  1. Going to use stealth to sneak up on these guys. That's a 23 for Skill Mastery
  2. Adam struggled to sleep. His early life of isolation meant that he had few opportunities to sleep anywhere but his own bed. He got used to sleeping at Claremont, but here? Here he was wide awake. He was fine, though. His enhanced physiology meant that the occasional sleepless night didn't hurt him much at all. "What thump?" He said, unable to hear what Pan was talking about.
  3. "Food's on it's way, Lawrence. Just letting you know. So what do you wanna do? Wanna play a game, or just go back to your room and do what you were doing? Totally up to you." He kinda wished that he would go back to his room so things wouldn't be awkward between he and Lulu. He stretched out and leaned back.
  4. "You're going to lose." Adam said, staring down at Übermensch. "Not just here, not just you, you lose the whole war." Then, he charged. He flew forward towards Übermensch and slammed his fist into the side of his head as hard as he could. He didn't hold back, he knew that he needed to stop this monster. His hit was enough to rock Übermensch, and he figured that would give them time. "We need to get outta here!"
  5. Adam is going to move in and full-on power attack; 21 DC35 TOU IF he's not badly affected by that, gonna use Extra Effort so Adam is gonna go for another one. If the first one knocks him out, disregard the second shot. 11 Another full power attack, another DC35 TOU save.
  6. To her credit, Mali was not upset. She blinked a few times, and then broke down laughing. It was a long, hysterical laugh. "Oh, god, I'm sorry." She said when she finally stopped laughing. "I promise I'm not upset, and I'm not laughing at you. Seriously, you're good! I'm just amused at how, well, normal the situation was with you." She gave him a warm, kind smile. "Honestly, when I was in high school I got caught lying about my age as a superhero. That's how -I- ended up at Claremont."
  7. Mali had just finished a workout, then took her post workout shower. Then she remembered that they had guests and threw her bathing suit on before heading to the pool. She wore a lot of black, she admitted, but it suited her complexion. She walked into the pool area in a modest but flattering black two piece. She hadn't bothered to spike her hair because she was just about to get in the pool, and she was not about to bother with all that. She could have worn something else, but this was where she lived and she was a lot more comfortable in casual wear, or a bikini, than she was in anything formal. Her least favorite part of being a grown up. She was carrying a bottle of water. "Hey everyone. To those I know, hi. To those I don't, my name is Mali."
  8. Adam just chuckled. "Excellent use of your powers, Lulu. I'm impressed." He sat down, gingerly, and stretched out. "I know you said you have issues with him, but I am interested in meeting our young charge. What do you want to do, watch a movie, maybe?" He glanced around the room. "Babysitting is a lot easier with older kids, I bet."
  9. "Time to go!" Adam said to Felix. Adam took off as fast as he could. This foe was beyond them. He really didn't feel like dying in 1940s France. They had saved people, and now it was time to go. This had been a very strange experience, and now he intended to go home. Or, at least back to his era. After that he had an interesting story for Lulu. That was his happy thought, Lulu.
  10. With the fragile ones all taking off, Adam is gonna go. Felix is faster
  11. Mali raised her hands in a slightly defensive pose. "I've met all sorts of people in my time. Let's just say I'm out of uniform right now?" She said, hinting at her heroic activities. "Just because someone is a member of a group that's potentially bad doesn't necessarily mean they themselves are bad. I've fought alongside ninjas, ghosts, thieves, other kinds of criminals, grue, all sorts of people. I'm not saying we shouldn't be suspicious, we totally should, but let's try to be fair, here." "Oh, and that guy isn't my date. God, I haven't had a date since high school...anyway, I met him here and I have no idea what his deal is."
  12. "Sure, thanks." He said. "I'll leave him alone for now, then." He shook his head. "I never had any babysitters as a kid. My mom and dad sort of rotated taking care of me if one of them needed to go somewhere. Luckily, they got a grant for studying me so they didn't have to worry about it too much." He shrugged. "I've seen enough movies to know what teenagers usually do when babysitting." He blinked and realized what he said. "But I don't want to raid their fridge or anything. No parties, nothing like that. Just hang out, you know?"
