Free action: WOrds! Move action: Move! Free Action: Words and drop kid! Move action: Move! Free action: Words! Quite a lot but technically "legal" and fitting with quickness and so on?
-
its a trained skill I am afraid? (you can of course burn an HP for Jack of all trades). Otherwise you can just post the action, even if it is ineffective it does of course show the sentiment.

Rev "Time distortion, huh? Well, of course. I knew that. A time distortion thing. A thing that distorts time. Totally" agreed Rev. "So, this feels bad, kid. But don't worry! We and Zhu have faced down worse than this!" she lied with a smile. "Best we go help her. And maybe she knows about dime tistortion, I mean time distortion fields" she finished. She will know a lot more than me. Feeling the zip of speed, she rushed back into the house but not the basement. "Go and hide, kid! Not under the bed though. That's where everyone looks!" she ordered Lawrence, before putting him down and continue her speedy travel back down to the basement. "What's going on Zhu? We got a thingy thing field around the house. Feels pretty thingy, if you ask me..."

GM Block head paused. "You make sense" he agreed, the faces once again speaking in harmony. "My...your...purpose is what defines us. We are here to build, are we not!?" he questioned. "This is the absolute, the singular goal. Oh what joy! To build! To build!" he explained, now quite happy despite at least two noses that were smashed to a pulp. "Yes, it is time to build. We shall never cease the joyous task. Never! Not until the universe freezes over. Ah! Happy happy happy!" Block Head turned his block head and started piecing together a wall from some cinder bricks. He was almost singing. "Happy happy happy! Build Build Build!" he repeated over and over again. Until one face caught sight of Mannequin. "You are the same. You build. And you be happy about build...." he said, concerned that perhaps Mannequin was not quite the same.

Happy happy happy Build Build Build Oh what joy!

GM "Hur...hur....help?" spluttered Prince Abdul Badawi. The fat prince was sweating and shaking, tremulous from fear. He looked like he didn't know where he was or what he was doing. He arguably looked like he didn't even know his own name. "Pu-pu-please? Hur-hur-help? Is any one there? I nu-nu-need security...." he blubbed. For a transient moment his fear exploded into regal fury. "CALL SECURITY! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!!! I MUST HAVE SECURITY OR I CUT OFF YOUR HEAD AND FRY IT IN GARLIC! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AMMMMMM?" he wailed. He caught himself. "Calm...calm....down....I am a prince....Prince Badawi....I will not panic!" he said, more firmly, to himself.

Rev "Errr...." Rev had no intention of leaving Zhu behind. But on the other hand she had a kid in her arm and she had no intention of leaving him behind either. "You rip me up, Zhu!" she grunted, not happy. "You better be right behind or I'll do something reckless..." I'll probably do something reckless anyway, so that's no threat. And she knows I'll probably do something reckless anyway, so is really no threat at all... But it was sentiment. Maybe that would do. "Hang on to your hat, kid. Kansas is going bye bye!" she said Lawrence, and started running out of the house. No time for Jets yet. She didn't want to accidentally burn the house down...but once they got outdoors....

Flux Quill felt reasonably calm. These were Lor, right? No reason for a fight. Twitchy bunch, at worst...but just doing there job... "That's right, I am..." Three cycles... "I was lost in the Quantum Dark Zone. Miracle I got, out, really..." How exactly did i get out...it seems so fuzzy....can't recall.... "I mean, I do identify as him. And I am him, too. Same man. You have records, right? I know it may sound hard to believe, but I am back..."

GM "I? Am a material anomaly?" queried Block head, its five faces frowning. Then, the faces broke harmony. "I am an anomaly!" "No, I am an anamaly!" "No, I am not an anomaly!" "How do i know if I am anomaly!" "Testing....Testing....!" Block Head then proceeded to punch itself in the face, once, twice, then in a flurry of furious testing activity. The block head, like the rest of its body, was resilient, and had an elastic quality, distorting and springing back when punched. But it the whole head looked rather warped after its vigorous self testing. It wobbled on its feet. "I am not an anomaly! I am resilient building material! You are attempting deception!" it said, pointing an accusing finger at Mannequin.

It cant beat that. As to the effect....

Flux A wormhole. No wonder he had been pulled off course. His quantum tunnelling was usually pretty precise. But the presence of such a massive time/space anomaly was sure to cause disruption. As for the Lor fighter craft... True, he could try a spatial bridge to escape. That would be prudent. But he had no reason to fight the Lor, and, he reasoned, they had no reason to fight him. Instead, he opened up a radio channel to them. A simple matter of sub-atomic wavefunction manipulation in local spacetime. This is Doctor Quill. Quentin Quill. Special science adviser to the Lor. I am seeking Chief Scientist Solak...

