1d20+15=16 pffft.

Ill wait for Scuffs roll then onto round 2!
-
Lord Steam nodded, as the jigsaw started to slot into place. The obvious question was the device - what was it? why was it. There were weapons in this dimension, and, he supposed many others, that could rip a planet asunder. And "devices" could, to. But another thought struck him. Why the enticement? Clearly Madam Vapeur - whoever she was - had thought to bring him here, and quite possibly his two aeronautical companions too. Why? "So tell me, Madam" he started "much as I appreciate the fine calibre of work you have done, why invite us to be your witness?"

GM The mighty fists of El Heraldo did their work, knocking El Sierpe right across the mansion floor in all its marble glory, to leave him cracking against the masonry at the other end of the hall. "Gruuuumpph..." he muttered, shaking his head as he sat slumped against a marble pillar. "You have the power of ten men! I have never felt such strength...." he said, more to himself that anyone else. His pet snakes, slithering as a mass, held El Heraldo in no such high regard, as yet. En masse they crawled and squirmed to the heroic duo, biting and constricting with a single minded purpose. Human meat was not unknown to the vile servants of the drug lord.
-
And the snakes slither into action! The small ones first - 5 on each of you! 1d20+7=14, 1d20+7=24, 1d20+7=9, 1d20+7=9, 1d20+7=15, 1d20+7=26, 1d20+7=11, 1d20+7=26, 1d20+7=22, 1d20+7=14 1 hits Glow, 3 hit Heraldo. A Drain Constitution 4 poison! Thats DC 14 Fort Saves. Fortunately, however, the mighty El Heraldo is immune to poison, and can interpose the one that hit Glow. The 5 big Snakes, 2 for Glow, 3 for El Heraldo 1d20+5=22, 1d20+5=11, 1d20+5=6, 1d20+5=23, 1d20+5=21 One on Glow, 2 on El Heraldo. El Heraldo has impervious toughness, so ignores the damage, so a DC 18 Toughness Save.for Glow please! And, as they have Improved Grab feat, they can try for a grapple at the same time! The Snake on Glow rolls 1d20+8=10, roll to oppose that please! The two Snakes on El Heraldo roll 1d20+8=17, 1d20+8=28 which is a bit nastier! oppose that please!
-
That does indeed hit! 1d20+10=13 and a terrible toughness roll makes him bruised, dazed, staggered. I always forget Knockback, but not today! (i prefer 3E where they do away with it!) Anyway, Sierpe has -5 KB resistance, and you have a +14 Damage attack, so thats 500 Metres Knockback. Ill say thats flying into a wall, but if you want to knock him out of the mansion, please say so. Its a KB 9 Result, which means DC 24 Toughness save for the wall which I will say is pretty sturdy, toughness +10. 1d20+10=23 means a cracked wall. It alsom means another toughness save for ES, this time 1d20+10=17 meaning another bruise (dazed technically, but allready dazed, so no effect).

