Yes cool, although you would probably have to bluff the guy as his eye is on it - could you do a DC 10 bluff check?

On reflection, Diamondlights minions dont work - too much concept, too complex for minions in my opinion. I think I got carried away with the "Shark" theme. But as I already have a shark PC, this was just a silly pun and obviously I need psychoanalysis to understand the symbolism of sharks. Anyway. Could you possibly replace Diamondlights sheet with this much cleaner (in concept and maths) sheeet which strips the Card Sharks back to bare bones (which is still - clones with regenerative powers who act as business and security personel for Zoss).

The Card Sharks Power Level: 5 (150/150) Unspent Power Points: 0 Trade-Offs: None In Brief: Shark-Human Clones Alternate Identity: Marina Heart/Club/Spade Birthplace: French Polynesia (Unknown location) Residence: Freedom City / The High Steaks Occupation: Security / Management of The High Steaks Description: Age: Unknown Apparent Age: Varies Gender: Female Ethnicity: Polynesian – Modified DNA. Height: 5’7” Weight: 55 Kgs Eyes: Brown Hair: Brown / Red-Blonde / Black. The Card Sharks appear to be normal women in their twenties of uncertain ethnic heritage, with brown skin. They usually wear smart clothing, black jacket, white shirt, skirt and heel. The clone-triplets look identical, but they have taken to different hair colour to aid in their distinction (sometimes matched by clothing colour). “Club” has brown hair, “Heart” has strawberry blonde hair, and “Spade” has jet black hair. History: The Card Sharks are the result of a seventy-year project initiated by the Nazi’s and continued by SHADOW/OVERSHADOW. They are genetically altered clones of mutant woman with a debilitating skin condition. Over years, the genome was progressively refined until three identical clone “triplets” were created. And then the Freedom League of the day eliminated the experiment. The Zoss family collaborated with the Nazi’s and, in decades past, held onto some of the research. August Zoss, in his mission to root out the shadow of SHADOW from his companies past, found the files and the three triplets, frozen in ice. August Zoss gave them jobs and training and erased the file data. Personality & Motivation The Card Sharks have a somewhat icy demeanour, professional, crisp. They are not cruel or sadistic, however. Whilst they are grateful to August Zoss and his company for rescue and rehabilitation, they are not fanatically loyal. They are fiercely protective of their sister-clones. They are loyal to their job and role, and their wealth and status. They do engage in “fun” too; gambling, karaoke, and even the odd martini. Powers & Tactics: The Card Sharks are fundamentally human, but with the original skin condition twisted into a regenerative boon. They heal fast, and their senses are exceptional. As a peculiar quirk, their skin can absorb oxygen from water, and thus they are able to survive underwater. The three clones seem to be psychically linked, and thus they can communicate with each other telepathically. The Card Sharks are remarkably strong for their build, and have exceptional reflexes. They have moderate combat training. Whilst their main job is security and running the Zoss business (particularly the High Steaks), they are more than capable of handling a few drunken thugs. Lament That, thought Luther, was satisfactory. Although his fingertips still tingled. Should he have sampled the joy? It was tempting, so tempting. The realisation made his blood turn cold; where did Luther end and the Void begin? Nonetheless, it did no good to ruminate on the bleakness of existence. No! The antidote to paralysis was action. He stuffed his hands in his purple jacket pocket and started walking to the monorail. He could catch a ticket, get off and browse through the Convention centre. At least the monorail ride would have a pleasant, nay, spectacular view of Vegas lights. And would be a serene pause amongst the disconcerting new occurrences. He could take a deep breath, secure in the thought that nothing exciting or action packed could happen during a Monorail trip.

Gamma Buzz Baz smiled back at Lawrence, and then shot from the hip with cockroach hands. Shot an imaginary bullet from an imaginary pistol. "Told ya, partner. I got yer back!" Lawrence was about the only person who knew Baz outside his family. About the only person who knew, or had seen, the radioactive tears of pain behind the joker. Was there anyone Baz trusted more? He gave a merry wave to the universe as he departed. "Tune in next week, same Buzz time, same Buzz channel! Lets go, amigos!"

GM The man glanced at Moyd once again, longer this time, but dragged his eyes back to the dreamer. His face was sweating, his eyes wide. "Him?" He gulped. "You wouldn't believe me if told you. Bad dreams..." he shook his head and stiffened his spine. "Little lady, I'm a crook. A villain. A thief. And if you don't give me back that ball I'm going to shove my fist so far down your mouth I'll be able to pull your wheelchair through your intestines. Don't think being crippled is going to stop me...." "Is there a problem here?" asked Mr Pudgeball, coming up, lacing his thumbs through his suspenders. He still had a vapid wide grin on his mouth, but he was raising a distinctly dissaproving eyebrow at the crook, villain, thief looming over the Dreamer.

