Having washed his face, Supercape's costume gave a quick burst of sparkles and reformed again into his modified Professor Cape costume. With his face washed, he looked pretty much back to normal. He punched a few buttons on the infirmary computer terminal, and examined the readout. "No permanent damage it seems. Only an automated analysis, but good enough for the basics". He stretched his back. "Always a barrel of laugh, this heroic business, eh?" he groaned. "So what got you into the fisticuffs business?"

Nice character, and welcome to FCPBM. I'm not a ref, but for whats it worth, I will echo what has already been said. Putting it all together you may want to "Build" it something like this: Feats: Environmental Adaptation (Low Gravity, High Gravity) Not actually powers, but I am presuming that given all his experience of these effects, he would suffer no penalty in these environments. If you see them as powers, just build them as Enhanced Trait Power with these feats. Powers: Speed 3: 50 mph (Representing his cheetah form running) Powerfeat: Innate (as its part of his natural form, it cant be drained etc) 4 PP Linked Powers: ("Time Control") Speed 2: (Increases Speed to 250mph) 2 PP Quickness x5: 2 PP Enhanced Trait: Improved Initiative -2 (+8) 2 PP Supermovement 1: Slow Fall 2 PP The doppler effect and the like would not really have any regular mechanical effect, I would just leave it as part of the descriptors. You may wish to but some sustained (or even permanent) duration immunities such as: Gravity or Time Powers. The latter could be bought with the power loss drawback: only whilst moving (for instance).

Felix sat upon his elephant, produced a vuvuzela and gave a trumpeting blow as the fireworks display started. The outdoor band struck up a rousing, and loud, medley of Wagner to accompany the show. The crowd, slightly tipsy by this point, roared their approval. Victory had not let them down. The music and the sheer ostentatious of an elephant all added to the spectacle. Bow ties were loosened and glasses raised. Cheers punctuated the "ooooohs" and "aaaahs" as the fireworks exploded. Cindy and Mindy squealed with delight.

"I need a vacation" mumbled Supercape. Ding! Level 11. Primary Infirmary! intoned the pleasant female voice of the lift. "Here we are" The infirmary was white, clean, and highly automated. There were only a half dozen beds, but each where fully equipped with isolation facilities, scanners, and living luxuries. Surgical facilities and laboratories also peppered the level. Supercape pottered into one of the rooms and touched the computer interface screen a couple of times. A beam of green light swished across his body. "GPS. General purpose scan. I'm no physician, but it should do the trick" He went to a basin and started to wash the soot of his face. "There, I feel better already" Examining himself in the mirror, he took careful note of his eyebrows "not too bad. touch of make up, nobody will notice" he commented.

"We have a pretty good hospital here" Supercape replied "and I don't think its serious. He felt his forehead. I'm sure my eyebrows will grow back beofre you know it. Can probably rustle up some stem cells down in the infirmary if they don't. " He went to the elevator shaft and called for the lift. "I admire you skill in the noble art of pugilism, my dear. Even if it wasn't quite Queensbury rules. Flip-flop tumbling all over the place. All very acrobatic" Ding! sang the lift as it arrived and opened. Supercape entered and pressed the touch-sensitive screen for level 11, primary infirmary.

"mmmm. Thankyou my dear" he gave a theatrical cough, not entirely acted. That bolt of fire had gone right up his nose. "Dying for a cup of tea you know. But I should probably go to the Infirmary here. Floors 11 or 12 will do. I don't know how your first aid is, but I could do with a pair of eyes and hands just to patch up the eyebrows if you don't mind?" "Oh, and milk, no sugar" he produced a tea bag from his cape. Won't be caught out short of a teabag again! he thought, triumphantly.

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm on vacation. And vacation is all about being utterly pointless!" Nell laughed. "Lets go get some drinks. I fancy top deck, watching the coast of Florida float into the horizon, some sunshine on my face. Maybe even a swim. " She took Elizabeth's hand and bounded up the stairs two at a time - at least for a bound or two, until she slowed down to a more normal pace for Elizabeth "sorry! too much energy!" she laughed. At the top deck the sun was shining and the weather pleasant. A few clouds drifted overhead, but overall it was hot and bright. Spying the bar, she took a quick look at the available liquid refreshments. It was well stocked - indeed, everything about the ship was indicating that it was living up to its reputation as a top of the line Cruise liner. "Sloe Gin for me I think, thanks. "

"Just a moment, my dear" gasped Supercape, still covered in soot "...in case our gaseous friend awakens..." Gesturing at the gaseous body lying several feet from them, a crystal ball of quantum material formed itself around said figure. The ball was hermetically sealed - quite airtight" "I hope she wont be getting through that, although you never can tell!" "What happened to the liquid fellow?"

Professor Fathom shook off the stars that clouded his eyes and shouted "Curse you, woman!" at Wander. "Time to make a getaway, Slyph!" he added, as his watery body slipped through the elevator door crack and down the shaft. Irritated at her inability to pin down Wander, Slyph started to follow Fathom, but was suddenly bathed in a fierce purple green light. "Not so fast!" declared Supercape, brushing the soot from his brow. It had been a simple matter to excite a few key atoms around her gaseous form, and the effect was spectacular. Slyph sunk to the ground, still glowing with radiation, as her coherence and consciousness slipped away.

Fathom is up now, and at this point, calling it a day. Whoosh, slipping through the elevator shaft in fluid form. Supercape is up: IRRADIATE!! IRRADIATE!!! Autohit on Slyph. DC 25 Toughness check. Except she is half immune to energy attacks boo! so DC 20. Her toughness save is a mighty +0!!! 1d20+0=5 KO!!!

