  1. GM Pixie squirmed and the thought of organs squirming. Which was quite appropriate. Having your guts put through an arcane wrangler had left Alex fighting flatulence and gastointestinal overactivity for several hours. It was fortunate he did not have a cough at the same time. "Well what are you suggesting? Want me to take a sledgehammer to your pinkies?" she asked with a grisly cheeky grin. "Sounds like your mistress of bones has quite a few tricks up her sleeve. She knows her spells. You feel up to taking her on?"
  2. Echohead "I have, I think, a place of interest" Echohead said to Scarab. "And from the sounds of it, I could use the company" he added. "A club, specialising in exotic transformations of...wait...." Echohead spied the horned man and took a step back. "Mamma! What the devil...I mean...literally, what the devil!" he gasped. Surely this was a lead, but right now his Mothers Catholic Terror Stories played an umerry tune in an umerry rythmn in his cranium....
  3. So I think that is one Scuttlebot down - just checking though as I am not sure Taking 20 would be allowed whilst in combat?
  4. GM "Yeah I'd been thinking about that" replied Pixie, putting on her thoughtful face. "Maybe because he has brittle bones?" she said. "I mean, pretty much everyone there, in the mosh pit, is pretty robust, right? Young, strong. Or at least, strong boned. Otherwise you wouldn't be getting into a mosh pit in the first place" she summised. "Yet Felix, well he always had those smashed up legs, right? Never stopped him from doing anything. Bold. Kinda cute" she said, going red. "I mean...sort of kind of cute. Ummm. Anyway, he's right by the centre of the smashed bones and the spell, or curse, or whatever it did, had no effect on him. Like it didn't think it was worth it..." "Either that, or he is hiding some big dark secret mystery!"
  5. GM "Sure sure" sighed Penny, twitching her ears. "Not for regular company however. I get bored of pretending I am a Star Trek FAn who has had their ears surgically modified" she explained, a little sour at the thought. "Well I'm glasd Skulll got his justice anyway. Although I wonder what Broken Wishbone will do know...will they break up?" she sniggered, some coffee going up her nose and causing her to sneeze violently. She wiped her running nose on her long sleeved t shirt leaving an ungainly smear on the sleeve which seemed not to bother her. "Graveyard is it then? During the daytime? Doesn't sound very dramatic timing...."
  6. GM Penny Coin (aka the Puzzle Pixie) entered, fresh faced, and threw (not literally) some donuts and a hot coffee at Alex. With that, she took of her hat. And there they were, two tapered ears just like a pixie, or elf. She did appear to have that fae blood. "Whaddya find out yesterday?" she asked. "I was up half the night poking at the puzzle box. And ended up getting locked in a very strange maze. And going to a very very strange place indeed...." she shuddered. "But that's the Puzzle Box playing tricks on me. I think that I can get further inside with a key. A key of bone...." she said. "And I think I know where it might be. The top of that woman's staff...."
  7. Then we await Tiffs post to that effect! (And Frost streaming in mist form?)
  8. GM And so, the next day, more early than a sleepy head would prefer... At this time of year the sun was well risen, even in the early morning, and warm sunlight streamed into the city and residences. It was hot but a cool breeze elegantly swam through the city. A beautiful day. And Pixie was banging on Alex's door. She held two strong aromatic coffees in each hand, and in her mouth she held a bag full of most delicious Megadonuts. The ones with Doublechoccy Choc-o-chocolate cream on the outside. "Wave upfff...Schlleepyhead!" she yelled through her mouth, her teeth still gripping the Megadonut bag.
  9. Thats enough to detect an odd drugged aroma to the rum! If you wish to fudge that roll and drink the rum (say, for instance, as a complication due to poor olfactory robotic senses, or just being completely ignorant about what that should taste like), feel free to do so. In any case, of course, being a robot, that rum will have no effect!
  10. GM Treestock gave a broad grin but nothing more - what type of grin was it? He painted it on his face in a deliberately ambigious manner. He gave a complicated clicking order to the Bartender, who nodded and brought up a special bottle of rum. "Top class, baby. Have some of this!" he said, as the Bartender poured a pungent glass of what appeared to be almost antique alcohol. It looked like it has been passed around a dozen pirates - perhaps artifice or deception in its appearance, but who knew? "So, you are a scientist? That's cool baby, real cool. But I'm guessing you didn't come here to dance, did you? In any sense of the word" he said, more seriously now, studying her. "Something got your interest, right? I wonder why you decided to poke your nose into this litlle corner of town?"
