  1. Henry nodded. "I don't want to see what she'd do after waking up, that's for sure." He said. "Could someone call someone to help with her? I don't have a phone on me." He'd left his phone in his clothes, and wanted to avoid drawing attention to them. He glanced around, watching the circumstances. He also didn't want to leave with Ember, worrying that another fight might break out. He looked over at Fast-Forward, a man he had never met nor heard of before, despite him being on television. He did, however, seem more reasonable than the Psions, and picked up that he was an in-law. "The Psions interrupted the Harlem Globetrotters game, held the audience hostage, and demanded the Atoms show up to fight. I managed to get out and up to the roof, and we went in to take care of the situation. Then Jack Wolf ran over and shot him, and everything turned to chaos. I think Jack Wolf was under someone's control or something, because he seemed really off to me. Anyways, thanks to the efforts of the girl over there, things didn't get as bad as they might have." he sighed. "I'm just one of the folks who saw what happened and tried to help." He said. "I don't know where you folks want to go from here, that's none of my business. I haven't headed off because I want to make I'm here in case anybody needs help." He left out 'in case someone decides to start another fight' but the implication was probably understood. Not that he could stop a full on super powered battle, but he had no intention of letting their blood feud endanger lives.
  2. Apparently, kicking a man through a brick wall was not enough of a deterrent. Mali turned around to one of the other fighters, raising her foot and slamming it down on top of his head, knocking him to the ground with a loud THUD. Then, she dashed over and elbowed another one of the fighters in the abdomen. She knew, from personal experience, that a gut shot like that was usually enough to knock the wind out of people, even knock them out. Either way, the man's mind was concentrated far more on the pain than her, and she was one step closer to finishing the fight.
  3. Breaking walls is fun, but Mali doesn't want the place crashing down around her ears. Got an 18 to hit Fighter 6
  4. Fighter 8, fully shifted Power attack, 27
  5. Mali's shoulders slumped slightly, and she sighed. "Wow, I have to give her credit. Legion can really handle herself in a fight." she stretched slightly. "Gonna be stiff and sore tomorrow, that's for sure." Despite her frustrations, she had to admire the criminal's skills. Good fighting instincts, good weapon handling. Used her powers creatively to enhance her skills instead of relying on them. Mali never said it, but she simply had more respect for people who worked with their powers and gifts instead of relying on them as is.
  6. http://orokos.com/roll/164682 He's slowed, which means either attakc or move, not both, and -1 to attacks, defense and reflex saves. He'll be able to save again each round at a +1 bonus over his previous round until he shakes it off
  7. GM At the sight of Solvrytter standing in the room, spear pointed menacingly, the criminals laughed. "Look at this joker." One of them said. "One of those hero types, prolly. Shall we take 'im down, boss man?" He said. Their leader stood about a head taller than the rest of them, wearing a nondescript black shirt and pants, clearly intending to blend with the shadows. He nodded. "Take this idiot down, boys. Whoever gets the KO shot gets an extra bonus."
  8. COMMMMBAT! Alright, initiative! Solvrytter got a 24 Bad guy boss got a 15 Six thugs; 6, 18, 21, 20, 8, 19 So; 1: Polarity: 2 HP 2: Solvrytter 3 HP 3: Thug 3 4: Thug 4 5: Thug 2 6: Thug 6 7: Boss 8. Thug 5 9: Thug 1
  9. Seven foes. He'd taken more down than that on the battlefields of Markland, but those foes didn't have any special powers. He didn't know what to expect, so he simply walked in, he lowered Forsynstang's tip to just above the floor, to emphasize his readiness for battle. "Parasites." He said in a bold voice that cut the still of the air. "Bandits, outlaws." He glared at them under his helm. "You wish to take that money." He pointed Forsynstang at the group of men. "Fight me first. Defeat me, for if you cannot, you will face justice."
  10. Seven distinct heat signatures are seen. Apparently two of the people weren't saying anything or were too quiet for her hearing device. Due to the fact that it's winter and there's no power, the signatures are quite distinct.
  11. Gunnar circled carefully around the van. He was terrible at stealth, but he could keep out of sight at least. He spotted, then, the back door, hanging open. He was somewhat familiar with alarms, and noted that a bank would certainly be protected against simply opening the door. He suspected powers or technology of some sort, magical or otherwise. He waited and watched, making sure to keep out of sight the best he could. The vault door was also hanging wide open, and several men were working under cover of darkness to empty huge piles of money into bags. He ducked back out of sight. As soon as he was certain they could not see him, he reached into the magical pocket of his armor and fetched a runed distaff. He closed his eyes, using the distaff to channel his magic. His spirit reached forth from him, and found Juno, hiding in an office. "I am using a spell to communicate with you and talking into your mind. I am sorry for the intrusion. They're in the vault, they've opened it somehow. I don't know how many there are. If you have any information to relay about them, let me know soon, because otherwise I intend to end the spell and move in."
