He was waiting for the hammer to fall... -
Ok, going to pull John and Pitch into the fire, and flame jump to some other fire, in Freedom City, hopefully the other end of the city. I'll leave it to your narrative wisdom where they end up! If I need to surge to do that (move and teleport) ill do so, fatiguing.

Sure, everyone make dem rolls!

Took a bit of narrative licence there. Dee can know all that stuff about Anton with a DC 30 Current Affairs or Popular Culture Roll. DC 20 gives his name and the fact he is ex-army / ex gold medalist in Biathalon

GM Later that day...The opening ceremony... Erick had enough spare cash to buy K a ticket from the touts loitering outside the Games. It wasn't cheap. mind, but neither was Erick. The opening ceremony was suitably splendid. The most expensive ceremony ever, apparently. Even if one of the snowflakes didn't open. Four olympic rings was one short. The parade of the olympians was were K perked up. He had relaxed somewhat in Ericks company, but was still on edge. The Russians - or at least some of them - looked in phenomenal shape. The same abnormally powerful musculature. "Clean to all testing. Bribes maybe? More likely they have some juice in them that can't be detected. Or it juiced them up, and is now underctable. Who knows? I'm not a biochemist...but look at them!" He did have a point. They had that same thousand yard brainwashed stare, oblivious to the crowds, and that same mighty physique. "And there...that him... the Head Coach..." he said, pointing to the man. He was an ex-olympian himself, a cross country skiier and rifleman. A tall man, in his fifties but still in good shape, although next to some of his juiced up olympians he looked almost tiny. He wore a smirk of confidence in his face, and waved a Russian flag furiously. "Anton Bronsky. Apparently was an army man, all that snow and mountain stuff. Hard as nails, and a card carrying communist. Never a more patriotic soul in the motherland" shuddered K. "He is the key to getting answers. But hell knows how to get to him....this place is crawling with Security. Last thing Putin wants is a terrorist attack to spoil the fun..." Meanwhile... Dee's seat was not so far away, within earshot even. She had spotted at least one security guard keeping tabs on her, and the man sitting to her left did not seem particularly engrossed in the ceremony, keeping his eyes shifting now and again to her...

Harry move action: move! Standard action: full defence (+8) Stealth roll if needed - taking 10 (SM) for 24
-
The Hounds ears pricked up. His adrenaline flowing, his senses heightened. That was the effect of the primitive flight or fight response. In Harry's case. It was flight or flight a different direction. Still, fear also drew one to know what was the threat, even for a craven like Harry. He had heard the creak of stairs, soft but terrible to his ears. Was another fighter coming? or the same one? There was only one thing for it. Scuttle as fast as he could in the other direction. He didn't know what was coming up the stairs, but he decided he didn't want to find out. Slowly and cautiously, with a low dog whimper, he scuttled across the floor in the opposite direction.

"Gah! Shot at once, shot at twice, now skewered!" gasped Rene as the blade twisted into his shoulder. The pain crept forth, widening his eyes, shortening his breath, and felling him to his knees. He felt the soak of blood crawl forth, like a flower opening, onto his cloth. With an effort he leaned backwards, and took a few kneeling steps in reverse, so the blade would not slice him in two, or poke so far in that it would go right through him. Rene was no physician, but he was pretty sure he heard a crack in his clavicle. His right hand went up to his left shoulder, and felt the wetness. At least, he considered, it was not fountaining out as was wont when an artery had parted. He had seen such throwing of claret in the ward, and an ill omen it was for the pipes that burst so.
-
1d20+8=13 oh dear, a bruise and a daze! (and an injury if its lethal?) Father Henri, help!
-
Rene once again felt the machete, but this time, he grinned at the result. "The land of dreams is truly remarkable, is it not? Even I stop to wonder sometimes, and that's saying something. I am at home, here, apparition!" His back against the wall, he slumped to one side and shuffled to his left, out of range from the Machete. He wasn't as fast as the spectre, even in the lands of dreams, but he wasn't as slow as he normally was. He was forcing the blade to advance, never giving it time. "And now. Stop!, it iz hammer time!" he said, unwittingly and unknowingly declaring a truly awful pun. Rene didn't listen to popular music. Especially from the 80s. Conjuring forth a hammer, its head the size of an anvil, he swung his arms in the trajectory it would go. The Hammer bolted diagonally downwards, spinning and swinging as it went, splintering off wood and iron fillings in its wake.

