GM the Strobe lights whizzd passed the Albino, their lights flickering on the waxy skin. And the ... thing... paused, trembling. A hypnotic trance? A Catatonic State? Maybe. Maybe not. The tremulous flesh started to peel, burn. And then the thing... EXPLODED! Huge chunks of fleshy globules fountained into the air. Amongst them, one could vaguely see things that were probably human organs. But not human as we know them. A more immediate concern for the Archer was the spray of semi-solid goo that flew his way...

Just hits, with a DC 17 Save 11 on save, so fully paralysed. And the Albino proceeds to explode! Could you throw me a DC 20 Fort Check from the goo. You can use Evade on that (DC 20)

GM "Him?" replied Rocky, screwing up his face and landing a spit on the unconscious man. "Never seen him before. Maybe some crazy fan. He said something about... what was it... why I never let the anger out? Pfft. He should see me backstage. I got plenty of rage. But you gotta pop a cork in it, you know? That's what I sing about. Bottled up rage. Twenty first century malaise." "Look, I really need to chill. Somethings eating at my nerves in the city. I'm gonna head out to the forest. Want to come? My new security guard?"

All corrected (dropped one Alt Power) Snare Perception Range: The idea is as you say. Its not a beam or a spark - its like perception range transform. A bit like an Earth telekenetic might have a perception range snare by perception range telekenesis of the ground below the target? "Instantly" is a bit strong, but basically the idea is that Spore can massively (millions of times increase) the growth of any fungus. Hence - magic mushroom snare. Reflex roll still allowed of course, but its not something she has to aim - just see.

Thats a solid hit, and... 23 he just makes it! Could you post that IC?

GM "Whoa?! You are a Shaman?" said Rocky, leaping to conclusions. "I mean, like a real one? You should come and do some blessing on my new album. Sacrifice a goat, or something. I could do with the sales..." Rocky Rockson was doing ok sales wise. But no more than ok. A perpetual B lister, acknowledged but not lauded. And with insidiously slipping sales from his third album onwards. "What's it whisper?" Here, he grew conspiratorial. "How I've been a victim. Injustice. How other people have got the better of me. Taken advantage. You know that feeling, right? When something goes wrong, and you can't do anything about it? When you dig your nails into your palms, wanting to let your fists fly but you know you can't?"

Snakebite "577, Got it," said Snakebite, thumb up. The air was crisp and clean. Mountains were not her regular territory; that would be jungle heat. But she still knew how to handle them. Dress up warm, for one thing. She slung her backpack over her shoulder - medical kit, food, water, tent. Heavy, perhaps, but Cassie was stronger than she looked. A lot stronger. And by her belt, her pistol and whip. One could never be to careful. The problem was the Himalayas were big, and easy to get lost in. If there wasn't a clue in the village - then it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. But it was worth the effort. Not just for the lives in danger, but for the ancient mysteries that might be discovered. So determined, she launched her booted feet towards the village. "Hello? Hello?" she called out. She had some US dollars to spare, if she needed to loosen tongues....

Echohead Echohead greedily swallowed the pull. Unable to force them down his dry throat, he scrabbled around for water like a man on fire. Feverish fingers eventually located a glass of dihydrogen mono-oxide, and he swished the pills down to his gullet. A smile broadened his face almost instantly. His breathing slowed. "Thank God!" he gasped. "I can feel the tumour shrinking already! You are amazing! Best nurse ever!" he beamed. "Fit for duty, now," he added with a salute. He straightened his black jacket. "I'm not going to let a silly old brain tumour stop me from saving the world, right?" He turned to Predator. "Lets go get 'em. I mean, er, whoever they are. Wait. We better find out what the hell is going on first. Lets go!"

Yippee! For reference, a new sheet is about to approved... I hope... https://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/14322-snakebite-pl9/ New pictures. A few more skills and feats. Some vehicles. Nothing to radical (remains PL 9)

GM "Not normal?" asked Rocky. Rubbing his knee. The fractures had sealed up nicely. The thug had given a few groans, but there was no doubt the man would live. He was asleep now, pain ablated, eyes closed. Rocky looked left and right with suspicious eyes. "You feel it to, do you? Something's been bugging me. Whispering in my ear. Hot, dark, like smoke, I guess. I honestly thought I was going crazy. Partying too hard. Not enough sleep, too many dr-- I mean, ah. Partying too hard. Lets leave it at that." He sniffed and wiped his nose. "I need to get my head straight... say, can you help? You look... actually, what do you look like? Never seen a man like you. Those scars? What are you, some kind of shaman?"

CharGE! https://orokos.com/roll/1013255 17 Which I think you just dodge? Your tilting of Mr Metal means you have him FLAT FOOTED!