  11. Could you throw me a notice roll?
  12. GM "Graveyard? Graveyard? I didn't say Graveyard did I? I meant Graveyard, I mean Graveyard" he blabbered almost incoherently as Fax sped off. At the Precinct... "Let me go...mmmmf....assault....mmff police brutality!" complained Skulll as the pulled up. "We haven't even touched you yet" laughed one cop outside, his hnandcuffs eagerly awaiting...
  13. GM "Aaaagh" screamed Marcus at the sight of Fax. He started playing air guitar...a quite absurd action until one recall3d his chainsaw guitar and his movements...an air guitar and an air chainsaw, making frantic chopping mimes at Fax. 'The Goddess of bones will never be betrayed!" He screamed defiantly. "She haunts the dead ground, grinds dead bones to dead dust, amongst heads of stone hahahaha!" He said, his body shaken into a spasm, his eyes full of mad devotion...
  14. I don think you need to stunt it even? No minimum range on lo g range teleport AFAIk
  15. GM "I see" answered Feedstock, cold and blunt."I think I need a drink...." He marched over to the bar and clicked his fingers at the barwoman who poured him, without asking, a vodka Martini. It was, Replica noted, quite correctly stirred, not shaken. "Can I get you one, miss......?" Asked Feedstock, waiting for her name. "Then you can tell me all about yourself. How come a beautiful woman like you ended up shut in a laboratory all day? What's your story?"
  16. No joy! Just toasting Replica a bit with playing to her weaknesses as well as strengths! Treestock is dangerous in a different way to pure PL...!
  17. GM And so.... It was a short bike ride back to the penthouse. And it was perfect toy timed, for as Fax pulled up he spotted Marcus Skulll, still holding his broken bleeding nose, scuttling out. He was wearing a hoodie and dark glasses but Fax, knowing his walk and his face...and recent history....could recognise nice him. He was making a run for it....
  18. So deactivating the door alarms and unlocking the door (let's consider that together for ease) is DC30 from the outside or DC 20 from the inside (I.e if frost slips through) of course you may have other tricks and ideas up your sleeve! Happy to play out the outside with dreadnought but with that funky perform roll we can assume you get a good advantage in a distraction So we don't need to ?
  19. GM Despite the age of the mansion, all brick and wood, there was absolutely nothing wrong with its security systems. The Duke was cunning; on the outside of the walls it looked like a very present but in euxceptional security system... precisely designed to deter the casual burglar but lull the dedicated their into a false sense of security. In the grounds, hidden high tech cameras were everywhere and it was a mixture of most astute eyes and luck that allowed Voin and Frost to creep through. Splendid gardens they were, too. Including the extravagance of some stables. Now, they faced the mansion itself. Locked and alarmed. A possible problem for Voin although the doors and windows were not airtight. Easy for cold most to slip through....
  20. GM Feedstock seemed to relax after a fashion. In the way a sword fell into a scabbard with fingers still gripped on its hilt. The immediate danger of it being swung or thrust was muted. But it was still sharp. "That was some crazy trip" he said, slow and smooth. "I never had a gig like that before, But I did it, got paid, and of story. Why, what happened after?"
  21. Where is fax driving too? And I guess with mimic deactivated?
  22. Echohead Well that was interesting... Umberto had bad a sheltered life and the various thoughts of the ship owner had sundered that shelter. He would never look at spandex the same way. He hoped the sarab wasn't wearing any... That small dive, on the river's edge... That was the best bet... And he made the man Farrell, walking out of the shop to bring the scaran up to speed...
  23. Actually a sense motive would be good ? the interaction with him is however do plot related that no diplomacy or bluff unless you are specifically bluffing
  24. GM Despite the most unusual of circusmtance, there were two extremely ill (critically, in fact) policemen in front of them, and in such a situation the well drilled operation kicked in. Stabilise. Canulas and drips went in, bloods taken, and before you knew it, the men were out of danger. True, badly injured and needing a cart load of medical care, but alive. "You did a good job, son. I mean...er....whoever you are....Bandageboy? Mr, Mummy?" said an upbeat paramedic as the policemen got wheeled into the Intensibe care of the hospital.
  25. For saving the cops! Fax - 3 HP - Unharmed
