thats pretty awesome! So for starters, its clear the truck was transporting the strange purple liquid, and that it is transforming people (and rats) into Gorilla-human hybrids. The truck was poorly storing the chemicals - hence the leak. It looks (Civics skill is good enough for John to know) like this was a cheap and illegal transport. The paperwork in the truck shows it was going to be delivered to the circus in town - "PRIMAL FEAR", a circus/horror show hybrid. John remembers something about Primal Fear being caught up in some scandal and forcibly shut down / removed from a couple of medium sized cities near Bedlam.

GM The Gorilla-Men quickly fell to the punches of the Tattered Man. There was no doubt - they were strong, tough, even rageful, but they all of them had lost their human intelligence. They were barely able to string together a few words. "Ugh!" "ooof!" "Grrr!" And so on where the responses to blocking the tattered Man's fists with their face. They had little or no fighting skill; a form of brutality and ferocity, yes, but no finesse. In the blink of an eye, John had knocked them all out. With sleep, came a reversion back to their human selves - although with ripped and torn clothes. They actually looked peaceful in their knocked out slumber; free from whatever transformation had been inflicted on them. And the purple liquid? It was still oozing from the truck. John could feel the chemical trying to wrestle with his body; try to make it Gorilla-form. But he had been dead, and the chemical seemed to be unable to penetrate that protection!

GM And so... The swamp continued to fester and bubble, continued to smell like disease and rot, but at least it emitted no giant tentacles. Several times, Blackstaff and Golden Star could spot something moving in the black waters, or in the strangulating flora that stretched across the swamp. But for the most part it was a curious frog, or a fishing bird. the Cove itself was well hidden from casual sight, but once you knew it was there, it was plain to see. A curved hole, muddy, rocky, leaing into a dark cave. Sea water lapped against the sides of the tunnel. It was, predictably, pitch black. "Lamentably, I cannot see without light," said Armitage. "And, foolishly, I forgot my flashlight..." He seemed irritated with himself, and nevrous too.

Gamma Buzz "Take that, you buncha bastardo's!" yelled Gamma Buzz, slamming his radioactive fists together. Seeing only one of the vile villains was still standing, Baltazar backflipped, forward flipped, and cartwheeled around his adversary with amazing cockroach speed and cockroach agility. Then, with a final spin, he drove his fist as hard as he could into the gut of thse Starlight. "And you can double take that, courtesy of Gamma Buzz!" he yelled as his fist did its radioactive work!

GM The Professor sniffed. The inhalation of fetid swamp fumes made him gag. "I see. I peculiar state of affairs, and a lamentable one... He gazed at the setting sun. It did, at least, provide a slight relief from the humid heat of Tezville. "Then I suggest we make reasonable haste. Clearly the sorcerer behind these events has made the swamp his own. Their may be danger ahead." "I should have the wreath!" complained mr Dickens. "I left it in my house, buffoon!" replied Armitage. "And however much you think we need it, I can assure you it is cursed, and we have more than enough cursage right now!"

GM "Out of time? Whatever do you mean?" replied Armitage, stroking his beard with one hand and mopping his brow with the other. "Do you mean your powers are linked to sunlight, or something? Perhaps some astrological or alchemical process?" "I would rather not rush this. The fate of this continent is at stake. Well, perhaps I magnify the threat, but... perhaps not. There is dark design behind all of this, trust me." He turned to Blackstaff. "Would you not agree, sir? Someone is cursing this continent with frightful will and cunning design. Very clever... no direct spell, just bringing smuggling cursed artifacts to the shores!"

Gamma Buzz "Ahoy they, partner! I'll lend a hand!" A three fingered, half cockroach hand to be precise. With a leap, a bound, a hop and a sprint, Baz followed Mizuki. "Let me know what kind of moral support you would like! I can emit harmless non-lethal radiation at will! Bzzzt! Pow! Zap!" He fired a few radiation beams from his eyes (into the sky) to illustrate the point. And to release some pressure. The nuclear fires in his thorax were building up. Maybe the excitement, the adrenaline had accelerated the nuclear reaction within. Whatever the case, he had to release the energy, or something rather unpleasant would happen. Not all radiation was harmless and non lethal. "See! And I can almost swim, too, if that helps! At least, I am very good at leaping into the water, and thats the important part, right?"

Diamondlight Vampires? No... really? Vampires? Well... this was Freedom City. Strange things were everyday. But August Zoss had never met any vampires. If that was what they were? His forcefield kept on shining. As far as he knew, it wasnt ultravoilet, but it did at least illuminate the park. And vampires preferred the dark. And that couple - innocent looking. But not innocent. "Dont bluff a bluffer" he answered. "You kill that man, and you have no cards left to deal. I'm not a killer, but you are already dead, so I wont be holding back. None of us will." How soon was sunrise, he wondered? He didnt risk a look at his watch. His eyes were firmly on the scene in front of him. How fast would they be? Faster than his teleportation? Maybe... but was maybe good enough?

