I am not entirely sure it would be the same thing? Blast is damage, this represents being able to throw things long distances? Also. Blast doesn't need someone to pick an object up (a move action)? To put it another way, lets take out the Super Strength Power and just have throwing mastery 2 feat. Mechanically this would allow a thrown attack +7 attack, +7 Damage. The Super Strength power (without limitations) just adds in the ability to throw stuff further. And the Super Strength with limitations to throwing means cant lift heavier stuff, no grapple bonus, or destruction bonus or save vs disarm bonus etc? I am not sure it makes things complicated myself, as its just shifting the distance chart two places for light object distances. However, if its a problem, Ill just drop Super Strength and keep the throwing feat (and throw the spare PP somewhere else).

For this A few notes: 1. Mr Murk only cameoing in this. 2. Long tracts on philosophy, ethics, and law encouraged. Especially if dry and tedious. This means I am mainly going to be throwing things for the three PCs to debate carefully and will give a lot of space for this. Which means please nudge me when you want to scene cut and propel forward. (PvP debate is encouraged - as opposed to frank PvP combat!) 3. There will be a lot of Globetrotting here. Wales, London, Belgium, Hong Kong (at least!)

March 25th, 2018 Club Immortus, London... Late Evening Mr. Murk awaited patiently. He was a patient man. He had all the time in the world, and quite possibly longer. And yet, whilst things were not urgent, he felt the need to act. Something had gone missing, and that something was important. Not merely because that something happened to be an apparently immortal woman encased in ice in a hill in Wales, but because he could forsee some of the web of possibilities that had been wrapped up in this act. It disturbed him. The rules of the Codex Immortus were far from perfect, he knew, and must always be examined - not just by him, but by wise minds of its members. But he was, for the most part, glad that they were there. They had been used positively from time to time. He was not sure this was one of those times...not sure at all. So he had sent for Voin and Comrade Frost for help. Dreanought too, was intimately mixed up in this, but he would need awakening...it would be about now, by his timekeeping. He remembered their favourite drinks and favourite foods, and had arranged for them to be prepared. He knew, after all, when they would be arriving. For himself, he drank some Gin and tonic. For now, at least. He had a Pinot Noire and Chicken salad waiting, but he confessed to himself he had no particular thirst or appetite today...

GM And so it was... Morgen the Scarred went back to sleep, awaiting days of wonder to come. Her body entombed in Eldrich Ice. Y Dderwen went wandering the lands merry for the most part, and yet, as Men and their wonders grew, he became ever more sad, and wondered what he was protecting. His story continued for many many turns, his cudgel and vines employed by the Vanguard to come, until eventually he withdrew from the world in uncertainty. And Dreadnought, the Giant blown to the land by the Sky-Maidens, he once again slumbered in the hills of Wales, for thousands of years... Until... ~ Fin ~

GM Y Dderwen nodded sagely, contemplating. Like most wise men (or women), he could look wise and contemplative even when he was thinking, for instance, about doing the washing up or taking out the trash. Morgen was studying everything and more. He face looked a little sad. "In all these cycles, the world has not changed very much, has it? I have outslept my tribe, but the wonders of days to come are yet to arrive. We do not know the Gods more now, than before" She took a deep breath in. "I must sleep some more. If I can....there is little left of the last age of Ices, but what remains of that spirit, I shall use" she said with determination. "Giant, I trust you have all the answers you came for. Perhaps we shall see each other again. If not, I must thank you again for your skyborn arrival" she said, nodding deeply.

