  1. That does indeed hit! And is a critical hit! The Anomaly is not alive, but a psychic projection of Collapse. Hence, immune to Fort Saves And, unfortunately, it has a damage 10 aura!!! So, net result...DC 25 Toughness Save for Velocity!
  2. As the T Rex (...were there not two? ) is out, we move to... Round 3: 66 - Velocity - 2 HP - Unharmed 51 - Anomaly - Unharmed 23 - John S - Bruised, Staggered 22 - Hronos - 1 HP Meaning Velocity is up!
  3. That sounds very plausible! Ill treat that as an improvised weapon [T-Rex]!
  4. 1d20+13=14 another spectacular fail, and a knock out.
  5. GM Fast... Or was it? The anomaly was drifting down to the Null Dome, but at mind bending speed. Perhaps it was not that the anomaly was fast, but that everything around it, the whole universe, seemed to be running at treacle-speed slowness in comparison. It was hardly exerting itself, it just bent time around it, and swam through it. As it drew closer, it hurt to look at, having more than four dimensions, empty and full at the same time. It was not human, but human shaped, a psychic projection of Collapse, a manifestation of his power, limited and dull of mind, singular of purpose, bent towards its will. And it streaked towards John Smith. John had millenia of experience in fighting, and new every trick of warfare and combat ever devised. He had never studied, but he didn't need too. He was an expert just by centuries upon centuries of conflict. He twisted and turned, but was no match for the distortion of Collapse. He was hit by the manifestation, and lifted to the air, wracked with pain, broken and bruised...
  6. The Anomaly will whizz down to John Smith! Fast 1d20+20=35 Hits. DC 25 Toughness Save 1d20+4=11 fail by 14, so Bruised, Dazed, Staggered. Hronos is up
  7. "Serenade?" pondered Rene, putting down his paintbrush. He was accustomed to the odd vision from his paintings, but rarely had he been gripped by such an automatisism, and never with such force. "The walls of dreaming are thin, today, are they not? Thinner than they normally are..." And normally they were thinner than most people thought them. "Something leaking onto Canvas, and it is not my ink. Serenade...Serenade....what is this? A lovers song? And it came when you mentioned that the troubles are inconstant, mercurial. One cannot find them, which I am not surprised to hear, for such is the nature of dreams. The other side of reality. Is this a compass to finding them?" "Serande?" he asked once again to Mona. "Does this mean anything to you?"
  8. Editted last post for the vomitus. Leave the sneaking for you I think?
  9. "That is not good!" declared Rene to all and sundry. The musket shot bit into the driver, who slumped. The Carriage followed suit. "Horses, damn them! Too many legs!" he complained, and jumped beside the driver to grab the reins. It was hard to concentrate when he was being shot at, especially when the memory of being nearly shot to death was so fresh in his memory. But the carriage tumbling and splintering was a more vivid picture to his imagination, a horrible mess of broken wood, bone, and flesh, liberally daubed with claret. The horses were no doubt going to be startled by musket fire. He pulled up the reins, trying to get them to slow down, or stop. But if not, at least drive in a straight line...
  10. Well I think he better grab the reins! Not sure if you need a roll for that...
  11. GM With Frankenbolts at the wheel - and it must be said, he drove to perfection - and a siren blaring, it was barely a minute to Big Bobs Bangers. He buzzed furiously, and Dee was sure she could smell some ozone wafting from his overloaded circuits. The drive was pretty furious and fast. Rost pushed back her hair - if she was jostled by the rollercoaster ride, she didn't show it. Much. Instead, she kept on her laptop and clicked the occasional key. It was connected to some small, compact sensor at the back. "We still have some residual readings...faint, but there....the bridge isn't completely closed...oh my....there may be another build up..." she said, shrill with anxiety, excitement, or both. As the car screeched to a halt outside Big Bobs, Frankbolt sizzled quietly in the drivers seat, whilst Rost stepped out and pushed her glasses back on to her face. "Fascinating!"
  12. 1d20+5=12 Mess Notice stuff good
  13. GM Bob looked rather dazed as he Alexander spoke, and looked around. The rest of the restaurant - or diner - was looking around a bit uncomfortably, scratching their heads. "Did you just feel something hot?" "Was that a breeze?" But nothing like the experience he had Alexander had had. They took the full blast - literally. "Don't tell me you didn't just feel something?" he said, wiping his sweating brow and rubbing his hands on a slightly grubby apron. "Light, explosions, heat? I am going crazy or something?" he sat down in a chair, slumped, besides Alex and took his own pulse. "Am I? My great uncle, he had epilepsy, he had all sorts of funny quaint feelings before he had a turn..." he mumbled, staring at his hands, willing them to stay still. "I'm not having a fit, am I?" he asked. Meanwhile... The Ministry car, driven by Frankenbolts, with a siren on top, was steaming towards Bob's Bangers...
