Seeing as it's a Snare, feel free to make another Reflex save.

Giving their informant a warning nudge in the ribs, Wave-Eye nodded "We can both go down there without danger. It is not pleasant, however." "The Atlanteans guard their city fiercely, they will be suspicious of any entry" he grated, one eye turning to survey the horizon just visible through the tangle of the docks, beginning to tap his clawed hands together "We could tell them about this, but that would alert our enemies too. And we cannot know how deep this runs. If the watersingers did that..." he shook his monstrous head, having slowly twisted it around his powerful neck to stare at the tank again. Whipping it back around quickly enough to send his heavy, fan-like hair swinging, the triton shrugged massively. "I will do what I can. They might know me. But that may hinder more than it helps. I can show you the way. Spider," Wave-Eye bowed to the silver and blue-clad scientist "if you wish, I will try and help make our vessel. I have no experience as a shipwright, but I am strong enough and can help ensure it will keep out the sea." The issue of time was something he had no idea about. Whether or not Silver Spider could get her hands on one of those deep-sea capsules, or something even more amazing, was more than a little beyond him. "It might take more than a day. I am prepared to wait. Here is as good a meeting place as any, I will prepare a meal when the time comes" he offered with a smile that looked downright ugly.

GM "Good aim Warp!" the blue Lor boy called over the blaster fire, dashing into action. Racing towards the door, he swept the bulky cannon around to aim it at one of the robots, bringing the wires together with a grunt of effort and being nearly flung backwards as the bulky weapon discharged, hurling a bolt of roaring energy straight into the body of one of the Professor's Artifizoids! With a dull thud, the shot bounced off the gleaming chestpiece, the artifizoid watching it plummet into the tank below with a sad hiss. Raising its gun, it called down "Hahahaha" before the barrel glowed and it fired a rapid stream of energy at the trio! The strange robots had by now managed to get close enough that they could aim more or less accurately, and with a rumble they let loose a hail of red and yellow energy, the shots flying thick and fast about them, melting holes in the walkways and searing into the walls!. Things changed quickly at Claremont.

DC23 TOU save: 10. He's down! The eight others take aim(#6-7 at Warp, 8-10 at Morsa, 11-12 at Net Fly) and fire: One hits Warp, two hit Morsa, two hit Net Fly. Okay then, two DC23 TOU saves for Morsa, one for Warp, two for Net Fly. Morsa: 20. and 21. He gets two Bruises.

Dixon Movie Theater, Theatre District, Freedom City, Earth 1.30 PM, April 11th Thursday, 2013 The two lean men, one in baggy clothes and wearing odd-looking headphones and sunglasses, the other in a scuffed but impeccable set of coveralls and bristling beard, cut an odd sight as they walked casually into the foyer. They especially clashed with the jostling crowd of chatting, laughing twenty-somethings, teenagers and sparse collection of older people sedately moving up the lines. In recent years the Dixon Theater had figured out that showings of various foreign, animated and family-friendly films led to sharp increases in their audiences, and after a while its Spring of Anime had become a local favorite, evidenced by the posters throughout the foyer on either side of the red carpet, advertising everything from Studio Ghibli productions to old-school french animation alongside early 20th century Disney. Getting in line after beckoning for Philos to go first, the young Frenchman said brightly "Philos, my friend, you are in for a treat! I grew up with movies like these, they are both delightful and instructive." glancing at the bylines for one poster showing a gargantuan ramshackle metal house on spindly legs, he raised an eyebrow "Hm, it was based on a book. I did not know that. Looks like an English name" he added casually, turning back to his friend with a smile "Do you have any questions before we go on, mon ami? Just do not ask me to tell you the plot!" He was in high spirits that day. He didn't often get to go out socially, and most of the time it was with René, whom he adored but still wished to meet others. That and it had been years since he had last seen a movie, and he could already feel the aura of popcorn oil and sugary drinks wafting just beyond. That and he could actually afford it, which was nothing short of a miracle.

