1d20+7=27 Again, we have notice rolls to see if the emotion control effect was noticed DC 20 1d20+4=6 Filth doesn't 1d20+9=16 and neither does Vermin. At this juncture, I am temped to GM fiat some kind of notice of these effects, for an HP, but I am going to run that past you first. Thoughts?

NPC With the fighters not going anywhere, the Mess clenched his fist and waited for the inevitable fallout from a police raid. He was having flashbacks to his past, underground fighting and police raids a think burnt into his bruised brain. "This ain't good" he muttered to himself. Meanwhile... The Hound, with a few choice elbows throught the crowd, started to follow Hector, only to be blocked off by some of the guards. Damn goons with guns...he cursed to himself. "Hey guys! Its time to move. C'mon! We got to hustle. I'm with Hector, y'know? and the Police are breathing down our necks. It's time to cut our losses and scram, yeah?" he said, all bluster, with fear wet on his forehead.

The can isnt restricted, so you are free to use it as you see wish! YOu may of course wish some complication with regards to its use and Sam's own infernal origins. Of course, this is entirely up to you and backstory so I leave that entirely up to you!
-
As discussed in chat, shifting -2 Att / +2 DC in view of inspire. (At its size, its defence is low!!!) Thats a DC 25 Tough Save for the snake 1d20+12=18 which is bruised and dazed. As it cannot maintain its pin (as a free action), Heraldo slips free!

In the Florence Guest House... Rene had taken the walkie talkie with thanks, and shaken it gently, tapping it, and finally putting it, upside down and the wrong way round to his ear, before nodding his approval. "Wonderful!" he commented. As soon as they were out of eyesight from detective Aaliya, he handed the thing to the King of Suits. "Dreadful" he commented. "I shall never understand modern technology, my friend. In ze old days, I could keep up with the marvels of science, but I fear the pace of change is speedy beyond my tears. He stood inside the Guest House, eyes soaking in what, to his mind, was a wonderful quaintness. "Ah, I could paint here!" he said, with a smile on his face. "How come I never came to Whitby? The fields and green of England are a marvel to the eye. Why I remember young Will Turner and his enthusiasm for..." he drifted of amiably for a few minutes before floating back to the present. "Still, we have our concerns of the moment, eh? come, let us see what this Alculard has to say! I hope you can speak Romanian. I am afraid my Russian is a bit rusty..."

1d20+2=9 for Rene

GM Carmens eyes flicked open for a moment. She was bruised, battered, but not quite yet broken. She had been in some scrapes in her life, but this one was new. She could no longer summon the power of the infernal forge, Tazel was not with her, and even the Cantos Cane had been stripped from her. All she had was her wits and an infernal tattoo down her spine that had left her disabled. She nodded faintly at Kit but gave no other sign of noticing her. With the Cantos cane in her hand, Kit had a unconfortable feeling. Like it didn't quite belong to her, or that it was malign in some way. With the cane in her hand, she could see the Rat as a burning creature from the pits of hell. It appeared to show a burning infernal fire and malignant eyes. It was, she realised a demon. And now, she could understand its hissing. "He is nothing, Filth. A jealous, useless blight on your greatness. Do not let him destroy my...our plan. Slit his throat and have done with him! Be strong!" hissed the demon, in a voice embroided with silk and honey.

EH recognises those beautiful brown eyes! And onto YB!

GM The young girl, held safe in the arms of El Heraldo, was crying and wailing, paralysed with fear. El Heraldo could feel the remnants of cold ice cream trickle from her cone onto his resplendent uniform. The snake continued to constrict, all sixty foot and several tons of muscle conspiring to crush El Heraldo to a pulp. Its head circled, and it peered into El Heraldo's with those big, brown, and very human eyes. They seemed familiar... In an intuitive flash. El Heraldo mentioned them. Eyes he had gazed into with deepest passion, in an age away, in a swamp that was not quite of this world. The unnamed swamp queen. The mistress of malaise...

It will indeed, see Pitch sheet for the Cantos Cane. One of its powers is Animal Comprehension (Speak, understand) limited to animals associated with dev'lry. Including Rats! Very cool! I can see how solo threads suit Kit better? Post away.

Round 3 18 - YB - 3 HP - Unharmed, Inspired (+4) 14 - EH - 4 HP - Holding little girl, bruisedx2, staggered, pinned. 10 - Giant Snake - Unharmed Young Brittania is up!

Sounds good to me!
-
Ah wow! Awesome! Done! Snake is up and will go for a straight crush of El Heraldo, a DC 30 Toughness Save!

