  1. It would indeed! A move action to rip out some rock, and a standard action to throw. Ill treat that as an area attack though, so they also get a Reflex Save for half damage.
  2. GM Zap! Zap Zap! Zap Zap Zap! The aim was good, but Terrifica was fast. The bolts of plasma from the crooks' guns became increasingly wild and desperate, causing havoc in the laboratory. One could only hope the institute had excellent insurance... "Get her! Get her!" "She's too fast!" "Where did she go?" "GET HER! THERE!" A triplet of beams sprayed wide, shooting out a Atomic Anticalibrater, which wobbled and blurred, an overhead UV light, which exploded in a shower of sparks, and a fire extinguisher, which started spraying wet, white, retardant everywhere. But nothing hit Terrifica.
  3. So three blaster beams at Terrifica: 1d20+5=17, 1d20+5=17, 1d20+5=10 which I think all miss,,, Meaning Miracle Girl is up!
  4. GM Annie turned back to the clockwork, gently rumbling, device she was tinkering with, speaking to Dee without looking at her. "What are you? I didn't know the English had women police officers" she said, flatly. "You sound just like one of those English Imperialists" she added, her own voice a mix of Indian and English heritage, like she was. "And who says I am Annie Key, anyway?" she said as an afterthought. "I am Annie Key, boys?" she laughed at the three youths who just chuckled, and shook their heads. To the ever observant Dee and Ulysses, the youths made sure their knives were near to them, ready to be unsheathed in an instant. THE TRACK MUST BE BUILT! Ulysses heard the command, formally a whisper, now a shout, in his head. An unrelenting force, a drive to build, build, build. Annie looked up at the pair with a smile on her head. "I'm don't want any trouble. If you are going to arrest me, arrest me..." she smirked.
  5. 1d20+3=7 and another one down. post away!
  6. 1d20+3=4 crook 1 is out, you may attack another (they are not all together, but attacking one more is fine)
  7. Round 1 21 - Terrifica - Unharmed- 1 HP 19 - Crooks [5] - Unharmed 12 - Miracle Girl - Unharmed 1 HP Terrifica is up.
  8. GM "They? They?" Tonic looked panicked for a moment, turning his head one way and another. "They are...they are always after me! For my genius! They don't understand! They fail to see divine inspiration, instead seeing only madness! But, verily I say unto you, they are mad! It is I who have my eyes wide open, yes, wide open in every direction...who see the beautiful connection of the all! It is only with such greatness of vision that man can aspire to the..." He stopped, his finger half way through wagging in the air to accompany his rambling monologue. "What are you doing with that wheelchair?" he asked, stunned for a second.
  9. Thats fine, so for sake of ease, we go back to Geckomans initiative with him now by the Wheelchair!
  10. GM Annie Key was there, tinkering with what was, in all likelihood, a bomb. The cave had turned into a tunnel, of sorts, with gas lights dimly lighting the way, alongside candles. It was not long until the cave terminated. There, Annie was playing with this device, and that, all steam powered and full of copper, brass, and iron. Around her, three thugee youths slouched around, smoking pipes, playing cards, and polishing Ms. Key's devices. As the two heroes approached, Annie Key spun round, pipe in mouth, monocle in eye, and rivet gun in hand, her dress a ragged and anarchic mix of boots and gloves and corset. "Whatcha dooin' here!" she demanded of the pair.
  11. So, initiative rolls please from all! You are facing the relatively mild threat of 5 minions, mercenary types who have Blast 5 energy devices. 1d20+1=19 for their initiative.
  12. GM The rag tag of men jumped out of their skin at the sound of Terrifica. "Wha? This place was supposed to be empty!" "She said so..." "I'm not going to the slammer!" "Waste her!" The comments rose in a crescendo of exitement, the last one practically yelped in a high pitch scream. The men dropped what they were holding - which, in a few cases, was very expensive and delicate physics equipment that they were apparently clueless about. the sound of breaking glass and crushed metal was painful to the ear of anybody who knew the true value. But with empty hands, the men could reach for those high tech energy pistols...
  13. "That means its time to shoot something! Zap! Zap!" Starshot slapped his rifle hard. "I'm sure there will be something to shoot..." he growled at the unruly weapon. "Then I guess we have to track the...beast?" What was it anyway? There was no real proof it was an animal, although that was the likely culprit. It could be a giant carnivore plant. It could even be a malfunction of equipment, or a natural geographical disaster. "I presume it is a beast? As opposed to an earthquake or lightning bolt?" he inquired. "Perhaps the bodies will tell..." he said, rubbing his forehead. This would be a grisly experience....
