  1. Endeavor, a Knowledge(Technology) and Base intelligence bonus roll, please.
  2. Endeavor: the sciencemans Will save: 7 Darnit. Volt's Intimidation check with the same message(+2 as well): 32 Uh...well, the Ghost Touchers can't possibly beat that, so I guess they all run. They head for the Hanger & Garage segment. Facsimile: the Ghost Shooters' attack with super-ice guns! Linked Nullify(fire/heat effects and Snare(Affects Insubstantial 2). Attack rolls: 25, 8, 24, 20, 10, 14 So four hits. But I'm ruling you only need to roll once because these folks are Minions, after all. DC16 Reflex save vs. Entanglement/Bound and a DC16 Power check to retain your current form(though wouldn't it be a thing if Alex just shifted to ice...).
  3. Exaccus, Facsimile's an easy one! He turns into things, faces someone who turns other people into other things, or who copies the things other people can do with a twiiiiiist, or who is stuck in one super-form but has gotten real real good at it, and Alex has to switch things up to keep from any one form being overpowered. Or maybe he just fights a literal facsimile of something, like a "younger" copy of the robot hero Galatea.
  4. Will do a GM post in a couple of hours.
  5. That would be Intimidate. +2 for having a very obvious weapon while they are defenceless.
  6. Assuming you go by the service tunnels, getting to Operations is simplicity itself, with Volt Nullifying any electronics on the way. Upon arrival, Endeavor spots several people throughout the room in the same hazmat-like suits as Alex was dealing with. They're frantically working fhe controls, attempting to call for help and to seal in "13505". However, Volt's work en route is severely hampering their efforts. None are armed, and none are paying attention to anything but their work. By contrast, Alex runs right into a squad of the armored folks who had been ""guarding"" Sakurako. Upon spotting him one of them activates some device that prevents napalm!Alex from just burning through the walls and moving on. There are six of them, counted more or less as a body. Their initiative: 24
  7. Volcanic, power check for Move Object is 20, as it does not have Precise. You could also stunt a version of the power with that feat, I guess. Strength check to free the sailor is DC10, the most damage he can take will be a Bruise.
  8. GM Volcanic's other sight led her unerring to where the sailor was, struggling with one leg stuck between two smooth, flat rocks jutting up from the riverbed, worn smooth and angular enough by centuries of water that they held the man almost snugly while the river current prevented him from freeing himself. Leilani's familiar, glowing shape, shrouded in hissing, boiling water, drew his direct and wide-eyed attention. Meanwhile... Jane beamed at Kimo "So! Fellow New God, what's the plan? Are we going to pick up the whole boat and put it on the shore? Maybe make a bridge for them to cross over? Ooh!" She clenched her hands and grinned "What if we split the river so they could just walk right out of here!" Suddenly, the young hydrokinetic looked very worried"Also...do you already have a girlfriend? Are you and Volcanic cosmic consorts, blending the fire and passion of fire and water in a glorious symphony of bodily love?"

    High Steaks

The Speaker, as a very blunt and tactless alien diplomat/primitive locale tourist, could easily show up at a place like High Steaks to get a better feel for how Earth's class divide is going. "The name is Druth. Dol-Druth." *sits down, collapses chair* "Non-adaptive seating. Minus ten points."

    AEGIS NPCs?

Don't forget Regional Director Stewart Bonham, who's taken over the day-to-day operations as Director Powers has had to devote more and more time to dealing with Washington.
  11. 'This is stupid' Shoving the black mask over his head, the Salmon chanced a glance out of the very clean alley to the very meticulously-organized crime going on across the street, his gaudy orange eyes drinking in the unfamiliar sight. The plan was simple enough. Bank heists hardly ever happened, and cars were relatively sparse in ECS, so a bank job and a big chase would do great for drawing attention away from the real plan. Or, more accurately, the real plant. 'That's Shinji all right. He's used to this stuff, he'll keep things on an even keel, but those other guys...' Open crime like this was rare for many reasons and the biggest was that nobody wanted to risk their men actually getting charged with anything that left too much for a few whispers and exchanges to lighten. Like robbing a bank while armed with guns which really needed safeties. The Mafiya men were always itching to shoot something, and this was exactly the sort of situation where you needed less excitable sorts, like the Dragons. The odds they'd just shoot somebody to send a message- 'Guh, not helping, brain' Pressing back against the egg-white wall of the office, the Salmon took a deep breath and pulled at what he'd so recently learned how to do. In a black-green blur, the Salmon raced around the building and swung around the back of the bank, diving into cover behind some dumpsters. Huddling into a crouch and pressing one hand against the bank's wall, the masked man struggled to make sense of what was going on inside, his enhanced vibration sense little better than pressing an ear against a door. 'Can't just run in, gotta wait until they're leaving...' Ishmael had no intention of trying to attack a bunch of tense, edgy guys with guns, even if he knew intellectually he could probably evade them with ease. Even his teenaged bravado quailed at the idea of screwing with Mafiya soldiers.
  12. Yes, getting out is pretty easy with the power out in the Chambers.

