  1. Ok so somewhat railroading into a dilemna for you guys...let me know how you feel about IC!
  2. GM "Sure I can drive you up. We are used to spooky out here..." agreed Officer Groats. Miss Marigold was a different problem altogether though. After several minutes grumpy conversations over the phone, the Officer slammed the phone down. "Change of plan folks. We are quarantined...they are sending an infectious disease unit up here. Nobody gets to leave the police station, or enter it, without there say so..." Ms. Marigold herself was laid out in a police cell, her seizures had at least stopped. The green tinge to her eyes and veins had not. If anything it was getting worse. "You...you have to stop it...its growing...roots....if you don't stop it now then...." she mumbled, before tensing up in a tonic seizure and falling unconscious again.
  3. Its a hit (Defence is +4, or 14 total!) Vs Scarves!: 1d20+4 18 unfortunately beats the DC 16 Reflex Save Post awaaaay! My mistake! As Anya is onlly just becoming possessed Im going to hand wave that as her subconsciously wanting to be restrained. Its an automatic Ensnared on Anya (Immobile, not full snare as scarves limited) Post awaaaay! And the Black Knight is up! but what will he make of his hoped for Girlfriend being ensnared? questions, questions. And maybe HP...
  4. GM Feigr Iss was loosing a thick oozy congealed blood from the hole Phantasmo had throw about. That card would be embedded in ice for centuries. And be a mystery to future archeologists. THe undead spirit looked up at the Black Knight. "The wheel turns, the centre changes. Ever will their be men of sword and axe, come to bring their strength against others. Are you not one of them>" he asked Black Knight, who could not understand the old Native Dialect, but could the cold hate. Agna screamed, her coldness gone. "This...is it...the mountain of souls....every one of them...." she said voice echoing cold and pure, as she lifted off the groud, arms wide, to recieve those very souls, and come to the ground with jet black eyes. "<Away with the Northmen defialers! The land is ours!" she whispered in an unearthly voice, before juping on Black Knight, trying to bring both him and her off the cliff face, to the rock an ice below them. Her strength was incredible, fuelled by the spirits inside of her and their dead rage.
  5. GM Both of her parents were studying the data with their daughter. "Hannah...hannah...yuo have to understand, you are my first and only concern, dear daughter! If Hannah is after you, then Hannah must be..." He clenched his fists, eager to extract a permanent vengeance on her. Nothing came further to his heart than his love of his daughter. Whilst her mother was less emphatic, but still passionate. "She must be stopped even without considering our family, she is dangerous. She must be a hacker of extraordinary gifts, and now it seems this Dr Sparks had given her the tools to the cities internet...what could she do? Anything! How do we stop her?"
  6. Round 3 19 - Fiegr Iss - Injured (Dazed till 10) 8 - Phantasmo - Unharmed - 2 HP 7 - Black Knight - Unharmed - 1 HP The Ice Wall is destroyed, but we are still floundering on ice, ready to get tumbled off! But what have we here, this mountain is indeed mystical! Agna is possessed! Sense Motive Check DC 10 to also notice... As for Agna: She rolls Agna initiative: 1d20 15 15 on her possession initiative, added to the above. She responds by leaping on to the Black Knight! Leaps on BK: 1d20+4 22 and hits! Her intention here is to rush you and herself off the mountain! Its opposed strength time, and Agna is now strong!!! Rushes BK: 1d20+6 14 Opposed Stnegth Roll, and need one From the Black Night!
  7. You can smash through it with Corrosion (a power attack presumably) giving DRain 12 and Damage 12. The Drain will take its toughness to -6 so lets just say he smashes it to pulp (or whatever he fancies narrating). That gives you a move action to - move next to him?
  8. GM Both her parents looked abashed, even shameful. "Technology is but a tool, in the hands of some, a weapon, in the hands of others, a balm. Sometimes it is both, and rarely neither" answered her mother cryptically. "The tools we used for you..." she paused "...are from Doctor Otaku. Her father came over and put his hand on his wife to comfort her. She was shaking from the memories. Without a word, he opened up his wallet, and took out a data stick, a chrome hi density quantum storage device. "Everything...its on here...you, your past, our past...I think its best you read for yourself...and do not be hasty to judge..."
  9. GM "Shoot, this place just gets stranger and stranger every second" said Pitch, gobsmacked by the spirit of Springsvale. She only understood half of what was going on. But then again, that was pretty much how she rolled. Studying books and scrolls and hocus pocus, that was for somebody with time and patience. "Well, thats Rock n' Roll by me, mister" she agreed with the spirit. "I can reign it in a bit..." She forced Tazel out of her veins and marrow, back to seething in her stomach. Her clothes smouldered back to normal, and the smoke and fire snuffed out. "Spirit realm sounds far out. As long as we get back to the real world" she asked.
  10. GM An hour later... "Well looks like you are clean, folks. Sorry for the search, juts doing our job. We got a tip, some photographs of this ship with Zoom stashed in it..." "Clearly doctored images" sniffed Endeavours father, who had calmed down to a mere simmering irritation. As the Coastguard left the ship, Endavours mother turned to her. "What was that about? Something to hold us up? I can't imagine you have been involved in Zoom...although today certainly is a day for surprises..." She looked at her daughter, concerned. "We are all in danger whilst this...sister...of yours is at large. If she can do that to us in a few minutes, what could she do in a few hours?" she asked, posing a dangerous question. "The past is more complicated than any of us had thought. Perhaps we were so caught up with you, we did not see what was around us...what other wheels we set in motion...and now the past has caught up with us" she said sadly. "I am sorry this has come to pass. You did not deserve such vexations..." she said, angry with herself.
