"Get in the car?" It was a simple enough request, and one that was his first instinct too. But as his spinal cord of fear clicked into action, and started him moving, his foot brushed against the desicated body of his Partner, sitting against the chevvy like an ancient mummy. "Gah! That always freaks me out!" he yelped. It didn't help to look at it in the moonlight. Still, he couldn't leave the vulnerable body there. Instead, he averted his eyes, and tried not to think of the crumbly flesh in his fingers. Instead, he gritted his teeth and pulled the lug into the Chevvy, collasping into the back seat with him. "Sweet Mary and Joseph, you weigh a ton even like this" he moaned.

D'oh. Ill delete my IC post!

Hound will take the Mess Body and drag it into the Chevvy!

Ok, lets go for a big old blood attack on Malcolm. Perception Range, and its DC 20 Fort Save attack.

You can automatically hit the weapons as they are immobile. I am not sure how immobile weapons are snared, but maybe we can say cant target (which renders them fairly non functional). I guess Ill give them a STR bonus of +2 for the purposes of "breaking out".

GM The manager raised his eyebrows in disbelief, but begrudging acceptance. Sergeant K was a battle hardened cop from the streets of Russia. He was not a small or weak man physically or mentally. But the thundering power of those two men, plus a general background paranoia was enough to break his bravery. ""He is your bodyguard?" sniffed the manager. "Then I will double the security of this hotel immediately!" he snooted, breaking off to go back to reception. Sergeant K just sneered at him. "Ignorant fool. He doesn't know anything. I know when I am dealing with a few crooks or mafia. This is another league" he explained. "How I wish I was ignorant of the whole thing. Now, I am a target..." he sighed. "But thank you for saving my life. If it wasn't for you I would be toast. I just don't understand why they broke off and started fighting each other...I guess whatever drugs they are on have pickled their brains..." he shrugged, not convinced but without better explanation. "Listen, the info I got is from the coach of the Russian Downhill Ski team. And if you think I'm scared, you should see him...he thinks the Head Coach of the Russian Olympic Team is the man to blame, but who knows for sure..."

After discussion with Thev: Standard Action: Boosting Move Action: Straight leap up (at 450' right now so I assume that is enough!) and sticking to the ceiling by his head (wall crawling 3)

"Damn this! Get down here!" shouted the Mess to the figure in the rafters. He hated chasing Dames. He clenched up, willing his blood to supercharge, and so it did. A fizzing, popping sound, and suddenly his form exploded, rippling with energy and with thick, mighty arms and legs. It was impressive enough when he was in his fleshy body, but as the animated blood, it was like watching ketchup turn to pink champagne. Suitably energised, he leapt high and fast to the ceiling, his head gently brushing the ceiling with a soft "splodge", and there he stood, dangling by his head, casting his eyes around him.

"A magnet?" speculate Sunset, hand to chin, tapping away. "Something with that power would attract all sorts of flies and moths. A divining pool of the future" She couldn't help but be fascinated by the future, and the grand sweeps of history that Dr Tomorrow had painted for her. How could one cram in over a million years of history? What where humans of this age? Not the humans of the twentieth century, that was for sure. Why, evolution alone would have changed them beyond recognition, without even considering the effects of genetic engineering. "The ooxmal were clearly fine architects as well as telepaths. Why did they go and leave such a wonder?" she pondered. "A treasure trove for all to grab. And not just from this universe, but all those with which it connects" This I gotta see! Sam kept silent. The Radical was a good soul, but rather eccentric. She did not doubt he would be drawn to the crystal, and to peek inside it, irrespective of the risk or consequence. Anything that could "expand his mind" would draw him like the proverbial moth to the proverbial flame. "Where is the crystal now? and what has it attracted?"

Also, could I have a notice Roll DC10 to spot the weapons have become active. +2 bonus from Osprey marking them, +2 bonus from having studied the Havens blueprints.

And so we have the four special forces operatives acting as Antibodies to you pesky intruders. First off, Osprey can get a surprise attack in because they are flat footed next to him. Then we shall go to initiative. 1d20+2=19 for the Antibodies

GM The central AI spoke, Vera briefly flashed to light as Lucy spoke to it. "All Security Clearance have been reset, Agnus Stone. Activating project Antibody. My apologies Agnus Stone, the Haven is now closed. All individuals without clearance are to be deactivated for Project Antibody..." As she spoke, the floor panels near Osprey slid, almost silently, open. The four caskets underneath also opened, like beautiful black silent petals. Inside, four special forces operatives, apparently asleep. Until their eyes opened. Each was clearly the subject of advanced surgery and cybernetic implantation. Steel and plastic gripped their skull, draped over their right eye, with tendrils and tubes running in and out of their chests and right arm. "Deactivate intruders!" they said, without inflection, in unison. And then, they stood up...

