Good. Hed-Ra's TOU save: 15. Failed by 8 so Dazed and Bruised. Though seeing as he's got no CON score, that damage would be Lethal, so Dazed, Bruised and Injured. Heraldo will make an attempted Slam(accelerated movement, +4 to DC) at Heqanefer. Attack roll: 4. -2 from the Slam. Move Action: fly up into the air. Heqanefer will attempt to break out of Medic's hold, Opposed Grapple check: 30. Escapes. Moves 10ft. away and switches to the Blast AP, takes aim at Saiph and fires. Attack Roll: 9... GM FIating a reroll of that, everyone gets a HP. 23. DC25 TOU check please.

Marceau looked in surprise at the opening door, his left hand falling from its instinctive grab for his grapple gun. Peering at the narrow tunnel he announced simply "I don't trust the look of that. Far too neat and easy to my mind. Needs to be tested for traps" he turned to Synth "Mz, thank you for doing that, I won't ask you to perform that same act with this chamber though, no need for you to grow hands to no purpose, just so we know where the razor wires are" he turned back to the tunnel, which he approached with care and stooped beside it. Drawing out three thin cards, he tossed them deftly into the passage. One flew upwards into the slim tangle of rafters, the second slid through the air straight for the door, and the third landed edge-first in the middle of the floor. He hoped to activate whatever security system might be in place, so they could at least know where it was to disable it. He hoped fervently it wasn't a bomb.

"How the heck was I supposed to know he'd notice you jumping aboard?" demanded Subito crossly. "Besides, we can talk to that Jackson guy as soon as this is over with" He scowled at the question of where Diamond might be "My guess is that he's gone or going to that holding place where those prisoners are. The captain told him to dump a body for their experiments" he glanced vengefully over at the captain secured to the chair before turning back to Glow "That, or he's gone back to his boat. If you want I can search for him by sound , shouldn't be difficult"

"Then let us away, O Fearless Leader!" proclaimed El Heraldo grandly, and without a trace of irony "Let us find the thing that gives movement to this obscenity of iron, and cease it's evil forevermore!" smiling broadly he set himself just behind Net Fly, with his back to the mutant "I'll make sure nothing sneaks up on us mate, me and my ears just might do some good here after all" He followed as quietly as he was able, sliding gracefully through the air with his eyes straining behind his brown mask, and his ears alert and twitching, primed and ready to sound the alert the moment he heard or beheld anything amiss.

