GM The force of the throw, and the impact of the two bots, sent reverberations through the roof. The two robots fell to the ground as the one was sent crashing into the other, a tangle of twitching metal bodies writhing as they both struggled against one another. The one that had been used as a projectile however, had been horribly damaged from the impact, its chest caved in, head snapped nearly off, and most of its limbs bent double from the smash into its comrade who had activated its force dispersion field in time. Shrugging off its mangled comrade, the sleek robot turned its single eye cooly at the offender and assaulter, and with a sharp electronic chirp it and 7 of its fellows opened their gun ports, firing a vicious salvo at the three rescuers. Three concentrated their fire on the star-spanning Corporal, two aimed their pellets at the Penitent, and two others rained fire on the second ironclad.

It's a vast, silvery and spherical room lined with rotating green pools, filled with what look like lava. They connect to a network of glowing blue tubes that festoon the interior and block the majority of the room from view. The same substance the pools are filled with travels through these tubes. On Ironclad's left is a great conglomerate of rough-hewn metal levers and several cranks that clash terribly with the aesthetic of the rest of the room, which are pulling the doors back into their recesses by main force. The room is made up of seemingly arbitraily-large blocks, with only a few panels visible behind the tangle of tubes suggesting anything more to it than a pile of metal. The light from the tubes is overshadowed by an ambient light with no observable source. A tube arcs over the door, with a vaguely saurian creature with two heads oozing out of it and into another, working the levers and other apparatus. It gives off a great deal of heat, enough to make the air shimmer around it.

Weissbots 2-4 will be very angry at Corporal Cosmos and will shot at him for wrecking their comrade. 5-6 will shoot at The Penitent, 7-8 at Ironclad, and #9 will make a break for the teleport 'bomb'. which is about fifty feet away from it. 2-4's Attacks: 11, 12, 13. Flamingoes... 5-6's: 18, 28. Buh? 7-8's: 18, 13. So 2 DC25 TOU checks for Ironclad, and one for The Penitent. All but #9 are in close proximity(within 3-10ft. of eahc other. EDIT: Just realized I hadn't made a move for #10. Let's say he sits this round out and surveys the battlefield.

Weissbot Ref save vs. the Snare: 19. failed. So according to the rules for Improvised weapons(which this falls under, as it seems), the DC is based on the attacker's STR bonus, with +2 if the weapon's TOU exceeds said bonus. So in this case DC24. TOU save: 32. Whoa. alright, and as the DC was higher than the Weissbot's TOU bonus, they are borken on the impact.

So yeah, just realized "Hey! It's a *************************************ing Drain TOU power, and thus likely not opposed by a TOU save" as it has no FORT to save with, Ironclad disintegrates the thing's TOU score, which turns it to a pile of dust.

Alright, post away your destruction of the robot and daring escape through the teleporter(last-minute dives optional)!

King of Suits Marcy has been 3 years too old this entire time. He was born in 1987, not '84, and is currently 24. My apologies. Time punched by Trollthumper

DC23 TOU for the robot: 11. Boom. Okay, that is now the last planned martial obstacle for Glow in the facility, otherwise she has a clear shot at escaping with the two students. Do you want her to escape now with Frank and Lucy, send them on ahead through the teleporter, or do you want to do more damage to the OVERTHROW fellows with their(minimal) help?

Sil' sees one of the customers approach a employee in a markedly 'casual' fashion, who after a short(and seemingly rehearsed) conversation about hardware supplies is taken to0 the stockroom, where the door is simply removed from existence for a few moments with a wave of a snake-themed amulet. The two remove a box near the center of the floor and go down into a tunnel, the worker leading the way in the total darkness through the dry passage.

Wave-Eye silently contemplated this, arrived at the conclusion there wasn't much anything he could do about it, and went to lean against a wall, glancing around now and again to wonder where Kit had gotten to. The information that the crew were under threat of some silent, unstoppable killer wasn't good news either, and he hoped bitterly that he could at least see whatever it was before it attacked him too. He was baffled by Lord Steam's unflappable levity, considering their terrible situation and how little chance they had of escaping themselves, and mulled over whether it came from an ignorance of what such monsters as this that had entrapped them were like, or if the bizarre human was far more experienced with them than he himself.

Not really all that hard to listen in on conversations, so let's say it'll take a DC18 Notice check to catch the right people to listen in on in the the first place.

Marceau slipped noiselessly through the doorway, and on silent feet leaped into hiding behind a low couch just in time for Stephen to return from the kitchen with a mug of hot coffee. The King of Suits remained absolutely still and quiet as the man sat heavily down on the sofa and drank his beverage with solemn delight. After a few minutes that dragged on like hours, with a regretful sigh the man got heavily to his feet, deposited the mug in his sink, and strode over to a painting of a stormy sea, with a Spanish galleon being torn apart by a great sea serpent. raising it, he tapped a quick succession of numbers on the thing, which Marceau carefully observed and committed to memory. After entering in the code 56182, a hidden panel in the floor slid into a recess, through which the electrician climbed down on a ladder. Listening with utmost care as the soft clangs of his descent echoed up, the costumed vigilante prepared to follow his quarry to whatever end he skulked. Brushing off the dust that had accumulated on himself during his concealment, he drew on a pair of night-vision goggles and stepped down onto the rungs.