GM And so.... At the Police Station (or more accurately, half a block away...) Zyte pulled up in his "Zyte mobile", and jumped out, eager. He had insisted on buying everyone massive steaming cups of coffee, and had got himself some chilli tofu to munch on. His Camera was ever at the ready. "Yah, so I am sure we have some proper Eldritch experts in Freedom City, you know? Like a master mage or something. Or maybe some proper academic, like Crow. But they are all stuck up dusty and dry, not like you!" he said, snapping his fingers into a thumbs up at Hot Shot. "So, here we are, Freedom City! With a moderately guarded Police Station. You know the stuff! Cells with locked up drunkards and brawlers, burnt out cynical cops eating twenty different flavours of donuts! And an evidence room full of evidence and things that might be evidence, and Eldritch Skull Masks...From Another Time, Another Land!" he whispered with faux reverence.
-
GM "Murk, ha! Ever are his words murky. They named him well" replied Y Dderwen. "I am never entirely sure what he means. I am never entirely sure he knows what he means, either" he laughed gently, like falling moss. "He told me to find you and wake you. To find out when he should wake you later, and where he should wake you. It was all a little...complicated" he said, frowning. "Something about you having to be woken in order, or something like that. I didn't quite understand..." "Oh! And he asked me about the sleeping woman, too. And asked me about the ice, and the fire. I know much, but on this, I did not know. Perhaps, though, you can tell him when you wake up again, Giant. I suspect that was his true intent?"

Rev "Who are these guys, clones? Robots? Or is it something clever with mirrors?" asked Rev to Gauss, trying to work it out. She was pretty sure it wasn't mirrors. But then again, people could do some pretty neat things with mirrors, as SFX had shown her. "And those red heads! Who are they? And in any case, what are cowboys doing here? They aren't filming Gunbusters 8 are they?" she wondered, trying to see if there were any camera's around. In any case, the course of action was clear. She burst into the Bank and stuck her fingers up as mimed guns. "Stick 'em up, its a robbery! I mean, its a stopping a robbery!"

GM Mr Brick jumped up from his desk, still fat, still in a cheap suit. Still bald, and still red faced. But now, pretty shocked. He grabbed the shotgun on his desk and pointed it at Dr Deoxy and Mannequin. It was a token gesture, of course, faced with two mighty super powered persons, but he clearly liked holding it. "What! What are you doing here? This is private property!" he blustered, the same old crud falling from his lips - he had said that line a hundred thousand times. His secretary, Lizzy Blush, shrieked, looking quite scared. She was a tall blonde woman of limited intellectual skills who nevertheless had developed a great skill in manipulating older men and getting a lot of money from them. She had been halfway to cracking Mr. Brick when they were busted, and she felt money dribbling through her fingers. "Oooh! Save me, Save me Mr. Brick!" she whimpered. It was a false act, but people believe what they want to believe. "Don't you worry, Lizzy, this here is PRIVATE PROPERTY!" declared Mr. Brick, keen to show his importance.

GM "Mr. Murk?" asked Morgen, curious. "An old fellow" chipped in Y Dderwen. "I do not believe you have met, or at least, Murk did not mention you" "I have not met him" answered Morgen "At least, not whilst awake. When you left, Giant, our Seer turned mad. The Tribe could not do without a seer, and the hole in the hill was not fully sealed. I asked the Gods many times for guidance, but I heard nothing. Then, I seized fate by my own hand, and by the fire that never dies, I did what had to be done..." she explained, pointing and the burn scar along the left side of her face, and the white scarred eye that was there. "Now, I see much, and many things...." She was wistful, for a moment or two. "I know much that I did not before, and not all of it pleases me" she whispered, almost like a song. "I cannot see the future, but I see now the hidden things, and all worlds beyond our own. It is...frustrating" she conceded, ashamed. "And much of it dangerous. Growing, like the spirits in the sands far south of here. Ghosts of serpents. Golden temples and Insects bearing plagues..." Her earthly eye seemed to snap back into focus. "I went to sleep. It is the future that intrigues me and calls me, not the past. I stayed with my tribe for many winters, but I had to leave. I made them...uncomfortable. For the Gods they worship are not clearly seen by them, and they do not abandon or change belief lightly. No, now is not my time. The Ice on the hill beckoned, and I went to sleep..."
-
GM And so... It was a matter of fine manipulation, and bull headedness, lighting a fire. Wales was damp, and lighting fires was not so easy. But, there was no pressure for time for either of them. Y Dderwen was as immortal as Dreadnought, and seemed to get his sustenance from sun and earth. But he did offer some berries as a treat. The fire did, as predicted, chill the tomb of Morgen, and the icy stone melted from her. With a sudden gasp she became animated and looked around with eye of flesh and the scar that ran down her cheek. "What...? When? Giant you are here!" she gasped more, and then caught sight of Y Dderwen who was, admittedly, hard to see. "And what spirit are you?" she asked. "I am Y Dderwen. Many names, many names. All the same in the end" smiled the little green man. "Good morning, sleeping woman who sleeps no more!" "How long was I asleep, what happened? Are the Gods still in the sky?" she asked Dreadnought.

