Excellent. Philos realizes that Archetype is trying to hide just how many animals they brought along.
-
Alright, the antelopes do not bolt and are successfully teleported back to Africa. A Sense Motive roll would not go amiss, by the way.

He almost cannot fail. DC10 Attack roll: 14.

GM There was a perilous silence before Wreak's glower gave way to a look of deep caution, and he stepped backwards a few steps, accidentally crushing an old playbook under his foot. Clearing his throat he said coldly "I and Archetype are only two of a new race that will soon supplant humanity. Our ancestors come from what this weak and degenerate race call the Lost World, where man lives and battles eternally with monsters such that but haunt the dreams of your kind. The powers granted to us, a mark of our destiny, come from no lesser source than a spring that was drunk from by our clan eons ago, and has granted us long life and great strength! But the ancestors of that fool Zandar drove us from our home using allies from this world and deception, cheating us from our birthright to rule the saurian-infested lands! We have dwelt in Africa for the last two hundred years, and now rise to take our prize: the entire planet of Earth!" he eyed the man in front of him warily, the symbols on his costume ceasing their glowing and receding into the spandex. In a low voice he added "The last thing we need, and the reason I and my sister are here is an ancient mask of terrible power. The animals we control? They are our natural servants, and we do not have to sully ourselves with such slave-work as this!" he proclaimed, gesturing to the rather disrupted shelves and scattered merchandise. "Stand down, and we shall let you live."

Well there's only one telepath around sooooo...Heraldo is receptive! Failing the Will save.

Interest: As a player, though if needed I'll gladly GM as well. Setting: Preference is for Freedom City, sometime in the early 1930s. Character: King of Suits, here a normal guy(PL6) named Roi Marceau striving to break the grip Driogano's mob has on his neighborhood. Ending: He fails and is killed by Big Al's men, though his efforts do inspire others to begin the work of overthrowing that yoke.

Thumping Victoria on the back, Galanta stepped over to the other side of the court, catching the basketball as it bounced past her and tossing it into the air, bouncing it off her head as she directed the others. "Okay, Victoria, you take the front court. I'm a bit taller so I'll do better on defense. 'Bito, you and Serge start..." Twenty minutes later: "Great job guys!" she sang out enthusiastically and clapping the Claremonters not related to her on the back "You've got good moves Surge! I don't think Vick would have gotten that last shot in if she hadn't done that twist-thingy move at the end." she turned her beaming and sweaty face to the red-eyed girl "Good work on offense, by the way! Never would have thought of having both people work in tandem like that." she glanced at Subito, raising an eyebrow and the heavily-panting boy "You...feeling alright 'Bito? Didn't seem like you were giving it your all, you know?" her brother looked briefly chagrined and then laughed it off with a dismissive wave, gasping out "Nah! I'm just-just out of practice, I guess..I'm gonna go sit down, just a second." he said with a reassuring smile, walking over to the bench next to Rodrigo, who was busily sketching away at his notebook. Glancing with interest over his shoulder Subito gave a low whistle, provoking a sharp look from his cousin, oblivious to that he observed brightly "That's great work Rodrigo! Really good detail, 'specially on the upper legs and shoulders of Vick and Surge" he said admiringly, pointing at the well-drawn areas of interest, the withdrawn boy next to him responding with a quiet "Yes, it is. Got good photos to work from. Copying wasn't too hard." Shrugging away the praise he went back to his drawing, long hair drooping over the sketchbook. The bulkier put his hand on Rodrigo's shoulder, saying lightly "Hey man, don't-" only for his hand to roughly seized by Rodrigo's own, which very suddenly began to glow blue as armor slid over it. Glaring daggers at his cousin the lean and ungainly Puerto Rican said on a low, dangerous voice, the armor slowly covering him from head to foot "You do not know art. You do not know talent. You would not know a good line from a bad one, you are ignorant! I will not accept praise from you, who knows and understands and is nothing!" he thundered, his body clad entirely in a hulking suit of gothic plate armor, with two fins running down the beak-like helmet. Raising Subito into the air he thundered "I've put up with your taunts, snide remarks and plain damn idiocy for TOO LONG!" and then threw him clean across the court to crash into the net!

