28 for intimidate on the Ringmistress.

24 On a feint attack with Acrobatics. 24 For the hit, which is kind of insane and probably would have worked. I used Accurate Attack for 1. It's a DC23 toughness save because he's being more careful to be more likely to hit. I'm ASSUMING that hit, because if it didn't, he's entirely in over his head here.

Ryan had gotten distracted. He was always getting distracted. He was seeing live music. He loved live music. Even if it wasn't entirely his preferred genre, he still loved music of all kinds. "Hey guys, took me a minute." He flashed a smile. "You must be Sam. Michael's mentioned you. Nice to meet you." He settled into the seat and tried to relax. He was full of nervous energy. Bernadette was playing. She was a good musician. "This should be a hell of a show." That's when he noticed the other kids. "Hey everyone, name's Ryan. Sorry for being rude."

Sever turned to Vueriz. "Marty McFly is the main character of an old 80s movie where the character goes back in time from 1985 to 1955 where he ends up meeting his mom and his dad. His mom has a crush on him and..." he chuckled. "The, um, orphanage had a lot of old movies. I've seen more than my fair share...the Back to the Future trilogy is pretty good, though." He turned to the rest of the conversation. "Yeah, um, I've got no idea where they even are...or when."

"Um, Sever." Ryan said. He was visibly blushing in front of the beautiful young woman that he knew was Lawrence's mother. He coughed. He shifted awkwardly, and took a deep breath. "H-happy to help. Um, it's, it's what heroes do, right? Help people?" He glanced over at Baz, and had to resist the urge to roll his eyes at his new friend. Baz was a good guy, but he did not have great impulse control. Then Consuelo went ahead and just made it explicit. "Yeah, um, time travelers. No idea how we got here, no idea why we're here. We had friends, but, they're not here with us. Some of us are missing."

Sever stood and watched the crowd. He made sure that the people were running away, and no more children got separated from their parents. He was very tense, but he didn't trust his ability to confront this villain. Yes, it was almost sixteen years ago, but that was still Velocity, and if she wasn't easily handling this, what chance did he stand? His sword might not do any good, and he was still very new to using it. So, instead, he stood there and watched, and waited, hoping that the mummy situation would get resolved soon.

John was on top of her in seconds. "I found your chemicals. It's making people sick. I don't think you want to hurt people, do you?" He was growling in a low voice. He needed to talk to this woman. He loomed over her, staring down at her. If she moved in the wrong way, he could snatch her up and run away, talking to her away from the circus. He was cautious by default, and cursed his luck that this woman woke up so suddenly.

Sever is going to watch out for people and also try to get them to get away from the mummy. He's going to look out for anyone stray and see if he can help them get away faster.

"I'm a musician." Ryan said. "I play guitar, I listen to a lot of music. I play the occasional video game. I don't have a lot of hobbies outside of music, really." He took a sip of his soda and shrugged. "I'm not exactly an exciting guy, unless you like guitar." He looked introspective for a moment, glancing down at his hands for a second. "I grew up in an orphanage. For a while, before I was born, there was this guy everybody called Uncle Charlie. He'd come around and play music for the kids. Well, I expressed an interest, so, uh, he taught me. He passed away a couple of years ago. He left me one of his guitars, I've never played it." "So, that's my deal."

Ryan shrugged as he sat down his coke. "Freedom is such a crazy city. I mean I've lived here my whole life, but I'm amazed by some of it. Kami, those are gods, right? Like gods of places and stuff? Sorry, not super familiar with it, I just heard about it." He was wearing an old band t-shirt and his usual jeans. He had recently dyed a purple streak in his hair, just for fun. He always had a color of some kind in his hair. Neko was interesting. She was nice enough, but he hadn't gotten a chance to get to know her, yet. He hadn't really gotten to know anyone, really. He had always had trouble making friends. He didn't want to admit, and still hadn't said it, but he'd seen her show online before. He wouldn't consider himself a fan, but he liked it enough. He would end up watching this episode at some point. He sure was glad the school was giving him a stipend. He rarely ever had money before. He leaned back a bit and looked up.

John pulled a lockpick out of his pocket and worked at it for a second. It took less than a minute for him to simply unlock it and open it. After that, he opened the door as quietly as he could, and snuck inside to have a 'conversation' with the ringmaster. He glared at the sleeping man, and stalked towards him as quietly as he could.

22 to open the lock That won't take long\ 24 to sneak into the trailer

Sever considered his options. He could put his mask on, but he was a two week old infant at this point in history. There wasn't any point in it. He watched the big mummy move, and watched carefully. There, a little girl. He spotted her running after her parents, who had just turned around to notice that she wasn't there with them. He could easily see where she belonged. The mummy was right next to her, too. His feet were moving before he realized it. The sword had given him several gifts. One of which was a truly breakneck running speed. He ran forward and snatched the little girl up off the ground. He barely gave the mummy a glance as he took off running for her parents. "You're okay." he whispered to her as he ran through the crowd. He managed to get to her parents. He dropped her off safely, and then took off running towards his friends again, not wanting to interfere too much. As he got there, he realized he may have just screwed up the timeline. He might have rescued a little girl who was supposed to die here. "Oh...#@%$" He muttered.

Sever is gonna rescue a kid, as per Discord, and carry her back to her parents.
-
9 NOPE, not gonna hold onto that one. Burning an HP to reroll; 23 MUCH better.

Sever decided that the fire woman was his first target. He sliced a hole in reality and appeared next to her. He hoped to get the drop on her, but she clearly spotted him. He swung his sword, and immediately cursed. He was getting better, but he was way off. He was so focused on making sure that the edge was aligned that he messed up aiming at his target, causing it to go completely wide. Now he was right next to a person who used fire, and was open for retaliation. Just perfect.
-
Sever's going to do something insane, and teleport over to the fire woman to attack her. Teleport move action, then attack; 13 Does not hit I assume,

I'd love to throw Sever into this. He needs threads -
John stalked over to the trailer, trying to stay quiet. He looked at the door and inspected it for a lock. He would have a conversation with the ringmaster. A 'conversation as it were.
-
John tapped the button to end the call. He swore. Then he swore again. He found the barrels, he assumed they were full of illegal substances. The weird gorilla formula. He would have to find the people responsible for this, maybe shake them down for information on who they got the chemical from. So he snuck off looking for a boss's trailer or office, hoping to have a chat with them.
-
Civics of 14 Gonna let that one stand. Maybe they'll listen to it, maybe they won't.
-
...can he call a local EPA office? The Environmental Protection Agency. He might not know the number but he can find it. I think he might be able to trust them to figure things out. In the mean time, he's going to keep snooping around to see if he can find something else concrete that he can use.
