Heraldo will do as he is bid, flying up next to one of the ptero-riders and punching him in the face: 21. Using the Soldier archetype from the Core Rules, but without the modern equipment or Skills, and Handle Animal and much more STR and CON. Hits. DC26 Toughness save: 5. Well, he's out. Three more fliers, their rolls: 10, 15, 19. #2 and 3 go after the T-Rex, #4 goes before it next round. Thevshi, would you kindly commence?

January 13th, 5.42 PM, 2013 Chez Henri, Liberty Street, Midtown On the sleek and stately steps leading up to the blazing double-doors, besuited Subito Sondo leaned against a brass rail and contemplated his fate. The Chez Henri had seemed like the perfect place to take Cerys out. A classy French restaurant, with upscale clientele and renowned food? How could that have gone wrong? All the reviews he had read, all the people he had asked about had all sworn by its suitability for taking a young lady out for an unforgettable evening. As he looked up at its magnificent carved facade and thought with a pang of quiet horror about what he had spent to get he and Blodeuwedd inside however, all he could think was 'God, why didn't I just ask her out to Maddens or something? What have I done?' He sank into his well-tailored and very flattering suit and observed a stray drift of dirty snow on the sidewalk for a moment before he stood up straight, jaw set defiantly and eye ablaze with determination. This wasn't about him, this was about making a magical evening for the kind of girl who floored him, all else was as dust in the wind! "Faint heart never won a fair lady, 'Bito" he told himself sternly, ignoring the askance glances from a much older and worldly-looking couple passing by him arm in arm. He looked then up and down the street, hazel eyes darting about for a sight of the young super-agent. Whatever else it was, tonight would be memorable.
-
Subito met Nick's eyes and nodded slowly, digesting this new revelation. The complexity of this new world was a lot to take in, but not completely overwhelming even to the inexperienced paragon. Setting down his cup he turned to Etain with a frown that jarred with his usually cheerful face. "I...I really don't know what she has planned for me. She talks sometimes 'bout me going back home and 'finding my anvil', but whenever I ask more she gets all tight-mouthed and prissy-" he stopped and looked at something a bit above the illusionist's head, mouth moving briefly before grinning "Anyway, yeah, greater spirit sounds about right to me. Let's go with that." he took a sip of his Breakfast tea and looked back at Nick. 'He has nice eyes Agreed, comforting' "So, she's not quite up there with gods, but she has a similar level of..I guess the word's authority, since she represents a place and people? That about right? So, what would I need to get into her world?" he rolled his shoulders for a few seconds, the warm room making the suit jacket increasingly stifling and uncomfortable. After a desperate inner struggle he slid it off him with a neat movement and, holding it folded in his arms asked Etain sheepishly "Hey, uh, where can I put this?"
-
"Yeah," Subito agreed, his breathing much more relaxed, his eyes no longer moving "the Bowmen and Ravens are real admirable for all they've done without any powers. But someone who can carry so much power and remain so...good, I look up to that, I want to be that someday" he told Mali with quiet sincerity. His composure grew straighter, his hair fell away from in front of his eyes and he went on softly "But still, they're amazing people who do so much without powers. You don't have any Mali?" 'Huh, didn't expect someone tough as her to be so thought- No wandering Right, sorry...'

I would prefer he fought. More awesome for Glow, and allows the Devil Doctor freer reign for future things.
-
"From the lakebed, your Highness" Subito answered politely, taking off his shirt and wringing it out over the side of the boat. He glanced at Blodeuwedd and marveled again at how amazingly calm she was. Sitting cross-legged on the elegant table he faced the Queen and wracked his brain for the most poetical way to describe his trip, plastering a huge grin on his face as he was that thrilled at what he had seen. "The bones of a giant stretched above us, Lady, like the arches of a cathedral! The mud sucked at the iron, but we proved stronger than it's cold grip..."

