"As long as I wont get shot, I think a farewell is always deserved" replied Rene, rubbing his chest. Despite having healed, it still tingled, a psychosomatic pain. The memory of it was livid in his mind. A little explosion of pain tunnelling through his body and white light in his eyes from the shock. "But I can assure you, getting shot is no fun. Once is quite enough for me..." He pondered how he had nearly died that night. "Although, it seems to me that I can sleep more easily. As I have seen that I survive to at least some semblance of old age" he said, contemplating his future self who had spoken to him. "Although on the other hand, I should not tempt the fates, should I?" "Well, it is time to say farewells at Rennes-le-Chatea...and I imagine a farewell to you, as well..."

GM The door slid open, its circuits fried, but still silent in movement. Inside were the featureless white walls that gave a sense of infinity. One could not discern wall from ceiling from floor. It was all to easy to bump into a wall. It was identical in nature to the room where Velocity had conferred with the Future Robert. The only land mark, so to speak, was a man. His skin was flawless, and not a single follicle of hair was to be seen. He was dressed in what could only be described as a skin tight spandex costume, again, without a mark, over his entire body up to his neck. His eyes were purest green in colour. His features were striking, but not handsome or ugly, more chiselled and sharp. "How may I be of service?" he asked in beautiful melodic tones. All that was missing was wind chimes.

Rene "Un petit favor?" asked Rene in reply, ushering Lucy in. "I see you have brought some wine" he commented, taking the bottle with eager hands and uncorking it with a snap of his fingers. He didn't, as a whole, have much time for cantrips and formal magic. But he had diligently studied the spell of uncorking and had never forgotten it. "A rich, complex flavour! Ze aroma reminds me of mushrooms in a damp forest, with ze subtle blending of elderflowers and rosemary" he sighed. It was probably out of fashion these days. But he loved the smell of the past. "With such a fine vintage, Madame, you can ask me anything. Well, nearly anything..." he said with a wink.

1d20+5=13 The lug fails!
-
1d20+12=25 done! So where are we in terms of position and initiative ?
-
Yeah I can go with a +2 Situational bonus with Infrared as you can see the man is hypothermic too (from blood loss)

What Thev said. Equipment on minions is justifiable, but only if they are only reasonably going to be used by the minion (e.g. They get a revolver when you can naturally shoot out lightning bolts). If the Birthing unit is being bought as a vehicle, buying powers for it is fine. It could get more complicated if you are summoning a vehicle.

"Yeah!" said the Hound, gulping and swallowing his considerable fear. "You guys, you gonna get yer ass whipped by a girl! whaddya think about that? not so tough now, are yer? having to fight ladies..." he said, sneering and hopping from foot to foot - a dance driven by both anxiety and the sincere desire not to get smashed in the face by an exceedingly powerful fist. He jabbed at the other guy, and gave him a firm shove, after hooking his foot around his ankle. "Ner ner ner ner ner!" he sang, summoning all his memories of childhood taunts at school.

Move Action: Taunt the other guy at -5 bluff check. Taking skill mastery on that for a DC 15 intimidate effect. Ok, next up, a standard action: so Shifting Defensive Attack +2 Defence, -2 Attack and making a trip attack. 1d20+8=22 I will guess that hits? His opposed trip roll is +2 base attack, and +4 from Improved Trip attack: 1d20+6=24 which is kind of good. Also, seeing as these two look stronger than they are agile, I choose they defend with Dexterity/Acrobatics rather than Strength!

"I see ya, ya damn bozo!" yelled the Mess through bloody lips. And they where, quite literally, lips made of blood. His whole homunculus body oozed. When he spoke there was a funny gurgling sound. His blood was his power, super charged and fizzing, and he carried on bounding through the streets of Freedom City like a rocket, leaving a trail of bloody patches en route. "Why don't ya stop and hang around a while?" he shouted as he downed his head and aimed his bloody form straight at the fleeing villain. He was fast, and his aim was true, but he was not quite fast enough - with the Hangman moving away at the last minute leaving the Mess oozing past him, full of frustration.

