A few minor points: Could you annotate Knockback as in/out of suit. Could you put in Toughness and Fort saves for when not in suit. Skills are, by my count, 1R over. The combat array needs PP's but in for the Superstrength AP, and the Tentacle AP should be annotated as costing 10 PP (and within the tentacle power, could you add in the PP cost for Superstrength, i.e. 4)

"Oh no..." said Supercape as his super senses pinged in alarm. Radiation leek...and... Liebniz is here.... He could feel the anxiety hitting him. He was confident enough to handle most minor supervillains these days. But Heavy Metal could tear the place...and him...apart and there would be precious little he could do about it. Heavy Metal could soak up...could eat all the energy he could throw at him. His mind focussed like a razor blade. If there was any chance of stopping that happening, he would have to shut down Cherenkov, and shut him down now. Frantically, he reached into the atoms and quantum events of Cherenkov, flipping them to stable states, stabilising their structure, like a virus, spreading the effect in a cascade...

Supercape walked slowly towards the piano, placing his hand on it. His foot started to tap to the beat of the tune, quite unconsciously. "It's been a hell of a day" he agreed, pausing to wipe the sweat from his brow. It had indeed. Long, tiring, and dripping with adrenaline. And a gnawing anxiety that threaded through it all like an unpleasant stomach ulcer. "And I fear it's not over yet. Quite an unusual little club you have here. Enigmatic, to say the least. Normally this would be quite enough to excite my curiosity, but today I am gripped by something quite pressing. A certain lady, one of significant power and authority, whom I believe either resides here or is at least in its embrace, one way or another..." "Nice tune, by the way", he offered by way of platitude.

"So they are mining? Well, at least the rock should slow them down" replied Rene, some spirit restored. "And yes, I would very much like to know what they are seeking. Although I doubt it will bring much consolation to my heart. If something is buried, it is generally buried for a very good reason. The bones of the dead, for instance" he said, as an example. He had experience enough with necromancy to appreciate the rites of death, and the earth was a good shield against prying dabblers of the black arts. "But if you would reveal thought and truth and the matter, it would help, no doubt. And I would suggest you guide us to the base of this house. I would have words with the Priory of Sion. And perhaps more than words..."

Ignoring the police officers and onlookers, Pitch coasted up to Maddicks and Cannonade and comrades. She clicked off the engine and sing herself off. A belch of smoke coming from the exhaust and her mouth as she did. She gripped the head of the Cantos Stick firmly as she walked, with her characteristic limp, to them. "I may have some inside information on this..." she explained, her lip curling into an irrepressible smile. Ha Ha, very funny sneered an unamused Tazel, as he rumbled in her belly. "Something is growing in the building" she said, gesturing with her stick. "I don't know exactly what, but it's not of this world. And if its growing, that means that the clock is ticking..." she explained, giving her stick back to the floor and drumming her fingers on the head. "Has anyone been inside yet? Anything living, that is?"

Well Axel I would just say was a pretty regular guy. I may make him a sidekick in the future. He is a biker so he knows how to handle himself I guess. Off the top of my head I would say pertinent stats would be As for Ironside, well she is your baby so I guess up to you. I'd suggest something around PL4, as these guys would know how to handle themselves but aren't SWAT level fighters?

Tazel, you little toad. You kept that one silent. No wonder I can't force your tongue loose. Pitch was almost laughing, now that Tazel for once had the tortures of human emotions ripped open for viewing. "He has been kicking around for years, Nikki. My father bound him good and tight to my bloodline, although over twenty years he was locked up in a dusty chest near the border, courtesy of Axel here" "And he isn't best pleased with me. It just the rat has to obey me, and he comes in handy..." Pitch put her hand to her eyes, to keep out the sun rather than the smoke. "Hellfire....possibly the real stuff" she groaned, spying the flames from afar. "Buckle up kids, this is going to get hot..." she said, gripping the Cantos stick and revving her engine.