You could get 1 rank of inspire, giving a +1 bonus. A +4 Bonus, I think is 4 ranks of inspire. ? (Cha affects number of characters you inspire, not the bonus)

"Ze deal is struck!" said Rene in a slow and rich voice, elevating a finger to the air to indicate its import. "I have had my dealings with vampires in my many years. Although I am not ze expert, I may be of some assistance. As for fighting, well I am a helpless old man, and will surely be of no value to you in such matters. It has been a long time since world war II..." he continued, his mind drifting over the years to his time in the French Resistance, and the ugly magics of the Thule society and Nazi Germany. He did indeed know a bit about vampires, although he had no doubt that Nick Cimitiere or Revenant would be more equipped in that department. Still he knew enough to help, he imagined. "So! Let us meet this misfortunate vampire. Or must we wait for the sun to reach a lower point in ze sky?"

GM Duck started babbling, a red mist falling over his eyes. "Why do you get to be leader?" he spat at Filth. "I want the stick. I want to be leader. I want to stop getting my ass kicked. You just listen to that damn rat nowadays. It's only a stinkin' rat! what the hell are we doing listening to a rat? you listen to it more than you listen to us. That damn stinking piece of vermin!" he said, his voice escalating in pitch and volume. "I'll show you about that damn rat!!!" he screamed, hefting his club and bringing it down with all his might on the broken table that the rat perched on. The force of the blow cracked the table, but the improvised weapon slammed down a few inches from the creature. "What? you gone crazy!" said Filth, pulling his hair in desperation. As Duck lifted his club for another swing, both Filth and Donny started to wrestle with him. "Have you gone out of your god damn mind?" screamed Filth. "This rat told us all about her! about the stick! about how we could capture her! its gonna pull us out of the bottom of the god damn scrap heap!" he screamed, his voice full of desperation.

Eh, sorry BR, that was my mistake. YOu want to target a duck, not a rat Goon Will roll: 1d20+0=2 Yep, he is enraged. Rolling Notice rolls (DC20) to see if Filth or Vermin notice the change (as it is subtle) 1d20+4=5 Filth does not. 1d20+9=14 and neither does Vermin. In response, Duck will throw a surprise attack on Vermin Filth Gangs stats [spolier] Using a scrawny Thug Archetype! STR 10 DEX 10 CON 10 INT 10 WIS 10 CHA 8 Attack +2, Defence +2, Tough +1, Fort +2, Reflex +1, Will +0 Equipment: Leather Jacket (+1 Tough), Club (DC 17 Tough Save) 1d20+4=7 missed the rat. I wont roll further, just rule that Filth and Donny are engaged in grappling / restraining him.

Even as she spoke, Pitch felt the power surge through her body. With her left hand on the handlebars of the bike, keeping in slow and steady, she clenched the Cantos Can in her right. The smouldering became more vital around her body, leaving a plume of smoke behind her as she cruised down the highway, keeping pace with the hellhounds. She had plenty of anger to draw on from her life. It was true, she had had one with many positive and exciting experiences, but there was a well of resentment there. She felt Tazel lapping up her emotions, and power surge through her body, a red mist in her eyes (in more way than one). Her right hand and forearm wrapped itself in a smoky black metal chain, like a fist, before she flung it out like a coiled snake striking, the chain an endless stream of infernally forged metal, that struck one of the hellhounds with a hiss of smoke and fire...

Ok, Free Action: Activating Rage feat (-2 Defence, +4 Strength, +2 Fort and Will) Move Action: Keep Driving! Standard Action: Snare. 1d20+10=19, which I think is a hit.
-
the rat, unfortunately, is a demon and a cunning one at that (even if just a rat) 1d20+8=25 Saved. Initiative rolls please! 1d20+5=8 Rat Demon 1d20+2=11 Filth and 1d20+0=2 for Donny and Duck. The environment is low level light.
-
KD just going to clarify I think thats only 15 feet for a move action (so 30 feet for moving two moves)- more space between you and the time agents of course whilst Velocity dismantles them. Just checking you are ok with that?
-
1d20+7=18 unfortunately it makes its reflex save. El Heraldo is up! (but dazed).
-
"Heads up Axel...." shouted PItch, the flames of Tazel flicking through her mouth. "These fiends are going to touch me, but they can rip you to shreds...Keep that firecracker stick of yours ready" she said, as the tattoo running down her spine tingled. As she gripped the Cantos stick, she could see the infernal flames and horrible nature of the beasts as they sped around. Smoke and smouldering fire dripped off her body as her eyes blazed and she felt the anger that fuelled the infernal forge melt and flow inside her. "Nikki, I hope you can handle yourself..." she muttered. "It's hunting time!!!" she roared in defiance...

Ook lets get this on the road - Scuffs are you gonna do the attention grabbing thing as suggested by SS?