  14. GM The cyber-duke body was assaulted by a flurry of Cricket Batting, with each connection sending out a shower of sparks that sizzled on the bat, and arced right into Grimalkins soul. The cellar was beginning to look like an expensive firework display, as the sparks and arcs landed this way, and that, with some machines and instruments sizzling and exploding as they got hit, leading to a snowballing display of lighting. "Ouch! Ouch! How rather slightly extremely annoying!" said the Duke, his eyes crossing as the bat knocked his head left and then right. He sunk to his knees, dazed. "If I was to be hit by anyone, it would be you, my little butterfly" he moaned to Grimalkin, his tongue slurring somewhat. "But why does it have to be with a Cricket Bat? The English are such tiresome bores, you know..."
  15. 1d20+14=17 Youch, as already bruised, that hurts! So its another Daze and Bruise for the Duke, and Create Object / Feedback thing is a DC 20 Will Save Damage for Grimalkin, but Raged and with +6 from Create Object Rank, she cant fail! (+21 Bonus) Round 2: 68 - Velocity - 4 HP 25 - Grimalkin - 1 HP (3 Rounds of Rage left) 19 - Cyberduke, Bruised x2, Dazed (until 25). Velocity is up!
  16. Yup, got that! It was more if anybody else stepped on it! So if you guys are going in - pacing bravely or stealth? (the latter requiring a stealth roll). And, sorry to be a pain, more notice rolls from you both?
  17. Starshot was not best pleased with the market chaos. He enjoyed biting into two novel fruits, the Ka'bath lemon and the Ooobork melon. Both felt initially sickly, but had a curiously pleasant bitter aftertaste that lingered well. And the tactile sensation of fruit juice dribbling, despite all efforts to avoid, from his lips was a delight. "Left...left...noright! lookout! There, he looks dangerous!!!" Mask was being his normal paranoid self, and after a while, and some nasty looks from people the tinny voice accused, he just shut the unit down, letting it fold back to his neck. No more directions from Mask, but at least Deep Freeze knew the way. "Right, lets see what this is all about..." he said as they approached Ulrocs shop. He stopped to knock at the entrance. "Hello! Anyone in?"
  18. GM The wind died down, leaving just the pale thin atmosphere of the Gas Giant, barely 10% of normal pressure at best. There was little or no oxygen - the little gasps one could take served no function. It was cold too, bitterly cold, cold to the bone and marrow. Below, Roulette could see Photonics body in freefall. And then...zip....he blurred for a moment, teleporting further down to the planet. He wasn't even trying to get back to the ship, but was falling and teleporting down, down to the thick atmosphere of the gas giant. Behind him, Blood coughed up a few specks of blood, on her knees, shivering and pained, struggling to hold her breath. Grunt fared much better, his thick armour extending a helmet over his head. It was effectively an armoured space suit he was wearing.
  19. So Round 2 of the Vaccuum, no wind now, so you can move around freely (low pressure but gravity). Same DCs to shut the door, but you may want to do something else (once you have suffered the CON rolls!)
  20. Cool. For reference, Blood and Grunt are the suffering. CON Checks: with +5 bonus 1d20+8=28 Blood is OK Grunts Armour is moving into Space Suit mode, so he is immune.
  21. Ok, well that was kind of cool! Could you throw me a notice roll DC 0, with Photonic being 100' away, that means a -10 Penalty.
  22. GM As the amazing Geckoman scuttled around a corner, using floors, ceilings, and walls, he spied Doctor Tonic in wait. Around him, a peppering of screams and yells, and one concussed security guard out cold on the floor, having been thrown through a window. He had a slightly bent wheelchair in one hand, his hand crushing one of the metal rods in the chair, a sign of his prodigious strength. "I knew you wouldn't give up, lizard! The holy Jinn told me!" he yelled, furious, before looking to one side, the air, and listening to the hallucination. "What's that? Throw the wheelchair at the cursed reptile?" he asked, cocking his head, before leaning back and throwing the wheelchair at Geckoman's face...
  23. OK that is enough to catch up with him, although he had prepared a thrown object at you. Given your prompt, he is throwing a wheelchair at you! 1d20+10=22 which is still a miss. Lets say you can catch the Wheelchair on a DC 22 if you wish! Round 2 15 Geckoman - 3 HP - Exhausted 7 Tonic - Staggered
  24. Evolve! Evolve! I cannot abide your cranial deficiency any longer! Evolve! Evolve! It had been a few days now that the devolved Rat had lingered in the simian form. It was the same Rat, underneath it all, but that Rat seemed to like staying in their current state. It was true that she would, sooner or later, spring back to her normal form in a juggling of muscle, sinew, bone and flesh...and even now, her hair was a little less coarse, her knuckles a half inch of the ground, and eyes a little less together. But still, it was the same old devolved rat. Lifting and carrying. Carrying and lifting. That was what she was good for. Instructions often had to be repeated. It was so infuriating that SLAVE had taken to helping her directions, and of sheer frustration.