  13. "Nah." Mali said with a shrug. "Nobody's messed with me. The guy at my table seems a little off, but the guy who wasn't in the picture hasn't even approached me. Sure, he's weird, but this is Freedom City. Weird is kind of what we do. I really appreciate your concern, though, honestly. It warms my heart to see people do the right thing." She glanced towards the door and chuckled. "Honestly, though? I have no idea what's up with him and I've been keeping an eye on him, anyway."
  14. "I get what you mean!" Adam said, realizing he could fly. "He just made it so we can all fly, so MOVE!" He said. He hoped that Übermensch wouldn't catch up to them before they could escape. He knew Pan's powers fairly well, and guessed that that Übermensch was currently unable to see. That suited Adam just fine. They'd fought a bunch of nazis, but anyone that could rock Felix with a punch was someone none of them wanted to tangle with. He was a strong, brave young man, but this guy was on a different level and they had done a lot of good. He lingered for a moment, making sure his teammates and Macedon had a chance to start taking off before leaving himself.
  15. Adam is just gonna run, well, fly. Two move actions towards the direction they came in from, hoping to find the exit back to their time.
  16. Adam arrived just in time to see everyone standing around. The ubersoldaten were all out. He sighed as he looked around. "I, I honestly don't know." He said, eyes cast down. His head hung low. "We have done more than would have been done if we had not arrived. We went up against freaking nazis. Nazi supervillains! We're alive, we saved people, we helped. Don't think of the people that died. Think of the people that would have died if we weren't here. There are tanks that won't kill another Allied soldier, and I imagine a couple of the ubersoldaten are out of commission for a few days, at least. That's good, right? We helped, right? Even if we didn't help everyone?" His voice wavered between confidence and the realization of what they had just gone through. He was tired, he wanted to find Lulu and just...melt with her, to relax with her, to let go of this experience and return home.
  17. Mali saw what they saw, and was more than a little suspicious. However, she'd ran into her own share of weirdos and oddballs in her time as a hero, and many of them were perfectly fine people. Still, she wanted to make sure things were on the up and up and looked subtly at Ashley and Farua. She signaled as if she said 'do you see that?'
  18. Adam heard his friend and closed distance with Madame Blitz. When he got there, he slammed his fist into the side of her head. Yet, despite the force of his blow, she was still on her feet. "You've got nothing left in you, nazi." Adam growled with a surprising amount of venom. "You are defeated, lay down." "Pan, you should head to the church. I'm sure they could use your particular brand of help." He said, eyeing his new foe. Hopefully, she wouldn't take much more to put down. She looked barely conscious as it was.
  19. Good idea
  20. "No problem!" Mali said with a broad smile. "Glad someone is having fun tonight." She took the phone from Ashley's hands. She was familiar enough with the model to figure out what to do, and took a couple of steps back. She could tell that the two of them were really enjoying themselves, and focused more on their happiness and less on her orneriness. "Smile!" She said, taking the picture before handing the phone back. "Looks like you two are having a great time."
  21. Mali shrugged. "I'm currently starting up my own physical therapy business. It's been a rough time. Not that I can't handle it, but there are permits and all sorts of other stuff to worry about. It's been a hassle." She leaned forward. "IT, huh? I don't consider myself a fool, but I never had much of a head for stuff like that. Gimme something to do with my hands and I'm a bit better. I went into sports medicine because I'm a fitness nut." She leaned back in a relaxed posture. "Though I've heard IT has it's own stress."
  22. Attacking Madam Blitz; 7 Ouch, reroll 13 better
  23. Mali has +12 sense motive and it's with skill mastery, so assume a DC of 22 for any lie he might try to spin. She's slightly suspicious because of his odd manner of speaking, but she has no reason to analyze him necessarily.
  24. Mali placed her jacket on the chair and sat down across from Davyd. She imagined he may have never met anyone like her before. She figured he may not be old enough to drink, but it wasn't her job to judge, and she'd make sure he'd be okay. Even if it meant getting him back to, well, wherever he was from. She didn't bring her bike, it was too cold. She'd make sure he was okay. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Attorney. I'm here to take a break and enjoy my evening. What about you? My name is Mali. It's Thai."
