NPC The Hound took Ricky by the lapels. Normally he left the 'bad cop' routine to his partner, but Ricky was slimy enough to inspire the street cop in him. "Look here Ricky...I just waltzed out of a bar room brawl to hear you talk. I had a pool cue this close to my face, and my partner got thrown across the room. And from the sounds of it, the party hasn't wrapped yet. And you know what, I don't like staring at a pair of knuckled fists. No sir, I don't. So, if you would be so kind as to oblige me with a goddamn name then both of us can depart this here high class establishment with all our teeth and no black eyes...." He spat to the side in disgust and adrenaline. "Because if you don't feel like talking, I don't feel like being nice. And I'll throw you into the lap of the meanest looking biker in there with a kiss me quick sign stapled to your rear end...."

"Not so clever now are ya, chum?" said the Mess through gritted teeth at the supercharged mobster he held in his massive arms. Truth was, this guy was a lot stronger than he cared to admit. Even pumped up as he was, he had to exert his full strength on the man. "You ain't got what it takes, my friend...not by a long shot. You don't have it...." he said as he strained every muscle in his arms, his neck widening and his teeth jarring from the pressure he was exerting. His mighty limbs began crushing the wind out of his adversary. "And I do!!!!" he said with iron confidence.

Ok Move Action: Intimidate at -5: 1d20+4=20 (to hopefully shake the mobster he is holding) Standard Action: Squeeze! for a DC 25 Toughness save on the mobster he has bound. Ill throw in a grapple roll proactively in case Mobster tries to break out of his grapple! 1d20+24=37

GM The smile of El Sierpe was indeed smug, and did not waver. "I think you may well be able to thrash me and beat me. And do not think I am scared of such brutality. I grew up in the worst streets in Mexico, clawed my way to my throne through iron will, and cold cunning. Do not think I fear the your colourful fist" he explained, smirking as he eyed El Heraldo's costume. "I have faced much worse and come through. But, the question is - are you the hero you claim to be? are you justice? are you the law? or a lawbreaker? this is Mexico, amigo. You cannot arrest me here. And if you brutalise me - as you suggest, you are the criminal, not I...." He smirked again, before adding for good measure a hissing... "Muahahahaha!"

NPC "Attaboy!" said Harry at the Mess' apparently imminent victory over the mobster in his arms. "I knew I hired you for something! bustin' heads and looking after my back for one!" he chortled, sparing the time to do up his tie in the middle of the melee - even if it looked as dishevelled as ever. "Now, where was I?" he asked himself, putting his finger to his mouth for one moment, before bringing it into a snap. "Ricky!" he shouted, casting his eyes around for the scrabbling, scuttling grass. Spying his target, he turned heel and ran at him. "Take care of the Mess, Mess!" he yelled at his partner. "I'm going after our loose-tounged freind!"
-
Hound is going to run after Ricky!
-
No, I suppose you cant! THats what direction sense or a Gps equipmennt is for! :D

Supercape risked a quick glance back at Trigger. Of course, he was more than able to keep track of the flaming figure behind him, his acute supersenses picking up every fluctuation in electromagnetic energy around him. "Come on...we need to stop this! we can stop him!" he yelled. "Before all hell breaks lose!" he added, pointing to the dimensional tear. He closed his hand into a fist. "And as for you, my friend. I am delighted you are impressed. You wont be disappointed! there is plenty more of that from whence it came!" he said, his fist exploding with the same blue green light and snapping into the figures face...
-
Well, lets try a punch inna face! 1d20+12=24 Looks pretty good, so its another DC 27 Toughness.
-
You can intimidate him, but not stop him! (feel free to IC the words of course!) The slippery devil is now, with you, in Mexico. Cue moral dilema! (By the way, there is no-one watching, and no camera's....)

GM In such confined quarters, Glow and Heraldo could only scrabble as fast as they could after the elusive crime lord. But he was in his element here, slithering like a snake - for all his bulk and height he contorted and moved at a speed they could not match. ...a few moments later... The two hero's burst out into sunlight. Waiting for them was El Sierpe, with five of his goons, all holding machine guns. The tall man himself was holding a rather potent looking shotgun, all brass and wooden ornaments and..yes...carved like a snake. "Stop!" he called at them. "You have lead a merry chase, my friends. But now, it is over. We are in Mexico..." He laughed. "Perhaps, even now, you could overcome me. I know that your strength and power is impressive. A mistake I shall not repeat. But...you cannot. We are in Mexico. Over the border. You are no deputies of the law here, and I have committed no crime here!" His laughter was mocking and hearty. "So, my friends. I will not fire, no, I will merely depart and wish you farewell! and you will slink back to your United States of America, like good law abiding citizens! muahahaha!"

