Opening her own bag, the collegiate girl joined in picking up the detritus that invariably found its way into virtually any and all public places. Picking up trash she did not mind and the quickly growing heft of her bag was no problem with her well above human strength. No, the only thing that she seemed to mind as she worked was the fact she had to actually walk to each piece of rubbish instead of teleporting over. Given that while Freedom was full of super beings, she was the only one among the ones she had met who teleported with clouds of multi-colored smoke, she figured doing that here would blow what few shreds of a secret identity she had. Looking over at Giang she replied, "Maybe but I know their type. In all likelihood they're here because they screwed up and annoyed the wrong person. If I didn't know better, I'd guess out of hand kegger." Shrugging she added, "At least they scrammed pretty quickly."

As the stealthy teen slunk along the shadows created by the interplay of shipping containers and the ship's running lights, her vision started to swim slightly and go blurring in her periphery. Her first instinct, to duck into the darkest shadow she could find and catch her breath only served to bring more of the toxin into her system. Shaking her head and trying to soldier on, she finished making her way up to the bridge, dodging several of the well armed crewmen as she did so. Finally she reached what looked like the right door, though given how much her head was swimming she could not be sure, but standing in front of it was a blue-eyed blonde man in a grey and black uniform with red gloves. She instantly recognized him; Superior, Nazi- war criminal and frequent foe of the Centurion. On pure instinct, rather than weigh the situation calmly and rashly she reacted with reckless aggression and called upon her blue and black crackling energy and launched twin beams directly ahead of her shouting, "Come on cyka, give me your best shot!"

Even though she's not on the "cool magic kids" list, if you're still looking Wisp could be of service...

Question, being bound and helpless, shouldn't the DO be unable to attack? Also, since he's currently locked down pretty well, SS has the opportunity for a coup de grace (DC 27 toughness).
-
Jen's going to give one of the fans that just tried to take a swipe at her a kick in the one/off switch... 1d20+11=28, DC 22 toughness save.

1d20+9=11 Yeah, I'd say the girl's been affected by the stuff.

At the well tailored man's nod she replied with one of her own, "Let's." And in a plume of white and crimson smoke the young woman vanished from the Coast Guard boat, reappearing crouched atop a stack of the shipping containers on the leaking ship's deck. Her boots had made a slight clang when she landed but none of the nearby armed goons seemed to hear it, nor did they notice the quickly dispersing cloud of smoke that signaled her arrival. Moving along as stealthily as she could, the teenaged heroine crept towards the she assumed was the ship's bridge, her plan being to disrupt their command structure at the head before working on the foot soldiers on the deck.

I love this, nice work Ari. An idea to make this even more helpful, when you find yourself with oodles of free time, making each entry head a link to the character in question's sheet. Also, two quick nits to pick. Silver Spider's mother was on her way back to their home from Hanover, Jen/Sierra being dug out of rubble her mother hid her under in the downtown area instead of the Fens. And Wisp isn't Freelance, she's currently with Fulcrum's printing house (though given how little thread time they've spent together lately, completely understandable how it could be missed).

Vicky uttered a few choice curses in Russian at the duo's antics, especially McLovin the Second's idea of flirting, before schooling her face, and affecting her best flirty girl voice. "Guys, you see that pile of charred would surrounded by those big stones? Would you two take care of bagging up the ashes over there? For me? Please?" Inwardly the snow-haired girl cringed at the horribly cheap ploy she was using but figured it was for the greater good if it got the pair of frat boys to leave her and the other girls alone for a while. When the pair rushed off to do her bidding she turned back to the others and allowed the light Russian accent back into her words. "Uhg, I think I need a shower. And we haven't even started..."

"I got him," she called as soon as the treacherous Water Singer broke from the room. With that, Silver Spider leaped into action. Focusing inwardly she altered gravity's pull around her body, allowing her to clear the distance to the door in a single powerful jump before landing a webline against the top of the doorway and swinging out to follow. Once she had reacquired her target running away she unleashed a powerful stream of synthetic webbing, catching the Deep One's mole in Atlantis by the ankle and wrapping the traitor in a thick layer of faintly silvery adhesive. Looking down at her stuck captive, she taunted "That'll be enough of that Shrieky. Why don't you stay there and think about what you've done until the nice police force comes to pry you off the street?"

1d20+15=17 (I really need to take skill mastery) for a stealth check to get on the boat unseen.

