Right then. Free Action: Switch Arsenal to PPCs/Blast. Free Action: All-Out Attack for 2. Defense +5, Attack+12. Free Action: Power Attack for 2. Attack+10, DC 27. Standard Action: Ranged attack vs the "hotel manager": 14. That probably misses. I'll eat that. Move Action: Teleport over to stand next to Robert, so I can pick him up next turn.

Fenris had taken a few moments to rest, let his breakers reset, and let the rest of his systems cool off. But finally, he stood and walked to the edge of the top of the craft, before blinking down to stand with the others. "If we get inside, maybe we can get some traces of whatever they used to teleport away, and track it. I think between all of us we can cook up something like that..." He shrugged and crossed his arms. "Either way, it sounds like you weren't trying to make a mess. And you helped out moving this little prize, so I figure that means you're fine. Now we just need to track down Star Knight. Speaking of which, do you prefer Kyle, or some other code name?"

Gabriel's fierce expression didn't fade as the Coachman was thoroughly punished for his transgressions. If anything, he became angrier as the Fae insisted they "couldn't" detain him. He contemptuously raised his left hand and pointed it at the otherworldly coach. "You intrude on this realm and then dare tell us we cannot detain you? And have the audacity to pass off whatever twisted scheme you run as "employment"? I say thee NAY!" A trio of sound bolts slammed into the carriage-thing, one of them striking one of the "horses" in the head, while the other two struck the main body of the beast-vehicle-whatever. "You shall direct us to where your prisoners are. And then we shall have words with thine lords and ladies."
-
Gabriel would like to give that Coachman what for, but Cannonade and Wail seem to have a handle on it. So time to cut off his escape route! Standard Action: Sonic Blast the Coach itself. 30. Coach has Defense 18. I exceeded by 12. So that gives the maximum Autofire bonus of 5. DC 32 Toughness Save.

Additional limbs is a power for limbs that have at least some level of fine manipulation; arms, legs, prehensile tail, tentacles are the examples in UP. UP even says "wings are better modeled as flight". If you wanted them as an attack option (the picture makes them look like stained glass, and glass can be sharp!), I'd say put Flight in an Array with Strike. Bam, done. And then, like SC suggested, slap on a 1pp drawback of "not if wings bound" or whatnot. Or make it a complication!

DC 16 Stun Save: 23. Fenris is unimpressed. Initiative: 7. He's so unimpressed he's going last in initiative.
-
I don't think I really need to change anything. Sorry for delay in response; it was gaming day.
-
Sense Motive: 19 You know what? Hero Point Reroll: 11, but since that was a 3, that's a 21 due to HP reroll. Just enough!

"This is us taking care of a sadly misguided individual. The artifact is dangerous, and should likely be handled as little as possible. But you have no jurisdiction over this artifact, Herr Apfelbaum. Call the police if you wish, we will leave a number they can contact the Freedom League at." Fenris gingerly stepped inside and considered the watch for a moment, before glancing at the bag. He dug around a bit before pulling out a sample bag large enough for the artifact. He walked over and gingerly placed the watch in the sample bag, which was quickly sealed. "Velocity, we should probably have the League come bring him in, as discretely as is possible at this point. They can check him over for lingering effects from the watch. As for the item itself...it might be best if we do some final scans with the League, before destroying it. If you'd prefer, I can hold on to the bag until the others arrive. If I have it and the rest of his...supplies, you should be better off handling him. For what it's worth, I'm sorry it all came to a head like this; if the Baron and I had known the artifact was this dangerous we'd have sealed it in Bakelite and shipped it to the League ASAP." It was clear Fenris wasn't in a mood to deal with the hotel manager, and considered other matters more important than the rotund man's feelings.
-
Fenris nodded as Velocity spoke. "Understood. I am inbound, give me a couple of minutes." He started to walk further into the hotel when the manager came up demanding answers. "Herr Apfelbaum, my name is Fenris. I am a superhero. I am on-site assisting Freedom League member Velocity. She is in Room 17, and has subdued an individual who had hostile intent toward us both. Our goal is to remove him and his affects, and leave your hotel as swiftly as possible. I apologize for the disruption, but I must move to assist my comrade." With that, he did not wait for any protests before flashing away with short bursts of his teleportation system, moving rapidly down the hall until he arrived at Room 17. He tried the door, but it was locked. Hoping to avoid more trouble from the hotel than they'd already received, he opted to rap sharply on the door. "Velocity, it's Fenris. Door's locked and I'd rather not break it. Mind letting me in?"
-
Fenris sighed at the panic, his armored hand meeting his forehead with a *clank*. "Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed...Pardon me, coming through. Yes, pardon, pardon, my fault, no please move along, you're fine, pardon me, pardon, excuse me, pardon me..." After a few moments of fighting the crowds (he feared engaging his teleportation in such crowded space), he was out of the worst of the panic. He activated the comlink. "Velocity, can you hear me? Are you still here in the hotel? I'm on the ground level and I'm here to help. What's your location?"
-
Gabriel gives some polite laughter, despite not really grasping the punchline of the joke. Protonik seemed like a solid sort of fellow, all told. "I'm afraid I'm not quite as good at stand-up as some people that I know, and even then, most of my jokes are about the English, or occasionally the Scottish or Americans. Any Russian jokes I know are second-hand at best, really." He gave a winning smile to the Russian hero to accompany his "helpless" shrug.

