Solar Sentinel turned and gazed at the robot for a split second, before raising his hands. A brilliant blue energy, vaguely resembling flames, blasted from his hands and made the robot vanish from sight for a second. When the energy faded, the robot remained. He cursed inwardly. This was going to be troublesome.

Henry chuckled a bit. "I haven't danced in..." He thought back to a party, many, many years ago. "Ages." "Jazz is alright, though I favor bluegrass myself. Kentucky boy, Kentucky tastes." He said with a smile. He leaned back and glanced out the window. "This city moves so fast, it's confusing and strange and wonderful all at the same time. It's crazy and alive, you know? I like it here. I like that music and fashion and dance all change. We live in a wonderful world, even if I don't always like the changes."

"There." Voltage said, as the armor suddenly collapsed and became a backpack again. "Power's back, flaw fixed. Even made sure the flaw wasn't anywhere else in it either." He put the tool down and sat down. "It really is an interesting piece of technology. It was almost worth it to get my eye on it. I've met people with powered armor before, but every suit seems like, it's own thing. All of it is different, like snowflakes, each suit tailored to it's owner specifically."

Mali stepped forward, and stood beside the man. "We don't know what warehouse, we don't know what a Saltie is, and we don't know who Bennie is. We need more information. Now, we'd like to help you, because I know you're in rough shape. We're superheroes, it's our job to keep people safe. But we can't do that for you without more information. Okay?" She hoped the other two would show soon.

Flapper? He thought to himself. That was a fad back when he was young, so many years ago. Unless that term came back around as a fad, she might be as old as he was, maybe even older. "Flapper, huh?" He said, chuckling. "I haven't heard...heard of anyone using that term in years. Did it become popular again when I wasn't paying attention?" He said with a chuckle. He asked, referring to the short-haired and stylish form of dress years prior. He'd met a few flappers. He didn't understand their style, but largely left well enough alone.

Watching Tona track was interesting. The girl knew what she was doing, and as much as Mali tried, she couldn't really figure out what she was doing. Ah, well, different skill sets. It was very interesting, but mystifying. As the two of them reached the man, she couldn't help but pity him. It was unfortunate, but he did it to himself. She was, however, trying to make sure he wasn't actually dying. She couldn't be that heartless. Someone who did that to themselves may be stupid, but they should at least be given the chance to survive and learn how to stop.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Office (IC)

Voltage flew upward, narrowly dodging the swarm. This guy was annoying, there was no telling how many of these swarms he had. Ah, well, time to start fighting him instead. He raised his hand and a current of silver electricity hit Hive Tyrant dead on. Voltage smelled the faint tinge of ozone in the air. With any luck, Hive Tyrant wouldn't be able to take many more shots like that. At least, Voltage hoped. -

Voltage decided to try a new trick. In the poorly lit area, foes could come from anywhere, and the thug was clearly of the impression someone was out there somewhere. He clasped his hands together and concentrated, sending a vibrant silver arc between his outstretched hands. It made a low, electric hum, and the air smelled of ozone. He poured more energy into the arc, causing it to grow brighter and brighter until it lit up the whole area around them. Once it was sustained, he lowered his hands and gazed around the room. "I am aware of what I'm doing." He said, showing off his powers just a little bit. "Is your ally truly going to attack two trained and experienced superheroes?"

It didn't take much prodding to get Solar Sentinel to go after the debris. He vanished from her sight, a glowing blue contrail off into the distance, he needed to make sure the debris wasn't dangerous for him to touch. Part of him was glad to be in space again having a reason to really stretch his powers. He briefly wondered if he was at all visible from the Earth, and if so, what they thought of him.

2! Solar Sentinel is aware that electricity exists. But at least it didn't hurt him, 30

Solar Sentinel cruised through orbit, flying at a reasonable pace. Every once in a while, he flew out of the atmosphere, just to enjoy the feel of space, and the freedom to fly. That was, of course, until he spotted something different about one of the objects. He flew in closer and stared, eyes wide. A Star Knight, and badly injured at that. The first thing obviously, would be to ensure the Star Knight would reach the Earth in safety. He knew nothing of their armor, but assumed that level of damage would be very, very bad for them. He tried his best to gently grab the injured knight, and tried to bring her to Earth...

"I can do what I can, but I'm not qualified to teach, really." She said. "I can help you get into shape though, teach you more than the basics. But if you want real, honest to goodness training, you need to find someone who can teach you." She said. "Easiest way to do it is to keep meeting me here in the gym, that way we can just roll our training in together."

"Actually, yes, I'm planning on fixing that flaw." He said with a smile. "It was a couple of bad wires, basically. Not designed right to handle the electric overload. I'm simply replacing them with ones that broke with ones that won't in the future." "I don't mean to make it sound like I hate my powers or anything. The disconnect is weird, but I've done a lot of good otherwise. I figure sooner or later, I'll get used to my powers and go back to normal. As normal as I was before."
-
"I'm fine..." Mali said, shaking her head of cobwebs. "Maybe I should drive from now on? I do have a license." She glanced outside. "Yeahh, invisible object gets slammed into. I doubt they'll chalk it up to a hallucination." "I'm inclined to agree with Kimber. I don't think any of us want to step out into a hail of gunfire." She glanced around. "Being a hero is one thing, dying for the cause, noble and all that. Stepping out there would be suicide."

Voltage popped more panels and set to work again. "I don't really have a 'type', anymore. I mean, imagine the most beautiful woman in the world. The kind of woman you'd just stand there and gawk at if you weren't careful. Now imagine she doesn't get any kind of emotional response out of you, at all." He looked up at Baxter. "Now if you're worried, learn some more skills. Learn how to fix the armor, how it works, that sort of thing. Don't have to be a super genius to pick up a trade, or useful skills. Take some courses, that sort of stuff." He popped a few panels back in place. "Like, a good example; you know that electricity is generated, and then carried to the source by conductors, right? Wires and stuff? Well, wires are built to take only so much power before it damages them. The wires in your suit, they were protected from that kind of damage. But there was a flaw in that protection. Seems my blast fried a specific set of these wires. Without those wires, you can't get power to it. Just like if you destroy the power cord on an appliance, it doesn't work." "Though, it's not really wires in there." He admitted. "Semi-conductors, super-conductors, resistors, it's all pretty complex, but that basic principle is the same."
-
Voltage wasted no time firing another electric blast, this time, ensuring his foe was out cold. "Look at that." He said, coldly. "A convenient witness that can help us. You want to help us right?" He said, tilting his head. He folded his arms, and didn't actually land, instead floating there and glaring a hole in the thug. He knew he wasn't scary, but he could at least pretend.

Henry went white for just a second, and then smiled. "I'm sure the view is wonderful." he said, not sure what her invitation meant, but knowing people in this modern era, he had no idea. "I grew up in Kentucky, actually." He said. "Parents died at a very young age, was raised by a relative. Joined the army as soon as I could." Sooner, actually, but she didn't need to know that. "Did a long tour of duty and settled in Freedom City. I liked Kentucky, but it just didn't suit me much." Truth be told, he liked the city, with it's lights and noise. And despite those lights and noise being so much newer. He liked the city now, too. Of course, a 'long tour of duty' was nearly a century, but again, not need-to-know information. "Decided on becoming a fire fighter, figured after going to war, I could try to save lives."

I don't mean everyone in the same thread, I mean acknowledging that we have cosmic heroes in the first place. Both Marvel and DC have longstanding traditions of space heroes, and I rarely see any heroes on here actually go into space.