Gallia Falling, part 1 - The Death of Kings (IC)
Supercape replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Europe
Rene coughed slightly, somewhat lost for words. "Countess, I do not wish to pry. A woman's business is her own, to share with as he feels fit. But, I confess I would like to know more of you. Where to start..." He drummed his fingers. "...perhaps you could tell me why you take up such a dangerous goal. You are filled with patriotism, I am sure. The times of France change, perhaps too quickly, and certainly with too much blood. Maybe that is the nature of France, a land steeped in passion, not blind passion, but passion nonetheless" "Would you mind if I paint you whilst we wait? Just some sketches, it will not take long? I am a student of art and I profess you would make a fine subject..." he asked politely. "And perhaps then you can share your vision of France..." -
And Glow changes via telekinetic hand-wavium! Glow - 3 HP
-
Post away. No diplomacy roll needed at this juncture.
-
Lord Steam gave a sideways glance at El Heraldo and Blod. The signs were not looking good. "And, pray tell for what purpose is this marvellous device? other than the noble cause of advancement of the sciences, and the glory of such a feat of engineering?" Building things in secret is not a good sign at all...But who could guess at what had happened? The Science Police...The Science Council... He found himself drumming his fingers on the table, full of eagerness to know more, although he strongly suspected he would not particularly like what he was to see...
-
Which is still not enough flat on your behind you go! Then, Glow is up!
-
GM "You are fast, but I have faced faster!" smiled El Sierpe, as he dropped to the floor. Then, with arms and legs propelling his body, he slithered towards Glow. His unusually long abdomen twisted and turned on the floor with inhuman flexibility, moving just like a snake would. In a flash he was at Glows feet. Bending up in another impossible arc, using his cane to propel him upwards, he snatched the Remote Control that she held, trying to pull it out of her grasp. He was strong, but not strong enough this time. "Curse you! Give me that!" he shouted in utter frustration.
-
Meaning El Heraldo is up!
-
"These two look like ideal candidates..." chuckled Rene softly to Marceau as the two of them crept forward. Rene reached up to grab the floating bottle of wine, and gave it a sniff. "As fragrant as I remember!" he said wistfully. "Although last time I was in this realm was...under different circumstances" he said, enigmatically as ever. "A gift for those that work hard and talk merry!" he declared, within earshot of the two elfin guards, and with that, he lobbed the floating wine into their paws. "A gift from a spirit Dionysian!" he sang, and waited to see if the two guards would fall for it...
-
El Sierpe is up. He will indeed be distracted by Glow, and slither towards her on the ground, to reach up and try and wrest the remote from her! I'm going to say this is a disarm attack. 1d20+10=26 and that's a hit! So its opposed roll time. 1d20+6=12 not so good, can you give me a Strength roll to oppose that?
-
GM "Whoooooaaaaa!" shrieked Phil, as he was yanked into the air, still clutching the camera, which somehow felt more ominous in appearance and mood then ever before. "Put me down! Put me down! Let me go!" he yelled, yabbering in fear. Meanwhile, in the projector room... "Hwwaaaumph" whistled the man in the Smoking Jacket as he visibly deflated into a shell of himself. Smoke and Brimstone gently wafted from his ears and mouth. "What did you do....my plans...." he said, in garbled speech, as his features changed and morphed. In the man's place stood a tall elegant woman, shrouded in smoke and fire, with a horned face and demonic features. "Your fey magic is strong, my dear, but the Hellqueen has no plans to fall tonight! The show will go on!" she yelled, and with that, in a puff of smoke and brimstone, she disappeared.
-
And Smoking Jacket Man is up! MOrph dropping for the grand reveal! GM Fiat to shake of daze, and the extra effort to surge and teleport away. Etain 3 HP - Unharmed
-
He's only a PL1 Geek! Yes, that grabs him.
-
It does indeed, at full whack. That means a DC 32 Toughness save! 1d20+15=17 and he does not fare well at all! Fail by 15. Bruised, Dazed, Staggered! Meaning Fleur is up again!
-
It sure does...he is bound and helpless! Do you want to shift that? Also: He is snared. That means you could do a coup de Grace. Alternatively as your action he does get the bonus of cover. But even so, its pretty easy to hit...
-
He is indeed holding the camera. He is a bit battered from the jostling, but otherwise ok (bar being scared witless).
-
Round 3 24 - Gabriel - 2 HP - Bruised x2, Nauseated 23 - Fleur - 3 HP - Nauseated, Bruised 19 - Andriod Captain - Reactivated! 14 - Giain Knight - 2 HP - Unharmed 5 - Grue Captain - Unharmed, Bound (Helpless) 5 - Grue Mutant 1 - Bruised x2, Shaken 5 - Grue Mutant 2 - Bruised 5 - Grue Mutant 4 - Bruised 5 - Grue Mutant 5 - Shaken 5 - Grue Mutant 6 - unharmed 5 - Grue Mutant 7 - unharmed 5 - Grue Mutant 8 - unharmed And Gabriel is up again!
-
Ouchies...all present and correct! You get fort save to shake of sickened status at point 5 in next round. To make it easier book-keeping, you may wish to roll that in advance or delegate it.
-
Good question! It was last in the hands of Phil, although the crowd is now all over the place - some have been injured in the stampede. Normally this would take a full round to scan the crowd to find him, but hey ho! look who has Quickness x100 power. Notice roll! DC 15 to spot him as a free action, DC 10 to spot him in a move action, DC 5 to spot him in a standard action. Add 5 to that if you want to see if he is carrying the camera too.
-
GM The power of Giain Knight was not to be underestimated. Like rag dolls, three of the Grue Mutants spun and broke under the fists of stone, but their alien, mutated flesh seemed inhumanly strong. They howled like frenzied dogs, gibbering and screaming, and once again leapt at Gabriel with talons raking. "Defiler!" "Unclean!" "Impure!" The Captain of the Grue strained ineffectually against the vines of Fleur. He was clearly strong, but not strong enough to gain more than a little wiggle room. "You think the Grue are strong in body only?" he asked Fleur, fixing her with a steely alien gaze. "I was one of the premier minds in the unity! my power is not merely sinew and bone! my strength is my mind!" he explained, as a blinding burst of pain hit Fleur square between the eyes. "And now, as you have kindly brought my simulacrum to me....ACTIVATE EXTERMINATION PROTOCOL!" he yelled at the android captain. A light flickered behind the perfect android copry's eyes. Without moving his lip, a steely prerecorded message played from his mouth. "Voice recognition positive. Activating Extermination Protocol. Eliminate and decontaminate all non-Grue...." It was followed by the 'Captain's' real voice. "Help! Stop me! I can't control myself!" he implored.