GM It didn't take long to convince the legionaries that the teens should be allowed to see the reptile, and after a quick meeting with the city's extremely shady Frumentarii captain Giang, John and Cerys were escorted to the dank city prisons where the Serpent Man had been thrown just a short time ago. Passing by the dark, echoing passageways lined with grated prisons was hardly a pleasant experience. The golden-scaled lizard was in a particularly deep cell, still very woozy, slumped against a slimy wall and groaning. But from the dull light of defiance in its yellow eyes it was obvious that it was at least a little back to its senses. Snapping his jaws with a sharp click, Goldenhead muttered "I will tell nothing...the Army of Yig will gather no matter what you do now" it almost smiled, teeth catching the dull light from some far-off grate "Do whatever you wisssh." "He is at your disposal, Commilitones." Domitius, the captain of the secret police declared, tossing them the keys and calmly setting off for the iron doors to the guard hall "Call for me, like clamps or a rack." the Serpent Man glowered, curling up into himself and watching the Claremont students very much like a snake.

"I personally think 'abstractly' fits better'n 'logically'" commented his schoolmate, who trudged along quietly "But yeah, I get what you mean. Don't worry, I won't try to pry into your past or whatever. Wouldn't do any good to either of us I bet. Thanks for tellin' me though about you, El" he added with a quick, almost apologetic look "means a lot t'me. I can't really help but feel bad when I hear stuff like that happens to people, but I'll try! Can't promise anything though." the bulky Hispanic boy grinned. Turning his attention back to the sidewalk in front of him, he hummed a snatch of ancient song to himself as he watched the sun dip lower and lower in the sky. "On other issues, how d'you feel about stopping for a bite somewhere? I'm feeling kinda hungry after fighting that nanomachines guy, and I know a few of the guys 'round here! Like Gene's on the next corner, great sandwiches!" he declared, with a fond look at the memory of meals gone by.

That hits(DC was 20), DC17 save to resist TOU drain: 13. -4 to TOU. DC22 TOU save: 2. It gets a very precise hole blown in it, and out the other side. EDIT: Oh yeah, and the robots need to make DC18 Reflex saves to dodge the downpour or suffer damage: All but one fail. For them, DC20 TOU saves: One-lose Minions, so they are destroyed by corrosive toxic sludge going through their electronic innards.

GM Taking the cannon Warp handed him, and checking it over with practiced speed, Morsa nodded as he took up position "Seems reasonable. Perhaps we can search the walls for that PA system." He fell silent as the door was opened with an ominous, grinding creak. It took a moment for the students to force it all the way, but with a sudden jerk its hinges practically collapsed and the whole metal slab swung back into the far room! The three burst onto a grated walkway high above a series of small vats bubbling with greenish liquid, the acrid fumes nearly overpowering, and the air ringing with the metal clack of robotic feet all around them. It took only a minute to realize what the room's purpose was, on account of the steady stream of multicolored gunk flowing from tubes set in the walls into the tanks. A series of walkways and stairs seemed to mark this as a hub of some kind, artifizoids marching in squads up and down the evil-smelling tank. At the other end of their walkway was a door marked "DELICATE MACHINERY, AUTHORIZED ARTIFIZOIDS ONLY" "That seems a good place to start breaking things" Morsa declared with a gleam in his eye, working the action of his cannon. "Intruders spotted!" thundered a voice from above, followed by a blaster bolt slamming clean through the floor in front of them. It was followed by a chorus of other voices as the lumbering things began charging towards them from above and below. There was no time to waste!