The rush of the South River was soothing to the nerves, and for a few perilous seconds Heraldo relaxed. He gazed over at the setting sun, and knew that all would be well. The passage of the river drowned out the noise of dissolving glove, and he realized only too late that something had happened. At the still, quiet proclamation of "Crap" he started, and swung downwards in a golden arc towards where he saw the body of Errant vanishing under the water, swinging a powerful arm under him to carry him to safety, only to miss by mere inches! His hand splashed right next to Errant's head and came away empty, the young paragon staring in horror as the telepath sunk out of sight. 'You must-! I know!' Heraldo dove into the water right after his schoolmate, an explosion of shining bubbles streaming after him as he glanced desperately around the dirty water and drifting muck for the other boy, hearing strained for the heartbeat of Elias.
-
Darnit El! Okay Moving to intercept him, and trying for a Grapple. To hit roll: 12. I dunno, you want me to keep that for hilarious drowning shenanigans, or should I re-roll/do a different thing?
-
"You'll be a hero if you stay, Mr. Cloak." Heraldo said gently, standing behind Glow as a quieter counterweight to her stern ferocity. "Do you want to be the man who ran off and destroyed the last chance to stop El Sierpe? Those people we rescued from his vile doctor cannot stay there forever, and if you flee now or refuse to bring proof of his misdeeds you will be responsible for their misery as well as your own." he narrowed his eyes as a golden glow began to play at the edges of the room "Or would you rather become the man who stepped forward and produced the evidence that brought El Sierpe's house of crime tumbling down? The man who when nobody else could prove it, revealed the truth of his evil and illegal deeds!" El Heraldo glanced at Glow sideways as he went on "And Glow is right: if you do not stay and take a stand against the Serpent we cannot promise we'll be able to help you when his assassins come. Do you think that you can escape a crime lord so easily?" he shook his head and looked down at the floor to think through what he was going to say next, the feather in his cap swaying to and fro. His eyes darted back up to the lawyer's "The choice is yours. If you stay we can do what Glow says, if you run we can't." he said with quiet finality.

Ah, sorry for not counting up on my own. Also! Important note about Description: you need to explain what the character looks like, regardless of whether or not you have a picture to help. It can help evoke details that a flat image cannot.

That is an unusual character concept. Reminds me a very little of Colt. Not a fluff master myself so I won't comment further. Big formatting thing: you do not need to put brackets around the Skills and Feats and their ranks, it's quite unnecessary! Smaller formatting things: please list how much you bought of each Ability like so: 20 + 8 + 14 etc... before the PP total. Make clear how much you bought for each of the Exotic Saves, also before the PP total. I know it's pretty obvious, but it's part of the form. Defense and Attack needs to also be separately accounted for, as do each of the Powers. As for the 3PP unspent, why not a couple of ranks in Knowledge(Galactic Lore)? It's not in the book, but recently added to the House Rules. Seeing as she has Impervious Toughness, how about a rank of Interpose as well?

'Huh. Maybe she's been having a lot of classes and just not gotten out much.' Subito thought, giving the lean girl an encouraging nod as she adjusted to the water before he donned his goggles, and with a twirl slid onto his back to begin a smooth, powerful backstroke. Something about her manner reminded him of his sister. "I know what you mean, Kat!" he called back as he was propelled away from her "For a while my own powers let me lift whole cars without even calling all of it. It was handy but a bit annoying for the guys at the auto shop." he commented idly, looking up at the ceiling as his arms dipped and pushed through the pool. Thinking aloud he went on "My parents weren't too concerned about it, they were just happy the gift was useful around the house and at work, and wasn't 'make stuff I touch explode'. My sis-gah!" he had forgotten to pay attention to where he was going and winced as his hand harshly skimmed the rope dividing up the lanes, shaking it under the water and checking it briefly before shrugging and returning to his swim. "Ow. Sorry, anyway my sister Galanta thinks I oughta find a way to shoot lasers from my eyes. Any of your siblings get powers too Kat?" he asked with sudden excitement, sitting up in the water and removing his goggles with a shake of his soaked hair as he reached the other end, resting for a few seconds before getting back to the swim.
-
Laughing heartily at the girl's neat movement, Subito stepped up to the edge of the lane next to hers and dropped into the water with a tremendous splash, his feet scraping the floor of the pool as he glanced casually about, checking for anything left on the bottom before kicking back up to the surface and treading water with slow, graceful moves of his arms and legs. "Pleased to meet you, Kat! I ain't seen you around the school before, you a new student?" he asked with a wry grin as he pushed his streaming hair out of his face "Or have I just been walkin' past you for a year and never noticed you?" he glanced down the lanes, sliding the goggles up onto his forehead as he did so, wincing as he accidentally caught one strap under his ear. "You've got a strong grip, by the way Kat," he added with an admiring look "That part of your powers? I've met a lot of girls around campus with just crazy strength." He leaned against the edge of the pool, sketching out what he wanted to work on that day.