    Strange Visitor (OOC)

Yes they does make a difference. Contrary to appearances, the Commutronium is very much active, heat waves flashing intermittently with the passage of electrons. It's not doing anything, but there's the real risk it might any moment. As for Notice, with Analytical Vision it doesn't appear there's anything but blank metal and rock everywhere. But at least Ruby is pretty sure they haven't missed it.
  14. Alex can tell that there are a lot of the station's soldiers coming from the Barracks, and smaller bands from the Garage and Operations. Others are coming from the smaller passageways around the Test Chambers Facsimile just exited. Outside the Chambers all the lights and power are funtioning normally.
  15. These kinds of Cold War facilities don't have any one reactor, but a bunch of fuel cells. However, to supply them there's bound to be a very large amount of natural gas in the surrounding rock. Letting it in and then igniting it would bury the place completely. There's also the less destructive way of setting off an electromagnetic pulse, which attaching some jury-rigged gear to a cell should accomplish.
  16. Sailor, could you make me a Knowledge(Technology) check, please? To figure on the best way to very thoroughly Shut It Down?
  17. Also! Exaccus, could you make a Notice roll, please?
  18. Okay, so Facsimile is at an intersection of passageways, with very obvious signs showing the ways to the places Endeavor already saw earlier, though for sake, Sergeant. Barracks, Test Chambers, Equipment Lab and Operation Hub. As well, there's a sign and line to the Hangers & Garage. Test Chambers leads back to where you just were.
  19. Fixed Knockback, put the spare point into Fortitude, fixed the numbers on the Damage. Added stats of the motorcycle.
  20. Alright, so, angrydurf, would you give me a Notice check, DC15? That will get Kanunu at least the general whereabouts of the people who've sunk. The degrees are: 5, a few 10, most, 15, all After that, collecting all the people is a simple Swimming check, DC10, against both time and the river flow. This is assuming he's just getting them back to the surface, if you want Kimo to do more, roll with the appropriate power's rank as bonus.
  21. GM The billows of silt and mud erupting both from Volcanic's manipulation of the river rock and from the chaos in the water made things every bit as murky as Kanunu feared. It was lucky that the people were mostly wearing white and metallic gold, so they stood out pretty well in the gloom. The Chinese sailors, unfortunately, weren't so easy to locate, though far fewer had sunk. Of course, that was the hard part, and as the big Hawai'ian dove at least a dozen arms reached in terror for him to grasp. The churning rock underneath the Ascension quickly stabilized the vessel, to the cheers and cries of gratitude of both the faithful and the Chinese men. Things were going so well that the sudden explosion of a waterspout hurtling into the sky right next to the boat was as downright unexciting as it was implausible and dangerous. But when it cut out as quickly as it had formed, turning into a graceful pillar sinking gently back into the river, things got a little weirder. On its summit that quickly slid down into view was the young woman and her family, eyes blazing white and lower body a shifting mass of water bound to her descent. Her parents clutched at her, wide-eyed, but their daughter looked downright jubilant. Letting her parents off at the now-righted Ascension, the girl leaped into the river, plunged in, and burst out again with a squeal of delight right next to Volcanic. Grabbing the other woman's hands and laughing, the metahuman spun the both of them around in a whirl of waves, shouting "I did it! I can do it! I'm like-!" Suddenly, the girl recognized the pain of holding the heroine by her charring obsidian skin, and jerked away, thrusting her hands into the river with a grimace that turned into a grin and another cry of joy as her hands flooded with a soft blue light and emerged unburnt. This close, it was obvious to Leilani that the other woman couldn't be older than seventeen. Her various gold(though that was suspect) bobs, bracelets and bangles were also obviously hand-made, and by an enthusiastic and stable, if amateurish, hand. "Er, sorry, hi!" Darting back to the other super, the girl smiled awkwardly, bobbing on the South River's slow current "I'm Jane Brooke, you're Volcanic! I never dreamed I was a New God, too!" Meanwhile, the waterspout and its collapse had flung the submerged people into even greater peril. It was going to be a real challenge getting them to the surface in time, and that was if Kanunu could even find them before they were swept out to sea...

    Strange Visitor (OOC)

Alright, everyone give me a Notice, a Search, a Wisdom roll and anything else you think might be handy for locating the Visitor in a place that's basically a big pile of silver. Morrison, while here Roulette's altered vision is an active problem, causing -5 to Notice rolls and -3 to Attack rolls, meriting him an HP. As well, for questioning Loma so thoroughly everyone gets an HP. So Bliss: +1HP Ruby Voxx: +1 HP Roulette: +2 HP
  25. GM As there was evidently no such need, the Voidrunner was soon soaring through the endless night, its usual crew and the new addition of Loma Slife's menacing bulk hurtling towards the distant rock where the Visitor was thought to be. As soon as they entered the system, it was obvious that this hadn't been one of the Coalition's victories. Derelicts still spun gently, mostly Lor Space Navy vessels, but here and there civilian ships and, at the center of a field of debris, a dead Communion needleship, about a tenth of the size of the ships which had fallen bringing it down. The planet, under the wan blue sun that was isolated, remote GH-250, didn't look much better. Endstone's only real importance was as a finagling chip to keep pressure on a weak stretch of the Grue Unity's border, and the slate-grey world with its small blue seas and vast ice caps had never been hospitable even before it was overtaken by the Communion. Landing was easy enough, the world had been in the process of reformation, its very surface restructuring to get rid of unnecessary troughs and peaks that might have affected the performance of the node. However, in the final death-knell of the great mind of the nano-plague, the shock had sent massive spires hurtling into the air and torn open canyons around the placid sterility of the plains. Coming out of the ship was like walking into a dreamscape of blank rock and towers and rivers of metal. Under the blue sun and clouded sky, the devastation and horror was almost beautiful. Ignoring the sight, Loma shouldered her Grue proto-rifle, saying as she marched into the gloomy expanse "It should be somewhere around here. The sun's too weak to give it the energy it needs for space travel or flight configurations...at least that's the theory. Let's flush this thing out, bag it and go home. Place gives me the creeps..."
