Im not sure its strictly necessary but in case you need it: Search bodies for clues: 1d20+7 17

Snakebite A quick spin of her gun and it was back in the hoslter under her jacket. "These guys weren't your average street thugs" she said. "Ex-military, maybe. Hired for their brawn rather than their brains, I am guessing. Still, they certainly knew Tate. Or knew of him..." She pulled them both to one side of the almost abandoned road, out of view. "Lets have a look. See if they have anything on them. Care to give me a hand?" she asked Ritterton as she set about searching the two bodies for clues...

COuld you throw me a notice check to beat the morph?

GM "Ow! Get off!" It was a close thing, but just as the "Irate Pirate" had got his lock undone, and started to pedal, Replica's hand clasped around his own. He tried to shake it off, but Replica's strength gave her grip and iron lock. "Who are you? Let me go! I didn't do it! I mean, I didn't do nothing! I mean...errr....." he shouted, wondering what to say. His panic, had, however, overwhelmed all judgement. "I didn't do what I don't know anything about!" he concluded, a jabbering mess of clear guilt if ever one could see one. "So let me go! ASSAULT! ASSAULT!" he screamed. This might have attracted more attention on a day when traffic was normal. Today, however, everyone generally had bigger fish to dry. Still, a few concerned glances were thrown the way of Replica.... Doctor North and Simmons, for their part, half fell out of the car, quite shaken up by the experience (although quite impressed!)

GM "Hmph" replied Grumpy. "ME supooooose...." he conceded, although he looked displeased with that conclusion. Grumpy about it, one might say. "You help me so far, so me do what you say. For now. But me can feel KEY getting more DESPERATE!" he warned. "KEY get more POWERFUL. And remember KEY can unlock ANYTHING!" Even Grumpy looked a bit unhappy about this. Scared, even. "And some things shouldn't be unlocked...." he actually shuddered, and his voice grew soft like a whisper.

GM "Me?" replied Sin, innocuous. It was hardly that he was playing innocent; for no cunning would obscure his crimes. But he was oozing confidence, his pulse alive with the beat of plans within plans within plans. "I was merely aiding the Duke here in his research. Cloning, particularly. He has a particular gift, and we came to a mutually agreeable conclusion" he smiled. "I'm innocent!" called out the Duke. "I just wanted to not-die!" he explained. "I can clone my body over and over again. An immortaility of sorts. But every time it...looses something. Every time the connection between brain and body seemed to be more dull. Slower. I was missing, for lack of a better word, vitality. Doctor Sin showed me how to rejunvinate the process with your lady-friends coccoon!"

GM "Hey, why are you looking at me?" he asked, befuddled. "I just do physics. And a bit of designing bleeding edge daka based weaponry" he conceded. "The best I know about all of this is watching a few James Bond films". Nevertheless, he did ponder the matter. "If you can't enter the Crocodile, maybe you can get him to leave?" he asked. "Set up a trap. A sting?"

Echohead "Oh dear! Fuh-fuh-fiddlesticks!" babbled Echohead, not knowing what to do. He waved his pistol around rather aimlessly, trying to figure out a plan of action. Then he realised. No action was the worst plan. Do something! Or Get Eaten! Put in bold terms like that, he was galvinised. The beast seems nearly mindless! If that's so, I don't need to do much to make it completely mindless! Reaching out through the air with his remarkable mutant brain, he started plucking away at the beasts mental process, although - truth be known - he was rather afraid of what he might find!

Snakebite "Ah! You say that now!" answered Snakebite, spinning backwards away from him. She turned around and fired the tranq-gun once more into the man with a gentle pffft. The small needle poked out of his chest. "But when my truth serum hits your brain, you will be singing like Aretha" she grinned, before the smile turned cruel. "It hurts, by the way. And fries your brain. But I guess you are happy with permanent neurological damage if it keeps the doctor safe?" she asked. "Of course, if you start talking now, I don't have to shoot you with five more doses...you may even come out of this unharmed...."
-
Righty ho-! Lets fire another Tranq-dart! Shifting +2 DC,- 2Attacj T Dart: 1d20+10 17 So I think that hits, for another DC 17 Fort Fatigue Effect! As Move action will try a fast intimidate Fast Intimidate: 1d20+2 11 which I doubt will work but will post it anyway!
-
Snakebite "You call me stupid?" retorted Snakebite. Wow, it was tempting to actually explain to them how they had fallen for the ruse! But she bit her tongue. "I'll never give you the journal!" she said proudly. "Now, YOU give me TATE!" she demanded. With that, she gave a quick run forward and turned into a side kick at the other man. One of these guys would surely no something!
-
Right, moving to melee as a move action, and kicking Agent 2! Kick: 1d20+12 16 well, it might hit! If it does, a DC 21 TOughness

GM It seemed that every minute, the gridlock was getting worse. But fortunately, they were there in a minute! The drive involved prangs and dents as Replica had to shove other cars out of the way. North groaned with every prang, but as he said "The Budget will cover it!" A few dents was a small price to pay. Edging round one corner, Replica tipped the car on its side, and drove one block, on the pavement, on just two wheels. To much gasps and applause. A few frustrated drivers even contemplated doing the same, but fortunately thought better of it. In Fifty-Nine Seconds, Replica had driven the WEST car to the Starbase Coffee shop. One startled young man, in his early twenties, with a T Shirt showing an angry pirate, and a laptop in his backpack, yelped in surprise. "How did you....?" he gasped as he saw the car. He shrieked, and for a moment it seemed his unruly black hair stood up straight. Credit to him, he did not pause long. For such is the effect of fear. Instead, he jumped onto his bicycle he had chained up outside Starbase. Then he cursed, and started fumbling around with the lock. A precious few seconds delay...