GM Gilbert looked nervous, tapping his feet and throwing his eyes left and right. His eyes came to rest on Giang, and he stopped a moment, sizing her up. Of course, Giang was undercover, or incognito, and Gilbert had no way of knowing if she was Tsunami or not. But, on the other hand, she could be. He took another rapid, nervous look around, scanning for trouble. He seemed to relax, only slightly, down to the level of merely nervous. He gave an equally rapid, nervous smile to her which seemed to be more like a tic, it was so fast. He then brought up a newspaper so his face was concealed, and Giang could see the paper. It was the local paper that he had advertised the cryptic message on. Except that, scrawled in thick black ink, was a reasonable diagram of a tsunami.... A signal.

GM The tires split and deflated as Arrowhawk went to work on them. Nobody seemed to notice her - although it was rather hard to see what the nearly immobile Metal Head was looking at. He was impassive. One had to look carefully to see he was breathing at all. "Where is she?" "We lost her!" The five hunters were getting impatient and frustrated. They had paid good money for blood sport, and the trail was cold. "Bring out the Nose!" demanded one, as the men looked at Metal Head. He gave a slow nod. In response, a small man of maybe five foot six height, slightly stooped, and with the biggest nose one could possibly conceive of, stepped out of one of the cars. He sniffed the air carefully, picking up the less than delicious aroma's that swirled around a back alley. "Got her...!" he whispered, his voice soft but insidious. The five hunters smiled and enjoyed their renewed enthusiasm, and started to get back into the pick ups...

GM "Rocks do fall from the sky. It is the way of things" said Y Dderwen, without malice. "Your tale is that of saving the land, not destroying it, and this is good!" He stopped now, as they approached the top of the hill - or at least what remained of it, after the impact of the meteor and the erosion of time. It was slightly cooler here. Nothing like the chill he had felt before, but cooler. He went to one knee and parted the moss with his hands, carefully, like a gardener tending his earth. He was skilled, soft, and slow. But he buried carefully through a few feet of earth until he came to something that glistened. Like Icy stone, or stony ice. Cold to touch, partially transparent. A coccoon. Inside, Dreadnough could see Megen, her hair raid, asleep, or at least eye closed and immobile. One eye. Her left was a scar of burnt flesh. "The sleeping maiden" announced Y Dderwen. "Do you know her? In your dreams?"
-
GM And so... Thousands of years had indeed changed the landscape, but perhaps by not so much. In any case, Y Dderwen moved through the forest as if he was born from it. Which, arguably, was quite true. The scar of the meteor had not evaporated, but it had perhaps muted. Moss, grass and wood claimed everything, in time. The hill looked familiar, distorted from the massive impact. And there was the faintest chill in the air. "What happened here? I felt the fire from the sky from halfway across the country. Felt the burn and the wound" said Y Dderwen in his low slow voice. "I listened to the tribe and their stories of a Giant and the Ice Demons. Maybe it was true. Must have some truth to it" he mused, walking all the time. "And I can feel the hill, too. The Air always has a chill around it. Like an echo. For all my wisdom, I cannot fathom...."