Fenris couldn't help but grin as their speed drastically slowed. "Excellent! Thank you for the assist, Miss Americana. Those of you helping hold up this thing, please begin moving us forward when you see the hole in space-time; I'll take care of the rest. Everyone, hold on tight, we're about to shove this ship through a tunnel made of science!" With a strange almost barking laugh, Fenris's entire suit lit up with a bright blue glow. Tiny sparks began lifting off the hull as the air in front of the ship wavered...before cracking. In moments, there was a glowing tunnel floating in front of them, large enough to take the ship and all those clinging to it, so long as they didn't let go, at least. Those keeping the ship aloft got it through the crack, but it was clear once they were in the tunnel that velocity did not work like it should. There was a great rushing sound, and suddenly they were in the air just a few dozen feet above the ground... Somewhere a few miles outside of the city. It looked like an old but well-kept airport, though several smaller, newer-looking buildings were well off to one side. There was more than enough space next to the over-sized hangar to let them set the ship down now. Fenris himself sagged in place, his suit's lights growing much dimmer. "Let's not try that one again for a while."

There was a sudden *crack* sound, and Gabriel was hovering a couple dozen feet away from the Coachman, seemingly standing on thin air as his entire form wavered from the sound roiling about his person. His coat was flapping madly in the not-breeze, and his eyes all but glowed with rage as he spoke, his voice booming out. "You speak of duty? Of goodness? Of fares? You are a cur! I name you an honor-less dog! You and your masters are not welcome here! You trade in lies and pain!" He flung his left hand forward, and a barrage of "balls" of sound flung forth, reducing the shimmering around him somewhat as they slammed into the Fae man before them. Gabriel's tirade continued. "Must I bring your whole wretched kingdom crashing down around your ears? Must I crumble every brick and mortar to teach the lesson? Must I bring the highest of Albion low to the ground?" The spear jutted forward, and even more sound roared forth, slamming once more into the person Gabriel suspected was a dressed-up slave-taker. "The Fae are not welcome here! Takers of lives! Breakers of families! Speakers of falsehoods! Surrender, take us to your master, and be spared further battle!"

Move Action: Get to about 20 feet away from the Coachman, and about 10 feet in the air. Free Action: Switch Sonic Control from Flight to Blast (with Autofire). Free Action: All-Out Attack for 2 (Defense now 10, Attack with SC now 14. Free Action: Power Attack for 2 (Attack with SC now 12, Damage pre-Autofire now 29). Standard Action: Ranged Attack vs Coachman. 28. That exceeds his Defense of 26 by 2, so that's a DC 30 Toughness Save to him. And because Gabriel is....unhappy....with the Coachman. Free Action: Surge for another Standard Action! Standard Action: Another Ranged Attack vs Coachman! 26 on the dot, so another Toughness Save, DC 29. Go ahead and knock off an HP so he can avoid Fatigue. IC post with much RIGHTEOUS ANGER forthcoming.

I think Electra suggested Caduceus. That or Proteus sounds really solid for the character's setup.
-
Gabriel: 14
-
That sounds like an excellent complimentary set of immunities. EDIT: As a reminder, Fenris's base Teleport: Teleport 6 (600ft per Move Action, 20 miles per Full Action, Feats: Change Direction, Change Velocity, Easy, Turnabout)
-
To keep this moving: I intend to have Fenris stunt off of his Weapons Array to add Affects Others to his Teleport. That many ranks, along with several ranks of Progression (we could calculate out the exacts if desired), should help us move this beastie. TT, assume an HP is spent. Everyone else can stunt stuff in too, and we can end up wherever you like; I can describe it as a "bumpy ride" that forces a landing in a non-ideal spot.