Player Name: Arichamus Character Name: The King of Suits Power Level: 10, 150/150 PP Trade-Offs: +2 Attack / -2 Damage, +2 Defense /-2 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Bronze Status: 0/30 In Brief: Wealthy French businessman who fights crime out of a sense of civic duty. Alternate Identity: Marceau Suvou Identity: Secret Birthplace: Aude, France on Earth-W Tech 53 Occupation: Chief Executive Officer of the Suvou Technology Research & Development Conglomerate. Affiliations: STRaDC, Summit Transnational, Charity Family: Kioni An-Sallah-Suvou(Mother), Masud Suvou(Father), no siblings. Description: Age: (DoB: 1984, 21st of November) Apparent Age: N/A Gender: Male Ethnicity: Kenyan/Moroccan Height: 6' 2"/ 1.88 meters. Weight: 200Lbs./90.7 kg. Eyes: Blue Hair: Black An unusually fit man for a CEO, Marceau walks with a bounce to his step and a constant smile, eyes rolling smoothly over all he surveys without a jerk to their movement. In nearly every way, he shows total self-possession and calm. Attired in his eye-catchingly well-made suits at nearly all hours of the day, he never blends into even the thickest crowd. He's fairly well-tanned and keeps his personal hygiene up to snuff, positively glows with health, and wears tasteful jewelry to accessorize his impeccable wardrobe, including a broad ring on each finger ornamented with a small precious stone of a differing color, and a pair of eternally varying sunglasses. Power Descriptions: Marceau Suvou possess no powers, but a keen aptitude for the use and alteration of his conglomerate's tech. His rings glow with a different radiance depending on what kind of energy they emit, entrap people in EM coils, send non-lethal jolts of electricity through bodies, flashes of light and cracks of noise to blind and deafen, not to mention forming small disks of varying energy types over his hands for both melee and ranged offense. A pair of what he terms 'super-shades' grant him a variety of different vision options as well as using computers remotely, and a neat gray suit lined internally with kevlar, silk and carborundum make him nigh-bulletproof. History: Marceau Suvou has had the same life as his counterpart on Earth-Prime, except for one crucial difference: his parents never saved up the money to travel, and instead of the pastoral early life, he spent his time reading about the inner workings of his parent's work. Tedious at first, but it had an attraction he couldn't quite define. When he grew old enough, he entered business school, graduating with honors at the age of 21. He soon began the complex work of starting a business of his own: a technology development firm specializing in energy transfer and generation devices. This was aided by the fact that Earth-W 53 is at least three decades ahead of Earth=Prime in regards to technological complexity and power. It was no one advance that did it, no single decision that shifted that world, but a sudden burst of inspiration that caused the formal separation. Now, seven years later, he is richer than he ever dared hope, allied with Amir ibn Jafar ibn Abd Al-Aziz Al-Misri's Summit Transnational(and counting the man himself among his few real friends and allies) , the STRaDC has managed to increase the global quality of life by a significant margin, extending and streamlining trade routes between and in continents, radically reducing the congestion of urban India, and clearing what little air pollution hung over China. Marceau thought he was destined to spend his days leaving his small stamp on history, and then fade into the background while new advances swept him aside. It was while watching a student protest against the growing issue of crime in urban France that he realized that there was one place he could do good: in the constant battle against evil that hounded his world as much as it does Earth-Prime. Fired with new resolve he hurled himself into a rigorous training program, arranging for a small suite of hidden tactical centers from which to launch a war against the forces of supervillainy wherever they reared their head, and devoted a fortune to the development of new weapons. Choosing to disguise them as simple accessories like any other wealthy idler would decorate themselves with. With a financial empire at his back, skill in battle and a multitude of friends and allies stretching across the globe, the King of Suits will become a force for good to be reckoned with! Personality & Motivation: Charming and personable at all times, Marceau extends an aura of good will and grace to all he meets, even in the midst of battle. His humanitarian drive towards the betterment of all humanity being a large reason for that. A certain strain of vanity pervades him however, and he's quick to take credit when he believes it's his due. Powers & Tactics: Marceau is hardly a careless fighter. He is well-aware of how fragile he is, and makes certain to constantly be on the move in a fight, leaping from foe to foe and trying out new tricks on each to keep them off-balance, combining the effects of his rings providing often much-needed boosts. He makes a point of moving down a general checklist to scan for likely weaknesses, knowing Complications: Name: [Description] Example: Secret: Identity. Wave-Eye nearly dropped Skull Face in shock at the revelation. "A..squid?" he held Skull up to eye level and said flatly "A giant squid has been doing this? What kind of squid would go and kill humans for no-" he stopped, his eyes narrowing as realization hit him "Of course. The stupid things could be swayed with a pike wrapped around a piece of coral, it's like they're just a swimming stomach with arms, hate those things" he swam back up to the surface, muttering and snarling under his breath as he went. Upon reaching the surface he walked up to the detectives, telling them "According to this talking skull self-named Skull Face, a giant squid has been responsible for the deaths of numerous citizens over the years. I would guess they might be responsible for the perishing of this one as well" he nodded grimly at the corpse on the shore "If you wish, I shall seek the animal out and kill it"

"What Morgan said" answered Subito brightly as he took his seat, putting a companionable arm across her shoulders. This whole 'date' thing was turning out much better than the disastrous stories he had heard from his schoolmates, Hey, maybe we won't feel like we have to avoid each other once this is over after all! he thought cheerily to himself. To the other three he said "Yeah, first we go for a short shopping trip, then we go for lunch at this restaurant called Spacers. Newish place, serves all kinds of European dishes, I think you'll like it!" he settled himself a little further into his seat "Then, if you guys are willing, the mall theater is showing a bunch of serials based on the Atom Family from the 1960s"

