Rev Rev gave her arms an experimental wiggle. "Yeah, I can put them on and off pretty easily. I don't think they have ever come off without me wanting to. Except when we were facing off against Doctor Dislocation. He just snapped his fingers and pow! My arms and legs fell off. Zhu had to see a physiotherapist for six weeks afterwards. Man, Doctor Dislocation was super annoying, huh, Zhu" She winked at Zhu, and made sure that Lawrence could see she was winking at Zhu in secret. "To be honest, its not so useful to detach your limbs. Firing plasma jets out of them is way cooler!" she said, excited. "I can char grill your pizza in a second!!" she boasted.

GM Vic shrugged, looking coy. "That there is two days worth of surveillance, dull as ditch water" she conceded. "I'm all out of intel, I am afraid. I'm a reporter not an FBI agent" she explained. "That's about it" "If you want to know about me, I'll need to get to know you better first. You know, drinks and dinner" she smiled, although she was probably joking. "I'm a private person, really. Always had an interest in black magic and history. But never had the patience to go all academic. So I end up working for Arcarnum, with enough money to live on. Hell, I don't stop to think about myself. I'm too scared too". She got out of the car and lit another cigarette. "I'm a mess. But I'm a mess that's onto something, today. I'm not aiming for a Pullitzer. But a bit of wealth and fame would be nice..."

Who can say? (at this distance on a photograph!) She looks like, at a glance, a woman with sunburn or bad spray tan. But those in the know would be suspicious of something infernal going on!

As far as Val can tell, the doors are automated so not strictly "opened", however - as to what has entered, perhaps you could also throw me a stealth roll? If you want to straight out confront "it" then no roll needed. If you want to get eyes on first (without being spotted herself), add in a stealth roll? You can also pick up anything you would like here (feel free to narrate anything like a golden lamp-shade, kitchen knife, or iced champagne bottle!)

The Hound looked shocked as the two battle brothers brawled. "Damn damn damn!" he muttered through canine lips, his eyes wide and stuffed to the brim with fear. "Freddy, run! run away! Every man for himself! Abandon ship! Game over!" he yelled, voice ragged with adrenaline. His brittle bravery, paper thin at the bets of time, snapped completely, and he was left only with the urge to run like the wind. "Better part of valour!" he explained as he scuttle away through the streets, intent on finding a place to hide.

Run away! Run away! Move and Standard action: Run away!

You can take 10 on a minion and auto hit, if you wish?

Lament "Sure, why not. We got time to kill. And coffee to keep us up" replied Luther. "I doubt I'm gonna get much sleep to the early hours anyway. Too much on my mind..." he sighed, looking once again at the mystery sleeping girl. "I can see the future now. Frettin' over this girl. A tarot reading. A few games of poker after wards. Coffee. Dozing off at some time in the morning. Waking up tired and grouchy later on. Yeah, no way this doesn't get soaked in caffeine and tired eyes..." he smiled, resigned to at least some small part of his fate. "So go for it. I'm guessin' the cards ain't gonna be pretty...."

Starshot "Makes sense..." grumbled Starshot as he spotted the tattoo. "Damn filthy pirate. Still, we don't know his story...looks like he is shell shocked" he pondered aloud. And here, he was not without sympathy. He had seen that in world war 2, and worse, he had seen it treated with cruelty and callousness. "Expose a man to too much brutality, without humanity. And that what's he becomes,,," He nodded at the Kurabanda, again making sure he kept his hands from his weapons. "Of course. We would be happy to help..."

GM Ratchet was there, already, pressing his weathered face against the wire fence, just to the side of the hole they cut through. He gave a thumbs up from the distance, and then pointed. A group of construction workers, four of them, had come to investigate the falling masonry. They were big scrawny men, but cautious. Only the biggest seem bold. Hettie the hammer, surely. She was perhaps not as big as Ratchet had made out, but she was big, all the same. Over six foot and strong as an ox. And yes, she was swinging a hammer quite capably. Ratchet was obviously scared. But the workers had not yet seen either him nor Mannequin. But they probably would...

