Voltage didn't even slow down, rocketing into the midst of his foes. His body lit up, crackling with electric energy as he flew, a silvery glow emanating throughout the room. Faster than the eye could see, he charged through the air, a black and silvery blur. The moment he was within range, he began to calculate. The area he was in, the location of the various individuals, the power he'd need to use to avoid hurting them. A combination of instinct and bewildering mental abilities enabled him to always avoid lethal blasts. Suddenly, current erupted from his flying form in all directions, lighting the room up with silvery light. Various armed men felt powerful jolts of energy course through their bodies. Strong enough to knock out, maybe give them headaches, but not to kill. He made sure they all fled, but otherwise didn't slow down. He kept his bewildering flight speed up, wanting to ensure he got to the one responsible for all of this in time.

Moving in closer, stunting a burst area, taking 10 on the attack roll...that's a DC 20 TOU save

No, I'm not leaving, just saying that first off. I just wanted to thank everyone, from the bottom of my heart. I suffer from bouts of depression sometimes. Some days, I just struggle to keep my head straight and keep my chin up. I'm not suicidal, I don't hurt myself, and I'm not addicted to anything. I'm sure there are far worse cases than my own. It just...sucks, sometimes. When I'm down, I struggle, and push, and make myself go forward. It always breaks, it goes away, and I feel better. Then, some time down the line, it hits again, and the whole process starts over. This place is a community, a place I enjoy coming to and participating in. It makes me feel welcome, makes me feel like I belong someplace. That's rare for me, I usually feel like an outsider. Not here, though, I don't feel like an outsider here. So, when I feel down, I log into chat sometimes. I read what people say, I participate. It helps me get back up, dust myself off, and go forward again. I don't know who's going to read this. I don't know if anyone's going to read this. I don't care, I just felt like saying it that's all this is. So, to conclude this thoroughly cheesy post, thank you again. Thanks for putting up with me and thanks for being awesome.

Simulation or not, the ship was amazing to Mali. She'd never seen anything like it before. Her eyes wandered all over the area, taking the whole scene in. She thought about the scenario they were in. "It's unlikely an empty space ship would just arrive around like that..." Mali reasoned. "So either there's a crew we haven't met yet, or the crew's dead or out of commission because of something we haven't met yet. Even if there's a crew, they might not like us arriving like this. There's a good chance there's something hostile in here, so we should definitely be very careful..." Experience had taught her a few things since her arrival at the school. Never trust the first thing you see and always listen to your intuition, were among them.

"I think you'll be fine, Tona, you can carry all of your gear another time. Those things are tacky looking anyway. Just relax and have fun." She turned the car back on and pulled away, taking them all to the club. She turned the music back on and rolled her window down to enjoy the warm air. She hoped that Tona wouldn't be too upset, it was far too nice a night to use the air conditioning. After a bit, the car pulled into a parking spot within a block or so of the club. She'd seen where it was, and knew how to get there. She got out of the car. "We're here." She said with a smile.

Mali nodded and half understood what Sharl was saying, but she caught the gist. He was trying to connect to a network, if he could, and the ship design was simple and effective for...stuff, space stuff she assumed. For Mali, however, the suit proved to be an irritation. She'd never worn anything like that before, and it was obvious. She struggled to get it on, and eventually, figured it out. She turned toward Koshiro and walked around him, looking all over to make sure all the seals were in check. She may have lingered for a couple of seconds, and hoped that Koshiro didn't notice or didn't care.

Voltage flew up and over the skylight, watching down below. This was going to suck if he wasn't careful. They could easily turn on him and blast him to kingdom come. But, he had a plan. Shock and awe, really. Blow open the skylight and start frying, then wait for Silver Spider to go in and attack. Luckily, he could teleport if it looked like there would be a chance he would get badly hurt or killed. He inhaled, and sent a bolt of electricity downward into the glass, shattering it. He lowered himself through the hole it made, descending to the area below through a waterfall of glass, making sure all the glass fell below him while still giving the impression. His hands crackled with silvery bolts of electricity. He wanted to make a spectacle, well, he did.