"Hello there!" the King of Suits waved over to the policemen and extended his warm smile their way. He was momentarily taken aback at meeting someone from the MoP, whose members were admired throughout Europe! Shaking the Ministry detective's hand he said "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Detective Kapoor of that esteemed Ministry. I..hope we have not done anything wrong by our choice of transport." for a moment he looked grave, stepping back as the artist made his case. "It is as monsieur de Saens tells it" he added when René had made his appeal, walking through the wet grass over to his eerily floating grav-bike, his cape gathering the dew behind him. Leading it back to the woman like a man guiding a horse, he tapped a button and let the alien machine float gently to the ground. Sitting with a dull fwump on the ground, he began at once in his deep, quiet voice "The one responsible for the attack on the portrait unveiling in Freedom, the Puissant who calls herself 'Gallia', is who we are after. I have heard from my agents in the House of Cards that she was recently seen in Calais, and boarded the Channel train last night. De Saens' 'intuition'" he smiled despite himself "sent us to this hill." Watching an ant crawl over his gloved hand he concluded "As René said, she has enslaved an innocent's body to her mind. She must not escape us."

"Can't speak for Mr. Lockwood, but I'm not staring at her chest." Subito snapped with a glance at his schoolmate, her remark cutting a lot deeper than it might have from somebody else. Inspecting the other articles in the room he went on quietly and intensely "And no, I haven't forgotten about how she tried to kill us, but the more attention we pay to her the less we've got for whatever her plan is, right? I mean," the muscular Puerto Rican schoolboy jerked a thumb over at the pair engrossed in their verbal duel "She's after him, right? She wants t'be girl-Moriarty to Steam's Holmes? S'what I got from her big crazy speech before she blew everythin' up. So what are we supposed to do 'sides keep watch?" He wandered over to the Aether Gun, thinking carefully as he hearing swept the museum around them "She's an awful, cruel, selfish person, and I'll make sure you punch her in the face first" he grinned over his shoulder before quickly looking serious again "but making faces won't do much good. Neither will looking, either, obviously" he rubbed his forehead a little "So...how 'bout we play it cool? Watch out for stuff besides her." He looked at her fully "What else would she wanna take? The gun? She's after tech, right?"

Confound her insights!

GM The unknown man hurried away, herding the other sailors before him and past the bridge as quickly as possible. His urgent words and hurried gestures made sure that the two heroes made quick time deeper into the sub's dim passageways, soon reaching the cramped and extremely tense bridge that hadn't seen better days since Khrushchev left office. The place was ill-lit by the blazing blue screens detailing the submarine's surrounding for the crouched, sitting or leaning crew watching them like hawks. There were twelve of them, every man-jack of them looking extremely grim, seaworthy and armed with various harpoon-like weapons fitted with strange reddish vials on the missiles. Prowling around the slightly raised rectangle in the center was a viciously lean man naked to the waist, black eyes roaming the bridge as he carried on a terse conversation under his breath with the crew as his pale shadow flitted over them. His body wavered every now and then, like it wasn't quite all real. At any rate the crew and their strange captain were extremely busy making sure the sub reached the surface unhindered, with one of the older men grumbling <"Foolish, rising this close to the ship, we could play right into the enemy's hands..."> but he hastily got back to work when the creature's glance turned his way, and his terminal wavered too.

Sorry to both of you for the wasted time. Editing Nephilim's Mental Blast to a Fiated Area Snare(with Selective! ). :