Rev "Gosh darn it. Even the arm trick doesn't work, huh?" sighed Lexa. She activate the arms to stretch out and reconnect to her body. "Yeah, they are pretty strong. And flexible. And all sorts of stuff" she explained, flexing them again. "Zhu here game me some artificial skin to spray on so they look pretty real. Underneath, its shiny and chrome" she explained. "So if you need any cars lifting, I can do that. But honestly, it's not that useful. Zhu has got a lot more tricks than me" she said, smiling. And it was true, to. "Being super strong is swell and all, but being super smart is better"

Rev "My powers are being really really cool" said Rev, seriously. "Now, you may ask how I got my powers. Well, its a long story. But basically, Santa gave me the power to be really really cool". "What, you don't believe me?" she interrupted herself, aghast at the mere notion that she was either not cool or not empowered by Santa. "I'm shocked! I'm hurt! I'm literally coming to pieces!" she added. Her arms dropped off and clattered to the floor. "See! That's what happens when you don't believe me. Or think I'm not cool. Tsk!" she tutted, shaking her head. "Now you will have to pick those up and screw them back on!"
-
You are indeed! Post away.

Ok this is a damage 8 falling masonry effect. Good news, you get a Reflex DC 10 Save to halve that to a damage 4 falling masonry effect. Bad news: You are flat footed due to failed notice roll, so no defensive roll bonus! (And edit made to the IC)

The Rat Goddamn it and blast! Boldly, the Rat stood up, and fired into the air several times to get attention. "Listen up! I've walked into a war! I get that. But I'm not here to kill or destroy. I'm here to try and keep the peace. Which I cannot do if you guys are rending each other to shreds..." She pointed one gun at the robots, one at the operatives. "So the next man, or machine, that moves, is my enemy. You get that? The next thing that even looks like its going to fire a gun or snap their jaws, that's the person who broke the peace. And that's my enemy. So unless you want me tipping the scales against you...and believe me, you don't want that....you better stop moving, and start explaining!"
-
OK the Rat is not going to do anything but fire off an ultimatum! If you want to make that a diplomacy / intimidate / bluff of straight CHA roll, feel free to roll that for the Rat!
-
Yep, zilch from that! Do you want to do anything in the building or shall I post?

Diplomacy: 1d20+7 20

GM "And I will try to understand what the hell is going on here once your machines stop trying to bit me with electro-teeth!" reported the Rat. Load Ammunition: Rocket Round... She fired a slug right into the machine in front of her, full power, dead on. Their armour was thick, it seemed, but the rocket rounds were designed to penetrate steel. In a fluid momevent she turned to one side after firing and vaulted over some more machinery. Keep mobile! "I don't want anyone to die!" she told the artificial intelligence (at least, that was what she wanted). "So whose side are you on? I don't like the look of these goons, but I don't want you killing them. Or you killing me, either. If you can do that for me, I'm on your side!" She had to jump one way or the other, after all...
-
Wow you deserve a medal for all of that! Standard Action: Take 10, shifting +2 Damage, for a 21 attack roll on the Machine attacking her. Thats a Damage 7 effect, with penetrating so should work! (DC 22 Tough Save) Move Action: Move (to another cover point)
-
Could you throw me a notice roll (DC variable effect but between 10 and 20), and yu can go for an untrained physical sciences check DC 15

GM "Ummm...yeah...ah...sure...." muttered Ratchet, glum and miserable. "I mean...I can. I don't want to. But I suppose its better than a lungful of arsenic or having my knees shattered by Hettie" he conceded. "I'll just hang back. Have a smoke. Don't you worry, I'll come if you run into problems!" he smiled, trying to infuse some enthusiasm back into his bones. And so... The mysterious building was full of dust and the bones of a building. The walls and ceiling where largely there, but it was easy enough to walk through, what with door frames without doors, and incomplete walls. The materials used certainly looked odd. Perhaps not such a fragrant rip off derived from Mannequins own ceramics, but pretty close. There was the occasional creak, or groan, as if the house was actually moving... Which, in fact...it was!!!! From the walls around, a tumble of masonry and ceramic material cascaded onto Mannequin. "Intruder...Anomaly....Rebuild..." came a hissing voice, which reminded Mannequin very much of the hissing voice at Vision Inc, from the face on the box. Virtually the same, really....