Intimidate? Shaken status for this round? Grapple: I'd like to inflict the Bound Status on him (as per house rules). Admittedly this means Mess is flat footed, but hopefully he can shrug off any blow. Ill probably go for damaging him in future rounds as a standard action. Squeeze!
-
"Will power and magic I have plenty of!" replied Rene, his resolve returning and hardening. "You don't belong here, madam! Not in this time, not in this country! Freedom is stronger here than it ever was! I defy you!" "We defy you!" As he spoke, his eyes shone with a light. He could paint in any direction, forming a tangible reality like a brush stroke. But now, he drew a line straight from him to his adversary, golden beams of light, like lasers, lancing forward at Gallia, strobing and pulsing. "And I can show you beams of light too!" he added, keen to beat the spirit at her own game.
-
Well I'll say he cant use his paintbrush as that does take some fine moving around. Meanwhile, his regular magic powers... Blast Time, unshifted. 1d20+10=20 I don't know if that hits, buts its DC 27 Toughness if it does.

"I hate pool..." said the Hound as the cue missed his head narrowly. "Lets see how strong you are..." muttered the Mess to his adversary. I can't let him get away with this.... "You gave it your best, didn't ya? Is that all you got? Because if that's all you got, you got nothing. I ain't even started with you yet, and you can't put me down with your best shot..." He laughed heartily, and then dove into his adversary, taking him into his mighty arms with a bear hug. "I got ya know, you slippery sonofabitch" he grunted, as he hefted his shoulders and chest into a better position on the mobster...
-
Ok ill try for an intimidate as a move action: 1d20+4=24 Good good. And then lets go for a grapple to change things around! 1d20+10=20 I think that hits, so grapple roll, fully boosted 1d20+24=40 ok, now the good rolls start!
-
NPC Well they seem to be doing a good job knocking each other out! I must make a habit of being on the good side of the local biker gang... Time to give my partner a hand... With a dainty shuffle of his feet, scuttling round to the side of the mobster who was giving the Mess a battering, Harry gave a little dance and then with an alarming turn of speed, a shove. If he could trip this guy up, surely the Mess could give him that knockout blow... Oh dear...he is bigger than I thought... he wailed to himself as his hands battered ineffectively against the man.
-
the Hound will go for a shifted trip attack, -2 attack, +2 DC 1d20+8=12 miss!

GM Wessex gulped deeply. "Al...alright...I don't feel so good anyway...heart bounding...sweaty...anxious...say, are more pupils dilated?" he asked Revenant, staring at her eyes with his own wide black pupils. "Adrenaline...or something like it, I should think...must make my blood more potent, in some way. Blah, I never thought I would be dealing with vampires in my line of work..." he gabbled on, still flush from whatever the vampires had spiked him with. "If you can get me out of here alive...err...no offence taken...I'd be might appreciative..." he continued, already making a prompt walk for the lift in the High Steaks.
-
"I've done had enough of this!" The Mess was beginning to lose his temper - the little of it he had. He loved a good fight but getting pounded into the dirt by some common mobster was not what he had in mind. This guy was souped up somehow, he knew that, but even still. For a moment he thought about using his blood powers to wreak havoc on the man... Damn, no he swore to himself. He would take this guy out with his bare hands, fair and square.... And with that, he threw a few wild punches, trying to clear his head.
-
Not at this juncture! Mess: More of the same against the big guy Move Action: Feint 1d20+5=8 Standard Action: Standard Attack 1d20+5=8 not good.
-
NPC "Damn and blast, curses, curses, curses!" swore the Hound as the frenzy became more frenzied. "I hired you to take these goons down!" he yelled at his partner as he once again gripped the shaft of his cue and took a swing at the nearest mook. This time, the blow connected roundly on the side of his head, snapping the cue with its force, and sending the mobster to the floor, soundly knocked out. "That's how you do it!" he explained, proud but still deeply scared. "Right, who's next! come get some! or, alternatively, let me run away!"
-
If the mobster is a minion, hound will take 10 on an attack roll and shift +2 dc -2 attack for an attack roll of 18 and dc 20 tough save, if you include the improvised weapon!
-
1d20+9=18 Another bruise!
-
Move Action: Fly to figure (I guess its in range?) Free Action: Shift Atomic Force Array into "Supercape", the Damage 12 Aura. Standard Action: Supercape attack! 1d20+12=32 Well hows about that. His first ever critical! Thats a DC 32 Toughness save (or 27 if immune to crits).
