I wholly forgot the MAKE one, so it's actually my bad. :?

Subito shrugged helplessly at Luke's outrage "I didn't know this would happen, believe me! I'd have gotten my stuff on at the door if I had had any idea" he rose as well, placing a hand over his hear as he looked at the weird figure Heqanefer cut "Now why didn't I hear him?" he muttered in irritation "If he had done somethin' at the front door or in the hall I would have known about it, how did he-?" he glanced at the movie, where the Chinese mummy was beating the literal stuffing out of a tiger puppet "-Oh. The movie. Darn" He sighed angrily and murmured to Luke "Well, at least we can fight them" he looked down at the mummy with a cold intensity, ready at any moment to shed his everyday disguise and become El Heraldo!

Because I forgot. Okay, K-I mean Combat Time! Your enemies are the AA Oddballs Mummy as Hed-Ra, and Set as the magician Heqanefer. Initiative rolls, Heqanefer: 16. Hed-Ra: 26. Heraldo: 21.

GM Further discussion about the varying merits of snacks was cut short by a sudden disturbance. As Subito opened his mouth to suggest a time and place for this diagnostic, a sudden slamming noise heralded the arrival of an anachronistically-dressed man with a smooth forehead, a cold quirk of his lips, an ankh hanging from his right hand on a leather thong, and a sarcophagus hoisted over his left shoulder. Walking calmly down the central aisle to stand directly before the screen, he watched in evident amusement as Ren li's character, having been mummified in the Chinese fashion, arose to battle with the Russian archeologist who had disturbed his rest by not observing the proper rituals needed to keep him at peace. Placing the sarcophagus gently on the ground, he turned and addressed the confused students. "Young lads, and ladies" he began in a placid, utterly smooth voice that was almost infuriating to listen to "I am Heqanefer the Twelfth, a devotee of the great god Osiris and a magician besides. I have come to perform a very spectacular experiment for your delight, and edification. In this sarcophagus" he began, tapping the item in question with the ankh "rests a mighty king of the ancient Egyptian empire, a man born and extant in the Ninth Dynasty around 2140 B.C." he removed the lid with a smooth tug, revealing the corpse laid in state within "Hed-Ra, son of Shed! By the power of the ankh, symbol of the eternal wandering of the soul, return to your shell to strike down mine enemies, and bring back the glory of the ancient world!" thundered Heqnefer, raising the suddenly glowing ankh above the body, which suddenly twitched and began to slowly lever its way out of the coffin, peering at the world from behind its bandaged eyes, which were lit with a spectral luster. In a few moments, its previously confining wrappings were rearranged by its raiser, granting it free range of movement on limbs that by rights ought to have snapped then and there. The Chinese mummy on-screen sent a terrific backhand into the chest of the ultra-serious African translator, sending him flying on cunningly-concealed wires into the wall of the cave, at the same time Heqanefer pointed at the assembled movie-goers and said in a commanding tone to Hed-Ra "Go, O Pharaoh, DESTROY THE USURPERS!"

"I am a triton named Nochehuatl, now Wave-Eye" Wave-Eye snapped "A child of a human and an ocean god, who serves as the guard and soldier of theirs but may choose another master as they will. I was born thousands of years ago to the Lady of the Jade Skirt, Chalchuihtlicue, and a human named Chimali. I have fought under the waves for eons, and have waged war on behalf of nearly every power in the sea. I had no quarrel with whoever that was," he gestured pointedly to the corpse on the rocks with a spined hand "and saw you gathered there about this body. I live in the ocean, and have found no den to make my home yet, I sleep in the seaweed forest a mile out past your Great Bay, and try to keep your people from coming to harm by the stupid monsters that infest this coastline" he regarded the detective with cold distaste "And none of my aunts favor cats, though my distant and revered half-uncle Tezcatlipoca occasionally takes the form of a jaguar, in which guise he once caused earthquakes"

GM One of the other tellers handed over a laptop from a bag they had under the desk. It had a wifi connection, and quickly brought up the requested files, which were luckily publicly available. They quickly answered the question asked by Spitfire, as the house that the bank had been built over was indeed the home of a former villain, namely the first Sky Lord, who had lived there before his political views led him to take to the skies. Rumor had it that the place had become a veritable fortress before his departure, and the demolition of the place had taken so long that the holders of such a view felt entirely vindicated.