Lament Luther cursed under his breath and chewed his teeth. Of course, the middle man didn't know the source. He was just the profiteer. "No wire. No cop," replied Luther, deadpan. He allowed just a little of the Void to sink into his eyes, darkening them. "But someone you don't want to mess with..." he said, voice low, dark. It was said with utter confidence. Luther had years of experience, and plenty of talent, in scaring people. "I need to know where that joy came from. How to get it. A lot of people are going to get hurt if I can't feed. And I feed on joy. A lot of people..." He took a deep breath in, clenched his fists, unclenched them, breathed out. "If I cant find it, then you are going to wish I was a cope, I was wearing a wire. You are going to beg that I was. Because there is something a lot darker in this world, and joy is the only thing that keeps it fed. Want me to show you? Maybe you do. But once I show you, you will go to bed every night wishing you hadn't been shown..." "

Lament Luther initially responded to the answer with scorn. No, this was some story, something to pull in the customers... it was just some new synthetic drug, surely. Something that tickled this neuroreceptor and pummelled another. But then the scorn melted away. The story was a good one, plausible at the very least. Yes, this was Las Vegas, and dreams lived and died here. It had a certain magic, did it not? Maybe it was all just the hypnotic appeal of lights, but it was a magic nonetheless. "So someone's cast a net to catch the lost joy? Now that I gotta see...." he said, stretching himself up straight. "I could do with some joy to feed on." Or rather, the Void did. Was this the answer to all of Luthers problems? It was tantalising, so tantalising. "Where can I meet this mystery man?"

Lament Always putting on a show? The words stung true, and Lament pondered them with a mix of pride and wounded ego. But so what if he did? Luther LeGrasse was how he was made, and no man should offer apology for what he is, only what he does. He sniffed in the cooler air, something of a relief after the heat of the day. "Fountain guy? Well, I guess fountain guy it is." That word could have two meanings. The fountain they stood by, or the fountain that brought forth the elixir of joy. Elixir... that word had potency. Was this some eldritch or mythological font? Like the fountain of youth? Luther was no wizard, despite his appearances, but he knew darn well that Eldritch forces seeped into this world. "I want to know what I'm tasting, first," he said. "Seen too many junkheads dead in a filthy ally with a needle in their arm, if you know what I mean."

Whoops - should have added - HP to clear daze Move action to get up. And I think the Poison breath has the range to get Dr Zero? (and possibly Tom too depending on positioning?) Its a Cone effect.

GM Nobody in the brawling mob was bigger, or stronger than Jack, and even in the midst of furious agitation, most of them had heads sane enough to give Jack wide berth. True, he got an elbow in his ribs, and a boot in his shins, but not enough to make him blink. He hauled the obese shade out of the mob, who parted for him. A few names were called, but in honesty the mob were two busy shoving each other to bother about anything else. They didnt even scatter at the sound of police car sirens... Sunshade flopped around in Jack's iron grip. Bloated on supressed rage, he was now solid, corpreal. His flesh had a curious pudgy quality, like plasticine, and was still as dark as a moonless night. Sunshade was bursting at the seams, so overfed he had gone past the point of pleasure and into sleepiness and indigestion. "What a feast..." he muttered. "What am I going to do with my prize chef, hmmm?"
-
GM The man gasped, took a step back. "Oh sorry I..." He swallowed, not easily. Closed his eyes, a quick breath. Then rallied. His eyes opened again and his faced crunched up. "That's mine. That's mine, please..." He went to take the ball. "I know perfectly well where it came from," The Dreamer was perceptive. His eyes flicked, just an instant, the painting "Moyd", where the handsome red haired man was floating in the clouds, an identical glass ball full of green vapours in his hand. "And.. could you give it back. Please!"
-
Lament "Lets get happy," sighed Luther, who had absolutely no intention of consuming anything that potent. But - but even the strongest wills could crack, Luther knew this. He felt like he was walking into a pit, but the compulsion was there. Luther would not back down from this, and Luther knew it. He got himself, his slightly short, smallish frame made evident. Perhaps his stature had driven Luther to always appear larger than life, and in this regard, it was mission successful. Luther attracted a kind of gravitational force around any social situation. "Performace's can wait," he said, following the man outside. "Unless, of course, you mean the performance of life. We are all actors in the story of our lives..."

Spore Despite the aches and pains, and being smashed about the room, Spore was having fun. This was like the best virtual reality game ever! And it was the right place, right time, to try out some of the spore powers she had been practicing! She took a huge breath in, felt the fungus tickle her lung tissue, and breathe out - - a mist of yellow-grey vapours flew from her tongue, like an ocean spray. This was not an attempt to dampen Doctor Zero's spirits, or dehydrate her body. Each droplet contained a potent neural mycotoxin, that - hopefully, could shut down Doctor Zero's nervous system. "Think you are cool?" she said. "Take a load of this!"
-
Spore is going to try a poison breath! Hopefully he is not immune to poison. So its a Paralyse 8 area effect, with poison extra. DC 18 Reflex then DC 18/14 Fort for Poison.
-
Spore Spore froze, eye wide, warm spiced latte in her hand, a touch of froth remaining on her upper lip. "Witch..." She had wanted to be a witch when she was a kid. When she believed in them. That seemed so distant now, a life written in dusty pages in a grey book. Not her, no sir. And then La Puma was off like a - well, like a cat she supposed. Nobody was that fast, were they? was the thought that rambled around her skull, until slowly her brain reasserted command of the ship. Yes, nobody except a dang superhero. At the call to action, she stood up, feeling sick with excitement and fear, and ran behind Puma. "On my way!" she called. It was like leaping off the diving board in a swimming pool. Terrifying, but you had to do it.