GM "Adults? Screw Adults! They suck!" yelled Mr Metal. "I mean, obviously I am totally an adult. And not at all a kid. That's what I meant. I mean, you adults in this universe are STUPID!" He shook himself out of his verbal self-hanging with a wobble of his metal form. "S. T. U. I. P. D!" he spelled out. "Thats STUPID! I bet you cant even spell! HAR HAR HAR!" "Anyway, I'm going to magnetise your backside, just because you are so STUPID!" He jumped at Dwayne. A powerful, quick jump. At a guess, Mr Metal was actually doing something magnetic - propelling himself off the metal surface of the power station. He was like a lance - quite literally. His head molded itself into the shape of a sharp cone. He was going to head butt Dwayne. He was a SPEARHEAD!

Gamma Buzz Gamma Buzz was vibrating with anticipation now; his Antennae taught, quivering. Gone was the time of planning, he could not hold himself back anymore. "Spaceship! Because thats the coolest!" Not the most likely. Far from it. Gamma Buzz was far more likely to be superheroing in the City. And even the forest was plausible. Spaceships? Even in Freedom City, that would be a rare occurence. Unless Lawrence really could take them on cosmic adventures. But Spacehsip it was. He jumped on the pad, hands on hips, cockroach lungs puffing out his cockroach chest.

GM Rock took Jackson's hand and gave it a firm shake. Rock was probably past fourty, and looked older. Maybe hard living had taken its toll. He was shortish but broad, and his hand still had a strong grip, full of callousities. A bass player as well as a singer. And, if Jack recalled correctly, pretty decent at both. "Jack, pleased to meet you. I'd like to offer you a job in security at my gigs. If you would like..." "As for this piece of garbage..." Before Jack could correct, Rock Rockson kicked the thug in the ribs. Something went "Snap" in a very painful way, and the Thug screamed. Perhaps Rock had kicked too hard - he looked flushed, and winced. The seething Eldritch phenomenon dissapeared. Leaving a taste on the tongue - dissapointed.

Gamma Buzz "Hey its like a school backpack!" said Bax, trying to look over his shoulder onto the Roarer. Baz had the proportional neck flexibility of a cockroach, which meant he had even less neck flexibility than a human. He couldn't see it. "A school backpack made of radioactive boom-juice! Lethal! In a non-lethal way, of course, just like all radiation, huh?" He hopped from foot to foot in anticipation, and straightened out his antennae with pincered fingers, like a greaser combing his hair with exquisite pride and precision. "Right, hombres! Let's see what this Doom Room can throw at us! Read when you are!"

GM The Man blocked Jack's outstretched hand with his throat, and made sure he pressed his advantage by forcing Jack to stay standing up on his feet, whilst leverging some height for himself by using his jawbone to press down on Jack's iron fingers. The baseball bat fell to the floor with a resounding clatter. "Guh - Guh - Guh..." he gasped, dribbling a little, scrabbling the air. "Woah, dude! You got him!" gasped Rock Rockson. "Give him a good punch in the face, man! He deserves it!" Rock Rockson was flexing his fists - his face white from (fear? anxiety? Rage?) - looking like he was ready to dity his knuckles on the thugs teeth himself, if Jack didn't. And something... something hot, dark, like a jungle at night... something eldritch brushed against the air, savouring the sweet taste of rage...

17 which makes him well and truly grappled! So we can step out of combat now as the thug really will struggle to break free of that grapple, even with Jack being in human form.

GM Mr. Metal looked up from his palpating metal arms. "What?" he screamed. It was a sound like ripping tin. Quite painful. "You piece of rusted iron! Your sliver of oxidised magnesium!" Clearly, deep insults. "You Magnetic Magnet! Magnet you!" He took his hands out from the roof (sparing the city from a power outage - or worse) and started hopping from foot to foot, making obscene gestures. "I'm not a kid! You are!"

Diamondlight On another day, Diamondlight might have caught the teeth and tail of the stealthy observer. But that day was not this day. This was the frantic smell of battle; and Diamondlight was too caught up in dealing with the moving chess pieces to notice the pawn on the edge. In a flash of light, he was in the centre of the board. Eyes closed, but still totally able to see all around him, he let loose a scintellating disco ball of silver-blue laser beams that flashed around him, lighting up the park, and even the sky. Two of the beams, carefully focussed, cutting, hot, sliced straight at the protagonists...

Thug swings bat 7 So feel free to dodge thatone (HP if you fancy blocking it with your face and getting an injury and bruise). Thug is a minion, so you can take 10 on the attack (or do something else cool, of course).
-
So Diamondlight will try to teleport betwixt the enemies and unleash a laser spray at all of them! Its a selective targetted area attack. As I understand it, there are two targets left. https://orokos.com/roll/1013075 Thats 26, which I guess hits, and 20, which I guess might hit. DC 26 Tough Save(s)

GM "Go somewhere?" grunted the thug. "I tell you want, buttock-face, this here bat is going to go somewhere, straight between your stuck up cheeks!" The man clearly had not thought through betwixt which cheeks the baseball bat was to be inserted. Perhaps he had intended for the tip to be inserted in both orifices, in due order. But whatever his plan, he had decided to swing for the teeth first. Perhaps in an attempt to hear the pleasant sounds of shattering molars, perhaps to smell the enticing aroma of flowing blood. In any case, it was a strong blow. But would it hit? And, more importantly, would it even hurt the giant frame of Jack?