  12. GM Juno appeared inside a small corner office, near a desk. She heard the hushed whisper of voices, and one of them mentioned how they'd managed to cut the power off to the whole bank. That was probably why the alarms and cameras weren't a concern. There were at least five distinct voices, but the number of people present was unknown and indeterminate from her position.
  13. He didn't say a word about catching anyone naked. He really didn't think there was anything he could say that wouldn't exacerbate their embarassment. So, he wisely didn't say a word on that matter. Especially not about how he wouldn't mind accidentally catching one of the two in such a state. "If i wouldn't bother you." Gunnar said. "I got a tour of the facilities, but hearing things out of the mouth of a student would offer another viewpoint. Perhaps you could tell us a bit about what the typical student does when they're not in class."
  14. "Odds are, they didn't use the front door." He said. "A back entrance, or maybe they made one." He said. "If you can teleport inside, I'll look for how they got in. I would recommend staying hidden from them until you hear that I've engaged them. That way we can maximize the potential of our maneuver." He waited for confirmation from her before he started.
  15. Henry just stood there, arms crossed. The tension was still high, and he was disappointed in how things went down. He wasn't sure if he should intervene and prevent Kit from leaving with Argent. So instead he shook his head. "I think, folks, that some understanding needs to be had here. Things could have gone very badly. I feel bad for your loss." He said, honestly. He wasn't sad for the old man, but the family that depended on him. "People nearly died. Hundreds of people almost got killed because of a rivalry. Do you even wanna fight this anymore? Do you want to pass this war down to generations that don't even really get why they're doing it? Take it from a man who's a lot older than he looks. If you lose sight of why you're fighting, you risk losing yourself."
  16. Henry is of no use with this at 18 for sense motive
  17. Henry kept Ember close before laying her down on the roof. He was grateful she was taken down without risking any fatalities. She could have done some serious damage and turned the whole thing into a bloodbath. He stood, making sure his stance wasn't aggressive. He wanted them to see him for what he was, a bystander pulled into a fight that wasn't his. He didn't say anything, just observed. He was still tense, hoping that nobody would start swinging again, but ready in case they did. He knew that the situation was far from over. Things were delicate and anything could spark another fight.
  18. For being a crazy fast space paragon, Henry is slooooow got a 10
  19. "Good idea." He said. "You teleport in from one side, I come in from the other. By the time they realize you're there, I could already have started hitting them." He thought on that. "Yes, two pronged attack. Does that sound like a plan to you?" He looked the bank over and studied it, as if he were planning a siege. In a way, he was. He knew she was frightened of the prospect of battle, so he had no intention of forcing her to face it alone.
  20. "That is useful to know." He said, stepping forward. "There's no way of knowing how many of them there are." Suddenly, Silverstar shimmered in place and vanished. He reached somewhere, and produced a spear. It was six feet long, with a steel head. The staff was wooden and scored with charred symbols. Runes, if Juno knew anything about them. He rested the spear over his shoulder. "I say we go in and say hello what do you think?"
  21. It would, but there's nothing there
  22. It's still somewhat warm, meaning that it's been off for less than about ten minutes or so
  23. "Well, I am probably going to go investigate." He said. "If you have the means to determine how they entered, where they may be, that would be invaluable." He said. He wanted to assess what she could and could not do, so he avoided using his magic. Besides, in the cold, he doubted he could concentrate sufficiently to get good results. Attractive young woman in skintight garb notwithstanding. "Once we've assessed the situation, I say we go in and interrupt their plans." His mood shifted subtly, as if the anticipation of combat made him feel more assured of his role and purpose.
  24. When he felt her cling tighter, it was difficult not to enjoy it. So he did. He saw nothing suspicious, but on the back of Silverstar, he felt like he could concentrate on something other than the circumstance that brought him to Earth Prime. After a short time, however, he spotted something suspicious. A black van, parked beside a bank. It wasn't an armored car, either. It was just a large, black van. Obviously, they weren't there on bank business. Not at eleven o'clock at night.
  25. "He betrayed his oath to his king. He had an affair with his queen and thus destroyed Camelot from within." His voice was slightly cold, as if the notion offended him personally. Silverstar purred to life and he pushed her forward. He sensed that she was nervous about the ride, so he kept it smooth and even. Gave her no reason to be upset. The feeling of her arms touching him was all but alien, but he had carried other passengers on horseback before. None in so tight of clothing as she wore, though. He said little as he drove through the frozen city, keeping eyes and ears out for danger.