GM The enormous dinosaur bellowed with pain as the enchanted sword carved through its thick hide, flesh and bone! Staggering forward into the hall and with blood leaking thinly from the cauterized gash, the tyrannosaurus nearly obliterated one of the walls as it blundered about, sinking down onto the floor amid a hail of broken bones as the dazed beast struggled to muster the power to seek out whoever had harmed it. From Blodeuwedd's vantage point, she saw a very unexpected sight: Roman cloth and iron nailed into its head and back, with words of victory and glory to the Princeps Septissmerus spelled across its length. Suddenly the light of the moon and stars above was blotted out by winged shapes, and fearsome croaking rang through the air. One of the Incas pointed his spear and cried in horror <"Winged riders! Someone has sent the pterodactyls against the Jungle Tribes!"> and so it seemed, with distant wheeling shapes in unmistakable silhouettes swooping down towards the chaos enveloping the capital, human-shaped things on their backs urging them on.

That hits! DC25 Toughness save: 15. Wowzers! Okay, that would be a Staggered and a Dazed condition. And it is somewhat confused about its identity. Semi-Autogyro, if you would!
-
El Heraldo will carry Broken Crow. If TiffanyKorta is alright with it, Stealth roll: 20. Wut. Survival roll: 13. DC10 Fortitude save: 24.
-
With great surprise Subito listened to Broken Crow's explanation, eyes narrowed and chin resting on his hunched-up knees. After the learned Master Mage of this time made plain their situation, he remained very still and quiet, thinking over what the man had told them. When Young Britannia suggested they try and end this woman's menace, he said quietly "I am behind this 100%, let's do this!" Agnus seemed pretty sure of their capabilities, and he wasn't one to disagree with her when it came to when she wanted to fight! Jumping up to his feet the stocky Claremont student picked up Earth's greatest wizard and began to make his way quietly towards the mantled trees "I'm not as strong as Mz. Stone, sir," he told the Mage in a hushed voice "but Agnus has light powers, she can at least kinda hide us from Madame Crazypants." With long and flowing steps through the murky and unclean swamp, Subito bore Broken Crow past the tree line.
-
Subito had readied himself passably well for the split-second work of catching anyone not able to make a soft landing on their own. Whistling in quiet admiration at the young wizard's nimbleness, he had just been about to ask Arcturus a very pressing question when the shots cracked savagely through the air! Darting several yards into the air on instinct before he caught himself, the patriotic paragon glowered at Errant for a second before flitting back down and asking his question "How real is this? Real enough to hurt people?" he glanced at where the reports came from "And should we go charging over there?"
-
The stocky boy looked chagrined and quickly shook his head "Yeah, sorry Mali, like I said I've never tried meditating before. Let me try it again." maneuvering one denim-clad leg and battered running shoe under the other for better(or at least more interesting) balance, he got back into the position he had just been coached through and remained quiet and still for a minute or so. Then a soft gold fog curled at the edges of his body and he murmured to the strongly-built martial artist "Hey, this is about relaxing and easing the mind, right? Could I try and focus on something to help with that?" without waiting for the answer he added "Y'mentioned you like learning about legacy heroes, what one's your favorite? Mine's the Ladies of Liberty."

'And now, to battle!' Darting out from behind the wall, Wave-Eye raised the conch to his lips and blew mightily through it, a gurgle suddenly followed by a roaring torrent of water that all but exploded out of the shell! Planting himself squarely on the ground the massive triton formed a vast sphere of red-streaked water around the Deep Ones, swirling around the aquatic abominations and totally encompassing them. Slinging it back at his side and breathing heavily from the exertion, he gestured to them with a spined claw and grinned at Temperance "Now, we will have some ammunition!" he looked darkly at the tank, adding "Do not worry, lady, such as these are rarely a true test of might." he cracked his knuckles and grinned at the four sea creatures with gleaming fangs "Prepare yourselves, craven minnows!"
-
Time to do what he does best, make waves! Using Create Object to make a big old water sphere 120ft. wide, deep and tall around the Deep Ones.
-
Briefly flailing as he halted his descent through the sky, Heraldo shook off some of the monster's slimy blood and snapped back at Adamas "I totally I had it! You're not the one who has to actually be right next to him to do damage!" Blushing furiously at both his poor showing and the diamond-boy's taunt, the patriotic paragon roared through the air to slam his shoulder into the snake, driving into the minion of Apep so hard he rebounded off the shadow-creature's mighty hide, muttering angrily as he surveyed its ebon body, and realized he hadn't even dented its scales. "Time to try something else, Dama Azul..." he murmured, gathering the spirit's power into himself as he watched the thing with care.
-
GM The diamond javelins tore through it like a rain of spikes! With a piercing yet strangely flat and muted shriek the serpent of Apep lashed violently and flung Heraldo away in its spasms, black ichor streaming from its wounds and splattering onto the road far below! At last its struggles ceased, until it hung motionless in the sky with its gaping head pointed at the earth, eyes rolling in pain as it tried to recover from the devastating attack!

