Wraith made a very quiet rattling noise, casting her eyes around the surrounding buildings. "She can feel the death in this place," she explained. "All of it, down to the plants. It is an unexpected shock. You are right, however - we need to keep moving. We are drawing interest by remaining in one place too long." She put her front claws on...well, an approximation of on Ghost Girl's shoulders, considering her friend's insubstantial nature. "Ghost Girl. <Ghost Girl. Focus. We need to move, or we will get noticed and you will have more death in your head. I promise that we will mourn this world later, probably.>"

Gaian Knight's evasion of his attackers was, perhaps, not as graceful as it could have been: more out of surprise than anything, his platform spun over onto its side - and, dragging him along with it, that had put a rather solid shield of rock between the geokinetic hero and his attackers. He didn't give them a second chance; the bottom of his platform went off like a claymore mine, rock fragments splitting off with a harsh crack! and spewing forth from the lift doors with precious little regard for what was in their way. "Too many, Fleur," he replied, putting a hand to his ear and re-orienting himself within the lift's shaft. "Far, far too many. I'm trying to head down to the core to give Velocity a hand, and I keep getting ambushed. Better here than more of them down there, I guess."

Welp. Especially with the attack penalty, it looks like it's time for....MOAR AREA ATTACKS! As before, so now: DC23 Reflex, DC28 Toughness.

".....no," Dragonfly replied, a bit taken aback. She lost no ground as the projection appeared in front of her face, but she did pull her head back an inch to get some room. "Did not bring your sister. Did not expect to be recognized, actually. Didn't come on behalf of Willow, came - we all came - for Earth and other planets in jeopardy. Though, fair, Willow would be in trouble too." The armored heroine cocked her head, finally taking a step back to look the projection up and down. "...malfunctioning? You, I mean? Greater vessel? Don't mean to be rude; also unexpected. Vocal tick, difficulty maintaining clear image; focus problems? Something we can repair?"

"...unexpected," Dragonfly observed. She seemed more cautious than afraid - either this wasn't her first time venturing into the belly of the beast (metaphoric or literal), or there was something fundamentally broken in her fight-or-flight response. Possibly both. "Probably a good sign though," she added, making her way over to the hatch and, pausing to activate her force field, opening it to take a careful step outside the ship. "Could have easily killed us. Could have 'preserved' us with only slightly more effort. Not a good position to be in, but probably good for greater mission."

Wraith took to the journey less like a soldier and more like a hound, if hounds had thin ridges of spines on the sides of their heads and long, multi-jointed legs that let them stick low to the ground...and low to the sides of building and obstacles, gravity apparently no more than a passing thought as long as she had something to climb on. She was often visible, if only briefly, opting to slink and slip between shadows and cover and vantage points. "...we are...uncomfortably surrounded," she observed, having fallen back toward the group. She had only half an eye on them; she'd cocked her head, orienting the spines sideways toward a building like they were ears. "They either do not notice us or do not care, however. I very much hope it stays that way. It...<Ghost Girl, are you okay?>"

"Best squad, on me," Eclipse called out, holstering her gun again. Her tail made a click-click-click noise as she pulled it back into a more manageable length, looking with no small admiration toward the Terran's handiwork. "....well. I don't know what she eats back on her planet, but I think I want some." The Alarian laughed, turning back to address her troops as the final stragglers caught up. "Alright," she said, glowing eyes sizing morale up. "That was fun, wasn't it? Nothing's changed now that we're planet-side. Rule one: nobody gets left behind. Rule two: you know what to do if you get yourselves lost. An' I don't have time to go over fancy tactics and pair you all off neat-like, so rule three: you remember the two people I told you to look at back on the ship? You're responsible for them now. Most of you've got two eyes, so you've got one eye for each of their backs - and in return, when this is all over, they owe you a drink." "If'n you're leadin', you're watchin' all'v'us," someone mentioned; albino white, red stripes, broken Galstandard, and a smaller secondary pair of arms - Galif, maybe, Eclipse thought. "Means we all owe y'drinks." "A mathematician!" Eclipse flashed him an approving grin, idly adjusting one of her gloves. "Well done. And don't think I don't mean to collect, boys and girls. But it's alright: you're all watching me, too, so I owe you the same. So we go out, we do our job, and we take it seriously. And when we all get outta here, we throw one hell of an after party."

Couple of minor things here: typos up in In Brief ("...that grand him control..."), over in the Enhanced Strength power ("Attack Foucs"), Healing ("Stabilise"), and down in Density ("Strenght"). Base, unenhanced Grapple would be +4, not +5 (5 attack, -1 str mod). Unlikely to come up much, if at all, but the devil's in the details.

Looks good to me; APPROVED. I'll let HG come back and give the changes a once-over, just in case, rather than tossing it in the hero bin immediately.

Notice Check (1d20 + 16=34) Stealth Check (1d20 + 18=26) Bleh, that stealth check could have been a lot better. Huzzah for high bonuses.