Lifting the captain, the Herald carried him over to a chair, which he tossed the unconscious man unceremoniously into. Pulling off strips of metal from the bridge that he gauged wouldn't be needed, Subito rapidly secured the man in case he woke up soon and wanted to try his luck again. Looking around at the others he quietly applauded Glow's power and skill, setting himself to the task of piling them into a mound near the captain. Upon accomplishing this task, he floated over to Kristin and said brightly "So..now we radio the Coast Guard, find Diamond and finish these guys?" he glanced over at the radio in question "Er..I don't know how to work that. Do you?"

Like most inhabitants of Earth-Prime, Marceau Suvou has many doubles in other universes, this is a few of them. Earth-W Tech 53: Rich, happy, and with impossible flair! Anti-Earth: Bitter and murderous enforcer of another's power. Earth-

GM Disregarding Net Fly(though a deep sense of hurt at the rain of punches slowed his feet a little), the mummified Hed-Ra shot through the air, landing on the carpeted central aisle with a thud and explosion of dust, from which a bandaged left arm slammed into Medic's shoulder. "Sorry" murmured the cold voice of the undead king "but I am bound to his defense. I mean no ill to you. Release him" he added steeping back a few steps and looking as imploring as a dessicated corpse who's face was hidden from view could "I'll see to it he doesn't hurt anyone else but your friends"

<"Coffee?" mused the Frenchman as he entered the flat "I am afraid I must decline, after getting drugged several times through coffee, and a natural disinclination towards drinks that make me thirstier makes me more than a little wary around them"> he smiled politely, leaning against a rather sparsely cluttered wall <"It would be best for both of us if I get straight to the point, so here it is: I need to know how you discovered and activated this Amulet's power. That and any contact you have made with demonic entities in the last month or so. This artifact"> he twirled the Amulet on its chain idly with his right hand <"is apparently a method used by the demon I happen to be chasing to enter this world"> he looked piercingly at Frederick <"And by the way Fred(may I call you Fred?): if you lie you will be doing a considerable disservice to yourself. I have no enmity towards you and wish to remove this monster from our world be done with it. I don't want to punish you for any foolishness on your part, won't reveal your theft to the police unless you want me to, and while I confess I'm really not into the sorts of pastimes you go for I'm not going to rag on you about them"> the steel rings on his right hand's first three fingers glittered in the reflected light of the whirling Amulet as he concluded quite casually <"Though if you get the chance, a good mile or so a day of running never goes amiss">

Who's That Coming, From Somewhere Up in the Sky? (IC)
Ari replied to Shofet's topic in Skies Above Freedom
Wave-Eye blinked in surprise at that. It was quite possibly the total opposite of everything he had learned in the sea. "I will remember that. I dare say it will not be easy to keep it in mind when dealing with the people I'll have to meet now" he looked down at the glistening shells passing by under them "Becoming a..'public idol; is pretty far from likely, I think. Not many moderns would give much thought to someone that looked like me" he gave a rather sour smile to the Penitent "I would bet a great deal that even aiding them will only go so far, but I will do what I can. Many freight ships travel from here, and so many are threatened by sea beasts it defies all logic" he shook his head, its strange interconnected hair waving like seaweed "And even the Lady Siren's Atlantean allies can only do so much. It's heavy work at the best of times" -
Opposing Sense Motive roll from the Cult Robots: 9. But that's a natural 20 so it beats that anyway.
-
That hits Upper Agent 4, and Lower Agents 1-4, their TOU saves: 14, 6, 8, 10, 12. All down! Upper Agents 1-3 and Lower Agent 4 left. They move to the back near the ramp and fire again. No point in rolling for them, they can't get criticals on non-Minions, and they can't hurt her anyhow.