GM With a dark smile Arnold nodded at Crow's request, and with a breath of wind he swept back through the window he had crashed in, alighting on the roof and shouting out at the stumbling forms outside the church "Come inside, mindless demon! Are you so afraid of a mere church, two children and an old man?!" he asked mockingly, a flare of light around him making sure he was seen. As his words echoed out over the street, the Dis-Possessed stopped for a moment to consider the invitation. With a growl one of the trio, a young and very fit woman wearing a heavy leather jacket over a white shirt, scuffed jeans and with dirty blonde hair in a ponytail dashed forward into the bank of fog that drifted out the door, shouting out "We will not be denied!" The other two, a looked at each other and shook their heads. as one they spoke "She will not last." The one on the left, a vaguely middle-aged man, stepped backwards into the middle of the street, looked up at the two on the roof, and began murmuring in a language that seemed to darken the air, the all-too familiar scent of brimstone beginning to roll through the air, and hellfire beginning to coalesce between his fingers. The other, a woman of roughly the same age, walked next to them, raising her hand over his as cold light began to shine over it. "I do not miss." they said. The possessed woman hurled herself clean through the door in a shower of splinters and a neat roll a few feet from Changeling. Springing to her feet, she cast about in the fog before suddenly growing still and sniffing the air. "We sense you!" she cried, lashing out at the elegant illusionist with a burning leg that missed entirely, instead smashing a gigantic chunk out of the pew next to her and scattering its smouldering pieces against the wall.
-
The air nearby was suddenly filled with an echoing thud as the door to the boys' locker room swung open, responded to by a much duller one as it closed. With the damp slaps of bare feet on the wet floor, the muscular and curly-haired form of Subito sauntered into the pool room, humming cheerfully to himself as he checked the pair of bright blue goggles around his neck. The Puerto Rican teen had never swum more in the last eight years than he could at Claremont, and he made sure to visit the damp room at least once a day, enjoying the feeling of rushing through the water, his latent powers letting him stay under the surface as long as he liked, listening to the sounds of laughter, beating hearts and the thrum of energies that surged around him, especially when the hydrokinetics had their turns. He glanced around the room as he walked with loose strides over to the lanes, waving at a familiar Hawaiian boy bobbing in one of the other pools as he passed, Rick Kahuna regaling some of the other students about an incredible battle between one of Richard Kahuna's forebears and a living volcano. Tossing his towel onto a nearby and unoccupied chair next to the pool, he began a languid series of stretches before he very suddenly noticed Kat. Blinking in surprise he stepped over to her, offering her a powerful hand, smiling warmly as he said "Hola! Sorry, didn't see you there. My names Subito, what's yours?" he asked, pumping her hand vigorously as he glanced at the pool itself, asking casually "Hey, you need more'n one lane? I can stick to the edge of the pool if you need." he said with another, somehow even warmer smile.

GM The kick did no harm on its own, but it did trigger a jolt through the grey form of Kaiser who leaped to her feet with a furious snarl, the hands that crowned her head grabbing into the earth around her and swirling around in a flurry of rock and steel-like skin! The long blades of volcanic stone that she pulled through the ground and into the air scythed viciously, two arms cracking straight into Voltage's weakening body and leaving painful bruises, another hissing viciously into Stormbreaker's side with an ominous stab of pain. "You'll pay for that, swordswoman! If Green didn't want you alive..." her words degenerated into mutters and snarls as she stood once again to her full height, the muddy and debris-strewn earth twisting around her ominously.
-
Bristling at the scornful words, the King of Suits glared up at the much stronger-looking man, stepping forward and planting himself directly before the looming Wreak. 'Why on Earth are all the 'we're the next stage in evolution!' people so...evil?' Eyes burning holes in the head of his adversary he said "People much stronger than you have challenged me, Wreak. And they didn't need to hide behind animals and empty threats." stepping closer he added with a growl "And I not giving me answers won't keep me from wanting to fight you. I don't fear you at all, and so far you're acting like just another power-mad imbecile!" standing mere feet from the towering man he carefully steeled his limbs and kept his face entirely fixed in an expression of defiance and contempt. Of course, the fact that he was standing considerably too close to a man with unknown powers and abilities beyond the reach of the great majority of mortals meant that was something of a struggle.
-
GM "Well then, 'superhero', I'll tell you what I can remember." gently lifting the other guard, the man made his way over to a nearby couch, depositing the body there and still carefully not showing their face. Checking over the security guard's weapons he explained "The man was dressed in a green coat, blue hat and green pants. He had this purple scarf around his face and-" he removed the other man's helmet to reveal a small patch of darkened brown hair with red stains from the leaking wound and checked the pulse of blood through his jugular veins for a long moment, continuing "-and a sort of black briefcase in his left hand. He walked in, asked him" he nodded to the receptionist behind the safety barrier that had slammed into place the moment the alarm started "for some directions to the medical ward, and when asked for his name freaked right out." he shrugged "And that's all I know besides what I just told you. Any other questions?" He still hadn't turned around.

So he shall. Flying up onto the roof and making a Bluff roll to Trick the Dis-Possessed to charge in at them: 7. Huh. Well, their Sense Motive rolls: 2, 18, 9. One fails it, and goes barging in. The other two hang back.
