Mali watched the fleeing Admiral with a sigh. Well, at least she'd managed to save lives. The bad guy got away, but there were more survivors than there would have been. She watched her friends, knowing that Blod was safe, and that Tsunami would rescue her. A good reaffirmation of what she did and why she did it. She saved lives. She helped make sure that the people on land would not have to endure what would have been a total disaster. She watched over the side, making sure her friends got to safety. She then realized...she'd need a way back to land.

"Lady Brazil is not dead!" Graft said, shouting as loud as he could. "She's having a seizure, but she's okay! She will be fine! I have seen these before! I will make sure she lives!" He knew they could not understand him well, but he hoped that they trusted him enough to understand that she lived, even though the crowd feared otherwise. he kept an eye on her, making sure that she still breathed. He hoped, perhaps, to convince them that her state was not Velocity's fault, but rather that of whoever put the mask on her. That would wait after she came out of the seizure, though.
-
Well, he can't fail the medicine check, so he's gonna know she's having a seizure. Gonna skill mastery that for a 25 on Diplomacy.

Crimson Tiger's first instinct was to jump in, but that would prove fruitless. So, instead, she found five life preservers laying around. Ringed floaters designed to help rescue people from the water. She tossed them into the water and grabbed a nearby rope, ready to hurl it in at the first sign of someone needing it.
-
Well, I'm gonna just throw them down there to offer for the swimmers. It's to make sure the two who aren't imbued with water powers don't drown.

28 on the fort save

Well, Crimson Tiger's gonna throw as many life preservers into the water as she can find in the hopes that she will hit near Blod and the Admiral. Do I need to roll an attack roll to hit where they are approximately? How many can she throw?

"Oh it can be. It's strongly flavored, usually. Thai love their seasonings and spices. If you'd like to try it I brought enough. This stuff is pretty hot, but I've had much hotter." She said with a nod. She wondered how old Lucy was, considering what she knew of her. Ah, well, she supposed that immortals were as likely as shapeshifting metal people or ghost girls.

Oh, that was IT. Mali roared in anger and charged. She closed distance on the 'admiral' quickly. She made to swing with her left arm and waited. There! He fell for it. He moved a little out of the way, but her right arm came up quickly, slamming into his midsection. She felt the air leave his lungs completely as he crumpled around her fist. "That's your motivation for murdering hundreds of people? Aren't you killing the same kinds of people they were? Murder is murder, no matter how you try to justify it." She remembered the dying soldiers she'd seen on Erde. She had seen the horrors of war with her own eyes.

5 ....looks like Graft left his brain at home, lol. 23 on the fort save 12 he's not going first, either, lol

Surge for two move actions; using one to close distance, the other for acrobatic bluff 30 on acrobatic bluff, how she handles it after this depends on how the acrobatic bluff works. EDIT: As per chat, the admiral can't match that, so... Power attacking for 5! 21 does that hit? If so, DC27 TOU save for the admiral

Crimson Tiger nodded as she sat the various lunches on the table. Sandwiches for everyone else, Thai for her. She figured that guys like the Mess and Hound probably wouldn't care too much for Thai food. Luckily she knew a great sandwich place. She nodded."Disappointing, too. Boxing is a good foundation for martial arts. Teaches good form. Anyways, with all you said I think it's important that I keep to the shadows tonight. Observe from the rafters, that sort of thing."

With inhuman speed, Graft dashed towards Foreshadow and stood in front of him. He knew the other man, while a skilled fighter, was likely not as resilient as himself. Standing at his full height, Graft folded his arms. "Is this what you want?" He said. "To hurt people? To be manipulated into tearing this city apart? Because this will lead to a riot. The person standing next to you might hurt you and yours. Injuring your friends, your family. Is that what you want? You're being manipulated. Your anger and passions are being inflamed and manipulated. When tomorrow comes, you will not have memories of a carnival, but of pain and suffering. That's not what you want, is it? To blacken this day with regret?"

31 to diplomacy, about the best I can expect to do! Trying to calm the crowd and get them to stop

Mali was confident that these guys would not be hitting on her for the duration of the day. Even if they did, another glance would stop them cold. She began picking up things, working diligently. She didn't want to be here, of course, but she knew this sort of thing looked good on college entrance exams, and she was keen on making sure those looked good. She would not be like those other rich kids, too obviously using their privilege to get ahead when they wouldn't if they were poor.

Solar Sentinel glanced over that the whispering pair and nodded at Cavalier. This, this wasn't likely to be good. "Hmm, I wonder..." He said. "What do you think we ought to do?" He glanced around the room, wondering how many people were 'in on' what was going on. Could it all be a front, or were some of these people taking advantage of the situation to actually help? This whole scenario had seemed strange, and it wasn't getting any more normal.

Crimson Tiger merely nodded. She was glad that things were working smoothly, and decided to make her way back to their agency. Noodles...? She thought to herself. She hoped he didn't mean something like instant ramen. No, that wouldn't do, not at all. "Actually, why don't I go pick up lunch for everyone before I go back to the agency?" She knew she wasn't going to eat instant ramen, and she would feel bad buying for herself and not everyone else. She knew a good Thai place not that far from where they were. She suspected that the other three wouldn't be interested in that, but luckily she knew a good sandwich place not far away from that.

Mali merely raised an eyebrow. After years of being rejected by boys for her musculature and non WASP looks, being hit on like this was certainly a unique experience. Not a wanted one, though. She wondered why boys sometimes ranged from 'eww, get away from me' and whatever this was. Not that all guys were like that, of course. She knew several attractive, intelligent, non-jerk guys in Claremont. But none of those guys were here at the lake. "Don't." She said, her eyes flashing and her voice cold. She really didn't want to do things like that, but it was better than hospitalizing them, which she thought might happen if she had to put up with them for too long.

Graft kept silent during her impassioned speech. He even kept silent during the other two's responses. He had nothing to say for a few moments, and gathered his thoughts. "The mask I wear protects me and those I love from the evil that would do us harm." he said. "I don't fight crime for the purpose of justice, I do it for the purpose of protecting people, of saving lives. I answer to no authority directly, though I respect the laws of my country as a means to protect the populace. I don't care if this event goes off without a hitch or comes crashing down around our ears. If no blood is spilled and no lives are lost, it would be a success to me." "Ideals are all well and good, but sometimes, people lose sight of them. Taking lives to protect lives is anathema to freedom, for there is no greater loss of freedom, then the loss of life.
-
While Graft certainly could not match Velocity's speed, he did not lack in that area. The suit shifted it's mass again, enabling him to pick up speed. To those who stood by, only a green blur was truly visible. He used his enhanced eyesight to ensure that he hit nothing, and hopped over anything in his way. It would only take a few moments to reach her, from anywhere in the city. He anticipated that Velocity would already be with the woman by the time he got there, which was fine with him.

"Well, I used to cover up, but I've decided it's not worth it. I'm strong and I should be proud of it. I don't get mugged, but...well..." She gestured to her arms. "Most people are afraid of mugging someone who's stronger than them. I guess that's just how it is." She shrugged. "I didn't have any reason to attack you unless you wouldn't have cooperated. I don't like hurting people if I can avoid it." The implication in her voice was that she was more than capable of hurting people when she put her mind to it.