Move Action: Shuffle to one side,,, So I will shift slightly for the final dude. 1d20+10=21 Should hit, which I think means a DC 27 Toughness save. -
"A Dragon?" I guess those archetypes never grow old! The Radical was about to embark on a rambling discussion on Jungian Archetypes, based on his cluttered and random readings of the sixties counter culture, before Sam gave him a mental slap. "That doesn't sound good...at all. I'm dead against damage to the fabric of the universe..." Its all just a garment of illusion, babe, open your mind to the wonders of the multi... "...so we...er...I....er...we...better try and find it first I guess? I hope a day is long enough...its a long walk down, isn't it?" she asked. She felt the Radicals power bubbling high, enough to propel her down there in an instant. But she wouldn't be able to fly around scounting for this crystal. At least, not for long. "We...er...I...er...he...er....can sense it then, I guess. I hope. Psychic, you see!" she added, tapping her head. "Would, you, err...mind if I picked your brains?" she asked politely and a little awkwardly. "I mean in a literal sense. It won't hurt, it's just if you know about temporal physics and the history of the future, that might come in handy...its just borrowing your knowledge..."
-
At the moment, nothing...but I half fancy grabbing Tomorrows mind! If tomorrow allows it, ill grab 10PP worth of skills (I don't think he has any psychic powers). May not be 10PP worth of course. Details of what to grab usefully I leave to you!

Going to attempt an unshifted grapple then - which is probably a very bad idea against a hair controller! 1d20+10=19 Except...I rolled for his normal form. And he is just a blob of blood right now, so that attack roll is actually 21... ...if that hits, Ill roll a grapple, but unfortunately he is not so good at grappling when tiny...1d20+14=30 is not so bad a roll however.
-
I think with that, lets just call it! Post that away (or if you wish, snaring them all some more) and lets drop out of combat. They are effectively bound!
-
1d20+10=18 I make her bruised and staggered, so that would be another -1 penalty but same result, toughness 17 for one bruise.
-
Im not actually sure he is prone? The last damage roll was DC 21 (6) and his knockback is -6 due to his immobile, giving a result of 0 which is no knockback (Immobile power is useful for something!) Anyway, a toughness roll if he is - 1d20+7=18 just made it!

1d20+16=32 Rene made of steel today (even with the two bruises) incidentally, if this is a dream dimension, does Rene get favoured environment bonus? (is so ill say its +2 Defence by default). -
In a move round, or whole round? (i.e. can the Mess try a grapple?)
-
Ah! Antibodies also affected then...with a crit that is pretty devastating! 1d20+6=15, 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=15, 1d20+6=19 All snared! Well, that was quick thanks to Catalyst! the Antibodies have Strength +8 however, and snare toughness is 5 (autofire, shifting and crits add to initial save, not power rank). So they may break free... Lets move to the end of this round, and if they havent broken, we can just say that Catalyst has effectively disabled them. So Osprey is up!
-
Ok so they are a bit "brain dead", not literally, but hey ho...so they cant match that assessment sense motive. The feat is a bit vague on how you compare defence and offence scores (base defence? with dodge bonus? which attack bonus?) so, given its a bit underpar as a feat, and given the antibodies are a bit slow in the head, ill just fudge this and say it outright: They have an attack and defence bonus of +6! So, the autofire smare knocks out all the guns in the central part of the Haven. Post away! which means Osprey is up again!

Ok For Mess, Super Slithering after the villain...So he has speed 6 right now (4400' rnd) plus wall crawling 3 plus slithering, so I dont know where or how that will take him?
