Trying to attack Drone 1...doesn't quite work, so... Rerolling with an HP! Yeah, he was just destined to miss, but luckily...

I listed all the things you said, to include a grapple bonus for his base natural strength of 18. Base strength is 26...each rank of super strength brings his effective strength (for carrying capacity) up by 5, so... 6 ranks of Super-Strength x the +5 bonus 30 effective strength, for a total of 56... when calculating unlisted carrying capacities, the formula is; pick a number that is listed, multiply by 4 for every 10 points above that it is. 56-26=30. So 4x4x4, or 920x4x4x4, one 4 for every 10 points above 26. 920x4x4x4=58,880 pounds...58,880/2,000 = 29.44 tons. I double checked the table, 29.44 fits neatly between 24 tons (strength of 55) and 50 tons (strength of 60). I had to double check all my math, but I think this is correct. If I'm mistaken, feel free to let me know and I'll make further adjustments, thanks in advance for checking it. -
Mali grimaced. That hurt...well, a bit...kinda. Then she grinned. "If you think I'm Xena...you should know what's coming." She backed up for a second and jumped up a bit, extending her knee. She hoped that he would move to block her knee and leave herself open, but, alas, that wasn't to be. So she kneed him anyway, bringing her right knee against his chest. She knew it had to hurt, she felt the wind leave him. Still, he took the hit a lot better than he should have. She jumped back and looked at her foe. He was hurt, but wasn't anywhere near out of the fight. She grinned. This might actually be a challenge.

26 hits I believe, so... DC21 TOU save

Voltage chuckled and closed his eyes. After a few moments, it was obvious that the door was beginning to shake slightly. Between Stormbreaker's wind and his apparent power over the door, it wasn't going to last long. Suddenly, the door exploded inward, sending it flying. Voltage looked up. His magnetic control loosened the door, and Stormbreaker's wind pushed it down. He just gave it a little bit more oomph.

"That...that's not good. I don't suppose there's any way to stop it?!" She looked around, at Sharl and Koshiro. "Well, I suppose the only thing we can do is figure out what to do once it gets there. Don't have a whole lot of choice in that matter, do we?" She said, glancing around. She walked over to Sharl. "Do you have any idea where it's taking us? Friendly, unfriendly? Should we be on our guard or really on our guard?"
-
Voltage assessed the situation, taking in the various details and components of what was going on. Then, he raised his hand. A bolt of silvery electrical energy screamed through the air, enveloping one of the thugs. "I'm wary...this looks very odd, neither of them look in charge." He said as his target took the brunt of the blast. "I'd recommend caution."

not bad, 22 for initiative

Mali looked around, at least a bit surprised at how identical everything was. She supposed she shouldn't be, after all it was almost identical. "So, how's mom and dad?" He asked. "Dad got into a fight a few weeks ago, he's recovering but still sore. Mom is the same as ever." "So your mom is the normal one and your dad's the martial artist, right?" Malian asked. Mali laughed. "Yeah, Dad learned from Grandpa, and he taught me. I was the one who wanted him to be harder on me and make me learn more than the basics." "Mom was the same way with me..." Malian said.

Made some adjustments; Put his enhanced strength in the array along with ranks of super strength Added in a couple more super-strength outside the array Adjusted his base strength to 18 Added a few more skill points, as well as ranks in Galactic Lore Added point costs for powers, adjusted his defense (and made it accurate) -