Spending an HP (down to 2 now I think) to reroll that: 1D20+13 => 22 with +10, makes 32, which I hope is enough!
-
Ok SC will use extra effort (and burn an HP to counter that) to gain: Nullify 13 (Radiation effects, Extras: Ranged, Duration (Sustained) ) 1D20+13 => 18 for opposed roll...not so good.

Crimson Tiger is up! She can see the Freebooter, who is not in melee range, although she can move there in a move action.

-
True! thats one way to deal with them!
-
A bit low for a sense with accurate, although vision is possible in the low light. She also has Micky and Mouse to deal with.

GM Meanwhile... The rats indeed had been decimated, and slowed. Tazels scorching fury had done the work. There were enough to carry Carmen away, as Tazel could not enter whatever holy ground was there. But no rats remained to injure or impede Kit. Where are they, where are they? screamed a livid Tazel, before the red eyes burning flame-wthin-flame turned to Kit. What are you doing little girl? Stay out of this! You don't want the eyes of our kind on you, do you? he purred. Don't interfere with us, and we won't interfere with you...and we have every reason to cast our eyes and hearts to you, don't we little girly? Tazel's liquid voice purred as she was just by the manhole. She could see down - filth, refuse, shadows, and a most unpleasant smell. It must have disused for decades. And, to cap it all, two of Filth's gang, Micky and Mouse, the scrawny dark-skinned brothers, jumped out of the Carriage nearby, holding home made clubs with rusty nails in them. "Hey, Filthy did it!" yelled Micky. "Yeah, hand's off our prize!" yelled Mouse to Kit. "She and dat' stick, dey gonna give us real power!" hollered Mouse. Micky pointed his weapon at Tazel, a little afraid but bold still - "And you can't do nuthin'! we learnt all 'bout you...yeah...you cant come round 'ere, we laid holy water and cross and everythink!"

Carmen was deeply dazed by the Crash. Her leg hurt like head. Damn, would have to be my good one...she sighed as she felt it. Nothing broken, as far as she could tell. At least, no bones poking out. Still hurt like hell. Must have twisted something.... Her head felt dizzy, soft. And then the rats came. Perhaps her blurred vision and dulled sensibility were a blessing, as the swarm of rats over her could have driven many a man - or woman - to hysteria. The way they gnawed under her and then lifted, like a magic carpet, to pull her down...down... That would have given panic to nearly anyone. She felt the Cantos stick torn from her grasp, and Tazel gone. She was not yet powerless. Drawing on anger, she started to pour forth the power of the infernal forge, all metal, smoke and fire in her mind. And then, it was gone. "I got her! I got her!" yelled Filth, as he pulled away his face, rat-slaves crawling over him. He had planted a horrible kiss on her lips whilst she was recovering. His face loomed out of the semi-darkness to deliver the blow. And the power of the infernal forge was gone. "I got her!" he yelled excitedly.

For reference, the whole in the ground is full of shadows (good for teleporting) and is low level light at best. Its further reaches are complete dark. I am not entirely sure how Kit's Soul Awareness works (and incidentally I think it may be borked? - if its a Mental Sense it is not ranged, so radius is a bit screwy...) If I guess right Kit can be aware that there are Soul's down there!

Yeah, sorry for balls up! Yeah lets say heard only if thats ok. She knows something - two things actually, landed on the fore of the ship, but not who, or what (and of course it could plausibly be just a cointainer falling in the growing wind and rain...yeah...right... )

Oh dear, Heavy Metal Unleashed... Supercape up?