Taking ten again. Not sure if that IC would work, but feel free to make any rolls required!

Starshot Starshot pushed the hoverbike as far as it could go; gravitic propulsion on sands was not the easiest, he realised, and the pirate knew how to handle his bike. Keeping in a straight line, he pursued. It was an even match in vehicles, and it was only the ebb and flow of dunes that made any difference as they weaved as best a line as they could. Unslinging his blaster rifle, he waited till floating up to the top of a dune. He fired repeatedly, not really aiming but just pounding out shot after shot of recoiless energy until he descended the dune again. He didn't want to hit his opponent, but he hoped to churn up the sand. Maybe obscuring his vision would slow him down...

GM "Well we better get going then!" echoed both, almost simultaneously. One scuttle outside (at top speed) later... North was in his early fifties, full of experience. He had travelled the world and was in reasonable condition, but he wasn't cut out for running for long. He was sweaty and short of breath by the time they had ran up the stairs of the basement and out into the street. Simmons, on the other hand, had a wiry endurance that came with his spindly frame. North jogged to the car, but the gridlock was forming around them. Everywhere they could hear beeps and horns, and the sounds of irrate drivers. Whatever plan the AI had set in motion was coming to fruition. Simmons looked at Replica. "We might be better off by foot...?" he asked her. A look around, and Simmons was probably right. Unless they did some very risky and brutal driving steam-rollering through the traffic. On the other hand, the WEST car had their equipment in (such as it was) and North didn't look like he could keep pace... Other than that, they could always comandeer a bicycle or motorcycle...at least for now, they could still move reasonably freely...

Mr Murk "No, that is true" smiled Mr. Murk in return. It was unusual, dealing with an immortal so young. So unusual, he had forgotten how it went. But an immortal was an immortal, whatever their age, with the same vulnerabilities. It was true that at her age, the nuances and difficulties were yet to be experienced. But as the years progressed, it would be hard to hide.... "Do not be alarmed, I come without malice. Even if I did, I doubt I have the strength to inflict my will on you, even if I should wish it" he explained. "No, my intentions are entirely benign. I come with an offer, nothing more, and nothing less" he explained. "But this may not be the best place to speak of such matters. If I have your interest, and your trust, I would meet you where we can speak more openly..."
-
GM "Thou mockest me!, Mockest me thou does! Verily, mock----" But unfortunately, we shall never hear the next permutation of mangled Shakespeare, for his digital architecture exploded into dust data. And useful dust data, at that! The Irate Pirate was operating out of a Starbase cafe only two blocks away! On a medium spec laptop. Specs that Replica recognised and understood. She was fairly confident she could even spot the laptop make in the real world! A slight oddity, though. For although this hacker was of reasonable skill, there was nothing truly exceptional about him. How on earth had he hacked into such an advanced system? Ah! In the remnants of his code she spotted a highly advanced hacker app. Something she had never seen before. A programme so advanced that it had elevated this moderate hacker into a dangerous expert. But more interestingly, this programme was designed specifically for the traffic control AI. In other words, someone had armed this hacker. With a weapon that only worked for the traffic control system.

Just to note, Pixie has stunted Invisibility (affects others) on Grumpy and Grumpy alone (no more PP for anything else!) based on her invisibility power. It is sustained duration, so if she gets stunned etc it may be lost. For reference Puzzle Pixie - Unharmed, Fatigued. If you can think of any other cool way to get inside via sneak or fast talking or just diplomacy, go ahead!
-
GM And so...at the Chocholate Factory... The four of them set down. Although only three where visible. The invisible one, Grumpy, was still remarking on how we was, as he put it, "UNVISIBLE!". Pixie was a bit tired from placing her invisibility onto Mr. Grumpy, and was a little anxious now that she could not be invisible. But, overall, she was pleased she had managed it. The Chocolate Factory was your average factory full of butsle and hustle. Lots of men and women walking around in yellow overalls. A few walking around with clipboards. Some busy, some just trying to look busy. Getting inside would either be through the main entrance (which had a very low level of security and was for all visitors and personel), or via the delivery hangar, where all the trucks and lorries delivering raw ingredients and transporting away yummy chocolate were driving. There was no security here, but lots of activity. Or, as Mr. Grumpy suggested. "ME SMASH THROUGH WALLS!"