Starshot "Thank you" said Starshot, both to his crew and the tribe. "I could do with a good feast. And a party" he said, cheering up. Maybe some war paint and a some tanned leathers to go hunting. "Go easy on the liquor" he advised Soreen and Laark. "Getting drunk could get us undone. Besides, I don't want to march to war with a hangover" he explained. True, he would have liked to have a shot of vodka or Jezzik brandy. And he would, once he was flying the Xeno through space once again with some storied to tell and maybe a new scar to show. "But I'm going to eat and put my boots up for the night. We deserve a break..."

Flux has 2 PP / 10 EP reserved for this. I have no particular view on how to spend it. Other than a masterwork kettle. -

Trip roll: Trip Roll: 1d20+4 17 Except, whoopsie, forgot to add the actual power rank too (improved trip +4 included)...meaning a 27 result.

Starshot "I will" replied Starshot, looking at Soreen and Laark. "You need not follow me on this, although I would be honoured to have you by my side. I do this not to procure the aide of these people, but because it is the right thing to do. Even if we had no need of assistance, I would aide them still. The pirates are scum, and the Kurabanda should not suffer under their machinations..." he explained, grimly. "You have my fist and my fury, Chief" he said, boldly. "I will follow your lead, and follow your laws, whatever they may be. The demons of the sky will fall...."

GM "And stay in there! Don't come out!" shouted Hettie from outside the mysterious self-constructing building. Even Hettie was not bold enough to enter the building, what with its falling masonry and creaking walls. And...what was this? What it was was about nine feet tall. It was blue. Or purple. Or maybe a bit of both. A giant ceramic man. Its head was a cube, much like the falling masonry or the sample that Ratchet had brought them. A face on each side bar the one attached to its body. It had, in essence, a block head. "This building is restricted!" said the five faces in unison, somewhat angry and self important. "You are a material anomaly and must be reprocessed!" it added, lurching towards Mannequin.... Outside, Mannequin could hear Hettie and the site manager, the Mr. Brick that Ratchet had talked off, in heated discussion. "What do you mean....there's another one?" screamed Mister Brick.

GM "Sounds about right" agreed Rev. "Lets blow these guys off, hey?" She put both her hands up, and felt the jets click and reconfigure in her hands. Then, there was a blast of swirling hot air. She had worked out how to angle this particular furious jet just so; creating a vortex. A hurricane. A twister. Ready to blow papers and small objects around the home. It would be a job to clean up all the shattered glass. But it was also their to blow back to the two "Parents". Maintaining the last ebbs of the vortex with one hand, she scooped up Lawrence with another. "Hold on tight, kiddo....we are going for a ride!"

Lets create some havoc. Standard Action: Trip 10 (Line Area) Effect "Wind Tunnel". This has the knockback extra, so probably (if it does knock them back) will go slam them against a wall or out of the room / house / etc. If Rev can do it, some good old 80s "thrown out of a window in slow motion with tinkling glass to a synthpop beat" scene would be ideal. Move action: Pick up Lawrence, ready to flee.

Flux Credit where it was due. They did not abandon me. Even at the end, they kept the tea. He put said tea down and punched up the galactic map. He should make contact with Solak. There was no way of knowing exactly where he was, put he presumed it was in Lor space. Perhaps the Lor Institute of Complex Hyperdimensional Physics, where the Oort cloud Antivelocity collider ran. Perhaps the logs held some clue. In any case, he owed it to the scientist. To at least thank him. Perhaps they could even try to understand what happened. After all, he still wanted to make sure the regions was safe. Studying the map and the logs, he picked what he thought was the best guess. And space once against distorted, jumping Flux to...

Rev "What about Cherrybomb! lollipops?" asked Rev, hopefully. "They are awesome. Full of artificial flavours" she explained, trying to explain her love of them. She shook her head, trying to shake out those very same chemicals that had seeped into her brain. "We best go and see Ryan then. See if he can tell us about this mess" she said, determined to get her reward. Errr...I mean save the day. She added to herself, nodding herself into agreement. "RIght then Jack, by land or air? I got a pretty full tank if you want to fly?" she offered, pointing to her feet, all shiny and chrome and ready to blast off.