As per chat - ill take the liberty of rolling the take down effects. You can take 10 as they are minions, auto hitting them all. 5 Gorillas left 17 22 15 24 29 I think its a DC 23 Tough save so you can knock down a total of 4 with 2 left upstanding. Does that sound ok?

Starshot "That must be them...." said Starshot, before he curtailed his excitement. Must was a strong word. "Sorry Doc. Getting ahead of myself. Sure looks like them." He steered the Xeno at a more leisurely pace, heading to ground level, still keeping good distance away. "Help yourself to the scanners. I know a bit of zoology, but this is way beyond me. I'll help if I can, but you look like you got this..." "Lets try to Confirm those are Sarcota? And if they are in good help. Infected, maybe? Some pathogens can drive animals mad. If the Sarcota are even animals. And those mountain ranges? Anything unusual about them?" Something was tingling in the back of his neck. Perhaps his cybernetic implants. Perhaps some sixth sense...

GM For a moment there was silence. "Well done, splendid job!" said Professor Armitage with a nod. Tom Dickens said not a word. He let his feet do the talking, and started to run back the way they came. Fatboy, with tentacle welts over his belly, was shaking but had enough clout to maintain vocal composure. "That's one to tell the Grandchildren. See! I told you this place was cursed! Something in this water..." The other bikers nodded, none of them keen to show their fear, although it was quite evident from their sweaty skin and wide eyes. Fatboy got up, cocked his shotgun. "Professor, hero boys, the chuggers dont run from trouble, but this is lunacy. You can see the cove, good luck!" With that, he lead the bikers - carefully - in a reverse direction and walked away, down the magic bridge, back to their bikes.

Roger! Blowfish is going to strike a zombie with his crowbar 15 which hits 14 on tough save which is enough to have its head caved in (in zombie style). For fun, the crowbar will be torn out of Blowfishes grip. 9 Remaining zombies 4 will swipe Chimera 4 will swipe Blowfish 1 will pick up a grenade... yes! These Zombies have INT above 0! 7 22 18 13 10 4 6 and 16 That is two zombie fists on Chimera - thus two DC 17 Tough Saves And one for Blowfish who rolls 10 - Bruised and Dazed.

Gamma Buzz "Looks like its time for me to leap into action, right Timeout? You know how awesome I am at leaping into action... ... ...Behold!" Gamma Buzz lit up - his body glowing like a green radioactive tomato. And then he did indeed leap! Straight down, like a falling arrow, or pointy missile, his fist straight out. "Fear the fist of vengeance!" he added, making something up on the spot that he thought sounded cool.

GM Golden Star grabbed the floundering biker, who was sinking rapidly. By the time the Golden Kid has took a hold of him, only two splashing hands were above the water. And it was foul water. Or maybe something in it was foul. This close, with flailing limbs and bubbling bubbles, two spears of noxious odour went straight up Golden Stars nose. And the smell would not win any wards in a perfumry contest, that was for sure. Golden Star lifted the biker two feet up - so he could at least breathe, when he felt resistance. It was a tug of war! Something was pulling the Biker back to the swampy depths. And it was strong! But not as strong as Golden Star, who one the battle. And, fortunately, did so without tearing the biker in twain!

Gamma Buzz "Awesome!" Baz was blazing green in fury, and now that Lawrence had given the flag to act, Baz didn't hesitate. He wanted to wipe that snide grin right off the kids face. Not much would make Baz cruel, but mocking his appearance touched a nerve that would jangle. It made him dangerous. So black in mood that he even felt a little voice tell him to really let rip - let loose the properly lethal nuclear fires in his belly. But he was sixteen, a kid, and that was a black road he never wanted to go down. Instead, he leapt on to the rollercoaster structure above them, clinging to it with his amazing cockroach powers. "Behold! Buzzilla!" he roared, channeling his inner Kaiju. He exhaled a stream of gamma radiation - his non lethal kind - on the idiots below him.

Baz will Move action: Jump up onto some of the rollecroster (wall crawling to stick on it) Then breathe down some atomic breath! - Im guessing I could probably get all three in the breath, but if not just allocate whatever seems sensible to you. The breath itself is Damage 8 (Extras: Area [Cone], Alternate Save [Fortitude], Feats: Reduced Area 6 [20-80' Cone], Incurable, Insidious) [32/32 PP] "Nuclear Breath" Do a DC 18 Fort Save (and a DC 18 Reflex save for area effects). The oddity being it is insidious, so they wont know they are damaged etc (that cellular disruption...)
