GM The Depth Walker strode on, apparently oblivious to the four swimming heroes, or even the Super High Integrity Transport Sumbersile (aka Deep Sinker) that lagged behind with the marines on board. To say the Walker was slow was an understatement. It probably wasn't even going 1 mile an hour. It was heavy, cumbersome, and with the pace of a snail. Dark as silty as the water was done here - and it was dark and silty - the faint grey lights of the Walker gave at least a little illumination. The walker could be studied. There was the cannon on its underbelly - a device that Myrmidon had identified. It was heavily armoured too - although one could not say if it was for warfare or for the immense crushing pressure of the ocean floor. And, last but not least, a pressurised airlock on the top. On closer inspection, an airlock that could be opened. An airlock that could also dock with the Deep Sinker.

Axel was a big man, but he moved quietly. Way he figured it, he was up to his eyeballs in this mess anyold how. And in for a dime, in for a dollar. Besides, wouldn't been the first time he had bent the law. Wouldn't even be the first time he broke it. Except this time, it was for a good cause. He had seen stuff that he couldn't forget. And if Carmen sounded that scared, then everybody else should be damn right terrified. He walked quickly - not too fast, not too slow - to the porters office, and found some greens that he could wear. Not easy for a big man like him, but then, they did come in all shapes and all sizes. He still looked like a biker. Tattoos, pony tail. He couldn't do much about that though, just soldier on up. See if he couldn't find Carmen or Perdition. And then try and find what was goin' on...

Starshot straightened up boss. Where are we, captain? Another hell hole like Hutan-5? bleeped his hand. "I don't think so" he replied, rolling a leaf in his hand. "Brazil Nut trees. This is Earth, South America. Or at least, someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make it look like it is. A tropical rainforest. Means we could get wet, and we could get hot. And we will probably get both" he explained to the others. "And look...some tracks...human. Or human like" he said, pointing with his artificial hand illuminating a laser point on the ground. "It leads up that tree, and then...gone...." He looked up. "Something in the trees, above us. That's not so good. Something fast, something strong, and something cunning. I've hunted some killer beasts in my time. But a human killer is the most dangerous" Zaul Zeno's "improvements" on his body made the heat easy for him. His temperature automatically regulated. He barely broke a sweat. But there were other considerations. The others he was with. Fresh water. Food, eventually. And ultimately, getting back to civilization. "So food, and shelter. I can't argue with that. But I don't like being hunted. We can make a go of it back to civilization. But I don't think it will be the hunger or thirst that kills us. I think it will be up in the trees...." He craned his neck to look at the Canopy above them.

"Hey, I just got here!" she complained. The water didn't wash up the make up easily. But too long and...the deception might falter. "You must be the hired muscle, yeah? Keeping the man safe? Dragimov, I mean?" she asked innocently, pulling herself out of the water. The men were beefy, no question, but she had fought larger. And whilst her face was made up, there was little she could do to hide her own physique. Tall and lean and strong. The Darwin-X virus had forged her body into a sculpture. In a swim suit, there wasn't much she could do about that. Except maybe bluff and distraction. "I would have thought he would have wanted a girl like me in the pool, yeah? I can be very good scenery!" she said with a wink, hand on hip.

Dunno if needed yet, but I should probably throw in a Survival too: 1d20+10=22

This was an undercover Job, she reckoned. Back at the Safehouse, she had done all she could to disguise herself. Redhead today, and spiked hair. Blue eyes, not green. And makeup giving her different skin tones and different cheekbones. All part of Spy training. All done with attention to detail, and several reworks. She looked at herself in the mirror as she entered the tower. No disguise was perfect, but she looked markedly different. She wore a tight business suit and bluffed her way up to the top. Slave was printing out the time for her. 10:54. She was cutting it close, but together with Slave she had worked out the entire layout of the building. Slave was a combat computer as well as a hacking one. Every escape route, angle, and layout had been studied and analysed. She was as confident as she could get. Slipping into the pool area she whipped off her clothes. Not all of them, of course. She was wearing a one piece swim suit underneath, as Red as her hair. She looked like a Baywatch character. And then, in she slinked, and into the pool she dove...

So taking 20 on a disguise roll before hand for a result of +24

Meaning Foreshadow is up!

Starshot is inspecting the foilage, see if it is Earth like (at least!) with a rather good trained Life Sciences roll: 1d20+6=23

"Calm down, son. No need to ramble" said Oskar, kindly. He had been in worse scrapes. But loosing Trigger and Mask was bad news. Never let a man down. They might just be pale AI reflections of men. But they were his men. He knelt down whilst Fingers jumped back onto his stump. Piece of cake, sir! it said, the green lights glowing happily. "As for this hand. The guy who gave me that gave me fifty years of slavery. I wouldn't recommend it" he said Solemnly to Vonnie. "My name is Starshot. I...ain't from around here. At least, not any more. Been years since I was on Earth. But then again, I don't exactly know where here is, and I am not even sure it is Earth" he mused, bending over to inspect the leafs and roots around them. It had been a long time, but still...different eco systems evolved different life. And on that note, it was a damn fine thing that they were breathing. Perhaps this was Earth, after all.