  14. Ok so the Mess is going to Mess himself up, and vomit out his blood to act in his blood form. Thats a full round action but I guess thats not so relevant. It pushes his stealth up to +15 but means he will leave a blood trail as per complication (which may or may not be an actual complication. Hey, he aint bright). 1d20+15=23
  15. Thats what I thought!
  16. Also, could I clarify who has the Stopwatch?
  17. Carmen actually smiled at Dennis for a moment. "What are you? a church bell ringer in your day off? when did you become an expert on church bells?" she asked, half teasing him. Still, his insight was of use. And she didn't fancy having Tazel wait outside the church whilst she went to investigate. "Lock and load then ladies and gents...and keep your heads up!" she commanded. Fire me up Tazel! she commanded the imp, ignoring his quip. Once again, she felt the infernal fire course through her blood, warming her and filling her with power, as smoke and tongues of flame poured from her body. "The kid said be careful, and that sounds like mighty fine advice to me! Lets go see what the watchtower has to say for itself. Because something is apparently watching us..."
  18. GM The T Rex thrashed about wildly, its head ringing from the mighty blow of Hronos. The cybernetic device at the back of its head was emitting a shrill beeping noise and glowing an angry red. A warning? a malfunction? whatever it was, it didn't sound or look good. Meanwhile, above, the breach was complete. As Velocity and Robert left (or in Robert's case, stumbled in a drunken flop) out of the Null Dome, there was a peculiar flash of silence above them. What it was? A nothingness and a presence at the same time. It was hard to look at, and impossible to not look at. It was man shaped, but not a man, a shimmering, an absence, a presence, a distortion in time and space. "An anomaly" said a briefly sage Robert, stunned at the disturbance that formed far above them, as time around it slowed like sludge at it swept like a hawk through the slowed time towards the Null Dome.
  19. So the T Rex is dazed this round, which brings us to... Collapse Anomaly Initiative 1d20+40=51! Round 2: 66 - Velocity - 2 HP - Unharmed 51 - Collapse Anomaly - Unharmed (In Air) 23 - John S - 0 HP - Unharmed [Hidden in Jungle] 22 - Hronos - 2 HP - Fatigued 7 T - Rex - Bruised, Staggered
  20. 1d20+9=22 made!
  21. Picked up by Vahn - as Fatigued, -1 to attack would have missed, so Hronos spending an HP to reroll and automatically hit to cause above effects (down to 2HP)
  22. Ok so Mess has 1 bruise already, but as per chat, limited immunity to bludgeoning damage reduces punches to DC 22 Tough. Save 1: 1d20+9=10 ok that is plain too bad, so I will spend that earned HP to reroll that. Its to early to get pounded into staggered. 1d20+9=16 with the +10 bonus will shake it off completely. Save 2: 1d20+9=21 Just misses, so thats another bruise, which is fine. I like the bruises! Now, grapple roll: Fully boosted, his Grapple Bonus is +10 Attack, +10 Strength Bonus, and +6 Super Strength (I guess he has about 8 rounds left fully boosted). So thats a +26 Bonus. 1d20+26=30 is not so good, so he is pinned.
  23. 1d20+14=18 A bad toughness roll means stunned, dazed, staggered. The Grapple roll: Its grapple bonus is +31 Total to (+9 Strength, +14 Attack, +8 from Growth 8) and it gets: 1d20+31=49 far too high. So a good hit, but no grapple.
  24. Carmen felt Tazel's silence and for once, felt like she wanted his words of... ...wisdom? No. But perhaps just his voice. The lying snake would twist everything around, of course, but somehow, she wanted his company. Tazel, I'm sure you have a thing or two to laugh at now? Consider yourself free to laugh. She straightened up in front of Felipe. "Your brother? Georges?" she asked, looking around in response to Felipes words. They were creepy words. "I can stop him and help him, Felipe. But why is he...doing all of...this?" she asked, waving her arms around, lost for words. She wondered just what the child understood, and what he would understand. And she didn't want to frighten him more. "And what has..err...Acheron...errr...." she struggled "...George Louis....errr...." she faltered. Who was Archeron? was he Georges? or just named after the two twins? "...never mind..." she finished, weakly. "Why is Georges doing all of this?" she asked again, steering herself back to a question the child could hopefully answer.
  25. Ok. So, Velocity is taking her action to move her and Robert out of the Dome. John S is remaining hidden, for now. Meaning Hronos is up!
