Asked TheAbsurdist, and apparently that is his power Blue Rose! The thread will happen, but will take a little time to get started.

They both find the right containers among Hunter's freezer stockpile, and the hidden doors where the small cloning and kidnapping operation is being conducted. The other two reveal to Catalyst that the substance is a mix of all the stuff stolen from Suzerain, plus some extra, unidentifiable chemicals that don't match anything she's ever seen. All together they make a lethally toxic liquid compound that is currently solid, but would turn to gas very quickly at room temperature.

Sorry Jackgar! I'll ask TheAbsurdist, he might be wrangling through canonicity issues or else just super-busy.

Well that's easy: they're on a different continent than the other three nations, and thus have had no contact or trade with them! A fairly insular society would also explain their high tech level, at least a little. Glad to hear that was on your mind too! So it will be a cultural/societal friction point? Alrighty then. And her stance on leadership will certainly lead to interesting things. Ahem.

Alright then. DC30 TOU save: 20. Fiating(+1HP to Glow) he is Bruised instead of Staggered and Dazed. Switching to the Corrosion DC23 roll to not lose TOU: 20. Failed, -3 TOU bonus DC28 TOU save: 17. Another Injury, and so broken. Deactivating Flight as a Free action and dropping to the ground. SURGE(and Fatigued) for a Standard Action to use his Area Will Damage on the two heroines. So DC23 Reflex save, DC28 Will save if failed, DC22 Will save if Succeeded. Warp is up after this, of course.

Feel free to make any rolls you like, using Knowledge(Arcane/Theology) would also help speed up the exorcism and banishing.

GM With a dull rasp and fading wail the door exploded inwards, the green ward bursting apart into shreds that mirrored the electric strike and vaporizing. In the dusty gloom that the burst of violence revealed was an empty ground floor, filled with decay and mold, a broken staircase upstairs and a room at the far end with several chains across the door. To Changeling's eyes, a pair of long hands gripped each side of the frame, tugging viciously though without effect. Stepping inside Arnold nodded at that door, and with a neat wave of his hand sent the chains crashing to the floor, causing the door to swing open with sudden violence and reveal the face of Dis. It was very large. Looking at it had the same effect as looking at a vast mural from two feet away, its enormous hood-like head of chtin stretching off into the distance, red smoke curling from out of its body. A body that was an entire city thrumming with evil and rising like stalagmites to a yawning roof of fire. Four sets of spindly arms crooked on its belly. "So. You are here. And now you will send me back whence I came, and order will be restored? Those weaklings have served their turn." The voice was as ponderous as could be imagined, slow and quiet and soft. Two eyes on the sides of its head looked down at the trio as Arnold began walking forward and beginning an incantation "Don't listen to it" the wizard added warningly to the two young magic heroes "Dis is as much a liar as any other demon." Turning back to their enemy he continued the slow exorcism. "I have not lied. I told my summoners I would take over their minds and destroy them if they did not meet my requirements, and I did. That they did not understand my requests is their own fault. Though what can you expect from humans? They have no...conception of the outer worlds..." it looked at Crow and Changeling "What do you know of us?"

No door in that state could survive an electropunch. It explodes inwards and the spell is broken.

'That was easier than I expected! Though I'll probably regret it' Roi pressed a hand to his chest and said earnestly "Thank you, sir. I will not forget this small kindness." At the mention of his homeland he brightened "Yes, all that is true. I am sure you have some inkling what that is like. I will not forget the favor either." Bowing his head a little he repeated "Thank you, Handsome Jack." With Molly at his side he returned to the floor level of the Wild Joker's wreathed in smiles. Pausing before they reached the floor he murmured "I'll see you soon" in her ear, and gently kissing her hand took his leave. Arriving after a short search at the singer's dressing room he darted inside, shut the door firmly behind him, listened for a moment then quickly approached the Angel. Tossing his hat and coat onto a rack. Leaning on the wall behind her he said quietly "I...met Handsome Jack, and a lady named Molly. I am sorry I took so long." he winced.