GM Marduk cried out in pain, arching his back and gritting his teeth at the entropy that lanced through him. The shield rippled and collapsed into golden shards, the rumble of it crashing to the Plaza followed by a furious "Hey! You leave him alone!" as the aquatic speedster raced down the wall, eyes narrowed and face set grimly as she dashed by, a cannon-blast of water cascading several feet past the young mutant. "Dammit, gotta make sure to aim at her head next time" she muttered savagely, glancing back as she raced up the side of the Branson Building and then came running back down for another try. Inside the throbbing haze of red-tinged darkness, Glow heard Nephilim hiss sharply in frustration, felt the air rush past her as the towering man swung around and shouted "Cease your struggling! You're beaten Warp, admit it and run!" As he spoke the tentacles on his right arm suddenly lashed out of the darkness, and the entropic mutant felt the same sensation of bloat, of gluttony and vastness that she had felt when the man had weathered her strongest attack. They flailed just past her, only to swing back around and crash into her like swung whips thick as her legs! The distant shouts of the incoming Freedom League International were now very audible, and for an instant Warp saw Marduk glance over at the rapidly-approaching heroes with real terror... Taking advantage of the mutant's disarray, Rapidsfire raced past her again to fire a cannon-blast of water into the girl's stomach. The attack was like a handful of needles hitting her at once, leaving a deep and painful bruise. "Alright, this should be enough" Nephilim said crisply, and with a roar slammed his foot into the ground, causing powerful limbs to suddenly rip free of the pavement and thrash about at the two heroines, one catching Glow around the legs, but even in her dizzied state Warp managed to jump, flip and swing around the arms trying to catch her.

Subito wasn't normally the best judge of character, and a lot of things could go right over his head, but Madame Vapeur's performance had a critical hole in it. Looking over sharply at her words, he realized it. The way she spoke, putting subtle emphasis on 'promise' and 'diamond' the grand way she moved as she put her hand to her heart...she was trying to deceive them! Getting them to focus on the Lockwood Diamond so she could get her hands on what she really wanted! 'Also, wow, how does that thing even stay on her? Shouldn't it like fall off? Why not ask? I am sure she will enjoy answering- Okay okay! I get the picture. Let's see what Blodeu thinks about this' Turning to Cerys, the crimson-clad boy murmured "It's not the Diamond she wants. I can't prove it but I'm sure she's after somethin' else here! What could she want..." he suddenly realized how the Welsh agent was looking at Madame Vapeur, and glanced for a second at their enigmatic opponent before coming back to Cerys. "Um...you okay Blodeu? Don't start beating her up without me, we owe her after she tried to blow us up."

EL Heraldo had sat as still as he could, but the incredibly boring war of words between the lawyers, the witnesses, the stream of vague and arcane explanations for why this or that law didn't apply to El Sierpe's case, it was almost more than the energetic young paragon could bear. That and he had to simultaneously pay attention to it as well as all the other conversations buzzing around the courtroom, which added one more layer of frustration. The warm Standing at ease in the witness box, he grappled with the urge to argue every one of Mr. Cane's points, instead crisply replying in his slightly accented voice "I didn't arrest him, and neither did my comrade. El Sierpe had slid through a tunnel under the border, where he had some thugs waiting. We sent him back to Captain Meddows, Sierpe's guys got picked up by the Mexican border patrol after we defeated them. We only fought them after" his eyes narrowed "he fired a shotgun at Glow!"

"Watch out for skinny guys with glasses! And leave some of that thing for me!" the powerfully-built teen called after the singer, grinning despite the dangers. Doing hero stuff with Agnus was never boring. Hurriedly shaking that from his mind and focusing on getting to cover, Subito dashed over to a small alcove in the hardened plastic wall, putting a hand over his heart and breathing "O Dama Azul, I need your strength..." 'You shall have it. Go forth and bring Victory!' a faint glow sparked to life in Subito's grip, suddenly unleashing a blazing flash of golden light that covered his body and then was gone, leaving in its wake El Heraldo! Launching out of his hiding place, the patriotic paragon zoomed through the air, quickly taking in the sight just below him: Miss Stone helping keep people going away from the loose snake, the gigantic lizard itself unfolding from the reptile room with a strangely malicious air, the little girl right in its path and- 'Oh crap! Gotta get her out of there before I do anything else!' quickly changing course, Heraldo dove out of the sky, landing next to the girl and quickly hoisting her up into his arms. Smiling encouragingly at her, he said "Do not worry, brave senórita! I'll get you to your parents quick as a flash." The young man glanced over at the oncoming lizard, tensing himself to shield his cargo in case the monster tried to attack.
