Not intimidates! Skeleton vikings! (Not just regular Vikings) Ok so the Skeletons are breaking out of the Ice below. This means, essentially, you have a surprise round as they break out. Which means they are flat footed, and wont act - but you only get a standard action (or move action). Round 1 (Surprise Round) 15 Phantasmo - 1 HP - Unharmed 11 Black Knight - 0 HP - Unharmed 10 The ladies (Not fighting but for reference) 0 Skeleton Vikings [5] - Unharmed The Vikings are minions.

GM The cops looked at each other nervously, and placed handcuffs on Geckoman even more nervously. In order to seem equitable, they put cuffs round the thick wrists of Doctor Tonic, still out cold, too. Whether they would hold the man, would be another matter. Then came the long march out of the Hospital, to a crowd of whispers, gossip, and speculation. Spearheaded by one woman, none other than Lana Loeb, the publisher of the Daily Herald, who had used her considerable clout to muscle in through the police cordons. "Geckoman! I should have known an irresponsible fool like you was behind this! Demolishing a hospital, shooting an ambulance...reckless, and dangerous! My Son is in hospital right now...you could have killed him! The city shall hear of this, you can bet! Front page in tomorrows Daily Herald! Have you any lies to throw out in your defence? I may even print them!" she said, voice hoarse with anger.

Which puts Foreshadow at 0HP, Bruised, Injured. Synapse is up (but shaken this round)
-
Ok, so first off you have a round to do [whatever]. there are shapes moving under the ice beneath you. Technically Black Knight can react first, but as its just you guys, youcan shuffle around initiative or whatever.

GM Arna's english was good, fluent really. But Phantasmo's slang and swagger made the finer points hard to understand. Still, she appreciated the drama. "You should go into the Movies, Mister Phantasmo! Or perhaps your own chat show. That would certainly be an interesting one. Phantasmo's Friends, maybe. Or Night Chat, with Phantasmo the Corpse?" she laughed gaily, hand to mouth, as she contemplated the idea. Even Tanya thought that was a good idea. "Spooky Gossip? Live talk with the Unliving?" she joined Arna in a little chuckle. Distracted, the two women failed to notice what Phantasmo and the Black Knight Did. Shadows, moving underneath the ice. Cracks forming...

GM Strong as the Crocodile King was (and it was strong, eight feet tall of muscle and hide), his ferocity was worse, all rage and unbridle passion for killing. And, it seemed, eating. He bent down and closed his jaw over Foreshadows shoulder, ripping flesh, still holding him above the water and in his grip. "See, woman? You are but cattle and meat to me. The Crocodile King will not be just a man, not a king...but a God, like the Pharoes of the Nile, countless suns and moons ago! You have met my blood brothers, I wager. They are just the beginning!" His mouth was red with Foreshadow's blood. "I deserve this and more, for what they did to me!" he roared. With his maw, it was hard to tell if he was smiling or not...

Heh, sorry! So, lets have King Croc Bite a chunk out of his helpless foe: Thats a damage 12 effect (DC 27) which, in this case will be lethal damage. For a move action, King Croc will intimidate Synapse: 1d20+14=32 eeps! After those rolls for FS and Synapse, the mental maiden is up!

GM "Yeah, um...well...we know are you are Geckoman and all...but...you just shot out an Ambulance which went careering into a hospital. Coulda killed somebody. Maybe it did. And you stole a cops gun..." said the cop without much conviction and with ample confusion. "I mean...lets sort it all outside, back in the police station. I'm sure it can be cleared up..." Dr Tonic groaned, still unconscious. "Who the hell is that guy?" asked the cop, pointing his Gun at Doctor Tonic, complete with wheelchair around his neck. "Why is he wearing a wheelchair like a necklace? He looks like a doctor...ah! aaaah! Look Geckoman, I don't want any trouble..." said the Cop, disagreeable to the notion of having hospital apparatus bent around his body. His feet started shuffling backwards, with the other cops in tow...

Post that perform away (Giving you +2 Circumstance Bonus on future CHA based rolls) I think it is time to ask for some initiative rolls!
-
GM "What do you think you are doing?" screamed the livid Doctor Tonic as Geckoman raised the wheelchair. "You are no match for the mighty...gnnnk!" he gasped as the wheelchair crunched into his face. He slumped to his knees, and the bottle of Geckoman's blood fell out of his hand, smashing on the floor, and leaking the precious fluid... "My...my...daughter..." mumbled Doctor Tonic as his eyes crossed and he fell, face first, onto the floor. Fortunately the wheelchair was wrapped around his head and neck, one wheel gently spinning, the rest bent and contorted out of all recognition. There was a moments pause. "Freeze, Geckoman!" Four cops had brought up the rear, and were pointing there guns at the Green Crusader!
-
No need to spend that HP, 22 will hit him happily. Lets call the wheelchair an improvised weapon, meaning a +2 Damage attack. Which means a total Damage DC of 15+1+5+2=23 1d20+11=13 and...fail by 10 means, as he is staggered, a knockout!