GM The man sat there, silent as a stone, simply waiting for pick up. He said nothing, nor did he move. He seemed to at least be aware of the implications of what he had done. Arrest, prison, all that. Yet he didn't seem to care. It was almost as if it didn't matter to him one way or the other. But why? Why didn't it matter? Why didn't he care? What was going on?
-
GM He staggered forward a bit and looked up at Asad, as if to strike. He, however clearly thought better of it and simply sat down. It wasn't clear what he was doing, or why, but he had clearly stopped doing it. The large, mountain of a man just sat there, not moving, not getting up. He was waiting to be captured, or arrested. As if that had been his intention. He didn't even seem bothered about the notion of being arrested. He just sat there calmly waiting.
-
aand, I think that's a wrap, he's staggered again, and bruised again...that's three bruises, dazed and staggered
-
aand, I think that's a wrap, he's out...
-
GM The Brute struggled, staggered. He was dizzy. He leaped, hoping, perhaps, to strike again, but to no avail. He couldn't even manage the energy to attack, so he fell out of the sky and landed on his feet. He stumbled a few extra feet. That last blast apparently took a lot out of him, and he stumbled around trying to find a solid footing. It was clear that it wouldn't take much more to take him out now.
-
and ooh boy does he fail his TOU save
-
GM He shook his head and dragged himself to his feet, clearly not in the mood to play around. Apparently, falling on his face angered him even more somehow. Meanwhile, a couple got out of their car and started taking pictures, trying to get a glimpse of the flying hero. Asad could barely see it from his height, but it was clear that a crowd was gathering. Some of them even seemed to recognize who he was; the fighting playboy Asad. They began to murmur, slightly worried that Asad would lose the fight.
-
To make this faster, I'm going to say that he fell on his face and has to get back up, so no attack from him this round, instead he's just going to glower threateningly.
-
GM Readying himself for attack, the brute dropped a bit, ready to jump. Massive muscles like coiled steel springs tightened as he readied for his leap. He took off into the air like a shot, flying towards Asad. Unfortunately for him, his trajectory was off. He leaped at Asad, ready to strike but passed him in the air, then missed the nearby building slightly, landing on the edge and rolling before falling on his face.
-
GM The brute growled and jumped into the air, slamming his fist into Asad's chest, causing the other man to push back a bit. Then he landed with a thud and stared up at his foe. Asad's aerial position was, apparently, making it hard to approach him. Still, Asad was already hurt, and the big guy was well on his way to hurting him some more.
-
Asad takes another bruise, and is up EDIT: So he's going to try to jump up and miss horribly

Mali reached up and put her mask on. "I'm Crimson Tiger." She said before beginning her own stretches. Dropping down into a split, she grabbed her toe and began stretching her hamstrings, before spinning back onto her feet with practiced ease. With that, she began doing other stretches, before finally jogging in place and shadowboxing a bit, a left, a right, and finally a snap kick. "Okay, so...what is it we're doing?"
-
Mali smiled and looked down at the delicate little flower. So this is what he could do, all in all it was pretty cool. She assumed that he wasn't 'Paper Flower Man' or something. He could probably do some really cool and interesting things with it. Still, she was at a loss for a moment. On the one hand, she wasn't sure what to do with it. It looked so delicate that she was afraid she might damage it. While he could certainly make more, it would be insulting of her to throw it away. So, she reached into her bag and fetched something she could use to attach it to her bag. She wasn't about to throw something so pretty away.
-
Mali headed into the locker room and changed quickly, stuffing her clothes into her bag. She took the pouch with her chakram and placed it on her belt, then slid her sleeveless gloves onto her arms, followed by her boots. With that done, she stepped in front of the mirror and made sure that her costume was in order. She wasn't bothering with the mask, choosing instead to let it hang off of her shoulders a bit. After a quick inspection, she walked out of the door and back to the room Koshiro was in. She watched him fold paper for a few seconds, wordlessly. "That's cool, I'm not all that craft oriented myself."
-
"Oh, here in Freedom City." She said with a little bit of pride. She adjusted the backpack on her shoulders and chuckled a bit. "Only normal human, huh? That's got to be interesting sometimes. Hey if we're going into the Doom Room to work out, I might want to put on at least part of my costume, there's an armored inlay to protect me, and it has my chakram in it. She reached into her bag and made sure all the parts she would need were in it. Her armored inlay, her chakram. She kept the bag out of Koshiro's sight, for fear of accidentally showing some private items that she didn't want some boy to see. That wouldn't be wise of her.
-
Mali thought it was odd to have all that paper, but she said nothing about it. After all, she was sure he had a reason. "No, but I've only been in there a couple of times. It still kinda confuses me, but I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually." Her hands reached into the pockets of her shorts out of habit, and she looked around the area. She was a bit nervous. She stepped into the elevator and waited for it. "I'm not judging anyone, but...this place still freaks me out a bit. It's filled with so many different people. It's cool seeing people of different cultures and species, but it's also, well, a bit crazy. I have a hard time believing I go to school with aliens and all that. I'm sure you're pretty used to it by now."
-
"In the mean time..." Mali said, cutting in. "You can store anything that won't fit in your purse right here." With that, she popped open the glove compartment of the car, and showed that yes, it was locked. "That way you can get all your stuff back later tonight." It was nice, being out with friends. Real friends, who weren't judging her or making fun of her. She wanted to do this more, maybe even invite them to dinner.
