GM Tanya and Arna actually broke into spontaneous applause at the heroic victory of the Black Knight and the amazing unliving Phantasmo. "That was quite impressive! You are actually a real Knight!" said Arna. She stopped, put hand on hip, and finger, tapping, on chin. "But...there must be hundreds of dead vikings in Greenland. Maybe thousands? Are they all coming back to life? Were these just the beginning? We don't even know all the funerals and burials. Ice covers everything in Greenland..." she wondered, a hit of fear around the concept. "What about this Feigr Iss? If he was real, and behind this...maybe we could find him?" suggested Tanya. Arna considered it a moment. "I am no professor, but if you are a Librarian for the Greenland university, you pick up a thing or two" she said, a statement flavoured with modesty and pride. "I can only guess, but we think the most holy place for the Inuit people before Erik the Red travelled was up a mountain just north of here..." she suggested. Yes.....whispered the wind, the faintest sound of the ghostly lips of Erik the Red.

1d20+10=20 with 4 bruises is 16, another bruise, another daze! Round 7!: 32 - Foreshadow - 0 HP - Injured + Bruised 21 - King Croc - Bruisedx5, Staggered, Dazed (until 11) 11 - Synapse - 1 HP - Fatigued Meaning Foreshadow is up!
-
GM King Croc staggered under the dual assault. It was hard to say which stunned him most - the staff of the Foreshadow, or the words of Synapse. "...What?" he said, as he was knocked about the head again. Credit to his abnormal skull, it seemed to be protecting him from a tremendous battering. His head was low set, and stable, and soaking up a pounding, both mental and physical. "I...could be...his slave? He could control me? No...I would have felt it...It is not possible!" he raged, although it was muted this time. Clearly he was wondering if it was possible! Then he exploded once again, on one knee and dazed, furious... "They have kept me here! Zero and the Sleeper! I will feast on their bones! Where is he? I will devour him and grind his brains with my teeth!"

-
1d20+10=19 minus 2 bruises is 17, meaning a third bruise and another daze

GM "Get out of my head, weakling woman! It is no place for you!" shouted the Crocodile King. It was hard to be entirely clear, what with his enlaged, protruding maw, stuffed full of teeth. But he may have actually been grinning at her. "Do not think you are the first person to try! There was a man, a young man, many years ago, who came with the Doctor Zero. A man who could dig in your thoughts, and twist them! A man they called the sleeper!" "Doctor Zero was strong, cunning, fast. Nearly a match for me. But the sleeper was the one that everybody feared. With a snap, they fell to his control. Not I!" he said proudly.

A DC 25 Know (Technology Roll) will allow you to spot specific weaknesses in the Robot Chassis, giving you Improved Crit +1 range in the future. A DC 30 Know (Technology Roll) will allow you to get the benefits of Favoured Opponent against the Robot.

GM "Of course. Tactical of you" conceded Dr Ring. He scrabbled about his projector and notes - both paper and electronic, to explain further. "The V3 Model is essentially my positronic brain in a box. A human shaped box. At a distance, it could pass, but not up close. It is not a full android. The robot body is well built, an armored chasis, tough, but not indestructable. It has superhuman strength, and is a fast and agile as any man. No doubt it would be a formidable opponent, although I am sure that you outclass it on a purely physical level" he said to Miracle Girl. "It has a variety of improved senses, more acute than a normal humans and including radar and radio capabilities. But its most formidable asset is the positronic brain, which can download other peoples thoughts, personalities, and even memories. In essence, it could obtain the mental abilities of anyone, which would make it potentially very dangerous. As it is, its basic cognitive capacity is limited, no more than an average man, and a niave one at that..."

GM "Whats going on? What happened? I demand to know everything!" Dr Rost stormed into Bobs Bangers, nervous and anxious. Her hair was all over the place. She looked even more thin and haggard than normal. She would have been a stunning woman, given a week at a health and beauty spar. As it was, her hair looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards. She was smoking furiously, and her eyes were bloodshot and wild. "There was a paradimensional disturbance! With some...after effects..." she said, looking at the smoke and fire damage of Bobs bangers and the minor injuries of the customers. "Who are you?" she asked Ulysses. "Where did you come from?" Her words almost tripped over themselves in her hurry to ask a thousand questions whilst looking at her computer and gadget readings.

GM "There is glory in the hunt, there is no doubt about it. Perhaps it has been forgotten in this new, so called civilised age" replied the huntsman, in pain and with a cold sweat, breathing laboured, full of adrenaline. "And yet that is not the all of it. I was born over a hundred years ago, the greatest of the great white hunters. And I learned a black and wonderful secret. The ritual of the hunt. By taking the life of a powerful beast, rejuvenating my own!"

Too many... The firefight was messy. They were outnumbered and outgunned, and the pirates were no two credit street thugs. These guys could shoot, and kill. "Give me all you have! " he shouted at trigger, kicking the gun into action. If he, and his gun, could pour enough plasma into the barrel, it would... The air lit up like the breath of a dragon, or the rage of a storm god. It was barely enough for trigger to contain...

Fine by me Rav! Feel free to do a post or two (you can use them as a Guest Star!)

Ok, I am inclined to stunt something off the rifle, perhaps a cone of plasma: Damage 6, Extras: Cone [12 PP] Fatiguing the rifle (essentially overloading it). How does that sound? I want to get Silver in the cone but as many other thugs (and not us) as possible?

Starshot was examining the flying beasts through Mask, with vision magnification on. Flying birds of prey - could be dangerous. Hard to track, harder to hunt. "I hope your bowmanship is as good as ever, my friend" he said to Seika with a smile. "Big wings, big birds, could be dangerous. Could be tasty!" he assed, giving her a slap. He felt a little sorry for her. WHilst the Xeno was spacious enough, and had a bed hammock just for her, these grav-craft were less so. "Best set us down then" he said the to the Lor. "And keep the eyes open!" he reminded them all, as Mask gave him an HUD of the area.

GM The Crocodile King's head was made of hard stuff, all bone and hide. And whilst his physical power was undeniable, his brain was no stronger. the King was all rage, fury, blood and muscle, full of confidence and teeth. But he was not the smartest crocodile-man in the world. His head snapped back from the force which shuddered the Bo-stick. A few splinters even peeled off the staff, splishing in the water. Against that, even the Crocodile King took a back step. If his dark eyes were less dark, they would have been seen to roll. "Grrr...No man can defeat me! I am the strongest! Even Doctor Zero was not as strong! I will not bow my knee to weaklings!" he swore, although it seemed he could not marshall the will or muscle to do anything just then.