Silver Spider's arms shot forward to unleash twin streams of synthetic webbing into the undercarriage of the station wagon, just in time for her to notice the cloud of fog come sliding back out of the bank and reform into the man in the parka. She was about to warn him about how tenuous the hold her webbing had at gumming up the large steel pieces of car when she saw him all but freeze the vehicle in a block of solid ice. As he moved back towards the door, she felt his aura of cold raising goose bumps under her armored costume. "Nice work," she said as he passed. Inwardly she sighed, How do I keep ending up involved in 'magical problems'? "First thing's first, getting the civilians out then looking for the animator," the young scientist said, eyeing the pair of hopping parking meters as she backed into the bank behind Frost.

Pulling on her vest, Vicky inwardly sighed and rolled her unusual eyes behind her heavily tinted sunglasses at the reactions of the 'dudebros' she had been assigned to work with. In the interest of keeping the day pleasant, she however said nothing but instead turned towards the other girls and returned Giang's bow. "Привет," she started before shaking her head, "Sorry about that. Hi, I'm Victoria. Please, call me Vicky." The white-haired teen pulled a bottle of sunscreen from her messenger bag and applied a quick splash to her arms before holding the tube out, "Anyone else want some UV protection before we get started?"

Wisp nodded at Tsunami and smiled before saying, "Dah, same here." After introductions with Gloaming had started she eyed his outfit, vaguely reminded of a few steampunk novels she had read. "I have to say, nice suit. Later, remind me to ask who your tailor is," she complimented, her Russian accent mildly thick in her voice. After the commander gave the rundown on the situation, the white-haired teen said, "I can get onto the ship and stay unseen while Tsunami keeps the...," her lip curled into a vaguely disgusted snarl, "Stuff out of water. Once the deck is cleared and secured, would you like me to return and get the boarding party aboard in short order?"

Silver'll try to gum up the swinging bits under the car, 1d20+10=19, if it hits, DC 18 reflex from the vehicle.

1d20+9=22 Silver's gonna tear ass after the Watersinger tearing ass ahead of her. If she can get in range, she's also gonna try and web-ify the jerk (1d20+10=29). Let's pop an HP to add for improved crit: web array for a round. DC 23 reflex save please.

Patrolling around the coastline was more than a little out of the ordinary for Wisp but after a long day cooped up in her office working on new stories for Fulcrum's magazine, she needed a change of pace. The night had started easily enough, stopping a couple drunken frat boys from breaking into Ocean Heights, pulling an amateur boater's truck out of the water when he backed up too far, and the like. When she saw the Coast Guard ship blow past she added it to the list of things to check on. When Ironclad soared overhead a few minutes later, she followed the battlesuit as best she could from the ground. When she hear the sound of gunfire she took a deep breath and muttered, "Show time. And it was such a nice night too." She appeared on the stern of the Perseverance in a cloud of white and red smoke. Holding her hands up she gave a weak smile as several large barrels locked onto her person, "Uh hi. My name's Wisp, I'm here to help..."

Victoria Knight had only made her way out to Lake MacKenzie the one time when a few Claremonters had packed up for a bonfire on the beach during her senior year. When she had seen a flyer looking for volunteers, she had signed up without a second thought. Standing on the shore in a pair of kaki shorts and a white t-shirt with the Archemedia logo on the back, she adjusted her dark lenses glasses and made her way towards the other volunteers.

At the Triton's sudden outburst, Silver Spider felt her back and shoulders stiffen. Doing her best to avoid panicking, the young scientist glanced around for any sign of what Wave-Eye had noticed. Given she had minimal connection to the sea however, she obviously did not pick up the telltale signs as easily as he did. "If we are, I'm going to need to borrow a weapon," she muttered, thinking aloud, not sure how her synthetic webbing would react in a sub-aquatic environment. Note to self, build some specialized gear in case I need to go to this far underwater ever again. Unprepared once is acceptable, a second time is just embarrassing she thought to herself.

Silver Spider has had dealings with OVERTHROW before. Though Wisp would also be viable for this sort of adventure.

Silver Spider swung from a webline off the side one apartment building to land atop the roof of a building across the street from the bank the other heroes were currently gathering around. She was about to jump down and join them when the one in the parka suddenly turned into a vaguely human shaped bank of fog before slipping through a crack in the doors. Recovering from her surprise, she jumped down just as the doors clicked behind the other heroes. Before she could reach for the door herself however, she hear the cracking of concrete and creaking of a car's suspension behind her. Looking up at the menacing vehicle she suppressed a shudder, Oh yeah, this isn't going to induce nightmares about my car attacking me next time I need to do any work.

Silver Spider needs to get her thread on so I'm completely down for this.