Carmen swung forth both arms, and in pure frustration, the power of the infernal forge flew though her bones and muscles, and into whip like chains that swung in mighty arcs into the wall. With a double crunch, they slammed into the masonry, and spikes and curves held them there. Concentrate... She hadn't done this before. Her arm's ached with the effort, as she pulled forth, the chains coiling up and pulling her with them. As she raised herself after the mysterious John, she opened her mouth to swallow Tazel once again. Fire me up! And once again, the smoke and wisps of flame engulfed her body, and she was Pitch.

RIght after chat with TT, Mess will do a full on charge at the Hangman. As per house rules, an attack at +2 bonus and a -2 Defence penalty. However, Ill shift those back by defensive attacking at -2/+2, so no net change. As he is in Liquid (Blood form) Attack is +12, Damage is +8 1d20+12=20 for the attack. Close I guess, one way or the other. If it hits, its a DC 23 Toughness save and a lot of blood!

Id say, in response to the IC post, just trying to catch up with him. Dont know how fast that is, and if she even can, and if she can, how long it would take. Leave that to your call, but if she does get close she will try to grapple him. Swallowing back Tazel as a free action on the way up! (and alt form activated) For reference Ill take the fatigue from that stunt, and yeah, wall crawling / speed sounds a good way of doing it, although I suppose it could also work as elongation (chain extentions of arms) with wall walking extra?

Thanks Thev, editted. For reference, the two vans IC arrive simultaneously (for the purposes of PLOT). The environment by the docks is low light level. There are plenty of crates, corners, and so on to take cover in or hide behind. There are four men lying on the floor bound (rather than the five Osprey defeated), and one is severely injured. Hard to see at this distance but a DC 15 Medicine Roll will notice he will bleed out within minutes. A -10 Penalty to that roll unless you have extended visual senses.
-
GM A little later... at Deptford Docks... At this time of night, an unmarked van with a flashing blue (silent) light could make excellent time, even through the streets of London. Two ministry agents were in the front, propelling the new Vanguard to Deptford Docks as soon as possible. There were thugs on the ground, that was for sure, and one of them looked in bad shape, bleeding out as they screeched to a halt. "Damn Osprey...these guys might be street criminals, but he is brutal..." muttered one of the agents. The night was dark, but London always had lights. In the dim shadows, by one of the ships that had ported by the docks, a ship that was carrying the superdrug Max into the capital, a shadowy figure could be seen - just for a moment - in silhouette. At the same time... Bullet Tony and Osprey had been strip cuffed, and were with Big Nelson and four of his toughs, all armed with auutomatic weapons and balaclava's. "This night gets better and better don't it?" grinned Bullet Tony, sardonically. "Shut it, Bullet!" snapped Nelson "I want to find out just why there are two Osprey's running around London. One of them is causing enough havoc for the middleman. Two..." He clicked off the safety of his weapon. "Is something we sort out..." As their van screeched to a halt it almost mirrored that of the Ministry's unmarked Van. "Heads up!" muttered Nelson "We got company. Some rival gang...could be the Mafia....or the Triads....circling like vultures..."

In which case I am awading Catalyst an HP for being without her Device (granted part of device gets a discount for removable, but starting a thread without it I feel warrants and HP) Catalyst - 2 HP - Fatigued Synapse - 1HP - Unharmed Young Brittania - 1 HP - Fatigued Osprey - 2 HP - Unharmed (Hands bound!)

That will destroy the lock! But will it alert who is inside? Velocity - Unharmed - 2 HP Hronos - Unharmed - 0 HP

Main comment: Dynamic on those powers is going to be a major problem - there are so many configurations of toughness, strength, con, attack, defence it blows the mind (and probably caps with one of them). I would personally keep it simple and keep them alt powers. Some of that array seems a little odd. Concealment to all senses is a bit peculiar (mental? olfactory?) still, you could justify it. However, I don't know about flight for Grue - does any Grue have it? particularly at that speed. What might make sense if, if you loose the dynamic feats and free up a few points, is to link Insubstantial with a two or three ranks of flight to represent a weightless floaty flight (like the vision). On that note, bear in mind insubstantial is noticible by default sho she would look wispy or faint or something (subtle would buy this off). The other issue is the Mother Unit. the way you describe it - at least in big size, would be a vehicle. If it dissapears to a small cube or something you could build it like a summon vehicle power in a device (the Infernalist in Book of Magic has this power) I cant do the maths off the top of my head but something like: Device x (Easy to lose, Restricted: Grue) - Small cube! Device Power: Summon x (?PP/EP Worth of Vehicle, Extras: Continuous) You would have to be careful not to abuse this of course, the Vehicle probably shouldn't have powers other than movement as that would be abusive, but it could have flight, space travel, and so on. So on that note you would probably have to move the force field, data link, and comprehend powers to somewhere else - either inherent or a magic tiara or something. Still, the Device to summon a vehicle would be pretty cheap!

