  2. Multi-Girl, 2 HP, Unharmed Thats just enough to hit (Defence +6) although they have partial visual concealment so 20% miss chance But all hit! Some impressive rolls, but given its DC 24 Toughness, and these are minions, two of them will be struck! Ill respond IC once you post the punchings
  3. Diamondlight August turned down his shining forcefield to a more respectable dim light. He put a hand to his chin and slowly rubbed it. There are more pieces to this puzzle... He turned to Ramsay. "Her?" Ramsay was angry. But about what? the bodies? or something else? "Do you know this woman?" Woman? Creature? Specimin? It was hard to choose the right term. A gamble. But he liked a gamble. Lets see Ramsay sees this woman as a woman... or a beast. "I'm not sure this is as simple as it seems. Monster eats babies. Seems to be a little more nuanced than that headline."
  4. Gamma Buzz "Whoa! That was hair-raising!" yelped Baz, insect eyes wide as spinning plates. And possibly as spinning as spinning plates, too. A quick crouch, and a spring! Up he leapt, like an ascending rocket, flipping in mid-air. The next moment, he was sticking to the ceiling like, well, like a cockroach kid. "Wait, aren't we meant to act like a team and stuff, and learn how to bash the baddies using our tactics together? Or was that a comic-book? Peow! Peow! I can throw Lawrence into Misuki and Lawrence can stop time and Miisuki can, wait, no that's not right. But something like that. With some cool call-sign like Slowball Slam or something. That sounds cool, right?" He peered down. "Wait... that would need planning and brains and tactics and stuff. Shoot, no time for that! Better shoot instead!" Two green laser beams sprang from his eyes, sweeping the floor below, trying to pin down the hair-lady!
  5. Move action: Leap to the ceiling (and stick on it with wall walking) Standard action: Laser Beeeeeems Going to shift this +2 Acc / -2 DC 16 In the unlikely case that it hits, its a DC 21 Tough Save (It is penetrating in case impervious armour)
  6. I meant post the counter attack
  7. GM "But I feel so invogorated!" said the Duke. "You can hardly blame me for wanting to be alive, can you? Its quite splendid! Why, I believe I can feel my liver working again, and my gout is gone! In fact, I could swear that my haemarrhoids have shrunk, too! I shall be producing the most wonderful faeces now, I can tell you!" "I don't want to hear about your bowels!" complained Summer. "You will understand in a hundred or so years, my dear!" retorted the Duke. The musical notes flowed across the lurid grass and singing plants, and circled around Bernadette. She could feel their presence as much as see them. Faint to the eye, but quite noisy to the ear, bleating some melody in a rhythmic 2/2 time. And read to pounce!
  8. Ok! I think that is suitably heroic to warrant an HP By my count thats 3 HP Post your held attack IC and OOC?
  9. The necromantic dust! DC 18 Fort Save for A Nauseate 18 effect. And! Although this wont kick in until the next day, a Drain CON 8 (DC 18) Disease effect. So two saves each please
  10. GM Leaning in closer may not have been wise. The golden dead moved. Slowly, with a grind, just an inch, leaning forward as if about to progress on a march. A wheeze came from the dead throat, like an old cushion beaten - a puff of dead smoke, made of ash and dust. And the smell! Was it merely the smell of death, or something with a more nercomantic twist? Whatever it was, the container was filled with the most awful smell, enough to turn even the hardest stomaches inside out.

  12. Gamma Buzz "I'm as ready as a radioactive cockroach kid can be!" said Baz, puffing his chest. He was not entirely sure he still had lungs; or if he had, they were very stange. They felt more like a hundred sacs of air arranged like a flower in his chest. Sort-of lungs. Thats what you get for being a cockroach kid. "But..." he added. "Ready for what? Danger? But what kind of danger?" He put a stubby finger to a pointed chin. His antannae wobbled. "I hope its the safe kind of danger. I mean, I'm super brave and everything, but I'd rather practice with safe danger before actual danger. I'm too young to die! I got the world to save!"
  13. Gamma Buzz "Ready as a radioactive cockroach kid can be!" said Baz, puffing his chest. He was not entirely sure he still had lungs; or if he had, they were very stange. They felt more like a hundred sacs of air arranged like a flower in his chest. Sort-of lungs. Thats what you get for being a cockroach kid. The training room looked clean and empty, at least to Baz. He had spent half his life scrabbling around garbage pits, scavenging for whatever. As it happened, he had found glowing green cockroaches, and his life had changed rather dramitically since then. A huge, clean room? Quite alien. He shivered, even though the nuclear reactions in his cell kept him very warm. He samasaulted in the air and cracked his knuckles. They cracked very loudly. "Bring it on, danger room!"