Slick took one of the test tubes, and used it to take a sample of blood from the subject lying at her feet. "Prison?" she asked, looking at Dragonfly and Cannonade, her face scowling. "For how long? will that stop it happening again? what poor innocent is the next in the factory line to get ripped apart by this?" She couldn't resist kicking the figure on the floor "all because of scum like him. They disgust me. " She stood up. "I can get this analysed, see if there is any cure, any antidote. Something to try and mop this up. "
-
"Hi" smiled Slick, with dazzling teeth "the names Nemo. " she paused slightly. "Nell Nemo. " She took Elizabeth's hand. Charming and attractive lady she noted. "Lovely lady?" she laughed "well thank you Elizabeth" she said smiling "or is it Liz? it would be great to have some company for a while. The ship is setting sail soon. Perhaps a visit to the decks to wave the shore goodbye? I could do with a celebratory drink to start the holiday. "
-
"Hold on then" said Supercape, and placed his hand on Etain. With a moments concentration, he opened up a quantum hole to just beyond the manhole, and after a few dizzying moments, they both collapsed into it. ...and unfolded into a dimly lit small room. Four figures, monks, where in the room, with electric lamps on the floor. One had, in his hand, a statuette of some ghastly demonic figure, and was studying a crumbly old book that lay open in the other.

Slick wore the body of a certain Ms. Nell Nemo. And she was on holiday. Of course, her resources were practically unlimited. A luxury cruise was easy enough to afford. But for Slick, she could not only choose exactly what holiday to take, but who to take it as. Nell Nemo was an alias, who ostensibly worked in a minor role for Felix Fassbinder looking after his yachts and marina's. Of course, she did no such work, but it was a reasonable cover. Whilst Slick didn't always choose attractive bodies, this time was not an exception. The body was tanned, tall, with curves and flowing muscles. All woman, no doubt, with a hint of androgynous beauty and an olympian physique. She presented her tickets to the sailor at the dock, and boarded the luxury ship. She had two large suitcases, and her fluid musculature handled them with little difficulty, unlike the porter she handed them too. Her clothing was not skimpy, but neither was it modest. She was already catching the eye of several men, and (for different reasons in most cases) a fair few women. She smiled. Slick was something of a flirt, and had been around for several decades. She was no stranger to romance, and a short romance might be a welcome addition to the break. After all, she was on holiday!

"Why of course my dear" replied Supercape, beaming. He studied the dimensions of the windows. "First, out with the old..." he muttered, and without so much as a whisper, the leaves and tarpaulins that acted as the current windows crumbled away into dust and blew away in the wind. "...might need a dustpan and brush, sorry about that..." he said, apologetically. "and now.. in with the new..." he continued. And with a slight hazy preamble, the window frames gave birth to the crystalline quantum matter, sparkling, shiny, transparent, and glistening with a slight blue tinge. "HOWZAT?" he smiled.
-
"Hold on" whispered Supercape and concentrated, extending his superhuman senses past manhole. "Four men, moving a little... can't tell much else. Not a big room" He turned to Etain "Does your glamour effect sound? can we still talk without anybody hearing?" He glanced at the light bathing the sewers "and what bout the manhole? the light? will they notice that?"

Supercape looked up at Wander "oooh, well done madam!" he moaned, dazed and ever so slightly confused. "Jolly good show heh? give them what for! bish bash bosh!" He swayed slightly from side to side, then looked around. "I say, these chap's are complete rotters! that fellow wasn't playing fair!"

GM The gaseous form of Slyph flew over to Wander and giggled "oh my dear... for all your strength, you can't hurt me you know!" she floated around Wanders head, cutting off the oxygen supply. However, Wander remained to evasive for her. "Curse you, stay still!" she cried, more vexed every moment. Her initial jocularity had turned to irritation. "You can't keep this up forever!" Meanwhile, the two Professors, Fathom and Cape, groaned almost in unison.

Earth Victoriana: The Brit Machine (IC) (GM)
Supercape replied to Supercape's topic in The Realms Beyond
GM Kew Gardens Edge, Ms. Wells, Cannonade, Silhoutte, and Grim were suddenly in a massive greenhouse. It was cold, very cold, much colder than a greenhouse should be. Guests were milling around, all dressed in high class clothes, and unfortunately all dressed up very warmly. This was clearly a very high class reception, and it was not going well. The temperature was horrible, and several guests were openly muttering about leaving. Some had taken to inebriation to "keep out the chill". A five-piece band was playing on, providing a quaint little ditty about an infernal man, to which they implored the crowd should have some sympathy, and prayed let him introduce himself (as he was pleased to meet them). Paul and the fabulous four had landed right beside them, and the inevitable musical collision occurred. The two bands eyed each other suspiciously. -
"Different sizes eh?" Supercape scratched his head. "Good idea, should have thought of that. " Half consciously he formed a sphere, a cube, and a pyramid of quantum matter, all no more than palm sized, in front of him. They all bobbed in mid-air. "Yes, good exercise. Although... your mastery of earphones during my riveting lecture on the rules of cricket seemed quite competent, if you ask me..."

GM In response to the obnoxious and frankly pointless monologue by Supercape, Pyre became distracted from the flurry of fists next to him and flicked of a bolt of fire towards the offending article. "Oh dear" whispered Supercape, as the blast hit him square on. The heat ablated a little on the force field he had erected, and then broke through, hot air searing through his costume and singing his hair a little. He coughed, spluttered, and fell to his knees.