Mali couldn't hear what was going on, but she could clearly see that these guys were trouble. She glanced at Cerys and pointed at the large men surrounding their friend. She slammed the remainder of her drink and set the glass down on the table. She balled up her fists and walked towards the men, her eyes like thunderstorms. Whether from anger or excitement, her face had an edge to it. She was spoiling for a fight. "I believe..." She said, stepping up to the large men. "That my friend said no." Despite their size, she gave no indication that she was afraid of them. Indeed, for a moment, she seemed larger than her five and a half foot tall frame suggested.
-
Mali walked behind the girls and, noticing Cerys with the drinks, made her way towards her and sat down. She leaned back a bit in her seat and turned towards the other girl. "If Tona's not careful, she might end up having fun." She said with a grin as she watched them. She was also keeping an eye out for any trouble, watching the crowd carefully. If anyone got grabby, she assumed Tona could handle it, but she wanted to be there to help in case something started. Trouble was unlikely, but Mali was no fool. She was also a bit worried that someone might approach Tona in the wrong way, or Tona might need to be pulled out of the crowd, or any number of things. She wasn't really worried about all of that, of course. So she smiled and nodded her head to the music as she sipped her drink. Just because she was having fun didn't mean she shouldn't do her best to be alert.
-
Mali blinked as she immediately spotted her alternate. He was a bit taller than her, and noticeably bigger. He definitely seemed more comfortable with being himself, having dressed in a plain black t-shirt and simple jeans. It was obvious that he worked out as much as she did, if not more so. He had certainly packed on more muscle. She smiled. "Hi, I'm Mali." This was exciting, and a bit strange, also frightening. She'd have to tell her parents all about this. "Malian." He said, giving her a nod and reaching his hand out. They shook hands, firmly, both seeming to test the other's strength a bit. "I see you train as much as I do." He said. "Yeah, I can tell you do too. This is pretty cool...." "And kinda scary, yeah." He clearly had all of her nervous ticks as he stuck his hands in his pockets. Neither of them knew quite what to say...

Voltage observed the targets for a few moments. In any other situation, he might be tempted to try an EMP to drop them all, but with Citizen so close, he couldn't risk hurting someone like that. Ah, well, electricity was as valid as anything, he supposed. His body coursed with energy for a few moments, before unleashing a massive blast that coursed through the frame of one of the drones. He'd apparently damaged some essential electronic components, as it became sluggish and stopped firing. With any luck, they could manage this quickly and not let them destroy the building.