GM The Many Mind is superior to your feeble intellect. Together, the Many Mind is strong. Together, the Many Mind is stronger than any beast. We bow to now King, be it king of rats or king of beasts. The Many Mind will be the only. Lobisomen felt an encroaching dominating psychic force in his head. The mutated rats looked at him, as one, black beady eyes completely hard. "See? They are a blight on this earth..." hissed Vermin, who, with alarming speed, scuttled up the walls and ceiling, coming down the other side of the sewer tunnel. He succeeded in biting the head off one of the Many mind. "Pfah! To resort to violence! Mah! I shall call my army! A King needs soldiers!" hissed the rat. "I've got you, buddy!" shouted Filth, drawing courage from his friends (if the rat was indeed a friends) actions. He shot bang bang bang! the bullet noise echoing down the tunnel. And another mutant rat bit the dust....

So their will is being eaten away by numbers depletion, but still high. Will Save: Will Save vs Fear: 1d20+11 16 which, I think despite being a bad roll, makes it? (I have it down as Fearsome Presence 3) On a positive note, Vermin now feels you are on his side, and will thus act accordingly: With an attack bonus of +15 he can auto hit a rat, but only inflicts a damage 2 result. : 1d20 2 and another many mind rat bites the dust. In addition you may make a hearing notice roll DC 5, but 100' away (so -10 to roll unless you have extended hearing). ROUND 2 29 - Many Mind Rats [18 left] Unharmed. 8 Are on the floor, 10 more in the pipes. 25 - Filth - Unharmed 21 - Lob- Bruised, Fatigued, 3 HP (NB: Lopping off one bruise with the various time passed since the ant fight etc) 21 - Arc - Injured, 4 HP 15 - Vermin, Unhamred Note the Mind Rats have a Defence of +5 (15) and are minions. Many Mind Rats psionic powers are now depleted. They will fire off a mind control on Lobisomem, DC 19 Will Save Filth, now emboldened and ordered by Vermin, will fire off a shot, taking 10 and hitting one. Tough Save vs Bullet: 1d20 2 this hits and kills another Mind Rat. Which incidentally lowers the Mind Control to DC 18, which means that if Lob got an "18" save" he will briefly fall under the mind control but snap out of it straight away when Filth kills a rat. Which means Lob is up again.

GM "Man, can't even murder someone slightly these days. And who said it was manslaughter anyway? You know, you are driving a fully loaded truck. Maybe the breaks fail. Maybe you have to swerve several times to hit, I mean avoid, the target?" he grinned. "No?..well I guess that means..." And a moment later, very nearby...... Round the back, the wire fence was there but pretty easy to cut through. Ratchet even had some cutters in the Ratchetmobile he had brought along (alongside a spanner and a swiss army knife). The control centre...the little prefrab building in the centre of the complex, was some way away. There were various half finished buildings dotted around in various states of completion, although none were complete by any measure. "Look, there..." pointed Ratchet at one precisely half built building. "That's where I found that blue cube thing...damn....I swear the building has built itself...." he muttered. "Its bigger than yesterday...and look..." he added, noting the "KEEP OUT! HAZARDOUS MATERIALS!" Signs and tape all around it. "They put that up too..." "We could go through that building. Ain't nobody going to bother us there" he pondered. "Although we are probably going to breathe in some arsenic or something. Otherwise, we can pick our way through the other buildings, under cover of darkness..." he grinned. Then looked at the clear sky and bright sun. "Well, maybe not so much darkness. But this place is half deserted. Probably won't be spotted. Probably...."