"Shoot" groaned Pitch, getting up slowly. "So much for speed and motor muscle" she commented whilst shouting at Tazel inside... I ain't running from no fight, buster! So get with the programme!!! "The barrier is letting people through. Let a damn car though. Just not us..." she said, trying to think it through. "What gives? Some kind of anti magic shell or something?" she asked the air and Equinox, without knowing what she was talking about. "I ain't ever seen something like that before...I ain't got no clue how to get past it either. Sorry for my rather...blunt, approach" she apologised to Equinox. "But, I just tend to go for the blunt approach first..." To emphasise her point, she summoned a ball of fire into her hand and launched it at the barrier.

1d20+2=18 A fairly lucky Stealth Roll. Lets see how the disguise goes: 1d20+2=10 not so good, still, shrugs off casual glances!
-
THat would be a tough call as it is so "out there"! Still, I suppose a Knowledge (Technology) Roll is in order if anyone has it... DC 20 DC 30
-
As requested: 1d20+3=12 INT roll. However, if this is for the Master Plan feat, she is much more awesome, having the Benefit (Use Knowledge Tactics for Masterplan roll) feat. 1d20+15=35 Sheesh, now that is pretty good!

1d20+5=23 it is the awesome, sorry. Round 2: 24 - Foreshadow - 1 HP 20 - Frogmen [3 onboard, 1 in Nile] 16 - Synapse - 2 HP 10 - Zaki [in Nile]
-
GM The Frogmen were nothing like the bloated athletes of Russia that Foreshadow and Synapse had tussled with. Instead, they seemed to have Doctor Zeros quickness and speed. Because they were quick, and they were fast. The Slithering frogman shifted backwards like a limbo dancer or a snake, and them dived into the water overboard. The other thee Frogmen jumped on Zaki. He was an older gentleman, but still vigorous. But whatever strength he has was nothing compared to the Frogmen, whose limbs, whilst scrawny, were wiry like steel. They handled him easily, and threw him overboard like a ragdoll. The Captain of the ship and the Steward were half tempted to join him in diving. But if truth be told, onboard with the Frogmen was probably safer than in the Nile with them...or more...

GM Doctor Tonic looked back at the sound of screeching, but to late. The Door hit him on the backs of his knees, and he rotated, and fell. It was as though he had slipped on a banana peel in a kiddies cartoon. "I ain't ever seen that before!" gasped one pedestrian on the sidewalk, who had indeed never seen that before and thus documented it on his mobile phone camera. "Neither have I!" said Doctor Tonic, Angrily, flat on his back. "Geckoman, you almost tempt me to stomp your irritating green behind onto the sidewalk, leaving nothing but a big ugly Green stain that the City will try to wash away for years...but...but...but almost is not enough. Not when I have a daughter to save! Although your vexations will be paid for when I have time!" he swore, starting to get up...

I am guessing with improved throw you are making him use his DEX, as he is clearly strong? 1d20+1=12 so he is down. Now, Trip is pretty awesomely bad (A Standard action to make someone trip and...take a move action to stand up). As this was a cool, thing, lets go with that tactic allowing Geckoman to close the distance again... Geckoman is up (but will need a move action to reach the downed Tonic)
-
Unfortunately not as they have uncanny dodge. Defence is +8 by the way. For the Frogmen, they are going to grapple and throw Zaki overboard. I won't roll that, as they practically can't fail. So Synpase is up.

GM Robert gave a yawn, and had another drink of his coffee. "She may be right, you know. All these spikes. Your speed is being amplified and fed back through a temporal lensing effect. At least, that's how I would describe it..." he said, his concentration returning. "Simply being here powers this...whatever..." he said to the majestic monolith in the centre of the room, humming from the power cables. "But when you do your superspeed thing...it spikes significantly. Switches from grazing to gorging so to speak. It is not actually draining your speed, well, no more than a nanosecond here or there. But it is using it..." he explained. Just then, the old phone, littered amongst the clutter, rang, nearly jumping off the hook... Bring Bring...Bring Bring...Bring Bring...

Round 1: 24 - Foreshadow - 1 HP 20 - Frogmen [4] 16 - Synapse - 2 HP 10 - Zaki (Steward and Captain not engaging) Foreshadow is up!

Oskar blinked and started to move, feeling the handcuff. "<What kinda damn bear was that?>" he cursed in German, adding a few choice expletives. Bears don't normally come with poison coated claws, at least, as far as he could remember. It had been a while. Hey, what the hell happened? Someone shut me down! What did I miss? said Hand, coming on line with glowing green lights flickering. "Beats me, fingers" grunted Starshot, before turning to study Nevermore. And more importantly, the handcuff that joined them. You look like some crazy cannibal! laughed Hand. Oskar could not disagree, with all the paint and animal parts adorning them. "Nice to meet you, chaps. But this is looking like a bad day to meet" he said by way of introduction. Meanwhile, Hand slipped off his left arm, leaving a stump ending in some metal cybernetics. He stood up and stretched. "Go cut the other one, Hand" he ordered the disembodied cybernetic hand, who crawled along the forest floor, and then extended a finger (in a parody of a famous one finger salute), which emitted a bright shrill laser beam, aiming to cut the other two apart. "God knows where Trigger and Mask are..." he muttered, before asking the others "You didn't happen to see a Rifle and a Helmet anywhere, did you? About so big, green lights?"
-
Also, Hand is dropping off then hopefully cutting us free. It has V/D (Tech) Strike power, so going to fluff that as a Laser Cutter.