GM Heqanefer sidestepped the path of Glow's telekinetic effort, but he was clearly not on his A-game anymore, and the soft trail of green light lit up his widened eyes as it passed. Glancing over at the origin of the attack for just a few seconds too long, he found himself trapped in the grip of the bizarre girl. Struggling mightily he snarled "Go to sleep? Because some whelp happens to be grabbing me? Never! I am Heqanefer of Set, and I shall not be beaten so easily!" squirming a little he added "Hed-Ra, your aid would be appreciated!"

Alright, agents(using the Soldier template from the Core) init. roll: 19. Agents 1-3 on the upper level will simply Attack with their oh-so-awesome +5 DMG rifles: 14, 18, 12 second hits, DC20 TOU save please. EDIT: her Impervious totally negates that. NVM. Upper Agent 4 will make his way by 20ft. to the alarm. About a third of the way there. Lower Agents 1-4 will make a Move action to the Upper level, and Ready an Attack with their fragmentation grenades. Trigger: Glow moving from her current spot. Agent 5 will make an Intimidate roll against Glow: 16.

GM Net Fly: The young mutant's relief and exhilaration was short-lived, for as he swung the deadly craft away from Earth he found himself staring at a distinctly bird-like ship cruising placidly towards him and his small craft. The main screen of the vessel was suddenly filled with an image of a robotic head, which declared flatly "who are you? why have you stopped that ship? we wish to perform a Cleansing on that planet, filled as it is with the pestilence of organic life" the world froze and the Doom Room's computer spoke "convince the robot cult to cease their attempted destruction of organic life. no means are closed to you, up to and including reprogramming" the laast word was almost ejected from the sound system. Arcturus: The sleeping dragon didn't even twitch as the young mystic crept past and over it, not even shifting its tail as Marcus stepped around it. The metal-reinforced wooden door was ajar, blown by the gentle breeze that waved the deciduous forest around him in a slow rhythm. Inside was surprisingly well-lit for a pre-industrial dwelling far from any observable civilization. The interior was a mass of magical nick-knacks and multi-hued lights, tomes on some forgotten lore on well-kempt wooden pedestals crammed everywhere they could fit. Talismans, rings gleaming with magical power, and even a flaming sword hanging point-first from the ceiling were in evidence. This and the cleanliness of the room argued for a supremely diligent and ordered mind.

Alright, Wyvern gets a -3 to its Notice due to being pretty sound asleep. Using the Dragon template from the Core. 18. Arcturus's footsteps go wholly unnoticed.

GM As if in direct answer, the neat gold and blue public transport cruised around the corner towards their stop, a solemn, wild-haired and powerfully-built man who looked to be in his fourties or so at the helm. With a soft screech of rubber on the relatively smooth pavement of the stop, it slid to a slow halt, opening its doors as the right-side tires deflated a little for easier access and departure. The four Claremonters were soon in the midst of a small crowd.

The stocky teen jumped again at Victoria and Morgan burst into being next to him and Janis. Recovering slightly quicker than the last time he shook their hands eagerly, saying "Thank you so much for inviting me, Janis and I just met, she's even more awesome than you said Vick!" he stepped a bit closer to her and glanced down the road, wondering aloud "The bus isn't late, is it? I didn't get my schedule" he added with a trace of embarrassment.

For his part, Subito was wholly unaware of the slightly moving shark jaw replica. "Pro'lly just a weakening wire" he suggested casually to Luke as he strolled after Morgan "makes no sense to me, putting animatronics inside a replica. It would just encourage jokers to fiddle with it. I know I would want to" he added the last sentence under his breath, looking around in awe at the reconstructed corpse. It would be an incredible thing to have seen one alive he commented internally. Remembering himself he quickly removed his cap and ruffled his shortened hair to get it back into its proper position. He at least knew enough etiquette not to wear hats indoors. To Kristin he whispered "Say, how many of those things do you think you could carry at once?"
