Crimson Tiger glanced around at the three remaining thugs and grinned. "Consider this the notification." She said, darting forward with a vicious right cross, sending one of the three to the floor. Jerking backwards, she brought her right arm back into a brutal elbow to the side of the second man, sending him flying backwards. Flowing from that into a ducked stance, she brought her left knee up directly to the jaw of the last man, sending him to the floor. With that done, she brought her hands to the ready position and balanced herself on the ball of her foot...it was time.

Voltage's mind scanned the area around him for the wireless network of the bank, or any network that might lead to the electronic eye. With a few seconds of thought, he shut down all communication between the eye and the trap, he hoped. He dropped one of the swords on the ground and guided it towards the door, prodding around it, making absolutely sure the trap was disabled. He didn't want anyone to get hurt, after all.

Mali blinked, then blinked again. It was odd seeing a guy, just hanging upside down from a tree. She shook her head and smiled. "Hi! And thanks! Did you do this on purpose? Do you need help getting down?" She looked over at John quizzically. On the one hand, he seemed to think this was a regular thing, but his tone suggested disappointment or exasperation. Maybe he did this occasionally, albeit accidentally. Ah, well, she'd at least offer to help him down. She couldn't very well let him hang up there as she went on her tour. What kind of superhero would that make her? "My name is Mali, by the way..."

"Oh, I already ate earlier this morning, not hungry yet." To be truthful, her nerves weren't calm enough for her to sit down and eat. She was too nervous about the new school to eat just yet. Besides, she wanted to see more of the school. There was no reason to go eat just yet. "Besides, I want to see more of the school before I do anything else. What next?"

GM March 5th, 2012 It was a lovely afternoon, a bit chilly, perhaps, but that was to be expected on the east coast. Either way, people hustled about the streets, going to and fro on their daily business. The street was choked with early afternoon traffic, and the banks were only two hours from being shut down for the day. All in all, it was an ordinary day. None of the people on the streets saw the woman jump to the top of the bank, and no one saw the strange cloud of swirling dust drift around lazily about in the wind. At least, not until it was too late. The young woman behind the counter could hardly believe her day. She'd dealt with rude customers, a sick child, and now, a supervillain in her bank! Within seconds, the alarm was hit, the villain was cursing, and attention had been drawn to the bank at the wrong time, much to the two would-be-robbers dismay.

Voltage surveyed the area warily, curious as to the purpose of it all. He stepped into the room. "Sorry, I was making sure everything was in order back there." He gazed down the tunnel. "I will see about triggering any traps down there." He said, exiting the room for a moment. He returned carrying several discarded swords, carried by the ninjas. He concentrated on one and lifted it with his new magnetic powers. He twisted it this way and that, poking around in the door area, searching for a possible trap. "This should prevent anyone from risking life and limb." he said as the sword prodded the area.

"Oh, we can take care of that later." She said, admiring the gym as she walked, while keeping track of John's military time. She was used to needing a spotter, so she was sure to do that. She mentally worked through her home routine and tried to match it up with what the school had, adjusting it mentally to ensure her routine didn't have to end. Still, it was a big school, people seemed like they might be nice. She felt good about going to school there.

With a shot, Crimson TIger was off. She jumped from the turnbuckle and rushed towards the goons. With a scream, she brought her right knee up and struck directly in the speaker's abdomen, causing searing pain to fill his body. Twisting around, she delivered a fierce elbow to the face of a second thug, sending him sprawling. Ducking down briefly, she backed into a fierce kick to a third man's midsection, causing him to tumble over. With one fluid motion, she brought her foot forward into the jaw of a fourth, before twisting completely around and kicking another man square in the temple, causing him to tumble to the floor. With the first five foes dealt with, Tiger looked around her, eyes gleaming with a fierce love of battle. She practically challenged them. She brought her knee and hands up, entering her Muay Thai stance and ready to go.

She's going to charge up and drop as many of them in one turn that she can at an attack of 19, with a DC of 20

At his notes regarding her build, she blushed slightly, but let it slide. He didn't mean anything by it, obviously. He was merely making an observation. Still, she unconsciously crossed her arms. "Oh, well, I was raised to always be polite to people, and, well, I don't have anything to hide." "The training area would be pretty cool to see. I'll probably spend a while in there." she said with a nod.
-
"Ow, I hope you'll be okay soon, that looks like it hurts." Suddenly, she realized something and she slapped her forehead at her own rudeness, "Gosh, I'm sorry! My name is Mali." She said. She had stupidly not noticed his subtle request for her name. Ah, well, she hoped he wasn't upset about it. "I...don't really have any specific place I want to go." She said with a shrug. "I'll leave that up to you. I'm just looking around."
-
She instantly noted that his speech was oddly stilted and off. She waved it off. All sorts of people could be here, why would she judge someone just because they talked odd. Besides, he looked friendly enough. "It would be great if you could show me around." She said, smiling politely. "I'm not sure where anything is, and, well, I wouldn't want to get lost." "But...if you'd rather not, I understand. I don't want to be a burden." She looked around a bit, letting her eyes soak in the details of the surrounding area.
-
Instantly, Mali stopped and looked at the young man. He looked like a friendly sort, so she smiled politely and shook his hand. "Yeah, just getting used to the place, you know? I've never been anywhere like this. I take it you've been here a little while?" She asked. Already she was meeting new people! She wondered who this guy was, what he could do, and what he was doing in this school. That would all wait, however. Would be a bad idea to be so rude as to outright ask. Might as well just be friendly.

