dude and a guitar, but it's got some stereotypes attached. Metal's...really loud and kinda harsh. And there are all these sub-genres, and...." He shook his head, pulling his foot free from its toothy canine prison. "I dunno. It's gotta be rough not knowing this stuff, but I kinda almost envy you. You get to hear all this stuff for the first time, figure out what you like. You only get new ears once, right?"

Winifred had the dogs' casual interest ever since entering the room, but now she had a few moments of their direct interest, several pairs of too-keen eyes turned her way in curiosity and better-than-animal amusement. "Intuitive," one commented, most turning their attention back to lazing around the bed. "Perhaps not wise, no. But it's fun!" Matt rolled his eyes, but they either didn't notice or didn't care. "Besides," the dog added, grinning a dog smile and with all the casual certainty of discussing snow in summer, "he cannot actually kill us. Not for very long. He could try, but he lacks the means. Perhaps instead he will learn that this world does not live by his world's rules." "Or he just goes crazy and tries to kill me," Matt pointed out, poking the animal with his foot. "He cannot kill you either," it responded, turning its head to playfully nip at his toes. "No, but it'd hurt. Sorry about them," the hook-nosed musician said, shutting the dogs up by offering a friendly ear-scratch. "I think they just get bored. If they thought they were actually hurting anyone, they'd stop. 'sides, Tin Man isn't really stupid...he'll figure it out eventually."

Combat With +14/+6 Toughness, Volt Scorpion would have a knockback modifier of -7/-3, not -3/-5. With a melee attack bonus of +14 and a strength of +5, Volt Scorpion's grapple modifier should be +19. Skills With a +5 Dex bonus, Escape Artist 10 would be a +15 bonus, not +12. Feats I may just be tired, but I think I count 38pp of feats, not 37pp. Powers You're short-changing yourself on the Drain - I'm guessing you wanted +Affects Only Objects, a +0pp/rank extra (or +Affects Objects / -Affects Only Objects), and then the additional -Limited: Electronics on top of that. Minor typo in the last AP of the Volt Amp array; looks like a stray comma. Totals Even accounting for the feat count, above, you're only spending 189/190pp here. It's fine for a villain sheet to not use every last pp, but it should be noted appropriately.

"Yeah, well, that's the dream, right?" The teenager's voice was filled largely with self-depreciating humor, but there was the tiniest vein of bitterness there, too. "Learn the guitar, learn to sing, get all the girls. Turns out it doesn't really work that way - never had much time for it, and now I'm just the weird scruffy poor kid with too many dogs." "We try to give him advice," said one dog. "Very good advice," chimed in another. "He should be very successful." "Sure. If I ever need to date a dog, I'll be really good at it. And, uh, sorry," he apologized, turning his attention back to his guest. "Didn't realize how new that stuff would be, I guess. But, yeah, at some point they figured out how to record music on wax cylinders and play it back, and then the cylinders became disks, and the disks became vinyl - kinda like plastic? - and then the disks got really small and plastic, and now we don't really use them at all, it's all just electronics and computers if you can afford it. It's pretty convenient to take your music with you wherever you go."