So the dome, like all the materials in this super tech site, has a toughness of +20. You can I am sure break through eventually, but it would take time (and noise!) The electronic lock would take DC 30 Disable Device to disarm. Of course, open to other suggestions how to penetrate the dome with nifty super powers!
-
GM The lumbering dinosaurs where large and a little ungainly, but moved at a considerable pace. Even if they could easily outrun a man, they could not hold a candle to the incredible speed of velocity. Whilst she could draw them out to a certain distance, at that point they seemed to stop, as if irritated or in pain. The cybernetic implant was, it seemed, a leash of sorts - stray too far from the dome and punishment kicked into their primitive brain. "That's our cue" said Smith, as he crept forward to the Dome - he was silent and fast, moving through the undergrowth as a man of his unparalleled experience would do. the dome itself was almost featureless, made of a smooth metal which could not be recognised but appeared highly tough and resilient. One could hardly scratch it's super hard surface. There was only one door, almost blending in with the rest of the dome, with what appeared to be an electronic lock by its side.

Ok, the glasses work! (Yeah I pretty much should have said he was using that!) Ill let you post to that effect (and what he finds?) if thats ok. Basically he is just following the mists of dooooom!

1d20+13=24 for Rene. If it is of any relevance, Ill throw one in for Deadbeat too, although he is staying put by the controls: 1d20+5=12

"Hey Lance" said Freddie, giving the policeman a big grin and plonking himself down on the nearest chair. "Lance old buddy, I need your brain once more" conceded Harry, placing his hands in his mac pockets and lovingly carressing the cigar packet he had there, resisting the temptation to stink out Lance's flat by lighting one up. "Me and my partner here, we think we got some super powered thief down at the docks. Someone real strong, you know the score, lifting like a fork lift truck. Grabbed some huge statue clean out of the ship like it was a paper doll, or so I guess. No sign of any heavy machinery" "Then, we found this" he finished, showing Lance the hair. "Super tough. Not normally hair. And scent like perfume. I think we got ourselves some kind of super strong thief. A real swell gal, I'm sure. Someone we...errr....well, my partners would very much like to meet. Thing is, we got our heads a' scratchin. Who could it be?" "So I was wonderin' if there is any word out in FCPD? we got any escaped supervillain of the female gender persuasion running around at the moment?"

Ok so Pulling mind out of Dreamlands (so no longer having Will immunity - which might be interesting!) and bringing Deadbeat out of the Dreamtime (Summon power array). Then, I guess Rene will start looking around, whilst Deadbeat stays y the controls and ensures that the music keeps piping. Want a notice roll or anything?

"I will, Monsieur!" he said. "But, be aware!" he continued, theatrically. "Monsieur Jingles is not a creature of Flesh and Bone. He will not be defeated by a mighty punch, or a bolt of lightning" he explained, although he knew he was speculating. He gave a flex of his old arm, devoid of any significant musculature to emphasise the point. "Jungles is a creature of ze spirit. Of dreams, of nightmares, of desires, wishes, and fears. I fancy he will be defeated by brave heart and courage. And perhaps even, joy..." he smiled. But, having said that, I shall indeed seek him! And I know an old friend of fearless soul, who may just help. And, I think, can help us with the music for the evening. Rene had no mood for cold silences in the Circus. He drew his mind out of the dreamworlds, and dragged something back with it. From around a corner, Henri Zenon appeared. He was a slightly short, mixed race man with grey hair, wearing a neat combination old style suit and shoes, complete with bow tie, braces, and trousers, like he had stepped out of a music hall. He was whistling a gay, rag time tune as he appeared. "My friend here, they call Deadbeat" said Rene, embracing his old friend affectionately. "He can whip up a song and rhythm like no other. And I fancy we will need a gay tune tonight!" he laughed, trying to keep everyones spirits up.