The youth smiled gratefully "I'll remember to do that Ms. Stone, and don't worry about me tryin' to call you up in the middle of the night, my dad taught me some manners at least." He stepped away from the dogwood as she told her story, eyes widening in surprise at the...non-standard teaching method her spirit had employed. "Man...I'm really glad the Blue Dame just tells me how to do stuff, that sounds like a kind of scary way to learn." He gave what he had heard serious consideration, an inkling that maybe the genius loci she and he acted for didn't think in a human fashion growing in his mind. His head usually drooped in thought, and so he had to swing it up sharply to ask his next question: "Has the book moved any, Ms. Stone?".

GM Glow: With a savage thundering, the last remaining robot sent a shell rocketing towards the telekinetic, shooting it almost directly at the her feet and sending a rain of shrapnel hurtling through the air to collide powerfully with her defensive shield, its lightless eyes tracking her with no sign of interest about the fate of its comrades. It readied itself for her next attack. Arcturus: "Yes, he doesn't like bears very much" explained Waker "As for what he knows...he knows the basics of elemental manipulation, with very fine control over wind and water, he knows how to bind spirits and how to scry the future, and he can talk to most animals. I tried to give him a broad education. One thing he is very bad at" he continued thoughtfully "Is runes. He finds it quite difficult to grasp the idea of using them for spellcraft, and also has little patience for the magical languages, preferring to use his power through sheer force of will." he looked hopefully at Marcus over his roman nose and bushy mustache "Does that help?"

Subito was similarly crimson at the kiss, his mouth opening and closing several times as he struggled to think of an appropriate assurance or rejoinder, at last giving up and lightly pecking Janis on the temple. "Yeah, uh...gotcha Janis, I'll check over through that aisle, it looks like it might have something suitably Baroque" he said as they stepped in through the doors of the electronics store. I had no idea dates were this nerve-wracking he thought I would advise you to go a bit slower, El Heraldo sounded the deep, grave voice of the Blue Dame Awesome, how do I do that? he asked mentally ...I have no idea. That usually helped the others, at least, but they all got..involved with others a little later in life came the response Okayyy then, I'll try and figure out how to do that then Excellent

Yeah, I am a master of reading. Sense-Motive check: 19. Yay.

"So it appears" whispered Wave-Eye in return "A fortunate thing. OH MIGHTY KRAKEN!" he bellowed, sending echoes and reverberations through the water "I COME TO SEEK NEWS OF A SLAVER OF YOUR CHILDREN, WHO TURNS THE MIGHTY SQUID TO THEIR HUNTING BEASTS. AND DRIVES THEM TO WAR AND SLAUGHTER AGAINST THE SURFACE RACES!" he paused for a moment in order to regain some of his breath, panting from the effort needed to make oneself intelligible to such a giant. "AS WELL, HAS THE NAME 'NOCHEHUATL' BEEN SPOKEN IN YOUR HEARING AS OF LATE? THIS FIEND HAS SOME GRUDGE AGAINST ME, IT SEEMS."

Me too. Alright, with Empathy substituting Handle for other interaction skill: 15.

Yeah, that does miss unfortunately. Area Attacking again, same rolls as usual.

"We are in accord, friend Skull" Wave-Eye declared warmly, flashing a fanged smile at the severed head on his belt. With a flick of his dragon's tail, he followed the distant noises that only the truly vast among the water's denizens... ..."I easily forget how big they get" he murmured, awestruck despite himself at the leviathan. He had often served alongside mighty beasts that humans now dismissed as legends, but long years among humans and in the shallower parts of the sea had diminished them in his mind. "How old am I? Ah, Skull Face" he stared glumly at the mighty animal before him "I have lived long enough to see the great halls of ice retreat, I saw the lands of Lemuria and Atlantis not long after they sank, I felt the spell woven by the humans that placed the wards and barriers between worlds to prevent the gods and demons and other spirits casual access to the Earths. I am very old, as far as my reckoning goes I am somewhere around 12,000 years of age. And keep in mind," he added dourly "There are creatures beyond number far older than I, who count the likes of me as mere children. For all I know, that kraken is many ages older than I, and saw the halls of ice in their first conquest" he shrugged his broad shoulders "It is not important, what is is whether he knows who killed those of your race and carved my name into one of their foreheads." He slid closer to the enormous horror of the deep, slowly propelling himself forward with his tail until he was within a hundred meters of the beast.

Wave-Eye brought up the rear of the party, transforming his tail into a pair of powerful legs as he clambered heavily after Kit. Once on the gently pitching deck he watched silently as the oddly-dressed human spoke to the clearly rattled human who seemed to be in command. He'd seen people as badly afflicted many times before, but rarely had he been this close to them. And never had it been with even vaguely friendly intent. So it was with a mingled feeling of guilt and inarticulate dislike that he observed the various reactions to the crew's plight, mentally scolding himself when he saw the dark young woman hand over a pack of good. He could have grabbed several good things for the prisoners to eat, and it had never crossed his mind to do so. With a grating sigh, he focused on the swell of the ocean, on the soft tones and haunting melody that- NO. NO. NONONONONOOOOO! his slowly closing eyes snapped open, and he looked around frantically, turned to the edge of the deck, placed a foot on the rail, tensed and...relaxed. Turned away from the water and walked with heavy steps up to Lord Steam and Volodimir. "I ask your pardon" he hissed "but you must know, we have been trapped here. Some spell has been cast on us that will not let us leave the ship. I have seen it happen many times" he added, his ruddy skin paling around the scars and piercings "It is horrible. We must try and escape, or else a miserable death awaits us."