Round 1 Blodeuwedd: Unharmed, 2HP Myrmidon: Unharmed, 3HP Heraldo: Unharmed, 4HP Tsunami: Unharmed, 2HP T-Rex: Unahrmed-GM Go to, TiffanyKorta.
-
Alright, since he's been so kindly freed by the dashing Adamas, Heraldo will take a swing at the Fang: 24! Hits. DC26 Toughness save for the Fang: 31. Nope! Fang makes a regular Blast at Heraldo: 14. Miss. EDIT: No it doesn't because it's frickin' Dazed! Round 3.
-
Clearly no longer at peace, Subito shuffled in place, switching his crossed legs a few times before suddenly giving a sharp mutter of irritation and opening his eyes, hunching over and looking into the tinkling pool. Staring into the wavering gray mirror for a few moments he asked Mali "What classes you takin' this quarter? I'm in Mystical History 115, the Metahumans in Politics series, 'n that new class with Raquel Launders, about law and supers. You got any interesting ones?" he realized how weird a question that sounded and shrugged apologetically to her. "Sorry, I just wanted to ask somethin' that would take my mind off meditating right." he rolled his eyes and leaned back on his palms "You know how if you think about other stuff than what you're doing it makes stuff easier, or whatever?" he grinned "Seems like meditating is kinda the same way."

Heraldo called over as he passed her, Hammerhead's corpse in his arms "You know the archer that looked just like Tona and killed all those people? It-it was actually a robot." he glanced over at Kit and winced before he went on guiltily "The robo-...we couldn't capture it. It exploded when Warp smashed it's head." he explained. Laying the body gently on the platform he flew back over to her "Um...are you feeling any better?" he asked without much hope "At least we know she's been kidnapped and whoever did it uses robots?" the stocky young paragon looked away when he saw her expression "Sorry, that was even dumber'n usual. Blodeu's in that van. She'll know what to do, pro'lly" he jerked a thumb over at the news van Blodeuwedd had gone into to try and get a handle on what was going on.

Round 1 Glow: Unharmed, 2HP Rapidsfire: Unharmed-GM Marduk: Unharmed-GM Warp: Unharmed, 1HP Go to, Scuffles.
-
And this is why I should never GM anything, ever, as I actually knew that.
-
DC34 Toughness save for the Fang of Apep: 28. Wow. Bruised and Dazed. Grapple released.
-
GM "Surrender? To you?" Marduk asked Glow in astonishment, incredulity dripping from his voice. 'Rapids fought back a grin as she said "Oh no! However will the great and powerful Marduk deal with such a fearsome offense? Tru-" "Rapids? Silence." the robed man snapped, eyes not wavering from the two young heroines. The tone of it, however, was sharp enough Drawing himself up to his full height, he looked down at Kristin as he replied loftily, a dour smile growing on his young and haughty face "I will tell you what me and 'Rapids are searching for, as a courtesy to your kind for keeping this world in such good repair for ours: a piece of paper of great value to one or more individuals. And now you know that," he added softly, an aura like a blazing green light suddenly shining around him "so I can demonstrate why none of us surrender to the likes of you." and suddenly raising a hand over his head he grasped a handle that flashed into existence, gave a cry of "So falls the HAMMER OF MARDUK!" and sent a blast of mystic power slamming down at Glow's head!