Voltage really does have spectacular initiative luck...20

Player Name: Thunder King Character Name: Solar Sentinel Power Level: 8/9 (120/141PP) Trade-Offs: -2 Defense/+2 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 21 In Brief: Cosmically empowered immortal veteran of an interstellar war Alternate Identity: Henry William Mason Identity: Secret Birthplace: Adolphus, Kentucky Occupation: Firefighter Affiliations: Freedom City Fire Department, the Zarnashi Military Family: None Description: Age: 116 (DoB: January 18th, 1896) Apparent Age: 35 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 6'3" Weight: 230 lbs Eyes: Gray Hair: Brown Henry is tall and broad shouldered, with a ruggedly handsome face, and stern features. He looks reasonably young, but anyone who sees into his eyes will see the age in them. He keeps his hair short and walks upright. He favors work pants and button up shirts, claiming to feel naked in t-shirts. He also favors leather shoes and boots, having a dislike for sneakers. Henry's costume is blue and gold, designed to look sleek and fast even when it's not in motion. Power Descriptions: Henry's cosmic energy manifests as a brilliant blue, though for certain things he can suppress the glow, such as using his normal flight or super-strength. The exact manifestations of this energy follow; Blast: Henry's blasts are manifested as blue bolts of energy, slightly resembling flame. Flight: When Henry flies, it manifests as a slight blue aura. When he's pulling power from his cosmic array, it produces a blue contrail that follows after him. Super-Strength: When accessing his array to enhance his strength, Henry's glow intensifies relative to the effort he needs to put forth. Healing: The recipient of his healing also glows slightly when affected by it. Extra Effort: The higher his energy output is, the more flame-like the manifestations become. History: Henry was born in Kentucky to a poor farm family. His father and mother both died early in his life, leaving him orphaned at 12 years old. At 16, he lied about his age and joined the US Army, where he served until the end of WWI, serving with distinction as a Non-Commisioned Officer. He was discharged honorably in 1920, and settled down in Freedom City. It was in 1922, however, that everything changed. One night, a friend of his invited him to stay out with him in the country, at his home in rural Pennsylvania. He never got there. Instead, an alien space craft captured him for study, crewed by members of the Zarnashi race. They were planning on sending him back after their tests, but they spotted an enemy vessel on their sensors. In their haste to escape the enemy craft, they accidentally brought their passenger, Henry, with them. Over the next few months, it was increasingly evident that war was inevitable between the Zarnashi and the Makh'rell peoples. Unable to go home, Henry became an ally of the Zarnashi race. A few months later, he found himself on a brand new space craft with an experimental FTL drive. The drive's core ended up with a massive breach. Selflessly, Henry helped everyone escape from the room, but he himself was trapped. The damaged drive bathed him in cosmic energy. The Zarnashi were surprised to find that he was not only alive, but far more powerful. He willingly joined the war against the Makh'rell race, becoming a respected and feared member of their military. However, the war dragged on for years. Henry fought for 88 years in a war that wasn't his own. Once the Zarnashi had secured peace, however, there was no reason to keep such an oddity among their ranks. And so, with his permission, they dropped him back on Earth with a few key supplies. Little did he know how much the world had changed. He managed to get enough help to set himself up again, with a new job; firefighter with the Freedom City Fire Department. However, after years of fighting, he found himself having a hard time adjusting to society. So, he decided to make himself a costume and start a new war; a war on crime. He'd never take another life again, but fighting is all he knows, and all he has. Personality & Motivation: Immortality has taught Henry a great deal about life, death, and survival. He has the long view on life, but also knows to cherish life's pleasures. Honor is very important to him. He considers his word paramount, and is reluctant to give it unless he knows he can live up to it. He fights crime because fighting is all he knows. He feels that he's seen too much blood, and will neither take a life, nor neglect to save civilians. Powers & Tactics: He uses the same tactics now that he did in the war; hit them fast, hit them hard. He makes ready use of move-by-action, charging in to blast, hitting them fast and moving out of range. When pressed, he has no problem closing distance and hammering at the opposition until it breaks. His powers leave little room for finesse or subtlety, but he's just fine with that. Complications: This looks like a job for...the fire alarm!?: Henry takes his duties as a Firefighter seriously, so sometimes, the job gets in the way of hero work. Secret: Identity. Nobody knows that Henry is a superhero, he likes it that way A Stranger In His Own Land: He's lived in space for most of his life. Earth, especially modern Earth, is so different that he won't get pop culture references and doesn't understand modern social norms very well. Child of Battle: He's been fighting for so long that sometimes he chooses to fight when he might have gotten away with a nonviolent solution. Blood on his hands: Henry is responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of sentient beings, this does not sit well on his concience. The Bloody Stranger: During the war, Henry had a bit of a reputation for being a ferocious and nigh-unkillable warrior. Sometimes this reputation gives him problems when dealing with extra-terrestrials. For her part, Mali just sort of buried her head in her hands. Talking about the potential musculature of her male counterpart was an odd subject, one she had no intent on addressing. "So...I'm way over equipped then?" She said with a slight laugh. "You did say self-efficient, so I sort of...went overboard I guess." She had no intention of taking any of that stuff back. Besides, it wasn't exactly all that big of a deal. Most of the stuff she had could potentially prove useful...maybe. Either way, it was better than talking about her alternate universe equivalent's muscles.

"Okay, so...I'm no expert, but that sounds like this ship should have been out of commission for a long time. Either that, or it somehow traveled through time. That's possible, right? Is that possible? Did something kill everyone on board the ship, and it just repaired itself? Did a completely empty space ship somehow drift off for five hundred years? This is all very weird and I think we have to look deeper to figure out the truth..." She turned to Koshiro, curious as to what his birds had found, but not sure if he'd even know yet or how his powers worked.

28, a good old fashioned blast on Drone 3

Mali was well aware of her relative fragility in the world. Aliens, ghosts, and all sorts of other people filled the world she lived in. There was no telling what sort of things could happen on a trip like this. So, when she was told to be 'self-sufficient', she made very sure not to disappoint. Her backpack contained not only food, but various emergency supplies. She had no idea what to expect, but with space simulations, ninjas, and her new-found friends in Young Freedom, she knew that superheroes led strange lives. Best be prepared. She didn't have a mere backpack, but an entire hiker's pack. Short wave radio, tent, sleeping bag, non-perishable food (more than she needed, just in case), some rope, a water canteen (and several bottles of water), a small pot (with a few fire starters), assorted climbing gear, a compass, and a waterproof watch. She realized that she might look a little silly, but in her limited heroing experience, one must always be prepared. Even if she never used half the stuff she brought with her, she'd feel even more stupid if she ended up not having what she needed.