So a pretty major scene cut. Ill stop there, but for reference please make some notice rolls. Anything else you fancy doing, go for it - e.g. Search, Knowledge, Arcane Rituals, Basket Weaving, Underwater Yoga, etc etc...

GM "Sounds noble and exciting" said Arna, a little creeped out by Phantasmo. "Ill give you boys a ride...no questions! Happy to help a noble night and his err..." she looked Phantasmo up and down. "Squire....?" A few hours drive through dark icy landscape later... "No no, the other right...." said Arna, turning her map upside down as they reached progressively more rugged road. Her little car was a squeeze for four, and designed for the roads of Nuuk, not crawling around what was almost a mountain. She had at least provided thick jackets for herself and Tanya. A jacket didn't really go over the Black Knights shiny armour. The Viking rune stones were a little further up, on an icy footpath that threatened to trip and slip all but the most agile of feet. The stars were out in full force, with a nearly full moon, and a crystal clear sky, black and peppered with light. It was almost enough to see by, but Tanya had a flashlight or two to hand around. The Stones themselves were small, weathered, but undeniably runic, covered in snow and in a small circle.

GM With a less explosive pop, and a faint whistle, Annie, Ulysses and Synapse felt the suck off dimensions, and the pull of their home Dimension, Annie had to cling on tightly, perhaps a little more tightly than was required, to the muscular arm of Ulysses. For whilst Ulysses and Synapse journeyed back, as if bouncing back from taught elastic, for Annie it was a journey that stretched the elastic. And then, there they were, back in Bob's Bangers, without Bob, and with a lot of soot and smoke and a few surprised Firemen gawping at the three of them. "Is this it?" asked Annie. "Looks rainy..."

GM Ms D smiled at the compliment. It was hard to say if it was genuine or not. She was a master of self regulation and unreadable. "If the sightings are accurate, and, having investigated, I have every reason to think they are, then I would hazard a guess that the creature is staking out Freedom City Library. Presumably to gather knowledge, either in the conventional manner or in its own unique style" she explained. "I would suggest the search start there. Allthough be wary of scaring it off. You may wish to go incognito" she suggested.
-
GM Annie Key chewed her lip. It was not easy for her to witness the destruction of many months labour, all apparently fruitless. "So ends the dream" she said, bitter. "India must bear another scar. I hope you can make good on your bargain, psychic" she told Synapse, the anger never completely leaving her voice. Now it shall be built! Ever forward, cog and wheel and piston and spark! ground the voice of Industry in Ulysses head. It was not exactly joyful, more of a determined satisfaction to the mental voice. Ulysses could feel the build up of something around him, something tugging him, pulling him, back to Earth - his earth, to be precise.

GM "Telekenesis? You mean like a psychic or a medium?" said the confused Annie. "Thats..." Alas, her thoughts on the matter would never be known, for she was rudely interrupted by her creation exploding. And the explosion was rude. Synapse could only hazard a guess as to how much TNT or other explosive was loaded in the Robot, but it must have been considerable. It would have produced untold destruction to life, limb, and architecture if they were in a crowded urban area. As it was, it completely ripped asunder Synapses telekinetic cage, blowing air, soot, steam and fire in all directions, not to mention shrapnel from the obliterated robot. "...by the many arms of Kali...I didn't know I had put that much in!" squealed Annie, her mohican singed and face black with soot.

OK let it blow (as its disabled already!) Its a Damage 15 effect so lets see what that does... 1d20+14=19 vs DC 30 Damage that means a fail by 11, so yes, its destroyed I cant actually find any rules about what that means for the rest of you. Perhaps technically it would damage you, but as we have essentially come to the endish of the thread, I'm going to waive that - and feel free to have your hair ruffled or sunburnt face as per your wishes!

"What's that think made of? Its tougher than my aunt's meat loaf!" yelled Pitch, directed at the animated statue and Wayward who was bravely fighting it. She hustled, quickly as she could, to a nearby car, in case any more feathers - or lightning bolts - or fireballs - got hurled her way. With this chaos who knew what toxic projectile would be flung. As for the statue of metal, she could only suppose it would need more than she had if they were going to take it down by breakfast the next day. Reaching insider her, further than she ever had, she dove her soul into the infernal forge, where metal and fire and molten steel poured through smoke and chains and giant clockwork wheels. All metal, all fire, touched this place, and this place touched it back. She sucked that hot steel out, and poured it into the Hero Statue, which started to heat up...

Right, Pitch is going to fatigue to stunt something off her infernal forge array: Melt: Drain Toughness 7 (Extras: Affects Objects [+1], Duration [Concentration], Range [Perception]) [+2]) [32 PP] And then fire that off at the Hero Golem, which I hope hits, and then a DC 17 Reflex Save vs the Drain. Move Action: Trying to find some partial cover, perhaps behind a car or something?
-
Sounds good! Ill say thats an opposed counter roll for any imminent explosions?