"Thanks Kat.I know I wouldn't be as cool if we switched places." Her schoolmate said quietly. As they breasted the hill and reached their stop Subito idly leaned her against him to share his warmth, confessing "And no, didn't have any idea you felt like that 'bout me. Usually when folks wanna spend time with me or talk to me about stuff they aren't..you know, 'interested'. Mostly they do it 'cause I'm such an awesome guy!" Squinting at the bus stop's schedule placard, the powerfully-built teen studied it for a second and then grinned. Stepping back he nodded to Kat "About three minutes. Anyway, Cerys didn't mention anything 'cause..." he shrugged expressively, leaning his shoulder against the gold-colored pole "I guess crushes girls have on me isn't something she wants to talk about? Blodeu gets pretty grumpy about that kinda stuff." sighing quietly he scanned the city below for any sign of their ride, suddenly turning back to Kat with an excited look "I know! We could go on one of those sneak-off thingys to the Midnight Hour! Whaddaya think? Dancing, great drinks, it could be a fun little reward for studying good!" he said with a gleeful smile. The distant silver-blue glint of a bus swung into view below, cruising up towards the stop, halting in a rush of snow and steam from the deflating tires. As it leaned down the door slid open invitingly, letting out some of the warm air from inside.

<"What is this crap?!"> demanded the King of Suits furiously as he swung round to face the departing, taunting form of Gallia <"You attack to no profit and now leave with no gain?"> Snarling with anger he whipped out a razor card and flung it savagely at Beatrice...sending it just past her shoulder. As it whistled past her however it grazed the bound spirit, leaving something behind: a small tracer. 'Who knows what good that will do...' As the woman faded from sight the lean man stepped forward and shouted, blue eyes blazing <"You have tipped your hand too swiftly, Jeanne! Your hatred has betrayed you, and René de Saens will be ready next time you show your stolen face! I'll see to it the next prison you get keeps you for an eon!"> he stood rigidly and glared at the spot where she vanished, until nothing more could be seen. Only then did he relax. Turning to the old painter Marceau bowed quietly, looking up with a much humbler expression "I am sorry. I should not have acted so rashly or been so easily taken in. I beg your pardon." He gestured around "What shall we do now?"

GM Hours later, off the coast of Russia The sleek aircraft appointed to the heroes wasn't as quick as teleporting would have been, but it allowed plenty of time to plan. That it was perfectly silent as it streaked through the skies helped. It had a roughly arrow-head shape that bore a slight resemblance to certain famous stealth bombers, albeit with a much less subtle blue-red color scheme and less angular style. The massive freighter ahead rocked as stormy seas rumbled and crashed about it. The full complement of equipment each of the six had requested had been supplied, and the craft's jamming gear was busy silencing their target's radio and satellite connections. "Alright, pulling down" the pilot called over the intercom, her voice quite calm as the craft dove out of the sky and hit the water at an oblique angle, a faint jolt the only sign anything had happened for those inside. Surfacing after a few minutes of quiet in the roaring ocean, the AEGIS plane came to a halt. James Riter, captain of the first squad ducked into the passenger area for a second, saying "Alright, Omen, Silver Spider, there's a small hoverboat we'll release from the cargo bay, that's your ride to the good ship East. Best of luck to you there, and feel free to call for help if you need it." The team of heroes had already been given small capsule-like communicators, which the squad captain had assured them would only send messages they wanted to. Sitting down as he checked through his small arsenal of non-lethal weaponry, the captain went on "Rest of you folks, set out as you please, that splashdown should get the sub's attention even with most of its sensors blinded, and they won't be expecting an assault like you people. Don't worry, we'll be moving enough to keep them drawing a bead on old Thunderhead" he looked up and smiled "Glad to have you with us, by the way." "We are glad to be here, captain! Best of luck to you in curing those Malory has twisted with his Proteus, keep a lookout for their unconscious bodies!." Aleksander Solokov replied briskly with a smile, the unassuming and subdued physicist already changed into the relaxed and confident nuclear hero Protonik! Getting up lightly on booted feet, the atomic paragon swung his arms to get his blood flowing "I'll follow your lead, comrades. I have relatively little experience with seizing submarines" he grinned almost impishly "But I think letting Britannia and Starlight take the CIC first might be a good plan. Don't worry about Russia's feelings, I think they despise these men as much as you do."

Same. Going to throw a tracker onto Gallia though, for all the good that will do.