GM February 18th, 2012, Bayview, 11.45 A.M. The day was the first in the upcoming three-day weekend in America, due to the approach of Presidents Day. For the occasion, the Claremont students Victoria Knight, Morgan Crowe, Janis Jacobson and Subito Sondo had conspired to go on a double date at the convenient Bayview Mall, in part due to its proximity to the school, and its mystique as a spot for students to potentially thwart supervillainous attacks. Subito had only a slight relationship with Victoria and Morgan, and was thus deeply surprised at being asked along, a general lack of familiarity with the idea leading to him slightly overdressing in a smooth white dress shirt and black velvet pants. As had been planned beforehand, they would meet at the bus stop a few yards from the school gates, go for a short shopping stroll for an hour or so, and have a relaxing lunch. Subito rocked back and forth on the heels of his tough shoes, looking every now and again at the gate expecting to see one of the others. He had never met Janis before, and was quite excited to meet her.

Yes, for now. *SCARE CHORD*

"A name?" echoed Wave-Eye curiously, and he approached the corpse, kneeling beside it and looking with care at the English runes carved into it. After a short struggle with the language, he recognized the markings as his own name! He glared up at the forensic specialists "It seems that some fool is trying to get my attention. Someone who knows me of old, very old at that, to know my right name enough to spell it in your tongue. I guess they will want me to meet them. I will oblige" he got to his feet, and asked the louder of the two detectives "Was this corpse found on the shore, or in the water? This matters because depending where your fallen comrade was placed, is where I am expected to meet this creature" "Don't worry," he added coldly "I will not be kind to whomever did this"

Examining the scene Heraldo asked Glow "So..how are we gonna take these guys? You want me to draw their fire while you toss them about? I could definitely take down a few of them before they could manage to do damage to me" he scanned the men on the bridge with little love, wondering how much any of them thought about the people held captive in the lower decks.

GM The place wasn't any more pleasant further down than the top-most level had been, a rusting hulk of catwalks, cramped mildewing offices, and forbiddingly spacious recreation rooms, presumably for the workers' relaxation but now dark and fearsome in the dimming light cast from above. Everywhere was some sign of battle, a blackened stain of blood, rusting bullet casings and the occasional shattered robot every few dozen yards, but no dead bodies anywhere, which was both a relief and a baffling mystery to the two young heroes. None of the tech looked to be any younger than fifty years old, at the least, which made the complex and powerful computers and sophisticated robots that much odder and more anachronistic. The place seemed to be divided roughly into three levels: the top third, where they had entered, was an administration and recreation area, with no manufacturing of any kind. The second was devoted to the making of the weapons themselves, and the third was devoted to refining the raw materials that were to be sent to the second. Lights were infrequent at best on any of the levels, and the incessant thudding of the third level's machinery gave the two little chance to rest their nerves. At length, after what seemed to be the five hundredth catwalk, they found their way to an observation room looking out over a conveyer belt. Said belt was still moving, somehow, and pushing large piles of rifles, pistols, rocket and grenade launchers into bins that moved roughly upwards to some unknown location. The controls for managing the belts were unprotected and open for use.

"Agreed mon ami" assented Marceau, yawning and beginning the laborious removal of his armor and equipment "It wouldn't do to go looking for Fred without at least a little rest. See you in the morning" he added as he retired to an unoccupied cushioned surface. The Next Day... He had slept well, only slightly troubled by dreams about running from Gallu and suddenly being frozen to the spot as the demon's horns tore him to pieces. Walking along the cobbled streets in the bright morning sun, he asked passers-by if they knew of a certain Frederick Klinefelter, who he had met recently and wished to speak with. He described him as clearly as he could recall, carefully skirting just how they had met. When asked he blithely responded with <"Oh, around the Arch of Triumph"> He had debated with Rene the wisdom of taking the Amulet along, deferring to the old artist's judgement on that score.

"Well, like I said earlier, if we do this by ourselves there's a lot less risk to other people in case something bad is down here, I say we search this place on our own, and tell people about his mess after we've made sure it won't be too dangerous to look through" he shrugged uncomfortably "Up to you buddy, your head's better than mine about stuff like this, and I have no idea if there's any precedent to this" he stepped out of the computer room to survey the dark industrial chamber, which in light of the new information seemed several times more sinister than before.

And I ought to describe what the bank and older place look like. Bank looks precisely like the one detailed in the Core Rules 2E, though about 2/3 the overall size. The older building looks like a residential structure, an old Victorian-styled complete with random tower. The blueprints detail three secret passages in the general area where the vault is in the bank.