Even as the stone began to rise around them, Gabriel crouched down, bizzarely with a grin on his face. Almost like he was looking forward to what was about to happen. And then he was good distance into the air, though probably about halfway between the main group and Tiamat's altitude. There he floated, his eyes glittering with defiance as his voice rang out, heard by all of his fellow heroes. "Brothers and sisters! We face here a mighty creature indeed! But fear not! We shall be victorious! We control sound, and speed, and rock, and plant, and cold! We have with us one who is a match for any of the beasts of this island, a mighty lady whose warrior heart beats true! Strike fast and true!" Coming from most anyone else, that level of...melodrama...would probably just induce laughs. But from Gabriel? The sheer belief and sincerity echoed in the bones. Everyone there could feel how sure he was of their victory, and it stirred a certainty in their own hearts!

Time to pull an Edge and spend HP like candy! First, I am operating with the idea that Gabe's array was pre-set to Flight, as he was basically waiting for the need to peel off from the platform (in a situation like this!). Move Action: Fly up away from the platform and barrier, though not quite as high as the Simurgh. Call it...oh, about 150 feet or so up. Free Action: Extra Effort, Surge. Full Round Action: Inspire! All the good guys get +5 to Attack Rolls, Saving Throws, and Checks for 1 round. You're welcome! Go Team Awesome!

Meanwhile, just as a guest opened one of the large, opulent doors to the high-class hotel, a flash of light and rush of sound appeared a few feet in front of them, before resolving into a large figure that was kneeling down and...steaming? Indeed, the metal body of whoever, or whatever, it was gave off a couple of small "pings" of rapidly-cooling metal. The figure slowly stood, revealing itself to be well over 6 feet tall, and a good couple of feet across. Covered in metal and glowing blue lines, that would have been enough to cut a fearsome presence...but as it turned its head, it was no human face or generic mask or helmet, but the head of a wolf that greeted the man still holding the door open. The mouth, full of sharp teeth, pulled upwards in a (probably accidentally terrifying) smile. "Thanks for catching the door for me, gave me a bit more room to stop. I think I need to get this thing tuned up; got a bit rough when I was running the Alps." He turned and took a few steps toward the reception desk. "Pardon me, but is there a Lord Robert Harrow checked into this hotel? It's very important if he is, that you tell me which room."
-
Per conversation in Chat: -This turn, arriving in the lobby of the hotel. -Listen (aka Notice) Check: 24, and just in case, I would note he has Ultra-Hearing. -Invoking the AHHH! Robot Wolf! complication. Because why not! GM can have NPCs respond as desired.

Gabriel was just about to suggest that he and Wail walk and talk to compare notes while keeping an eye open...but then Caradoc landed. So instead he just greeted both of them and listened to the shining knight's tale. He knew who was under the glittering exterior, but Wail did not, and so he made sure that "Caradoc" was the name he addressed his fellow hero by. "First, this just confirms everything. Including my fear it's even bigger than I thought. I've gotten a half-dozen stories that are similar. No ivory statues, but plenty of precious metals or stones or whatnot. I looked at one of the coins." His mouth gave an expression somewhere between "I just ate something that tasted terrible" and "I want to belt some jerk from school across his fool mouth so very badly" as he spoke. "I think it's the Fae Folk. The coins and jewels and statues are all their way of "paying off" the families. I don't know if it's straight-up kidnapping, mind control, or a web of lies. Doesn't really matter. As soon as I-we-find out where they're hiding and how they're moving back and forth, we're going to bust in their, knock them on their play-loving behinds, cuff them in their pointy ears, and get our people back. Problem is, I don't have a trail to follow. Just a lot of people saying they heard and sometimes saw a carriage that didn't belong. Sadly I'm not as good as some of the other heroes out there on out-and-out tracking..."

"My suit makes spacetime angry all the time! But I see where you're going with this. And I know a thing or two about science and physics." Suddenly a text message popped up on Dragonfly's HUD. <<I did build a device that rips a hole between spacetime, after all. But thanks for covering for me.>> Dragonfly was one of very very very few who knew who was behind the mask of the wolf, after all. "I think between the three people helping keep this thing aloft and us, we can get the ship to smack down somewhere outside of the city. Probably going to wreck some trees, unfortunately. I'm thinking that I can rip open a tunnel big enough for this bad boy, but I'm going to need your help keeping the tunnel stable, and everyone's help bleeding off speed. That bot that Americana sent might be able to help coordinate everything and monitor our suit gear, too. I'll probably trip a break or five, but that's what makes it all so EXCITING."