The Giant snake, now sixty feet long, paid no attention to El Heraldo's words and premature reassurances - if it could hear them at all. Instead, the ton of snake flesh launched itself at the young man, its flesh coiling and squeezing after it had slammed into the man. The Eyes, now garguatuan, remained brown and human, at this size, El Heraldo could pick out every fleck in the iris, every red line of artery in the corner. It almost seemed to gloat. And...remember...eyes widening as it saw El Heraldo. This did not stop the coils crushing and skin tightening. It did not stop the little girl, in El Heraldo's arms, screaming in abject terror. A piercing wail that hit all ears for hundreds of yards. "Mummmmmmmmmy!"
-
And Giant Snake finishes this round with a Gaping maw at El Heraldo. For reference, the Snake is Gargantuan in size, now sixty feet long and as wide as a man. Attack +2, Defence +2, Toughness +12, With a STR of 40 (+15 Damage DC) and Grapple of +33 He lunges at El Heraldo -2 DC, +2 ATtack...1D20+4 => 21 Which hits! a DC 28 Toughness Roll, and with improved grab feat, an opposed Grapple roll please: Snakes is 1D20+33 => 44 Another HP to El Heraldo for getting crushed saving a little girl. Giving him 6 HP!

They are out of direct line if sight, but leaping is wide and loud. Also it is dark and raining. Can we say Dc 10 to see,5 to hear. And 5 range increments, marking a -10 penalty for 50' . Suoersensrs may help

Interesting character! Fluff looks good. Mechanics: Could you notate knockback with and without his arrmor (and also bonus from immovable if he loses it) Defence: 1/3 of the total defence (as per house rules) must come from base defence, which is not the case here. You will, I guess, need to bump up base defence to +4 (and lower 1 rank of shield) Attack: Same. 1/3 of total attack bonus must be from base. Need to bump up base attack to +4. Device needs formatting. Supersenses, I think, cost only 3 PP. You are going for Accurate hearing (2PP) and Acute Olfactory (1PP) ? Suggestions only: Maybe spread out the exotic saves slightly - this may make him more interesting, giving him a weak spot and strength? Bluff and Diplomacy are extremely good - is there a reason for this in his background? I grant you that most doctors would probably havd a few ranks in diplomacy given their job, but 5-8 ranks is enough to make a career out of those skills, and 9-12 is an expert that professionals consult (according to source book). I cant see anything in his background to indicate such extreme levels of skills, although of course natural talent is possible. To be honest, the high skill in bluff, and challenge fast feint feat look like combat optimisation with little backstory justification. As far as medical training goes, he certainly is very good! Being pedantic, most doctors would have a few ranks in behavioural sciences (1 or 2 from general training, more if specialising in that field), which you may wish to consider and might help explain bluff and diplomacy. You could, I think justify Enhanced Constitution in his device to replace his protection - which would be more efficient as it boosts fort save, toughness, and recovery bonus. Query: Normal Identity seems ok to me, but it might not be considered so, as less than half of his PP are spent on his device (a guideline in M&M). I think its allowable given he is in no shape to fight without it, but I draw attention to this for others to check! Nice character!

"Well its quite simple...ah that is...it is quite complicated..." replied Rene, twiddling his thumbs. He stewed over in his mind exactly what to say. It was barely plausible even to him. "The fact is, madam, I come here on intuition. I realise this is a poor explanation, but it is ze truth nonetheless. My friend and I are her trying to track down an enigmatic spirit, one quite malign in intent, and ancient in nature. We come to stop it. It has already posessed a poor innocent, and has the power to spread its control much further..." "I fear for ze future madam, if you do not trust us, and even help us!"

Thats a fair point actually, as last round you were distracting the captain from said deed and moving. Could you post IC your gunking? Then Tsunami is up.

"I consider the terms Art Deco and style mutually exclusive" said Steam, sneering and putting his thumbs in his lapels to hang his elbows off. "But again, Madam, I fear you twist words. Steal, for instance, is such an ugly word. Borrow of course requires permission. And then there is the matter of that room, indicating you do not limit yourself to anything that is outside of it..." "For instance, you could arrange for an item to accidentally fall out of that room, and then steal it...." he said, wondering if he had just given her an idea. He still wiggled his eyebrows at the demonstration of his cunning. It is a good thing I am not a thief!
