  1. Pitch caught the tension, the chain snapping taught as she held it in her hand, wrapped around her fist. Damn..heavy... She felt the power of Tazel bubbling up inside her, and her own fury powering her body. Not for the first time, she was damn thankful that Tazel was completely enslaved to her. If he had chosen to withdraw his strength... Her bike screeched and wobbled, burning rubber to add to the plume of smoke her body and chains belched. Without mercy for such creatures, she held on, revving her engine as hard as it would go, and dragging the infernal creature along the road, scratching it's corpreal form all over the tarmac. "Another one bites the dust!" she roared above the engine and clanking of chains, the Queen song playing in her head.
  2. 1d20+6=17 broooooooooooM!
  3. How does this Gaes work? I'll let Rene punch one of them! 1d20+4=18 That's a mighty DC 14 TOughness save if it hits!
  4. Robert will try to reclaim his Stopwatch with a sleight of hand roll. He has no skill in it, but has Jack of All Trades. 1d20+2=11 Could Fenris please oppose that with a Notice roll, -2 penalty for being rather distracted and having snow in his face.
  5. So Donny and Duck are going back to the pit entrance to - presumably - seal it up. Vermin (the rat) and Filth are still with Carmen, searching for the cane. They are spreading out however. The rat will stay with Carmen as he(it) is a bit more crafty than poor Filth. Sam can dodge past Filth and Vermin fairly easily. Ill say it a DC 5 DEX check to do so.
  6. GM "I ain't never heard of no alley..." mumbled Billy Brains, unsure of the situation. "I believe her elocution to be a honey-coated falsehood with intent of misleading us as to our singular purpose, my good friend" squarked the high pitched voice of Ted Ticker. "Fortunately, at least one of us has sufficient cognitive astuteness to perceive the paucity of fact in her gambit of deception. However, she might yet impart some degree of accuracy in her otherwise untruthful statement, wheresoforth in relation to her opinion as to the current location of the Gallic rapscallion we inquired about..." he mused. "Guys, quit talking and check it out..." hissed Hatchet, stepping out from the shadows with a steely voice that both Billy and Ted instantly obeyed, scuttling off to the "alley". "Honey, ya pleased to see me?" he laughed without kindness. "Now tell me all ya know about the Frenchy. And about the ace of spades. And don't tighten up that sweet little mouth on ya, or I'll loosen those lips good and proper, and not in a nice way..." he smirked, bringing out a cold, shiny machete from his coat.
  7. GM "The Cantos Cane! Where is it!" shrieked Vermin in his rat hiss. "I dunno" yepled back Filth as Duck shook his head and started to recover from his adrenaline soaked rage. "I put it down just here...maybe it rolled away...maybe..." "You guys are such a bunch of losers. How the hell do you remember how to breathe..." sniggered Carmen behind a mop of unruly blonde hair. "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" screamed Filth, back at her, pulling her hair in some vague attempt to be intimidating. "WHERE IS IT? WHERE IS IT?" he shouted, getting to his knees and looking around the awful refuse of the dump. "Something is here with us! Quick, seal the entrance!" commanded Vermin, who clearly possessed wit in greater abundance than Filth. In response, Duck and Donny rushed towards the hole where they had come through, looking rather scared, as Filth continued to scrabble around for the Cane... His scrabbling taking him closer and closer to Kit, whilst the rat demon Vermin scuttled around, sniffing the air and casting black, horrible eyes around the dimly lit hole...
  8. "By all the curses of the world, not again!" cursed Supercape, his mind picking up the so familiar and distinctive signals of Heavy Metal. Dense, radioactive, Gamma spectrum... ...Solid, animate uranium... ...And completely immune to anything I throw at him.... He had learned from hard experience that he could throw any type of radiation or energy at Heavy Metal, all day, and it would not scratch him. In many ways, Heavy Metal was radiation, and nothing of that form would harm him in the slightest. "Merge! Whoever you are!" he shouted. "Get away! It's Heavy Metal ! I mean he has turned into Heavy...I mean he is a supervill...I mean...oh bother. Just watch out! you are dealing with somebody incredibly powerful and quite insane!!!" he belted as loudly as he could.