Eclipse gave a jaunty salute as she disembarked, carelessly hopping out of a moving vehicle that was still well above the ground...though the sharp-eyed could put the lie to her attitude, as she hit the ground with a lot more balance and control than she'd put into her initial leap, tail adjusting mid-drop to ensure she hit the ground as cleanly as possible. Her gun was already in her hand when she rolled into a crouch, snapping open and charging a heavy bolt of plasma. "Should've brought the Horizon," she lamented, vision zooming in on the tower and painting it with a crosshair. "Coulda blown that thing into dust. Easier exit, too. Ah, well." She fired, flashing a grin when she saw the tell-tale impact on the emplacement's surface. "Time to play the cards we're dealt."

Well! Guess Eclipse will disembark and try to take a shot at that tower. For fun: Acrobatics Check vs. Falling, DC5 (1d20 + 10=30) ....well! I'm sure that in compensation, the rest of her rolls will be awful. And then she'll take a pot shot at the tower. Ranged Attack Roll vs. Anti-Aircraft Tower (Power Attack -3/+3) (1d20 + 13 - 3=14) I am...unsure if that hits! If it does, DC25 Toughness.

"Mara," the young woman corrected, involuntarily wincing at the use of her last name. "Meant toxicity concerns when setting up - babies and young children around, putting things in mouths, so on. For long-term defenses, perfectly viable given time to set up. Maintenance...." She bit her lip, turning that one over in her head. "Could work, sure, with sufficient time and testing. Maintenance recursion concerns - have to maintain the...'wallbas'. Or teach them to maintain each other and test very well for replication and harvesting errors. If exercise is 'non-electronic methods', could even attempt clockwork repair drones; very difficult, but robust." Mara settled her head in her hands, lights dancing behind her eyes as her drone projected a rapidly-expanding series of gears and springs. "Clockwork is fun sometimes. Difficult to do complex AI, very interconnected. Bulky. Handles novel situations poorly. Impossible to hijack, though; difficult to disable without severe physical damage or changes to universal spring constants."

"....well. Alright," Gaian Knight muttered as he found himself floating an inch off his own platform. For a moment he'd worried that his last attack had hit something vital in the hanger, but the delay didn't make sense - and from what he could see through the door to the corridor, the problem was a lot more wide-spread. Reaching up to turn on the little-used nightvision built into his goggles, he reached down to grab onto his platform and sent it towing him down the corridors that lead toward engineering. "One more reason to always fight planet-side, I suppose," he grumbled, nearly clipping his legs on a doorframe as he awkwardly turned around a corner. "Don't suppose we could politely ask these things to fight us down in a nice empty wasteland."

"Pneumatic net gun," Mara mused. One of her little drones was sitting amidst the parts and wires, little legs deployed and its great eye pointed straight up. Said eye was flickering, a translucent projection of something straight out of a steampunk convention floating above the table. "Electronics being shut down is interesting," she admitted, frowning at the projection - it twitched, a couple parts being swapped out and streamlined. "As challenge, I mean. No guarantees someone would try it again. No guarantees they wouldn't. Pays to plan. Would normally favor high-force, low-damage explosives - knock targets away, disrupt enemies, knock-up and let pavement hurt them - but most ingredients are volatile or toxic in some way." Lights danced behind her eyes, gaze unfocusing for a moment as she checked in with her drone network. They were set up around the building, inside and out, forming a cloaked security camera network that was...less complete than she'd have liked, but better than nothing. Her babies didn't operate well without her suit active, but they had simple instructions: watch for danger, physically get her attention if they saw any.

"Guess that means you; process of elimination," Dragonfly wryly noted, looking over at the Traveller. "Not exactly a diplomat, myself." She shrugged helplessly, shaking her head. "Not a skilled speaker," she explained, with the tone one might use while apologizing for something trivial. "Spent a very long time without meaningful human contact. Sense of humor is antagonistic. Willing to talk to Gorgon if I have to - will probably have to eventually - but probably won't make a good first impression. ....good luck."

Dragonfly cocked her head at the scene in front of them, biting her lip as she watched the Gorgon sculpt presumed life out of almost literal clay. unexpected "Gorgon stands to gain or lose as much as we do," she pointed out, audibly frowning. "Big, powerful, not invulnerable. May not have to negotiate or offer anything; could just make threat clear, make her understand what the Communion are doing. Gorgon wants to preserve; Communion is destroying. Hoping she has vested interest in stopping them." She shook her head, tapping a finger against her leg. "Communion poses a threat to 'baby', now, too - hard to imagine they'd pass up chance to absorb beings like these. Don't want to think too much about what that'd mean. Get little enough sleep as it is."

"Knight armor robots are gone," Dragonfly announced, swooping in flanked by her drones. Without a target their large eyes were blue again, bodies swiveling around to survey their surroundings with something akin to protective curiosity. She flexed a shoulder plate, carefully picking out a piece of shrapnel that had gotten stuck under the joint. lucky - a little more force would have pierced the first seal "Can start running groups to safety - pocket them, fly over. Leave a drone here for communication. Any injured or infirm that are priorities?"