  14. Hurrah!
  15. Take it away! 24-Multi Girl, Unharmed 23-Musical Antibodies [4]
  16. Diamondlight August examined the monster. Was it a monster? It looked like one... ...which got him thinking. "I remember you..." he said, slowly, quietly, as he strolled through his memory banks. "Artificial creation. Lost in transport. Something like that. Caused quite the panic, if I remember correctly." The whole incident gave plenty of sleepless nights to kids. And their parents. Who knew what bogeyman could be lurking under the bed, or in the closet? When was it? A year, two years ago? "What are you doing here? Thought you were still on the run?" He doubted parley was going to be accepted, but still - he wasn't a man to judge by appearances, unless it was appearance he was judging.
  17. If DL can take 10 (for a 20 result), he will. Otherwise a 25
  18. GM And so, by one crate... Rusty, old, smelling of cobwebs, and yet robust enough that one couldn't see in (or for that matter, out). That was one crate. It smelled the most strongly of gold, too. Ancient gold, the kind that Aztecs would make idols of, or sorcerers in long lost lands would forge eldritch rings from. Not the modern, dreary gold from which narcisistic businessmen would make towers from, emblazoned with their name in a tawdry attempt to copy the pharoes of old. This was pedigree gold. The crate opened with a fierce groan of grinding metal, and the puff of stale air that might come from opening a coffin. Inside, four golden statues! But where they statues? No! They were corpses! Corpses that had been covered with molten gold that had then set on their burned skin and charred bones!
  19. GM "Here they come!" said Summer, voice shaking. "The little turds!" sighed the Leprachaun, ignoring them as they flowed past him, trying to chase down Bernadette(s), Summer, and the Duke. There were four of them, chasing down the four. Faint, blurred, not easy to see, like a mirage in a desert. But one could hear them, hear them with crystal clarity. Was it a buzzing sound? or a deep bass? or a sound in frequencies beyond human ears, that still rattled inside the skull. It was melodic, yes, and perfectly in time, but each of the four musical antibodies made a vexatious, cacophonic sound, like a church organ being played perfectly badly. "They don't like you!" shouted the Leprachaun at the fleeing foursome. "And I don't like them!" shouted the Duke, his short legs pumping to keep up with Bernadette. "Auditory assassins, I tell you!"
  20. Could we have some initiative rolls? Leppy and Fingers will be sitting this one out (unless something funky happens), just taking total defence actions Initiative 23 The Musical Antibodies have partial concealment to visual and olfactory senses, but Multi-Girl can percieve them DC 10 Notice Whilst faint, you can make out the Antibodies look like musical annotation of notes and beats that flow according to the noise they make.[/spoiler] DC 10 Wisdom You can acertain that the antibodies are not fully corporeal; they have insubstantial 4, with the limitation that it only provides half normal protection from attacks.. or none if you have even 1 rank of insubstantial feat. As one might predict, they are vulnerable to sound.
  21. GM Beyond the Pale [1 Post]
  22. GM "In due time... promises, promises... you may not break the stick, but you will break the promise... I have heard it before. You will have your freedom, you will have your freedom... the same words were said by the sorcerer who bound me to his bloodline. Carlos Santos! Pfah! At least he is as bound as me, as miserable a consolation as it is..." With a puff of smoke, Tazel was gone. "I like you, devil-cat! Call it a fondness, an admiration, perhaps. But I will be free, one way or another!" It was a promise. Would Tazel keep it? The Devil stick thrummed in La Puma's hand. Unknowable, but alive! The Police would catch up with Juan, and the dog children would return to their normal selves. The Church would be exorcised, and the whole infernal mess would be cleaned up. But the Devil Stick was still unbroken, and still alive! ~ Fin ~

  24. Go ahead And yes it would be considerably faster
  25. GM The air smelt of dust and rust. The Lost and Forgotten might well have been literally lost and literally forgotten. It looked like it belonged in the 19th Century, with a bit of bolted on twentieth century to keep it seaworthy. In any case, the cargo hold felt old, the kinfd of old that crept into your bones. And to Luke, it smelled more than that - amidst the dust was a clear smell. Gold! Not just any gold. It had the smell of old gold. African gold. It was perhaps not the finest purest gold one could get, but it was old - ancient. And infused with sorcery! The metal crates beckoned - thirty, maybe fourty of them. They could be ripped apart by the heroes, but that would be noisy. Or Luke could locate the crate by his smell, but that might take time...