  9. Thats an impossible tough save to make, so that minion is down. Post away!
  10. Editted in the Bruise for Crimson Tiger. Blod is up.
  11. Lord Steam pondered the riddle for a moment. "If something does not truly exist?" he asked. "We debate philosophy rather than morals tonight, it seems. Well, it depends on your view on existence. Does an idea exist? Does a feeling, a poem, a love? There is plenty that can said to be insubstantial, untouchable, unmeasurable. And yet they can be stolen. Like a heart" he explained. "And yes, they can be stolen. For even such things, like my thoughts and my spirit, though immaterial, still belong to me. And stealing is taking without permission. On a mundane level, one could steal a copyright, but perhaps you need more dramatic a scene. You could steal me heart, if I would not share it with you willingly..."
  12. GM "$^%£#" shouted back the skiier in a aristocratic German accent. Clearly she was not used to someone interfering with her pampered lifestyle. She shifted her ski's slightly to ensure Fenris got a good showering of snow in his face as she whipped past. "ughhh...whats happening..." moaned Lord Harrow in the arms of Fenris. Meanwhile, the Time Agents were not prepared to lose their prize. Each of them dived into a roll, then a slide, as they slipped down the perilous slopes of the Piste. Fast, but dangerous. Velocity was placed in between them, and became their target. "Out of the way!" yelled their leader. "We only want the Stopwatch!" he explained, as he carefully aimed and fired. The beams spewed this way and that, but by luck rather than judgement one of them grazed Velocity for a second. Clearly he had decided to use firepower in case diplomacy was ineffective.
  13. Ill say it is becomes partial, rather than full concealment, yes. Oh, and another thing! Robert has had a minute unconsious so he gets a recovery roll and... 1d20+1=16..awakens in Fenris arms! 1d20+2=12 for his initiative! Velocity is still up!
  14. Ok, TIme Agents are up. With three following, their move action is going to be sliding down the slope to catch up with Fenris. This makes them prone and flat footed, plus -4 attack penalty. However, they move as if all out, namely 120 feet, to close the gap to 380 feet. They then fire at Megan, who is in the way! 1d20+2=10, 1d20+2=22, 1d20+2=19 so one critical hit, but as a) he is a minion and it would not have hit Megans defence anyway, no modifier. So,, its a Fort DC 16 Stun Effect for Velocity. Round 4 54 - Velocity - Fatigued - 2 HP 12 - Robert - Unharmed 7 - Fenris - Unharmed - 2 HP 6 - Time Agents [3?] - Unharmed, In full slide. THe "map" of distances, as we go down the piste of the resort, I make Time Agents ---- 130 feet ---- Velocity ------ 280 feet ----- Fenris. And Velocity is up! (unless stunned!)
  15. I believe you are staggered? ONly one standard action?
  16. NOtice Roll +15, but for the sake of completeness...1d20+15=23! !
  17. "Mission accomplished!" said Supercape as the nuclear explosion faded from probability. "Thank goodness for parametric n-dimensional quantum tunnelling!" he explained to nobody in particular, wiping his brown and taking pleasure in the chance for an off-the cuff lecture in advanced subatomic physics. He started with a snap. That cloud.... His attention turned once again to Merge, fighting off the cloud- whatever it was - which swarmed over her like bees to honey. A flick of his mind, and a spark of electricity arced around the cloud, pulsing through it. "Thank goodness for nano-event quark static fluctuations!" he lectured once again, pleased with the pretty display. Liebniz... "Thank goodness for...oh dear" he mumbled in anxiety.
  18. OK lets see if I cant finish that cloud off with a straightforward blast: DC 28 Toughness save.
  19. 1d20+12=32 its got luck on its side. El Heraldo is up!