Glad you approve Avenger! Going by Dok's Vampire Psion build(as mentioned in Chat) for inspiration there. Increasing the rank and adding to his Magic Array with some kind of Enhanced Egyptian God Boost seems most reasonable, but I slightly prefer having the dual Arrays going as I feel they better represent his character(and as you wrote he's an NPC, slightly more leeway there!). Of course if it would be better to do it the other way, I'll gladly do so. It would definitely save on the points. Fixed the DC Block. I am very sorry that went uncaught. Abilities count and Totals adjusted. Comprehend lowered to rank 2, dropping Spirits application. Skill Mastery Moved to Sense Motive. As for how he feels about Freedom City magic and magicians: Hetep feels Eldrich isn't taking the active part in the world he assumes the Master Mage should(ignoring that Adrian has huge responsibilities already), and that the rest of Earth-Prime's magical world is downright anemic. He thinks its heroes are obsessed with trivialities and personal empowerment, hooked by the allure of magic as an exclusive secret, though he has considerable respect for divine champions like Siren or spirit embodiments like Britannia. Malador he fears and hates as a would-be Dark Lord and usurper, but mystic villains in general get mostly contempt. The wizard sees people like Medea, the Hellqueen or Maitre Carrefour as disgraces to the public view of magic and vile criminals who need to be punished as far as the law stretches. I should probably put that in the Motivations section.

Happy Birthday JackgarPrime! Rocket on!

The whole thing was a lot to take in, especially the fact that a massive army of ferocious dinosaurs was just miles off. As he removed the mantle of El Heraldo with a wave of his hand, Subito fell in step about the team, listening to the far-off thunder of massive steps, quietly holding Blodeuwedd by her free hand and reminding himself with a bright smile 'At least we're not alone, and we're not helpless. We can beat 'em.' as he glanced over the party. He took a long breath "Hope those Romans are friendly." As they walked, the muscular young Puerto Rican was silent for a long while, his super-human hearing trained on the tangled jungle about them. After a while of slogging along the rutted path however he abruptly spoke "Hey Giang, since we're gonna be a while, how 'bout we talk about ourselves? I'll start" he added blithely and began at once, swinging his arms up behind his head and looking up at the sky "I'm from Puerto Rico. I like going camping, reading classic literature like The Atoms on Paradise World, romantic visits to misty lakes and fighting evil!" the handsome boy laughed cheerily "I've been at Claremont since the summer in 2011, pretty eventful times so far! Ooh, and finding ways to get stronger is always fun too." he looked over at the reserved Asian teen "What about you Giang? What's your favorite book and or favorite person from history?" By the time they had reached the walls of Nova Celio the Puerto Rican teen was footsore, even dirtier than before, and grumpy. Glaring up at the man on the wall he sighed at Kazra's halting explanation, stepped forward and yelled up in the same language <"We are folks sent by Jungle Lord Zandar! We have come to warn you of a grave danger, and we want lodgin' and food! Now let us in!">

Subito looked deeply relieved, and leaned back in his chair with a bright smile. "Oh! Okay, I get it. A lot of this stuff comes with big doses of 'it depends', but at least if find some way to get to her, uh, territory you called it? Anyway, so long as I get there first or real fast I should be fine, 'kay!" It took a lot to make him uneasy for more than a few seconds, and something as abstract as the chance he might end up in the middle of some kind of spirit war didn't have much sticking power on him. Taking a deep and savoring drink of his tea, he took a moment to quietly think over what they'd said thus far. It seemed like everything was a lot less fearsome now he'd gotten an idea of what could happen, and he cringed inwardly at how outbursty he'd been a few seconds ago. 'You do know that's foolish? What you need is preparation, not reassurance Aw, you know I will! I just have to learn what I need to take and stuff' "Thank you very much Mr. Cim-uh, Nick, Etain, Morg. This has been super helpful." the powerfully-built boy smiled brightly at his hosts. Taking another of the small sandwiches he ate it with small bites, asking curiously "So, about that scrying thing, you know a way I could do that? I haven't had much practice there. Or...well, with any kind of magic." he said ruefully, resting an arm on his chair and taking another measure of tea(this time camomile).