GM The teller who appeared to have some authority had gone for the actual manager, and finding them also insensible and lying on the floor between the halves of a wooden desk that had been broken from the force of him being thrown onto it. Assuming command for the time being, the visitors had quickly gotten back to their business after piling the unconscious ninjas up near the door for easy retrieval by law enforcement. Looking up from a deposit she was putting through she answered Spitfire "If you want the blueprints, they're probably stored in the city hall somewhere, I sure don't have them here. Never heard about that, I'll have to ask around about that one" she went back quickly to her work.

Amazing! Post away if you please.

Okay, CAN Voltage find the right blueprints scanned and held as files in the city database? Of course he can. DC20 to find the right thing quickly.

As the syllables echoed their way to his ears, Heraldo made the 'wait, stop' gesture to Glow. Listening intently until the captain and Steve Diamond had finished their latest chat, he dropped his arm and whispered to Glow "The captain and that Diamond guy again. Seems the man in charge of this business, an 'El Diablo', who I'm guessing is this new drug lord guy, has Diamond in his pay. Steve's going to drop off another victim of that doctor man, which I'm guessing means he'll be on his way to the prison room back there. I think we should hurry and find the radio first, what about you?" he glanced back and forth up and down the hall, listening to the myriad of noises echoing about the metal-hulled ship.

The Aztec-monikered being in question slid quietly out of the water and onto the rocky beach under the bridge, his long-nailed human feet and legs propelling him upright as he did so in a flash of light. Nochehuatl, or 'Wave-Eye' as he had taken to calling himself, had only recently arrived in this new human city, and stuck to the areas that were closest to the two rivers that fed silt and debris, not to mention fish, into the ocean. It allowed him a quick escape from the more easily-spooked humans, not to mention it kept him from crossing the path of many of the brightly-clothed ones he often saw doing battle, and who he had little notion of what to truly make of. The gathering of mortals signaled to him that something terrible had happened, and the corpse on the beach told him that it just might be time to get involved more deeply in the affairs of humans. A harsh, rattling voice punctuated by hisses from between his sharp teeth curled through the air, understood by all who heard him. "I was once called by the name Nochehuatl, I am now Wave-Eye. Who has done this, and may I aid in their capture?"

Wave-Eye Could you please drop him to 7ft? I meant to do that earlier but somehow never actually did it. Quick, easy, and done by Supercape!

Marceau had leaned back further against his chair as Rene spoke, listening with care to what the old man said. He was only a little surprised to find that the Amulet was possibly Babylonian in origin, seeing as that ancient people were once Gallu's..hosts? Worshipers? Secret adversaries? At any rate they had been connected with the being enough for it to consider itself Babylonian in some way, the idea of a demonic patriot was both alarming and fearsome to Marceau. That broke the casual air the costumed adventurer had been assuming, he sat forward with an intense stare at the demonic instrument, asking quietly "Should we destroy it? Could we destroy it?" That sparked a flicker of fear across the man's face, his blue eyes burning in his head as he stared at the Amulet on the table. "'Frederick Klinefelter'," Marceau corrected "I presume I could find him by searching for role-playing clubs and other such fantasy-oriented groups, he was a fervent(if unpopular) member, and I don't doubt I could find at least a hint of where he might be or have gone. He seemed quite unsuited to dealing with actual magic, and might be cowering at home for all I know. He did steal an artifact from a public museum, after all, and wouldn't want to be caught so soon after his crime" he pushed the chair a little back to permit his standing "I'll start to search him out tomorrow Rene, unless you have some way of tracking him down with your supernatural skill?"

"Nah, just..a bit claustrophobic, I'll be fine" he shrugged it off and smiled reassuringly "Where'd the radio be? You're asking the wrong guy about that, I have no idea myself. I'm guessing there might be, I dunno, maps maybe? In case people need to know where stuff is on the ship right away? At any rate we'll need to get going, I'll tell them not to go looking for trouble" Turning once again to the currently freed and active captives he told them <"My friend Glow"> he gestured to Kristin <"wishes for me to advise you that feigning passivity might be your best bet if any guards DO show up before we can stop them. We do not wish for any of you to lose your lives or your dignity, and that would be best served by you not attempting violence unless you completely outnumber your enemies and have them surrounded and at close-quarters. And even then, think twice. We shall return shortly, and I will be able to hear from very far off if you come to danger, be right back"> He nodded to Glow "Alright, we ready to go? I'll go a little ahead, I can hear any guys that might be in our path long before they know we're there"