  20. GM "Shiver me timbers!" cliched the Free Booter, dancing with remarkable agility on his classical pirate boots. "You won't catch the Free Booter so easily, M'lady! Yer a rapscallion to think so!" he laughed, spinning around out of her reach. The Free Booter was not all mouth, however. He spun and stretched out his cutlass with remarkable speed, straight at Crimson tiger, before pulling back in one movement, dancing forward, and clonking her head with the handle of his magnificent glowing weapon. "I won't cut ye just yet, just a friendly warning, stay out of my way, lassie. I aim to scuttle this ship, and that's what I'll be doing. Get me in my way, and I'll see yer blood!" he laughed, an iron fist wrapped in velvet. Meanwhile... In the rear of the ship, the Devil Ray exploded out of the water, to land in a crouch on the ship decking. The storm was rising, and the water fell from the sky like the worst of monsoons. "Dammit! Where has that little toad gone?" he cursed to himself, unable to spy Tsunami where he had left her... Meanwhile... "This ship is mine, and it goes where I tell it to!" snapped the Captain. Despite his age, he was limber. He kicked a lever back to "Full ahead", and the engines started rumbling. "And you are a stowaway, lady!" he shouted at Blod, before bringing his shotgun butt down on her heavily. "Get off, or it will be a slug next time!" he explained.
  21. OK, so this is the size of things: Devil Ray: All Out movement. This gets him neatly back onto the back of the Ship. Free Booter: Move Action: Feint 1d20+11=22 Standard Action: Attack, shifted -2 DC, +2 Attack: 1d20+14=33 This should hit no matter what the feint does! So thats a DC 22 Toughness save from Crimson Tiger please. The Captain is taking it easy on Blod. He is flipping the engines back on as a move action, and butting her with his shotgun. Shifting -2 Attack, +2 DC 1d20+10=26 which I think is also a hit, and a DC 20 Toughness save from Blod please. We then move into: Round 6 25 - Blod - 1 HP 24 - Tsunami - Fatigued - Unharmed - 2 HP 21 - Crimson Tiger - Bruised - 4 HP 13 - Devil Ray - Bruised 11 - Free Booter - Unharmed 11 - Captain - Unharmed (I will edit this once I know the results of toughness saves) This means Blod is up!
  22. GM "I'm gonna kill...I'm gonna kill...." yelled Filth at poor Duck, who was struggling still. Filth's eyes darted towards the rat. "I'm gonna kill you!" he blazed at the little demon, his eyes flashing and his hand reaching out. "Wait! This isn't right!" hissed the little demon in Rat, which Kit could now understand perfectly well. "Cant you feel it? something is...manipulating us...forcing us against each other. An influence...it smells of the devil tongue..." he continued, scuttling around, eyes shifting around the dim light. "Wha...? Whatcha mean?" said Filth, through gritted teeth and the faintest peppering of spit running down his chin. "You mean...something here is making us fight each other? You mean her?" he asked, Pointing at Carmen who was grinning at them with a bloodied mouth and a black eye. "No...no....she has been stripped of her power. No...something else....." hissed Vermin, as he peered through the darkness...
  23. Kit - 2 HP - Unharmed
  24. Ok thats a pretty hard bluff, given they have been outside the whole time wtching. DC 25 Bluff roll please!
  25. "Oh fantastic" sighed Supercape, deflating at the thought, his elbow slumping on the polished piano. "So there is someone behind the Lady" he said, wondering about just how dangerous this was, and how out of depth he felt. He could travel to any corner of the multiverse, and had a better conception of the infinite space and time, but this club, and these schemes left him feeling very out of his depth. "And yes, it just so happened she did" he answered. "And I don't know where he is, or how much trouble he is in. I can't say I am desperately well inclined to this man, but he seemed to be sinking in a world he didn't really know. He was desperate for power. And that makes me very concerned. He could do potentially anything..." "Say, how would I go looking for the Lady and any, er, business partners?"