"Well, I suppose 'need' is kind of a bad choice there" the muscular boy admitted "But they'll wanna know everythin' they can about you so whoever your supervisor is knows what they're in for, an' to make sure you're not a horrible killer or somethin." He smiled at Elias and gave his shoulder a light squeeze "I bet you'll be fine El. Lots of guys with way less ability to do work get jobs and keep 'em." Turning back to the sidewalk ahead, Subito was initially surprised at how they had blindly avoided some of the knots of Freedonians still wandering the streets, hurrying or sauntering. Suddenly the words 'like a web that trembles' took on new meaning. "Harvest markets are pretty light on the questions, if I recall correctly, though you'll wanna learn how to smile at least politely." he added with a sideways glance at Elias' stony frown "if you don't, folks will start thinkin' they said or did something wrong, an' that makes 'em nervous. Shouldn't be too hard! I believe in your power to look happy!" the young paragon said with a cheery grin.

GM "By all means, do it!" Nephilim told Warp cheerfully. As the metal sheaves began to tear and crumble under the dual strains of Glow's mighty mind and his muscles, he seemed to relax, hooding his gentle gray eyes. "Your friend knows when she's beaten, kid. She's giving you a chance to live at the cost of her own life! So don't just stand there, go get some other pals, bring them back here so they can mourn a fallen soldier." He smirked "Maybe if you put up a good fight I'll put her back together for you..." Nephilim swung his head around at the Australian telekinetic, face contorted into a picture of pure rage. Opening and shutting his mouth a few times he managed only "You...insipid brat. I..." for a moment it looked like he was on the verge of tears, but it quickly vanished under a smooth and composed look of fury.

Puffing out his cheeks and scowling at sky sky as 'Acinonyx' spoke, the caped and cowled man began to reach for the device in front of him. 'At the very least we can find ou-' "Whoa!" he exclaimed as a yellow-black blur suddenly blazed past and turned into Jubatus, the young man blinking in momentary surprise before he recovered himself and waved happily. "Jubatus, a friend of mine" he added for Rabbit's benefit. The fanatic's words had gotten to him a little more than the sanguine and jaded Jay, one of the perils of being a tender-hearted soul. Thus he was a little quieter than normal when Jubatus trotted over to him. The dark-skinned hero smiled "Good plan, Jubatus" he replied evenly, picking up the small machine and carefully beginning to disassemble it. Scrutinizing the work of his delicate fingers he said "So far as I know, this seems like one of those man-to-beast things Dr. Simian uses now and then. Haven't made any more detailed examinations I'm sorry to say" he admitted with a rueful look, glancing up at Jay "In fact I've scarcely done any research at all. If you would be so kind as to tell me and our mutual ally Rabbit" he gestured grandly at the young woman with his right arm "what you know, it would be invaluable."

GM "Relieving one of us?" the same guard asked on bafflement. Moving aside a little to let the presumed Chad in he looked dubiously at the new arrival "Uh, if you say so buddy. Dunno what good that'll do now Yllich has us hunkered down here. Hey, guys," he added to the others in the sleek uniforms "Any of ya close to ending your shift?" After a few minutes of disagreements, a brief argument about what constituted a 'shift' that took the sharp voice of their apparent commander to stop, and a very poorly-done lie, it turned out that none of them had received word about anything like that, and it was generally agreed that Chad had just been duty-pranked during the first major attack the facility had seen for decades. This did a lot to ingratiate himself to the soldiers, and they heartily welcomed him to the most boring part of the base. "Nothing happens here, and it won't happen today" one of them declared authoritatively "The big guns outside are more than a match for any six supers in the world, uh, unless Dark Star or some of those guys in the Liberty League attacked...anyway! Even if the Freedom League itself showed up. the metas Dr. Green's cookin' up upstairs would take 'em down!" he smiled confidently and eased the grip on his rifle. Glancing at Clark he added "Damn, wish I could gain weight quick as you can. What in heck's your secret?" "Cuftbert?" snapped the voice of the muscular woman checking a small chest-high wall near the front door "Shut it. Stay focused gents, sensitive info's in here and we can't risk anything happening to it because two showboating supers appeared. " The ventilation tunnel led to a small gap between the roof and the wall of computer banks, a complex fan network carrying warm air from the thrumming electronics and their mechanical berths out the back where it flowed elegantly upwards. The height of the space was just large enough for a grown man to crawl, but it would be almost impossible to avoid being seen. From his vantage point the King of Suits could make out the scattered squads of Dr. Green's soldiers, each in knots of four or five and armed with standard-issue military hardware that could have come from almost any market. They numbered at twenty-seven, counting their busy leader.