GM Southside Boardwalk... ...The Southside Palace... Miss Grue had read Mr. Swish's mind - literally - and new his destination and direction. It was not difficult to follow him, although he had a head start and the streets where crowded. She caught up, and caught site of him just as he was entering the Southside Palace, the biggest and oldest casino on the Board walk. Even at this time, it was busy. Rows upon rows of slot machines jingled away with an assorted variety of beeps, whistles and, every now and again, flutter of coins being ejected. Ladys of leisure, with money and time, were the most common sitters on these addictive machines, but they could hook nearly anybody as far as Daphne could see. She swore she could even see a nun cranking an arm on one of them. Mr. Swish went straight for the big tables, though, full of big money, big stakes, and big men in dark suits and dark glasses keeping careful watch over the proceedings. Most pressingly, there were two doormen who blocked her way even if she could see inside for a few moments. No Minors Said a blatant and accurate sign. No Minors! added the Mother Ship Unit, in her head, with a *tsk*

Harry Yelped, and dove for cover, transforming once more into a mangy dog. No point having hands if he couldn't search through those files. Not that they seemed particular interesting or suspicious. The cover was pretty solid, he realised. Nobody would know what was happening. Perhaps, with a fine toothcombe they might find some account irregularities. After all, he guessed the operation would have to launder money, or ship things in and out. There were logistics to be dealt with for an operation like this - and whoever run it would need some semi legitimate way of managing those logistics. Unless he was a genius. In dog form his nose came alive again, and the ground seemed nearer. Frightened as ever, Harry tried to scuttle out of the flashlight beam, and into a hiding place.

"Of course madam" replied Rene "I wouldn't dare press you for a name, or twist your professionalism. You are doing a grand old job, in T' Armour" he added, unconsciously taking delight in t' accent. "And in impressive set of bolts it is too, madam. I am no engineer but it looks splendid, magnificent! A sort of cubist, futurist mentality to its movements. Not my taste normally, but it does have a dynamic presentation" He brought himself to his concern. "But, see here, I wont press you on your employers name" I can guess who she is "but what exactly are you paid to do? I do not fancy getting trampled under those iron feet for some infraction that I had no forewarning of!"

GM "Henri! Don't!" yelled Rene on instinct. The Priest looked like he could handle a pistol, which was an unlikely set of circumstances, and one Rene resolved to ask him about later. But he was drawing fire, and he did not have any magical trinkets to ward of bullets. He shouted at the men advancing "I could blast you at any time with lightning and fire! haha! Its not bullets you should worry about, its me! And unlike the father here, killing me wont send you to hell!" To emphasise his point, still behind the tree, he swung his arm and eye over the landscape, another furious crackle of lightning wandering with it, sparks flying and bright light illuminating the many shapes and shadows of the forest. He could only hope his ruse worked, and the bandits did the sensible thing of firing at him...

Ill try a bluff roll to trick them into attacking me: 1d20+6=18 with the -5 penalty. Except that was using "old" Rene so, a roll of 12 with +6 for his skill and -5 for move action actually makes 11! And then another blast of lightning: 1d20+8=26 Which should hit, so another DC 21 Toughness roll?

Thanks. I think that complication will need a bit of trying out in practice, see how it goes. Prompting "checks" never sits particularly well with me for a complication, because that means your complication will be uncomplicated if you pass the check! Having said all that... APPROVED And enjoy -
GM The Manager checked the identification and his own records. "Ah yes, I see you have a reservation" he replied in excellent English. "Welcome to the Emerald, Mr. Sloane. And..your...bodyguard" he smiled at Sergeant K. "I can understand you taking precautions, of course, with your wealth and the particular and unfortunate problems that mar this Olympiad. I can of course assure you that our security systems here are world class!" he said, the hint of an upturned nose at the somewhat scared and unprofessional looking K. "I appreciate your reaction to the events, and apologise for any inconvenience" he said, in response to the critique of the place. He believed Erick, but he became defensive and irritated when challenged, rather than frightened. "Please let me send up a bottle of Champagne to your room, courtesy of the management" he smiled. "The 2011 DeVigny, I think" he smiled. Erick new that year and producer. The worst, and cheapest Champagne in the last decade, courtesy of unusually inconvenient weather in that year, and a series of mismanaged production. Stock prices had fell in response. And of course, the snooty manager knew that Erick knew.