  11. GM "You'll get out when I say you are out, little madam" replied Officer Groat, stiffly, to the Emo girl. "I really don't like the sounds of this. Damn invasion of the mushrooms body snatchers from Mars. Thing is, that Ms. Marigold, she was snooping around the graveyards in Lantern Hill. We get plenty of those, like that girl over there..." he said, indicating the Emo girl, who stuck her tongue out at him. "Communing with the dead, Satanism, you know the sort. Some people even get a kick out of more carnal activities in a graveyard" he shook his head, disgusted. "But she did say she had found some chemical dumping on the graves. Figures. Nobody would bother too much about poisons and chemicals when its a damn Graveyard already..."
  12. GM Under Endeavours more than capable eye, the pieces of the puzzle slotted together like a Jigsaw. The Drone was a simple robot. It was not an artificial intelligence, just a mindless drone - capable of following simple orders by radio, but not of independent action. It was well built, though. Small, sleek. A powerful microreactor. Gravitic propulsion. Energy weapons, poison darts. But one could see weak spots if you looked close enoughs. Instability of flight at certain angles, areas were the armour, such as it was, was thinner. Areas that would be vulnerable to attack. In short, Endeavour could piece together the tactical schematics of the microbot, and use them...
  13. Post awaaaay! NB: (please jog my memory if/'when it comes up!) Endeavour has IMPROVED CRIT 1, +2 ATT, +2 DEF vs the microbots.
  14. I would thought a Knowledge [Technology] Check would be the best bet. DC 10: Its a robot! DC 15: It is armed with drug darts and an energy blaster, and has gravitic flight. There are radio communicators so presumably it can be remote operated. It is only a drone, no artificial intelligence, but has some computer circuits to follow out basic instructions (INT 0, WIS 10) DC 20: You gain Improved Critical 1 vs the Bots in the future, spotting weakpoints. DC 25: After careful analysis, you gain +2 Attack and +2 Defence on versus the microbots as you study all its capabilities. That said, I will impose a -4 penalty on your roll due to lack of equipment and resources examining it. That will cancel out if you bring it to a workshop, or you spend an HP for the "Improvised Tools" Feat.
  15. GM "Nice! A little trinket!" smiled the Handyman. He opened up his hand to reveal the power ring glowing in his palm. "Honestly, you guys have given me the best laugh since Agent Bloom had a [censored] slide into his [censored] and ended up with [censored] in his [censored] whilst [censored] with two lemons and a bratwurst!!" he chortled, barely containing a raucous laugh. He scratched his stubble with his other hand. "Now lets see what this baby can do..."
  16. I should have posted this: Round 3 15 - Handyman - Unharmed - holding power ring. 14 - Argonaut - Unharmed - 2 HP 10 - Stronghold - Unharmed - 3 HP Argonaut is up. I realise I didn't post a toughness for the snare, HG, but on discussion with Horn, it would evaporate anyway once not sustained by the ring bearer. So feel free to narrate breaking out of it or it dissapearing as you wish (for a free action). You still have a move and standard action to go!
  17. GM "Zoom" replied the officer. He didn't exactly looked like he believed it. But on the other hand, he didn't exactly look like he disbelieved it either. He was just doing his job. "Just doing our job ma'am, sir, ma'am" explained the captain as he boarded, nodding politely to Endeavour and her parents. Soon there were three officers on board, rummaging through the yacht. "This is intolerable! I haven't touched a drop of Zoom in my life!" protested her father, although the reality of the situation had drummed home resignation into his skull. The officers were thorough. As the Yacht bobbed gently in the light waves of the ocean, they started their methodical search. This would take some valuable time...
  18. I believe the last roll should be a 12 natural then with your INT bonus of +6, a result of 18. Close, but just your basic "Need a warrant" thing.
  19. GM Feigr Iss almost crumpled as the card bit into him, slicing so hard it came out of the other side. A dark congealed blood formed around the entry and exit points, and a cold breathe of dead air hissed from his mouth and ribs. Feigr Iss was but old cold bones and skin, fragile. But, whilst fragile, it didn't kill him. He was already dead. Instead he looked with black eyes at Phantasmo the unliving. "<Like the axes and spears of old...>" he whined, the first note of anything approaching fear in him.
  20. Toughness vs the Cards of Phantasmo!: 1d20+8 15 vs DC 21 Toughness! Feigr is Dazed and Injured!
  21. : 1d20+16 34 a good roll from a good operator! (her main skill) Post away but the fates of cyberspace are not with you....
  22. If you have a computer to hand? if so, lets go for an opposed computer roll with Hannah...
  23. Ok so you may wish to use Knowledge (Civics) to weasel your way out of a search [DC 10] although you will still be impounded. A Knowledge [Civics] DC 20 roll (trained or ediectic memory/JOT) will frighten them off, as would either a bluff or a intimidate, but this is significantly more difficult (DC 25). Pretty obvious that Hannah has been hacking. you could counter this or enter cyberspace to fight her off, if you have access to a computer etc....