March 5, 2012, 1:00 PM Mali sighed and sat down on the bed. Her dad had insisted on sending her to live at the school. She could, of course, visit whenever she wanted, home really wasn't that far away. However, that being said, she was both excited and very, very nervous. School had seldom been kind to her, and now she was in a place full of people with super powers! Ah, well, she thought, at least she didn't have to deal with all of those rich, snobby girls that liked to say things behind her back. She stretched and stood up. She decided, then and there, that she might as well take a tour of the facilities. She looked at herself in the mirror and nodded. She wore a loose-fitting black t-shirt and a pair of boot cut jeans. She preferred them loose, so that her mobility would not be hindered. She reached for her red jacket, a defense against the cold, and opened the door to her room. Might as well make herself busy and see what the place was all about. She wanted to see the sights, and maybe meet someone new.

Got a 26 on Initiative!

Mali bit her tongue. Best to teach these guys with violence, not words. She did not want to let them get her riled up. She needed to be calm, not angry. She didn't want to hurt them. Not that it was easy, of course. She still felt the humiliating sting of their rude outbursts. She had no intention of accidentally going too far just because these, these idiots couldn't keep their mouths shut. "I am Crimson Tiger." She said, voice flat. She kept her cool, could not let these guys know they riled her. It was time to show them what she could really do.

Rolled a 30 on a stealth check to sneak into the bathroom, change costumes, and come back Also, spent a HP for quick change.

No force on Earth could stop Mali from grinning wickedly. Finally, some people she could really go all out against. The moment the guy started talking, she slid out of the ring and into the crowd, grabbing her bag as she ran towards the nearest bathroom. Jumping into the stall, she changed as quickly as she could before shoving her clothes in her bag and throwing it out of the way, knowing it was secure where she placed it. With that done, she ducked out of the bathroom and ran as fast as she could out of the room, bolting towards the thugs. She ran to the ring, slid in under the bottom rope, sneaked through the ring, and climbed up one of the corner turnbuckles. She folded her arms and stood there, glaring at the men. "Actually, no." She said. She did not shout, nor scream. She just spoke loudly enough for the men to hear her. "You're going to apologize to these fine people for interrupting their work out, and be on your way." She raised her chin and glared down at them. "You'll do so either voluntarily, or involuntarily. I don't care which you choose."
-
Mali blushed, oh, this wasn't good. Nobody was supposed to see any of that. Ugh, she really, really hoped she'd have stayed unknown. Oh well, might as well make the best of the situation. "I think we did." She smiled and turned to the unexpected audience, and bowed respectfully. She had apparently entertained them, despite what she wanted to do. Still, she set out do find out more about other people fighting, and she did that. She patted herself on the back mentally for a job well done, and smiled nervously.
-
Mali groaned as she felt the hands on her shoulders. Man, that guy was quick. She sighed. "You're good, really good. Maybe one of the best I've ever fought." She said, smiling. She turned around and bowed in respect. "I think I'm good for now. I can tell, you're really good at this. I wanted to see other styles, and I did. I think I'm gonna relax and grab a bite and a drink. Care to come with?" She did not notice how much faster he was than he should have been, she did not realize it. She was too busy making sure she stuck the landing right.
-
Mali cursed inwardly and backed up for a moment, keeping her hands high. She was glad those gymnastics classes she took as a kid still came in handy now and then. She needed to keep flexible with this guy. Bending down for only a moment, she backflipped into the air, letting her momentum carry her to the nearby ropes. With a quick motion, she grabbed the ropes and coiled her body, springing upwards and, hopefully, over his head. As she flew overhead, she reached down, hoping to touch him on his shoulder.
-
Mali jerked back slightly, flowing with the strike, keeping just out of reach of it. Flowing with that motion, she twisted around it, letting her natural motion and flexibility flow with her. She extended her right arm, and kept her left arm ready to block. She planned on moving her hand back at the slightest motion, not allowing herself to commit fully to the punch.
-
Mali, not recognizing the style, still knew what was going on. He was trying something longer ranged, trying to keep her out. She began to shuffle her feet, back and forth, moving her body. Keeping her eyes focused on him, she moved in rhythm, hoping to cover a possible approach. She watched his tensed muscles, waiting for any possible reaction. She wanted to see how quick his reflexes were, whether he'd act on a moment's attack or not.