GM Arrowhawk landed without sound, right be the sniper who looked a sorry state. The Pick Up started to roll down the alley, engine purring nicely as the two goons sat in the front. "You think we should drop him off with the fixer back at base?" asked the tall one. For a moment, Arrowhawk though the short one, who was driving, was going to look back to examine the bleeding mess next to her. But, thank goodness, he was a sensible and responsible driver, for he kept his eyes on the road. "Hey, I just do what I am told. Clean this up! he said. Its clean. Bit of blood on the road, but nothing the Cops will get worried about. We just here to make sure no bodies lying around. The cleaning crew. Huh. Wish I could get carving with a knife instead...hell, if I make enough money, maybe I'll take a run some day. Gotta get a discount for services, surely?" "Don't think it works like that" said the Tall one, turning his head away, not best pleased with his short partner. "We ain't paid to think" said the Short one, driving on. "Lets just get catch up with Metal Head, see what he wants us to do...." And thus, a few minutes later... The two men kept in Radio contact with the main hunting party, and soon caught up through the dark night side streets. Arrowhawk could see two more pick ups ahead, with maybe a half dozen hunters in and around them, searching for the woman. One man stood apart, in the shadows but clear to Arrowhawks vision. A man in an overcoat and a hat, dressed in dark purple, with a head of duill dark metal that glinted slightly in the moonlight. It was an angular head, and one could not know if it was a true head of metal, or merely an imposing mask that looked like it had been dreamt up in a medieval torture chamber. He hardly moved, just stood there, with his hands in his pockets, and an immobile steel face.
-
GM The two men packed the sniper onto the Pick Up Truck. One was tall, one was short. Both were strong, both were armed, and both were wearing cool black clothes. Black, it seemed, was the new black. "So we get to pick up the garbage" complained the short one, swinging up the last leg of the Sniper. "Stop complaining. Its better than listening to those rich dicks complaining. Or celebrating" said the Tall one, more content with his lot. "Is it? Least we get to see some action. Even get to do some killing, if we are lucky" said the Short one, satisfied that the Sniper was secure. "Never had the taste myself" said the Tall one. "Not since Iraq. Its about the money, for me..." "Suit yourself" grunted the Short one. "Lets wheel this guy out. Metal Head wants him patched up, so I guess that's what we get paid for...." They both grunted an agreement on the matter, and started packing up to leave.
-
GM And thusly, foreso, and thenceafter.... Little had changed in the Alley in the few minutes she had gone. It was still full of rubbish and rats and perfumed with the alcohol and urine. And the sniper was still on the ground, quite unconscious. Possibly worse, one could not tell from this distance. But the two men loading him onto the back of a pick up truck might. The two men looked a little more professional than the rick kids. Mercenaries, hired hands, referees. Probably scum. Unless emergency services came packing handguns and wore black turtlenecks. Then again, this was Bedlam. With even a cursory glance, Arrowhawk could tell that two other vehicles had arrived soon after she had left, and departed almost straight away, leaving behind the two men and their pick up to take care of the Sniper who had taken a tumble.

GM "Things die, things are born, the circle turns" replied the little man. "I am Y Dderwen, the green man of the land. Or maybe the land is of me. I don't worry myself about it" he said, slow and ponderous. "Much happens, of course, but I do not know if you would see it of importance, Giant. An old oak splintered by lightning, or a bountiful long summer with every leaf basking and every flower blooming. A swarm of bees or a blight of disease. As I said, much happens, but your eye would not be looking". He stretched out, curiously graceful. "Murk said he read your granite letter. He said he could see your future, and I do not doubt him, although the vision of obscured and vague. He said you would protect this land in times to come, and I would trust him. You are hence of one heart with mine on this" he explained. "He said I should find you, and wake you. It took me a moon to find you, and a moon to wake you. He said you would go back to sleep, but he wanted to know where you would sleep, and when he should wake you again, for it would be a different world then" he added, a little perturbed by the thought. "And he asked if you knew about the sleeping Maid in the cold hill"

I cant add anything to what has already been said, but I echo the words. I am very very sorry, and very best of wishes. I hope you still have hope.
